The Dhimmicrats are already busy circulating their Smear Sheet™ on Sam Alito, a document so disgusting that even Chris “Puffball” Matthews felt compelled to speak out about it. At the top of their list of “grievances” about Alito? The damn dago failed to nail a bunch of mobsters back in 1988. Birds of a feather and all that, snicker, snicker, bigotry writ large.
Now, Chris did make sure to state that the origins of the document were “not for attribution” but, thanks to Redstate.org the attribution has been nailed. It would help the Demoturds immensely if their ClueTard Minions would learn about Word metadata, but it does make the job of correctly attributing smear jobs a lot easier for the rest of us that they haven’t.
Pathetic dumbfucks, the whole sorry lot of them.

Yay, first comment!
Anyway, I am suprised he was so vocal about it. He makes a good point about the lameness of their most important charge.
Are there copies of this document anywhere?

Whoops, I should have read all of RedState. Nevermind…

Nah, this can’t be true. Surely the dhimmicraps would have learned from See B.S ‘e mistakes and not made it that patently obvious.

The donks are in full panic mode.
The nomination of Alito has demonstrated that the “extreme right-wing base” managed to do what the democrats and their liberal moonbat minions could not…..
Get “Dubya” pissed off.
“You want a qualified conservative “strict constructionist” with experience and impeccable credentials? Well dammit, here yuh go!”
What’s even better is that this pick is going to bring every shrieking, crackpot, gibbering moonbat front and center and remind the country just who makes up the core of the democrat party.
So much for retaking the House and Senate…

I actually think this is great. The first thing I do when reasonably sober is to check out exactly who is against the issue. In this case the ACLU has come out hard, Harry Reid, Kennedy and Kerry, and now Now is way pissed off so I know for a solid fact this guy needs to be on the court.
Unfortunately, I live in Nebraska so my senators are gangsta of the 14 member Nelson and super Rino Hagel. I will write them for all the good it does. Sometimes we can only hope common sense will win out. I would have said pray instead of hope but now we know how increadibly politically incorrect that is.

Oh Heavens, mag44_vaquero, please do be politically incorrect here. We don’t mind.

Oh! Boo! Hoo!
“I am concerned that the nomination may be a needlessly provocative nomination,” said Senate Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.). “Instead of uniting the country, the president chose to reward one faction of his party.”…
LOL!

Have you read this thing? It is one GOOD reason to confirm Alito.

Okay:time for another dumb Aussie question.
Put that baseball bat down, Spats
I think I understand whats happening but: what’s the issue here…is he a “stricr constructionist who will overturn Roe Vs Wade (and YES I did read the case, and I understand it..I think)
Will there be another uphill battle to get this nomination confirmed? Or does the President have the ability to tell them to shove it?
Can someone clue this novice Aussie in on EXACTLY what is going on here and what the process is?..we have a High Court too but WAY nowhere near the fuss this is stirring up…

Hey Brendan (#9), according to the Washington Times we have the following: Majority Leader Bill Frist, Tennessee Republican, acknowledged that the fight will be tough, but predicted confirmation before the end of the year.
“In 1990, a Democrat-controlled Senate unanimously confirmed Judge Alito as a circuit judge,” Mr. Frist said in a statement dispatched 27 minutes before President Bush announced his selection. “I hope that my colleagues will give his nomination a fair opportunity this time as well.”…
What the President has to worry about is the clique of R.I.N.O.s in the Senate…

In, other words:
THIS is the kind of In-Your-Face nominee I wanted when John Roberts was put up.
Nothing ventured, Nothing gained.
Now, start planning for when Stevens (85 years old) or Ginsberg (72 with cancer issues) retires.

OT, I know…
But I just want to speak my mind on something…
I know W is responsible for any number of blunders- I am of the opinion that the war against Islamism (newly-declared at this late date though it is) has not been pursued with nearly as much vigor or prejudice as required- to name one rather important example.
I also do not agree with any number of planks constituting his alleged domestic “agenda”.
However- and this is my main point- I still remain convinced that in spite of faulty advisors and personal differences etc., that W is a good man, and has necessarily set us against the status-quo of the past in a very important way- no longer is it enough to clasp our hands and pray for stability in a place for which “stability” has meant (for so long unbeknownst to us) “Death to America”.
Bush will no doubt stumble again- although I wish they’d just declare war against Idiotarians- but I will most likely remain convinced of his ultimate rectitude. Let us not forget that (and I hope every librul moron reading this chokes on his -or her- own bile at this comparison) Winston Churchill was drummed out as a failure before the mission was seen through. W may also have to go down with the ship as long as whoever follows him understands that it’s not abortion or the Publik Skool Sistum that really matters right now- it’s the survival of Western Civ we’re talking about here.
I disagree with the R party on a number of levels- but I see the larger issues. Why can’t libruls do that?

The interesting part may be how many RINOS are up for election in 2006.
I can see the RNC giving them “the word” to “fall into line” on this pick or they’ll get cut off from campaign cash like a wayward trustfunder….
It sounds like the Republican half of “The Gang of 14″ (with the exception of McCain, of course) is behind this pick.
If McCain is left exposed as the lone RINO to go against this pick, he’ll fall into lockstep for political expediency.
Of course, he’ll make a lot of plaintive bleats about “being railroaded” or some such idiocy first so as to appease his “unbiased” media pals.

[…] The DNC put out an “anonymous” smear sheet on Sam Alito. However, like their heroes at the UN, they did it as a Word document with the version history intact. Not only does it list the authors, but that they wrote it back in July. Geez. Posted by Ian S. in […]

This one’s a plus…
I also like that he’s into things like standards of proof for discrimination cases.
This, however, is a negative for me:
Bad juju, there. Given the standards of discussion on these type boards, I just read the decision. I also read Alito’s dissent. The officers in question had no justification for groping a woman and a ten-year-old girl. Hang ‘em.

Alito is Neato!
Finally, Ol’ George is getting serious again about his next Supreme Court Appointment:It’s very little to ask of a President who is proposing a lifetime appointment to the U.S. Supreme Court, but this time George W. Bush found his way

As I said on an earlier thread, this nominee is not an idealouge but rather a constructionist. You’ll notice, he will accede to the elected bodies representing the people, rather than make up his own law.

you know, to be honest, this kind of stuff i really dont get it all, putting a judge on the Supreme Court and all the stuff they have to go threw, but i do understand that every single time a Republican President, especially with Bush Jr, that the stupid and vindicatave Dems. act like 10 year old girls having a temper tantrum and do nothing productive and just stonewall and delay for no good reason at all….they only delay cuase its a Republican…not because of their record, Christ, it could be Abraham Linclon re-incarnated up there, and the wussy Dems would cry and scream and kick their legs all because its a Republican up there…thats all….his record could be outstanding, they would still act like the jackasses they are….Fatass Kennedy, he needs to get back in bed and take a 40 year nap cuase it aint doing him any good….what a wate of human clay that man is, how is it that his liver hasnt failed him by now???….he must be pickled by all the alcohol he imbibes…..The Dems need to stop acting like little children throwing a temper tantrum when they dont get EVERYTHING they want and act like GROWNUPS….responsible growups at that….fucking dimwits Democrats….God to be able to do like Dane Cook says, to have a superpower to cover up assholes like the Dems with spaghetti, cause no one wants to be covered in spaghetti…HOT spaghetti at that….OUCH!!!

Dex, I am not sure a (single) female officer patting down the mother and daughter in a bathroom, out of sight of any of male officers constitutes “groping”. Do I like the idea of the police searching 10 year old girls for drugs? Not especially, but then I like the idea of Meth cooking fuckweasels stuffing meth into their kids clothes even less.
And I love how Alito is described simultaneously by the Left as a “Whitey” ala the Daily Show, and an Italian-American prosecutor who “failed to convict mobsters”. So which is it: Alito is another White Good Ole Boy from the Club, or a member of the Evil Italian Criminal Conspiracy? The Modern Left, so “reality based” they cannot help torpedoeing their own smear campaigns with conflicting lies.

Well, she DID make them drop trou and bend over… Far as I’m concerned, the only time that’s justified is if you have a specific and immaculate warrant. I have to confess, here, that this is an issue for me. My response to an order to drop trou and turn around would be on the order of “Get near my ass and you’re dead, m#####f####r!”. Hell, my doctor’s not allowed there.
Re: Meth cooking fuckweasels: Ditch the War on Drugs. Legalize it all. Tax the stuff and sell it in liquor stores, 21 and older to buy. Use the taxes for rehabs and drug education. If someone ODs, or gets shot while robbing a house to support the habit, call it chlorine for the gene pool.
