I certainly am not gloating. Like it or not, compared to the Mullah Moors of Arabia, the French are brethren.

More to the point, the jihadis consider France and the West to be one civilization, so what seems to work there will be tried here.

It won’t work here, of course, for the simple reason that we Americans are far too “simplisme” to extend rights to barbarians other than surrender and death. But that would still mean blood shed on our own streets, some of it belonging to actual humans.

Don’t worry, Elephant Man, it’s all been taken care of. The ordinary Russians are being contantly fed a line that it is us who support the Islamist terrorist against them, that this is America’s geopolitical game because we are eager for their natural wealth and are afraid of their potential economic might.

Some minor govermental officials say it pretty openly. The higher-ups throw around hints here and there. I am sure the Chinese, who have way more control over their press would take, if not already have taken, the same policy.

Neat, isn’t it? And for fairness sake, looking at some of our liberals’ words, it is not hard to come to such a conclusion: who the hell cares over there about our internal differences?
As soon as the left media writes something about Chechen freedom fighters, or, like ABC recently did, gives airtime to one of their warlords, it immediately becomes the whole America’s fault…

I recall this overly-covered incident, but I think the flame-thrower part comes from one of the “Try Hard” movies–where the flame thrower, not being armored, blows up. It wouldn’t offer that many seconds’ worth of flame anyway. (It’s been a few years since I read a book on the subject–by Ragnar Benson, I think.) What no one mentions is that it no doubt gets warm fast under all that protection. What you really need is Starship Troopers power armor.

Interestingly, not too many bank robbers seem to have copied these guys in the years since.

Apparently the French police haven’t even tried shooting the punks yet…

Juandos, to add to that. The Vichy aka Vicious French Collaborators turned over their Jews to the Nazis, including a whole orphanage to be gassed on arrival. However, the Vichy would turn in their own families, Christians, former soldiers, and anyone else who was NOT a Nazi bootlick. In the end, the Vichy got theirs. Summary executions, beatings, and all that.

The French are an odd lot. They demand everyone leave them alone, but when it gets too much for them to bare, they whine about not getting help soon enough.

I gloat to a degree, as the French Government is reaping what it sewed. However, I do worry for innocent folk like the old crippled lady who got turned into a shish kabob. Also, the guy beaten to death trying to stop rioters from torching his business. (the victim was a mooselimb also).

I’m only too happy to see the Marxists and Muslims take each other on, and with any luck, cancel each other out. If the French government doesn’t forcefully put down this uprising - regular people will eventually take matters into their own hands. But if force is used, it only underscores very clearly that even the Left itself knows that everything it stands for is stupid and dangerous. Either way the Left loses all credibility, the Muslims get crushed and regular people (hopefully) rethink their slavish devotion to “tolerance,” cultural equivalency, political correctness, gun control and all the rest.

I would not be gloating about this. Anytime the enemy commits crimes like this and gets away with it, that just makes them stronger. What we need to do is use these Muslim riots to slap our liberals and our MSM in the face. Uber liberal fwance has done this to themselves. I have no sympathy for the French. They sold weapons to Saddam while we were fighting him and our young men were dying.

France is the US’ oldest enemy.

Their whole national attitude is so far removed from Charles Martel that I’m hoping they Islamify. Seeing how the French government is busy spreading its ass cheeks wider and wider in response to all of this as each day passes, I think it’s a sure bet the country will go Islamic. This is how it happened in Indonesia.

Indeed they are.

However, it’s not quite as simple as all that.

First off, you have to lay your hands on the nukes. That means fighting your way through whatever forces may be deployed to guard them, and they’re not likely to be guarded in a West Country shithouse with a “Welcome” mat out front either.

That, however, is the easy part.

Then you have two options: If you choose door number 1, you have to figure out how the launch system works. That means getting into the computer system and finding out how the frack it operates. If you make it past the security system without melting it down in the process, that is. Then you need to find out how to use the targeting system and, finally, you need the launch codes. Since nobody, even the fwench, are likely to put all of this information in a nice box labeled “open me, Islamofascist terrorists”, they might encounter a few snags along the way, quite a few of which will render their new toys utterly inoperable.

This leaves them with door number 2: Dismantling the warheads, getting them transported to wherever they want them to go “boom”, and then setting them off. Needless to say, fucking around with a nuclear warhead without knowing what the everloving Hell you’re doing is a hazardous occupation and, on top of that, delivery systems don’t come with a label complete with helpful arrows saying “unscrew to recover warhead, Ahmed.”

But let’s say that Suleiman and his 7th century friends somehow manage to separate the boom box from the delivery vehicle without turning themselves into glowing dust in the process. Now they have to deliver it (not easy in itself since we might be expecting them to do just that) and, critically, detonate it. Thankfully, outside of Hollywood, that is a little bit more complicated than attaching a spare clock radio and a random detonator to it and wait for the nice LEDs to count back to zero. They’re finicky little bastards, and bound to do all manner of things that will utterly ruin your day if you don’t do your job just so.

All that being said: Yes, we’d be stupid to ignore the possible threat if our ragheaded friends were to seize control of the froggies’ toys, but we’d have quite a little while to weigh our options from the time of the actual seizure to the time they could become a real threat. Time that we could, and will, spend getting up to all manner of devious shit.

People who’ve watched too many movies would probably suggest sending in SpecOps to recover the nuclear toys, but I’d strongly advise against that. It’s too much trouble, too many things could go wrong, and we’d probably end up losing a few perfectly good men in the process. Immediate precision strikes on their locations would do the trick much better and much, much more reliably. Oh yes, we know where they are. You’re fooling yourself if you think that we don’t.

Sure it would fuck up the local ecosystem a bit, but it wouldn’t be too bad. For one thing, they’re not located in major metropolitan areas and, for another, we don’t need to detonate them to render them inoperable. Shouldn’t take too much of a fireworks display unless we want to make absolutely sure, in which case the fwench would just have to learn to live with the consequences. Them or us and all that. And they know this too, which is why I’d be much surprised if they weren’t to guard them with particular zeal.

So no, I’m not too worried about that. I’d be very worried if I were fwench, but I’m not.
