The Darling Munchkin (9 1/2, and the most beautiful child in the world - inside and out) was very upset, too, and wrote a letter to the serviceman. **AND** [sucking up just a bit, Sire] she mentioned that this young man (i.e., the soldier) ought to come here to see just how much we really do love and honor our troops.

E-man, apparently, the envelope was not kept. The person who broke the story (who was apparently there when the soldier got the card) says the envelope had already been discarded.
I agree heartily with the general consensus here, that if this was indeed a child (which it probably was - let’s remember Occam’s Razor), anyone who would inculcate such hate and disrespect into a young person is certifiably insane. I am proud that I can say that the Darling Munchkin has been brought up to honor the uniformed services (including police, firemen, medical…): she knows very well that these courageous people stand between her/us and danger.
And, hey everyone - don’t just hang around here bitching at the outrage! (which, since this is the Rott, I know won’t happen) Get a card or something and send it to Joshua and his brave comrades who are healing at Walter Reed. Make sure they all know they are loved, respected and honored.
