NEVER forget!
[UPDATE: And while we’re on the subject, I’d like to say that I’m completely and utterly with Bill Quick here.
With all due respect, Mr. President, you can take your “Days of Mourning and Remembrance” and shove ‘em where your “Message of Hope and Compassion” doesn’t shine.
Me, I’ll stick with some “Days of Righteous Anger and Renewed Commitment to Killing Islamofascist Cavemen with Extreme Prejudice Until Every Last Motherfucking ONE of them is Dead, Dead, DEAD.”
Now, don’t get me wrong. I certainly don’t begrudge anybody their mourning, nor do I think any less of them because of it, that’s not my point.
It’s just that I’m not wired that way. To me, mourning is something I do when it’s all over and we walk back home from the service. To me, mourning is for when all is said and done, it is something I do in order to forget, in order to reconcile myself with the harsh realities of life, and in order to dust myself off and get on with it.
Well, all is most emphatically NOT said and done with regards to 9/11. There are still medievalist, primitive, subhuman sacks of protoplasm out there just dying to do an encore. There are still bastards out there who sympathize with what those swine did.
They are still breathing.
As long as that’s the case, mourning is not on my schedule. There is still work to be done, work consisting of making sure that they’re all killed. All of them. And their sympathizers and their friends. All of them. No mercy, no quarters, no forgiveness, no holding back. As they gave none, they shall have none in return.
Mourn if you must, but I won’t be joining you ’till they’ve all been eradicated.
No exceptions. - M.]

Far too many have already forgotten, I’m ashamed to admit.
Perhaps the good in the fiasco in NOLA will be that more awaken for good, and realize how far down the rabbit hole we are.
Never forget. Never forgive.

I fear another attack on ourhomeland is the only way the gloves will come off once and for all. Maybe then we will wade fully into the battle and wipe the vermin off the face of the earth.

Never Forgive, Never Forget
I never have and I never will.
It’s pretty disgusting that the blow dried propagandists are spending so little time remembering the terrorist attacks of that day. I watched CNN with Wolf Al-Blitzeera today (still don’t know why I put that kind of pain on myself) and all they did was point their finger at W for the inaction on the hurricane. Nazi Pelosi came on and made passing reference to 9/11 and how it united all of us, and she was sooooo dismayed at the disunity caused by the hurricane. That’s about the only thing she said that was intelligible.
I remember how all of those camera hogging political whores gathered on the steps of the capitol to sing God Bless America right after the attacks. That always seemed so ironic to me, after all…these are the same people trying to erase God from all aspects of our lives right??? what a bunch of worthless hypocrites.
Up here in the Pacific Northwest, I was preparing to go teach my college classes that morning, as we had just started the new school year on Sept 10th. Not much got done that mornng as we were all in shock and I was just plain pissed off. I remember walking through the hallways outside my classroom and finding a kid sitting and crying in the hall, I sat down and asked him if he was O.K. and he told me that he couldn’t reach his father who worked close to the WTC. I just let that kid cry on my shoulder for about 30 minutes..I didn’t know what to say or do, we just sat there while he cried on me….I just remember feeling so helpless and wanting to DO something to get back at those vermin.
That weekend, my son had a soccer game. His team was about as diverse as you could get, we had an Iraqi kid, an Iranian kid, and an Israeli kid (his father, a surgeon, was here on a medical exchange with Israel). I coached this team a couple years earlier with the Iraqi kids dad, he is a naturalized citizen and I know the family very well, I was a little concerned about them after the attack. What I found inspiring was that it was the Israeli family who approached the parents of the Iraqi and Iranian kids and offered them coffee and rolls that they had brought to the game, they were very grateful for that gesture, and I thought “only in America”.
I took my flag down this morning, it’s a replacement for the one that I hung first thing on Sept 11, 2001..that one flew until it got too ragged. I took the replacement down to clean it up a little and then it went back up.
It will fly until it too is ragged and faded then it will be replaced.
Too bad that people like Pelosi and Kennedy and the others can’t find good in this country. I saw the shining goodness of this nation in the NYPD and PAPD and FDNY and Pentagon rescuers, and the Flight 93 heroes on that morning. I see it in the ones who carry the battle to the cave dwellers and savages in the Middle East…Talk about greatness, When you say God Bless America, those people are the blessing that he has bestowed on this country. I’m grateful to them all.

I hope my American friends will forgive me for uttering the same…..NEVER forget….. NEVER forgive.
We as a country lost fewer lives than our southern neighbours but those of us with a heart and a mind feel exactly the same as you do and on this day shed tears with you and for you.
God Bless America and The Maple Leaf Forever.

Forgiven and forgotten in 2001, and we all let it happen, myself included. The difference between you and me and about 60 to 70% of the population is we flushed out the headgear and 30 to 35% of the holdouts can’t or won’t.
That last post and this one remind me that you holdouts are the Jonny Cochran’s of the blogosphere. The “piffle” you post is the intellectual equivalent of “If it does not fit, you must acquit!”
It fits. That dunce hat fits and there will be nothing to acquit and I think that what keeps some of you doing this is nothing more than vanity. You will look stupid at some point. It’s like the guy who refuses to go in for a prostate exam because, well, we all know why. The thing is, when your prostate swells up to the size of a small grapefruit and you can no longer take a piss, and the pain is unbearable, eventually you will go in to the doctor, or you will wait until it’s too late and die.
Here’s the thing, there is no way to look cool bending over that exam table with you pants down and your bum up in the air. Pick a cute chick for a doc and when she says, “drop ‘em and bend over.”, you can say, “Not without dinner and a movie first.” That’s as cool as you are ever going to look at this point in the game. Then again, if you ever gave up, I’d have to find me a new hobby.

Can’t say the same about the fuckwads that pass as our “Representatives” in Congress. If Osama is ever captured, I expect he’ll be invited to address that same Congress in full session. In Prime Time on C-SPAN no less.
I’m ashamed to be a US Citizen sometimes. But, where else could I go? In spite of all the race-baiting, partisan rabble-rousers, who else has a country nearly as great? Australia seems the closest, near as I can tell. They have moonbats there too, worse luck.
This country, the United States, is the last stop before Hell. And mankind’s last best hope for a real future. We really really need to get rid of the moonbat caucus though. These asswipes want to make sure they die, and us with them.

That rat Zarqawi actually praised “Allah” (not my God) publically for sending Hurricane Katrina to punish the USA. As a survivor of this disaster (40 miles from the eye), I would rather endure 1000 Katrinas than endure what lies in store for these Islamo-facists. Their time will surely come and when it does, not one of us will be disappointed. With each threat and attack, they will only bring this day closer. May all who lost their lives on 9-11 be avenged a thousand-fold. May God (not Allah) be praised.

I forgot to mention in my previous long winded post, Sept. 11 is also my sons birthday. He turned 15 on that day, and it took us as a family about 2 years to get him back on track about celebrating his birthday. Now that may sound awfully self-centered, given the scope of the tragedy of that day but EVERY kid deserves to have a birthday and celebrate it. We refused, as a family, to allow those cave dwellers to take that away from my boy. I’m still a little pissed about what happened to my kid, and I’m just as angry every 9/11 about what those primates did to my country.
Hey Joker,
I don’t appreciate your remarks, I don’t respect your opinions on this day….and I don’t respect you as a man. Walk a kid through something like 9/11 and try to convince him that there will be some normalcy back in his life. I did it at home, and I did it at the school where I teach, I served as a volunteer counselor for those kids for a full month….something in your tone tells me that you don’t have the balls to do it.
If that makes me one of your claimed 30% that don’t get it then so be it. Frankly, I don’t WANT to get it..there seems to be a pretty clear distinction between the good guys and the bad guys in this one. I invite you over to the side of the good guys, if you refuse…then I hope that you and your leftie “patriot” buddies are ground zero for the cave dwellers next attack..you all have earned that bullseye.
I have no patience for your nonsense today.

To be fair, I remember P.P saying that he’s pretty much abandoned The Political Puzzle due to work constraints.
If Don of “I’m not a liberal moonbat, I’m open-minded” and “Diebold stole the election for president Chimpy” fame is to be believed, he runs the show over there now blah, blah, etc.
Just an attempt to generate hits for what’s left of that blog…..
Speaking of which, I wouldn’t be surprised if our driveby troller calling itself “Private Joker” is actually Donica.
It’s the same blathering, incoherent prose that we’ve seen from that sanctimonious, pseudo-intellectual moonbat before but with a lot of “I dropped too much acid in the 60’s” twist.

BC,
I just remember that in one of my “insult-fests” with Donica er, Don, he honked that P.P. left him to run the Political Puzzle.
Given that it’s “Moonbat Don” making that claim, it could be utter bullshit.
On the other hand, seeing that The Political Puzzle has degenerated into a hive of drooling shrieking leftist moonbats does give credence to his claim…..
September 11th, 2005 at 10:33 pmUsing Internet Explorer 6.0 on Windows XP
Thanks Ron, the prose looked familiar and Don was the first moonbat to come to mind.
I liked Don at first, until he started directing his abrasiveness and general snottiness at “noncombatants” on this blog.
I could understand his snottiness with me because I continually laughed at and mocked his cherished conspiracy theories.
What pissed me off and put him in my permanent crosshairs was his tendency to respond to innocuous comments by LCs and lay in with unprovoked insults about redneck trailer trash, questioning their intelligence, etc.
It’d be ok if he did this to LCs like me who are known to be insulting and bombastic on occasion but he’d single out mild-mannered LCs and GLORs for his abuse.
That relegated him to “punkass” status in my book.
(Or it could be you’re more tolerant and patient in the face of moonbattedness then I am.)

Yes, the pingback came from my site, and I am surprised that there wasn’t one from Liberaltopia as well, since it was cross-posted there.
It is my site, and I will let anyone who wants to post there air their views. It isn’t whether I agree or disagree with what people say there, I just provide the platform. If anyone here wants to become an author there to make YOUR views known, let me know and I will open it up for you. The site has gone left then right then left again so many times that I have lost count.
No, Private Joker is NOT Don. Don is not a bad guy, just because you disagree with him. Heck, you disagree with me on just as many things. But there isn’t much space in the areas that we do disagree on, and I think that is what is being missed.
The gap between you and Private Joker (and his many aliases) is far wider. It is even wide between him and I.
Again, the ONLY reason it has “degenerated” towards that direction is mainly because there is no balancing force to swing it back again.
September 11th, 2005 at 11:25 pmUsing Internet Explorer 6.0 on Windows XP
I second that one.
The Puzzle was actually one of the first, if not THE first blog to open up to all comers, and I haven’t known PP to turn down anybody for posting privileges.
I thought and still think that that was a novel idea, and if I weren’t too busy with this site, I’d probably be posting there myself. I mean, think about the possibilities of getting into a verbal fight
Of course, as posters come and go, the Puzzle has swung back and forth, but that’s just the nature of the beast. If there’s anybody ready to pick up the gauntlet of pushing it the other way, I know for a fact that PP will be more than happy to set you up.

I was operating under the impression from past posts that P.P. had pretty much thrown in the towel on that blog and had abandoned it to the moonbats er, wolves.
Since it’s apparent that P.P. has retaken control of that blog and is striving to bring it back to its original intent, I apologize for my flippant characterization.
I suggest you “spread the word” in a similar fashion that was done when The Political Puzzle was first started to generate honest and civil debate from both sides.

Osama Six-Pack
The House yesterday passed an anodyne resolution commemorating the fourth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. It extended sympathy to the victims and survivors; honored the military, first responders, and others who helped; thanked foreign leaders for their support; declared that America is not waging war “on any people or any faith”; reaffirmed a commitment to the global war on terrorism; and vowed “never [to] forget the sacrifices made” on 9/11 or to “bow to terrorist demands.”
No one could disagree with that, right? Not quite. The House vote for the resolution was 402-6; here are the six far-left Democrats who voted “no”:

Muslim groups help Katrina victims on 9/11 anniversary
“Parvez Ahmed, chairman of the board of the nonprofit Council on American-Islamic Relations, said Muslim leaders viewed Sunday’s volunteer opportunity as another chance to show that the September 11 attacks were carried out by Islamic extremists who do not represent the true meaning of their faith.” - Read more
BIG MISTAKE! According to terrorism experts, CAIR is a terrorist front organization, no matter what anyone tells you. According to Islamic law, it is permitted to deceive the infidel, even to the point of claiming to be a Christian or even a Jew, or to marry a non-Moslem woman, if that is what it takes. This is why it is difficult to believe what so called “moderate Moslems” may say or do. CAIR has stated that their agenda is to conquer the world for Islam and establish Islamic law everywhere. They have been fooling everyone in the government and the media for way too long. They are a deceptive organization with a hidden agenda, and it ain’t the welfare of the United States, or freedom, that they have in mind..
We should accept no help from these people, but should, rather, deport every last one of them who are not U.S. citizens, and keep a damned close eye on the rest!
As far as I am concerned, this is an outrage, and any of the Katrina victims with any dignity left, will tell them to take their aid and stick it where the sun don’t shine.

Year by year, our national therapy culture is softening an act of war and mass murder and turning it into “Tragedy” like Katrina. We see no falling from the tower shots, no plane impacts, no dead and wounded public servant heroes lying exhausted in the streets covered with ash. Now we tie yellow ribbons and whine along with Oprah waiting for the “Grief Counselors’ to coax us into being masses of blubbering emoters knowing only “How do we feel about it”

My G-d, I started on this thread from the bottom…and just saw the picture that started the post. I gasped and now sit here with tears rolling down my cheeks. It still shocks me to see that. The brain is an amazing organ…it just won’t LET you do this to yourself too often, but it’s so important to see it on a regular basis, just to keep that righteous anger at a slow boil…it’s the only way we’re going to win.
I’m in the same boat Jaybear. My oldest turned 9 that day. I was icing his cupcakes to bring to school when I heard Warner Wolf call into Imus to say that he just saw a plane fly into the tower from his apartment. I delivered the news to school that morning that the first tower had fallen. The kids were all gathered in church, along with the sixth grade teacher whose husband died in that building. I know exactly how your family feels, b/c it took us a long time to really be able to celebrate again, but we’ve learned how to separate the pain from the joy I guess. Like all pain in life…you adapt b/c you have to, you move on b/c life won’t wait for you, but you never forget.

I love how the media and their liberal trolls and blogger Bolshiveks are trying to downplay 9/11.
Sure, they can hide the lack of the Twin Towers by cropping film angles on TV and at the theaters.
Sure, they can blame anyone but the terrorists, and say the US egged this on.
and of course, some vicious types like to make out the firefighters, cops, office workers, and flight passengers as cowards (hint- Ward Churchill, Michael Moore, and Ted Rall types)
However, they cannot erase what we saw that day. Cannot erase the footage of people jumping 100 floors rather than burn alive. Nor can they erase the fact that President Bush and Mayor Guiliani were superb leaders that day.
Try and erase the accrid odor at Ground Zero if you can, but that resonates as much as the stink of the liberal shit piles known as CNN and the New York Times.
Try and hide the fact that we lost 3000 that day, but it’s hard to tell a 20-something year old widow whose FF husband died getting people out of the towers. Or cover up the fact an old lady lost her husband on a flight.
“Earth cover not their blood….”- the book of Job.

I think PP’s characterization of the Freedom Walk as a ’silly walk’ is more evidence that the man has just lost it. I know that he is a fan of the empire, but showing support for our troops in this manner was anything but silly. I know because I was there, and it was being broadcast to those folks for whom it was intended, at over 170 military installations around the world.

Darn those trackbacks. I get blamed for too much.
Maybe I can put a little doohicky in here that would identify the trackbacks a little better.
I have the same type of disclaimer on my site as you see at the bottom of this page, where the views expressed here (and there) are those of the AUTHOR, and do not necessarily represent the views of the owner or the rest of the participants.
As Misha pointed out, I allow people of all stripes and spots to post their views as long as they aren’t illegal, seditious, or pornographic. I have had an open invitation to anyone here to shift the debate on that site and a few have responded in the past.
It has gotten a little nasty over there at times, and I’ve tried to keep it down to a low roar whenever possible. After the last election I left the site alone for a while and it has devolved into what you see now.
But if I can get some more authors from both sides to participate again, I will again be there to referree. I will appoint some moderators from both sides to keep the fights from breaking out.
I am after dialog not firepower, because I honestly think that the majority of people on both sides of the aisle are not that far apart in their basic ideology. We just get buried in the rhetoric and distracted from reality by the partisan slogans.

“President Bush doesn’t care about black people.”
“Bush Lied, People Died.”
“Worst economy since Herbert Hoover.”
“sElected, Not Elected.”
“Republicans have never done an honest day’s work in their entire lives.”
“Bush is a murderer!”
“Bush steered the hurricane towards New Orleans to kill poor blacks!”
Yeah. It’s pretty easy to get distracted by those and the million other “slogans” from The Party of Compassion & Tolerance™.

As opposed to staring at the peeling paint on the wall in that dump you call a “home?
I’m sure the last time you saw real furniture was when your mommy kicked you out of the house at age 26. Ever since, it’s been cinder block shelves, wirespool tables and milk crate chairs.
Unlike you, of course. You usually piss your pants because you’re too “wasted” to make it to the “Porta-Crapper” in the corner.
Er, I think you were watching that underground porn film, “Shoeless Joe Stalin gets ‘busy’ cause he can’t get a date“.
You really need some rehab, good buddy.
But you can do it, what the f**k do you think you’ve been watching? You’d recognize yourself if you weren’t so blasted all the time, jackass.
Hell, given the content of your posts, it appears you do it while you type your inane drivel.
Too be fair though, Rove’s flying monkeys didn’t position the “sooper sekret” Halliburton spy cams in your cardboard hut in the best of spots.
All I can see on the monitor is you hunched over while you type out your idiocy.
For all I know you’ve got your head firmly planted up your ass.
Then again, that would explain everything……

Notice that you only chose the examples from the left? There are just as many coming from the right. Does it make any of it right? No.
This is exactly what I am talking about. BOTH side do it, and we need to get away from it. The problem is, nobody seems to want to go first.

E Man, he’s proudly inspecting the new “Easy Pass” double wide colon toll booth he just had installed. He’s now ready for all the traffic he thinks he will be getting.
Like I’ve said before about moonbats, Stanley Tools don’t make a pry bar long enough or strong enough to free that boy’s head from the Ass Cheek Grip O’Death.

There is not much to say 4 years after 9/11/01.
We have shed so many tears for so many victims that were someone else’s child, parent, friend, lover.
Which leads me to quote something from “Lamb of God” about vengence…
As we are wounded and still living, we shall punish those who trespass against us and those who aid the trespassers. Whether or not they beg for mercy or forgiveness, they shall fall under our swords, for they shall be made examples as a result of their blind, homicidal folly. A warning to others shall be written with the blood of the murderers while their remains shall be held high as a reminder of our resolve.
Our Complacency = Our Death.
Never forgive. Never forget.
Yankee Two Delta
(Sorry for the apocalyptic, un-Xtian meanderings, eh? 9/11 was and still is a surreal tragedy.)
