Imperial Chief of Naval Ops Hits the Big Time

Time to give mad props to The Imperial Chief of Naval Ops whose excellent day-by-day Rita coverage from the Gulf Coast of Texas caught the eyeballs of CNN and prompted them to put his site on the air for a bit today.

So pop by and congratulate him and pray for him, his boat and his fellow citizens down there as Rita moves closer.

Oh, and if any of you should happen to have a screen grab of the CNN spot, I just know that he’d be most appreciative if you’d pass it on.

    Anyone else been humming, “Lovely Rita Meter Maid” the last couple of days?

    I caught myself doing just that, actually, until I remembered how I’d been humming “Walking on Sunshine” in the week up to the landfall of Katrina.

    Call me superstitious, but that was the end of my humming :-)
