They Love Us! They Really, Really Love Us!

LC Nick informs us that the Almighty Loseweek Newsweek has cast its benevolent glance upon our humble Empire:
Angered by the Supreme Court’s decision in Hamdan v. Rumsfeld, prominent right-wing blogger nicedoggie.net calls for “Five ropes, five robes, five trees. Some assembly required.” Classy.
“Prominent.”
“Classy.”
Why, thank you. Thank you ver’much.
If you like that one, you ought to be positively thrilled to hear what we have to say about journalists. We hear it’s quite a hit. Trend-setting, even.
Also, a big Imperial shoutout to Glenn Greenwad, “Ellison”, “Wilson”, “Thomas Ellers”, “Ryan” and all of the other positively fabulous voices in his head. We couldn’t have done it without you.
No, really, we couldn’t.

Newsweek. I wouldn’t use their rag to wipe my dog’s ass.
It has something to do with redundancy, after all.
July 21st, 2006 at 6:22 pmAn American Fatwah! You’ve arrived.
July 21st, 2006 at 6:26 pmNewsweek shows up in our office every week and i’m always stunned by the liberal bias.. Current issue has a photo of a dead lebanese child, with really nothing to offset or balance it.
Congratulations, Sire! I’d drink to that, but I’m already hung over.
July 21st, 2006 at 6:26 pmCongratulations! You’re famous now.
July 21st, 2006 at 6:31 pmKool…….
July 21st, 2006 at 6:33 pmNow, if you can scam them into burning an effigy of you, then ya know ya got something.
July 21st, 2006 at 6:51 pmCongrats! … ?
I’d be curious if you get any Loseweek readers clicking through.
I was linked on Slate.com once and I think I got eight hits on the linked article… Either Slate doesn’t actually have any readers or they weren’t interested in the conservative point of view. Maybe Slate is just a propaganda device for Soros? (-;
July 21st, 2006 at 6:53 pmYer Majesty, ya made the big time!
(i’m so proud, i’m gonna cry)
July 21st, 2006 at 6:55 pmHey, Emperor:
Two fingers of the finest single malt and a Great Lakes Porter are being hoisted in your honor even as we speak.
Wish you were here.
July 21st, 2006 at 6:58 pmCool! And I get to say I commented here before you were famous!
July 21st, 2006 at 7:08 pmNewsweak? Are you on the cover? Smile pretty!
July 21st, 2006 at 7:12 pmI’d offer my congratulations, but who really gives a rat’s ass what those people write? Do you really believe they would write about some incredibly insipid professor that declared a need for raping a child?
They must print that fishwrap on hemp.
July 21st, 2006 at 7:28 pmWoody,
Thats funny. I was linked in a San Antonio paper and got about 1600 hits.
Next thing you know the Al Qaeda Times will be denouncing you. Keep it up eventually you will get that fartwa.
July 21st, 2006 at 8:13 pmWay to go, sire! In the big leagues…and as was said once…”Give ‘em hell, Harry…or Misha!” You will be backed by your loyal subjects, of that no doubt remains. And besides, I GREATLY enjoy their growing consternation……
July 21st, 2006 at 8:18 pmAngered by prominent right-wing blogger nicedoggie.net, Newsweek whines about someone having the stones to suggest the Supremes be held accountable. Pussies.
July 21st, 2006 at 9:04 pmNo kidding… there are MANY of them who claim the “police state” is getting worse and worse and that the “future of the country” is at stake.
Well… they might right about that second point. If they aren’t COMPLETELY defeated they probably will destroy the country within a decade or two… or maybe less.

July 21st, 2006 at 9:06 pmCongrats the Rott is Infamous and liberals will froth at the mouth- How dare somneone expects the SCOTUS be held accountable. Especally in wartime.
July 22nd, 2006 at 12:06 amPoke those pigs some more. They squeal with such self-righteous indignation when their new-world-order-arranging branch of government is shown to be naked under those simple black Pradas. The Supremes are already quoting international laws in reaching their decisions regarding The U.S. Constitution. What’s next, Sharia law gutting The Amendments one at a time?
July 22nd, 2006 at 1:09 amnewsweak stopped pretending to be fair and objective right after the ‘04 elections. Come to think of it, they stopped after kerry got the nomination.
July 22nd, 2006 at 4:41 amSo good to see you wreaking havoc in Loony World!
Next phase of your evil plan, get the NY Slimes to denounce you.
All Hail Darth Misha of Rotti!
He makes the liberal media get snotty.
It’s really a pity
That Newsweek got all shitty
I wouldn’t use it to wipe myself in the potty.
All Hail Darth Misha of Rotti!
July 22nd, 2006 at 7:55 amMakes the liberals’ guts get all knotty.
Debbie Schushjob is hissin’
And Greenwad is pissin’
But it’s morning and I need a latte…
newsbleak actually stopped being fair around 1967.
But why quibble.
July 22nd, 2006 at 9:04 amOk, considering I have not been around that long. I noticed in 2004.
July 22nd, 2006 at 9:40 amI had a one year subscription to Newsweak back in the late 1980s, and needless to say, I did not renew it. I didn’t think anyone could be more biased, let alone just plain uninformative, than “Time”. Until I started getting Newsweak.
Indeed, after the first half dozen or or issues, I’d had enough and they all went straight into the trash, along with the rest of the junk mail.
One thing I find hugely amusing about this case (their comment about His Rottieness) is that Newsweak and the rest of the LSM has no problem with hyperbole at all…as long as the target is conservative. But let someone on the right indulge in it, and it’s “OMG, he’s threatening bodily harm to (fill in the blank with the name of your leftist dimbulb of choice). Oh, the HUMANITY!”.
Hypocrisy, thy name is Newsweak…:)
July 22nd, 2006 at 11:44 amGreat news - this means that the MSM is starting to pay attention to their own irrelevance - and that the vast majority of Americans don’t CARE what they think (assuming any thinking takes place there, which doesn’t!), and even MORE important, can no longer INFLUENCE peoples’ thinking the way they used to anymore!
All hail the blogosphere!
Land of the Free, Home of the Brave.
July 22nd, 2006 at 2:14 pmsig94…you are a damn good poet…….the Imperial Bard…now that is a a thought……perhaps Misha would be interested…….?
July 22nd, 2006 at 3:38 pmIn total we seem a strange lot to the moonbats….I buy my wife a nice new gun and an NRA membership for her fiftieth birthday, now home here in my safe with box of hollow points….moonbats don’t like that, say rude things to us…but you folks understand perfectly…and now to smile…for I can think of No one more qualified to take these turkeys apart than our beloved Emperor……..I’m still tryin’ to get the radio show……
This is great, and I echo everone’s sentiments here, really his Rottiness says what most Americans feel but can’t voice or we feel frustrated by ass kissing new world order pols. They are too scared to even think this way,let alone act on it.Thank you sire for giving voice to our concerns.
July 23rd, 2006 at 2:19 amEver wonder what Loose’N'Weak or Time would say about the KosTard’s infamous “Screw them” commentary regarding the horrible fates of the four US security contractors in Fallujah? Wonder no more.
(Warning: Make damned sure that your stomach is completely empty before reading that slobbering brown starfish tongue bath.)
Not to worry, Mein Imperator. Anytime some hand-wringing, colonspelunking LefTard accuses us of being hateful for “Rope. Tree. (Insert Leftist here.) Some assembly required.”, all we have to say is “Sorry ’bout that, mate, but it’s merely our Intemperate Trademark™. Oh, and by the way, Markos Mewling Zuniga is such a pussy that Tampax® uses him as a template for their blood plugs.”
July 23rd, 2006 at 8:56 pmHoly crap, B.C.!
If they’d crawled any further up “Screw ‘Em’s” ass, they have to shove his liver out of the way to make room.
