Reuters admits altering Beirut photo Reuters withdraws photograph of Beirut after Air Force attack after US blogs, photographers point out ‘blatant evidence of manipulation.’ Reuters’ head of PR says in response, ‘Reuters has suspended photographer until investigations are completed into changes made to photograph.’ Photographer who sent altered image is same Reuters photographer behind many of images from Qana, which have also been subject of suspicions for being staged.
The Pajamujahideen strike another blow against the blatant manipulation of the news by the Leftist Lamestream Midiots™.
At least Al-Reuters admitted the fakery, which gives them a tad bit more credibility than See-BS® and Gunga Dan “What’s the Frequency, Kenneth?” Blather.

Notice how the article focuses more on how a picture can be shopped then the real issue of dishonest intentions.

I have sophomores in my Photoshop classes that do better work than that…..
Hey, I teach computer graphics…both 2D and 3D graphics, this image was altered using what’s called the clone tool in Photoshop. What that allows you to do is to paint on a picture using a targeted piece of your image as your brush color. so you are essentially painting an image on your image.
The first rule in clone painting is to AVOID areas of patterning, and don’t drag your brush. Use spot painting…find an area of your image where you want the pattern, click once to lay that piece of the pattern in….target another area of your image…and then go click again to lay THAT pattern next to the previous one. That’s how you avoid the patterning so evident in this one.
What I find particularly bad here is how quickly our media and the world media eat this stuff up as the Gods truth. Seems that the hezballscratchers could give the media stick drawings of bombing victims and the media would buy it as the real thing….what a bunch of traitorous dupes.
anyway, here’s a quick example that I did using the same picture. Took me all of 10 minutes. It’s laid in next to the original so you can see the difference
It’s really not that hard to do.

I about fell out of my chair when I saw this POS. Oh, well, give me amateur hour disinformation over the industrial grade stuff any day. Al-Reuters stars in the movie “Deliverance”, bent over a log, squeals like a pig. BWAA, HAAA, HAAA….!
