Changing gears to domestic issues here for a while.
A BIG issue, mind you.
In case you’ve forgotten what McCain-Feingold is all about, here’s a reminder: For two months up until the ‘06 election, political ads and agitation will be off-limits. That’s right. One month from now, Traitor McCain and Russ Swinegold’s Bill will suspend your First Amendment Rights.
If you choose to comply, that is, which His Imperial Majesty won’t.
Nor will the Imperial Firearms Advisor.
The First Amendment means what it says, and if the Federal Gummint wishes to sue us for exercising our rights, then go right ahead. The Second Amendment means what it says too, in case you’ve forgotten.
As to you, Traitor McCain: Of all of the U.S. servicemen and women who have found themselves in foreign captivity, YOU had to be the one to survive?
That’s almost enough to turn His Majesty into an atheist.
We can’t help but wonder how many Viet Cong dicks you had to suck to get out of that predicament. Did you swallow? How did Ho Chi Minh’s man meat taste?
Screw McCain/Feingold, and screw the traitors who support it.
“Against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”
We mean it.
And, in case it even needs pointing out, this is a BI-PARTISAN issue. The First Amendment does not distinguish between Left and Right, so we herewith pledge allegiance to any Lefty bloggers joining this campaign as well. If they come after YOU, they come after US as well. We will stand together against this un-Constitutional act of High Treason or we will hang separately. Political differences are completely irrelevant here.
If you’re taken down, we’ll go down with you. If you’re attacked by the fascists in government, we’ll stand by you. We may hate your guts, but we will defend to the death your right to have an opinion and express it openly and freely.
When Donald Luskin, in a moment of blatant asshattery and Idiotarianism, went after Atrios with a SLAPP suit because Atrios had quoted Krugman, without adding any opinion of his own, claiming that Luskin was “stalking” him, I stood by Atrios. Not because Atrios and I agree on much of anything, but because Atrios was merely exercising his rights as an American citizen. I’ll do it again.
The Bill of Rights is for all of us. Not just people we agree with. Any drooling idiot can defend people he agrees with.
Your fight is our fight, left or right.
Join us. Join us, conservatives, liberals, progressives, libertarians and whatever else your political affiliation may be.
THIS. WILL. NOT. STAND.
The right to refuse ads for individual candidates incompatible with the Imperial POV reserved, of course.

August 9th, 2006 at 6:14 pmI know. The fucking gooks killed 50,000 of ours, and they left that festering, parasitical boil on the nutsack of humanity alive?
It’s a good thing I already hate the VC, because if I hadn’t, I’d have to start hating them now for fucking up an easy job.
August 9th, 2006 at 6:42 pmFirst & foremost Screw McCain and Screw Feingold…
Their assult (at least the instigated it and the rest of the fools in both Houses followed them may they all roast & rot in hell!) on the 1st amendment was real favor to what passes for the news media in this country…
I for instance will have to wonder how a rag like this: New York Times Blames Technology Not Bias for Fake Photos will not fall under the, “it will be almost impossible for grassroots groups to advertise against it, because they won’t be able to run ads during this period naming the people who are sponsoring or voting on the bills. Criticizing them by name during this window is against the law” also…
It won’t as we know…
What about the leftie/liberal parasites the WaPo, the New York Times, and so forth that are foisted off as opinion writers or editorialists? Will they be covered by this law?
August 9th, 2006 at 7:04 pmWell said and well done, Misha….neither left or right, ALL of us remain in danger…….
August 9th, 2006 at 8:19 pmLC & IB Woody reporting for duty. Count me in. My blogspace is your blogspace. May I have permission to use your graphic to solicit said political speech?
August 9th, 2006 at 8:32 pmFuck McCain AND Feingold. Twice.
August 9th, 2006 at 8:36 pmWell, it’s not my graphic, it’s the Imperial Firearms Advisor’s and he has quite a few more of them, and he says you can.
Welcome aboard. The more we are, the busier the fascist McCainiacs are going to be if they want to lock us all up.

Woody- the graphic beongs to Kim DuToit, and he gave permission to use it for this fight.
August 9th, 2006 at 8:40 pmWhoops- sorry, Sire. Didn’t mean to step on toes…
August 9th, 2006 at 8:41 pmHere’s a graphic I’ve not seen before but it express my sentiments perfectly (as seen on American Diva):

August 9th, 2006 at 9:45 pmI stand with Darth Misha.
August 9th, 2006 at 9:45 pmBreak the law to save the Constitution…
McCain-Feingold, that blatant violation of the First Amendment, makes it illegal to criticize a Congressman in an ad within 60 days of an election.
What to do? Civil disobedience, of course!…
August 9th, 2006 at 9:52 pmIm with you m,Lord……….. Give em HELL !!
August 9th, 2006 at 10:09 pmNeither, little Dickie Durbin “The Turbinator”, nor Osama…er, Oblama…um, I’mBlack (but no longer Muslim) Obama, are up for re-election here in Illinois.
August 9th, 2006 at 11:38 pmPlease continue all critique, caustic commenting and revealations of their scullduggery.
Just how do they plan to enforce their rule? Hah! Up theirs…with a chainsaw!
August 10th, 2006 at 3:43 amI’ve seen the claim (from the Club For Growth, I think) that McCanker is violating his & Swinegilt’s own law!
August 10th, 2006 at 4:10 am[…] And a thanks to the Anti-iIdiotarian Rottweiler for the heads up. […]
August 10th, 2006 at 4:17 amI like this one too, though I don’t recall which link off the Rott it came from.

August 10th, 2006 at 5:04 amPaska! After all the frustrating trouble I went thru 2 post the thing so I could insert the animated gif, it didn’t work! Too bad we can’t upload straight from our machines here.
August 10th, 2006 at 5:10 amHow about this?
August 10th, 2006 at 5:24 amWell it works now.
August 10th, 2006 at 5:25 amWaa? Well it did work!

I hereby announce my decision to stand together against this travesty of freedom. Free Speech can and will be spoke here.
……
August 10th, 2006 at 8:38 amScrew McLame and Swinegilt with a rusty pogo stick!!!
I have no blog but I will contribute to the defense fund of any conservative blogger who is persecuted by the facisti.
Sorry, but I can’t help the Enemy no matter the niceties of “we’re all in this together.” Those bastards generally approve of government control of everything unless it gores their particular ox. They are entitled to sell out the country all they want, for now, but I won’t help them do it. Fuck them too. If they do get hit it might teach ‘em a lesson.
August 10th, 2006 at 9:10 amI have to agree with you Jon. Once the commie fools are soundly defeated then we can have two sides. Until then we have a weird mix of really crazy people on one side and outright evil on the other. I know which side I support, even if I have to hold my nose while I do it.

August 10th, 2006 at 9:32 amNot For Me Nope…
I have NO intention of NOT speaking out and they can kiss my ass! I stand on the First Amendment!
August 10th, 2006 at 11:14 am…
Thank you Misha, I stand with you too on this.
August 10th, 2006 at 11:14 amThanks, all.
In case I wasn’t clear about it (I often am not
), you can get your buttons and banners at the Imperial Firearms Advisor’s, whose idea it was to begin with.
Let’s all close ranks and show the pissants in DC that if they want to mess with our First Amendment and throw us in jail for exercising it, they’re going to be REALLY busy.
August 10th, 2006 at 11:19 amOOH, ouch! ROFLMAO, Princess Natasha. Up theirs with a cooked ham and then pull the bone out - a recore for these two worn out old whores.
August 10th, 2006 at 4:28 pm[…] Misha: The First Amendment means what it says, and if the Federal Gummint wishes to sue us for exercising our rights, then go right ahead. The Second Amendment means what it says too, in case you’ve forgotten. […]
August 11th, 2006 at 7:25 amSeriously, and severely. I’m there with you. I will stand beside you, study you, and pass on any and all info I get from you. The people I work with already know my hard right attitude, and it will be wonderful to have the source references to guide them to. I pass all of the sites I visit to all of my friends and co-workers. If they see enough they’ll pass it along as well. Now, back to the punishment for treason during time of war….
August 11th, 2006 at 9:50 amHold the Mayo left the following comment at my site last year and I think that it’s worth repeating:
It’s go time for we the people against our would-be rulers. Fuck ‘em.
August 11th, 2006 at 11:49 am[…] Thanks the Misha. […]
August 11th, 2006 at 5:09 pmMFers Tea Party…
This post is called MFer’s Tea Party, (McCain-Feingolders, of course) and it’s about a couple of MFer’s, and a Tea Party, but MFer’s Tea Party is not the name of the Tea Party, that’s just the name of the post, and that&#…
September 2nd, 2006 at 6:00 am[…] I ran across a post on Tom Rants this morning about how the McCain-Feingold act will make it illegal for the average person to blog their opinions about political candidates. After some extensive web searching, I’m going to have to disagree with him on this issue. My searches today ended up with me on the FEC’s website looking up the definitive answers to this potential issue. What I found is that the campaign finance reform legislation does NOT apply to most bloggers out there. The only activities that would be covered and regulated by the FEC are paid ads that appear on another person’s website. […]
September 2nd, 2006 at 7:04 pmCIVIL DISOBEDIENCE…
The Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiller has an interesting offer to counter the unconstitutional, corrupt McCain-Feingold free speech crushing act. What as this act and why does it matter now? Here’s how an editorial in the Examiner puts it:
September 5th, 2006 at 10:33 am…
I am mortally ashamed that this gaseous bag of wind was in the US Navy at the same time I was. If ever there was a bigger disgrace and insult to the honorable bluejacket it is this despicable waste of skin.
September 5th, 2006 at 10:58 amYou have my unending support and my unwavering belief in the rightness of this cause, and my guarantee that I ready and willing to back it up with armed force as required.
Thank you,
