The End of the West

I am now going to direct you to two posts put up by Imperial Paladin Banagor that you have to read and that you’ll hate having read when you’re done.

Depressing stuff made even more depressing by the fact that it’s all true.
The lights are about to go out, and we’ll do nothing to stop it. We’ve thrown out history, refusing to learn from it because it doesn’t fit with the la-la fantasy world that we’ve spent four decades creating for ourselves.
We’ve lost the will and ability to fight because of willful ignorance and, like all such idiots who went before us, we will reap the just rewards for it. It’s just a matter of time now. Five years now since 9/11 and we have learned nothing. Five years now and we are as ignorant of the real world in which we live and the true face of our enemy as we were on 9/10. We’ve neutered ourselves with our political correctness and refusal to do what needs to be done because it isn’t “nice.”
We’ve deluded ourselves into thinking that there can be peace without a victory, that thousands of years of the history of warfare are irrelevant, that we somehow know better than every single soul that ever went to war before us, that we are the very pinnacle of human development, the Chosen Ones who hold the secret to everything.
When, in fact, we are like infants crawling around among a pack of starving wolves, thinking that if we somehow goo-goo and ga-ga with sufficient baby cuteness at them they’ll leave us alone.
There is not a single thing about our pathetic “fighting” of this war that suggests to me that any of that is going to change either.
We simply refuse to accept the fact that, although the men who fight them and the tools they use do, wars never change. And, more importantly, nor does the way you win them, and you don’t win them by refusing to fight with all the strength at your disposal, for as long as it takes and until the enemy is broken and begging for mercy at your feet.
Nobody ever did, and nobody ever will.
Including us.
Which is why we, barring a miracle that I don’t see coming, are going to lose this one.
And we deserve it too.

Ralph Peters has a new collection of essays out, “Never Quit the Fight,” and in one of the essays Peters suggested that a hypothetical future enemy of America wouldn’t need to defeat America itself to win…
…the enemy would only have to convince the blue-staters, or even just our political and media elites, that we couldn’t win the fight. Peters argued that, given the rise and influence of our media culture, convincing just “two hundred people in Washington, DC” that a fight was unwinnable would be enough.
Next payday…I’m definitely going back to the bookstore.

Only when we’ve shown the enemy that we will no longer abide traitors and fifth columnists in our midst will they take us seriously. It’s simply a matter of showing them that we are possessed of a greater will than they.

Y’see, genius will always have it’s limits.
To assume we can lead them to rationale, we must assume that there’s a viable intellect to appeal to.

August 21st, 2006 at 10:35 pmIt is an obstacle, to be sure, but it’s no excuse for the inactivity and weak-kneed behavior exhibited by an Administration in control of both the House and the Senate.
We don’t have time to fiddle around with building a super-majority or trying to convince the irrational among us of the existence of reality.
When you’re a leader, you’re supposed to lead, no matter how many unfavorable editorials you might get in the New York Slimes and no matter how many hateful speeches the opposition will be giving in Congress. As a leader, YOU don’t matter. A leader who fails to understand that very simple leadership principle, who thinks that effectiveness is measured by popularity and that opinion is more important than your job and the success of your mission, is not a leader at all.
He’s a narcissistic fool at best and a danger to his country at worst.
August 21st, 2006 at 11:10 pmWhile Banagor is certainly right on several counts, the demographics of Islamic immigration and pussification of the west being the two most important, I still think there’s one thing he’s not counting on.
The forces of Islam will grow overconfident at some point and overreach. Push too far. It might be in the form of the ecological disaster of rapidly disassociating atoms, or a mass killing of gays, but they will find the one thing that makes the lefties think (exageration for dramatic effect, work with me), “Holy shit, those fuckers want to kill _ME_ too!”
Even though we tend to regard anything that happens before we’re born as ancient history and therefore irrelevent, a good example would be how fast the CP-USA turned from anti-war to pro-war once Hitler attacked the Soviet Union. Damn near gave the proles whiplash with that one.
Of course, if Banagor’s right and I’m wrong, we’re well and truly fucked. Die on your feet or die on your knees.

Because if the Islamofascists choose to sit back and twiddle their thumbs while we continue to destroy ourselves instead, then we’re done for.
Eurabia, going by current and historical trends, is only a few decades away and, for a “religion” that has spent 1,300 years trying to eradicate us all and establish a global Caliphate, that’s not all that long.
Particularly considering that, if they play their cards right, they won’t have to do any actual fighting. Our ignorance of history, our narcissism and addiction to creature comforts, our spinelessness, the useful idiots in our midst and the lazy, indulgent fantasy world that we’ve created will do all their work for them. All they really have to do is to sit back and enjoy the show.
I’ve talked a lot with Native Americans about how they lost America (mainly because of innate Caucasian guilt on my part, I think) and they’ve almost all, to a man, stated quite clearly that they bore no ill will toward us. They didn’t celebrate their fall from power, most certainly not, but they accepted is as the way things work. The weak lose to the strong.
I’m beginning to understand how they must have felt watching their way of life losing out to a stronger, more capable enemy.
The main difference being, of course, that they didn’t give up without a fight.
We, to our eternal shame, are doing just that.
August 22nd, 2006 at 2:50 amLiving here in the great Kingdum of Daley™®, I have found many of my fellow Americans saying just that, but in a differant manner. Chicago is without question one of the top segregated and enclaved grouping of communities in all of America. Before 9/11, I have never seen or heard so many ethnic fellow urbanites go beyond polite in public. What I mean is, since 9/11, I have had many people casually share quite personal information, that I would not have been privy to, at very public settings. They turn and share their thoughts as if we’d known each other for years.

August 22nd, 2006 at 5:47 amSo, I read posts like this, and comments, and nod my head thinking “He/She/It is soooo very right on target. . . ” And I read the commentary, and continue nodding, grinding my teeth and storming heaven with prayer. But I also think something, something I’d like to ask all of you, because I value all your input.
If we all agree to the above (that is, “we’re screwed”), what can we do? Anything? Furiously type away at keyboard begging that somewhere the morons wake the hell up? Write our congress people? Somehow, this doesn’t seem to be enough, but I’ll be damned if I just sit back and let things happen. I’ve been having way too many nightmares recently about being forced to marry Muslim (in a beautiful, emerald green veil, begging the older women to kill me), and though I don’t think things will happen exactly as in my dream. . .
I think we’re all familiar with the subject matter now. I know I’ve been talking to the people I know, and been getting very interesting (and positive!) results. But from here, where? We’re all writing and talking, but there needs to be something more. I just don’t know what that something is. Any ideas?
August 22nd, 2006 at 11:18 amIt isn’t the end yet. Make no mistake, I’m mystified and supremely pissed off that we continue to allow these savages to change our way of life, and that so many in our society are too chickenshiite to do anything about it. However, in the end we will win.
Unfortunately, my long term optimism is offset by the knowledge that the appeasers, the moonbats, the left-wing nuts (but I repeat myself) have so put us to sleep that it will probably take a nuclear firecracker shoved far up our collective rectum to make us take off the blinders, rub our eyes and realize that someone just hit us in the back of the head with a 2×4. Then the fit will hit the shan - in the Arab world. We’ll mobilize and send invading armies to crush them, not caring much about civilian casualties along the way, but not before we remove several of their cities from the surface of the planet.
Our victory is assured in the long run, but there are 2 unresolved questions: 1) How many dead on our side will it take to wake us up? and 2) Will the Chinese, Russians, Venezuelens, North Koreans and similar nations use our misfortune and take advantage of our being distracted to make trouble elsewhere?

I’m not giving up, I’m not about to give up unless I lose vital signs, but that doesn’t change the fact that our Administration and our society as a whole, indeed all of the West, have.
I’ll never live on my knees, I’ll die on my feet instead, but that doesn’t change the fact that Western Civilization has lost its backbone and has turned into the effete, limp, fat, timid mess that characterized the end of the Roman Empire as well.
I’m not saying that I give up, because I never will, I’m just looking around me and describing what I see. A society that, speaking about the majority, has committed suicide, morally and spiritually, a society of wankers in love with themselves and their creature comforts that, unless they shape up PDQ, quite frankly aren’t worth saving the DNA of.
And I don’t see any signs of shaping up going on, quite to the contrary. A nation that gets paralyzed by self-flagellation as a result of images of a bunch of murderers with panties on their heads, a nation that engages in endless debate about the propriety of using even a fraction of our arsenal against an enemy who would happily, who HAS happily massacred our women and children without a second thought, a nation whose intellectuals on BOTH sides of the political aisle can’t quite find it in themselves to call the enemy by its name for fear that we might hurt our enemies’ feelings…
The list goes on. Patton would’ve fucking pissed, puked and shat on the whole sorry lot of us if he’d been around to do so but, mercifully, he didn’t have to live long enough to see the nation he loved, the nation that ONCE had a backbone, commit cultural suicide.
Obviously there are exceptions to the rule. Pretty much all of us HERE, for instance.
But that doesn’t amount to a hill of beans in a nation full of pussified girly-men who were castrated before they were born.
But I’ll fight, as I know that the rest of y’all will. We’ll fight because it’s the only thing we CAN do, because the alternative, to crawl before the new Islamofascist masters that everybody else is busy surrendering to, is just too fucking appalling to even contemplate. We’d die, and die happily before we’d sink that low.
As a matter of fact, as I fade away after having taken as many of the ragheaded swine with me as possible, I’ll have the biggest damn grin on my face you can imagine, knowing that I WON’T be around to watch the Hell that the liberals and all of their spineless RINO enablers have allowed to invade our shores and take over.
Because they were too fucking queasy at the thought of fighting to get on with it.
I hope they suffer. I know they will, I just hope that their new masters will be extra super double probation sadistic about it.
It would serve the gottdamm weak-kneed pansies right.
I’ll be in Heaven with the rest of you warriors, getting the sword and armor ready for round 2.
I’m not surrendering, because I don’t know how to, I’m just describing the world around me.
