Token pandering 1/3 of a Fence Bill passes just prior to midterms. Guess who voted against?

Detainee Bill allowing us to fight the war without reading Miranda Rights to terrorists, abolishing intelligence gathering and providing al-Qaeda with access to classified documents passes too. Guess who voted against?

John Bolton unlikely to receive floor confirmation vote prior to recess, because of bureaucratic hold-up. Guess who the hold-up is?

Now, all of you “moderate” conservatives, PLEASE tell me again how inappropriate it is to say “they shot the wrong Lincoln.”

Oh, and as to the RNC who sunk to almost Kos-like depths to defend that fat sack of RINO shit’s seat from Laffey:

Not one dime.

Not now.

Not EVER.

Fucktards.

Off topic I know, but here’s something to restore -some- of your faith in humanity.

Well sire, I think Vicente Fox confused Chaffee: Mexican President Vicente Fox called it “shameful” and compared it to the Berlin Wall, which divided Germany… :dunce_tb:

Now I’ve seen everything. Even my senators, Feinstein and Boxer, voted FOR the fence. And some republicans didn’t? I need some more meds, gawd! The whole damn worlds turning upside down. And Chaff ass playing his silly-assed power games holding up Bolton. Fucker, I hope the demos kick yer ass out in time.

Oh yeah, we sure are cultural and politically united with the mexicans. stupid fuck. The reason for the Berlin wall was to keep East Germans in while ours is to keep mexicans out.

Mine, as usual, voted against it.

It’s inappropriate. There, how’s that? Should I have put it in bold? ;)

Good. Now you win the followup question: WHY is it inappropriate? Is it because shooting wouldn’t involve a sufficient amount of pain? We USED to shoot traitors, you know :smile_wp:

A “moderate” conservative is exactly the same thing as a “moderate” muslim. A fool who refuses to see he’s compromising with and condoning outright evil.

Don’t get me wrong, there is plenty of room for compromise on a LOT of items. But not with commies or terrorists. Not one inch.

I guess I have a different definition of what a traitor to one’s political party is, and there’s where the problem lies.

Granted, the specificities of the detainee bill are pretty stupid, if you ask me - it was a completely unnecessary law, but I suppose it’s better than getting shot down by SCOTUS.

I don’t know. Consistently and without fail voting with the other party would seem to fit any definition I can come up with. I mean, couldn’t he at least be honest and run as a Democrat when that’s obviously what he is?

Not that his betrayal of the party is what I was really referring to. The party get what they deserve by supporting a backstabbing swine like him.

No, what really ticks me off is his betrayal of the country.

And yes, providing aid and comfort to an enemy of the United States during times of war is treason, even if he, being a braindead trust fund kiddy with no other qualifications than the penis he spurted from, doesn’t grasp the concept.

I agree. It’s pathetic that we should even have to pass a Bill like that to make sure our armed forces can fight a war.

What’s even more pathetic is that we have fifth columnists working within our borders like Lincoln Chafee, fifth columnists with the endorsement and support of the President.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that his voting against the bill doesn’t mean he’s a traitor. He’s been pretty consistent in voting against what people might consider the party line on terrorism, the war, and the detainees in U.S. custody, so he might be a RINO and a scumbag, but to be a traitor would require more extreme action along the lines of what McDermott did right before the Iraq War (i.e. visit Saddam). I suppose I’m taking the definitions of “traitor” and “treason” here too literally, but that’s my two cents.
