Can’t be questioning their patriotism or sanity, can we?

MILWAUKEE (AP) — A university instructor who came under scrutiny for arguing that the U.S. government orchestrated the Sept. 11 attacks likens President Bush to Adolf Hitler in an essay his students are being required to buy for his course.

The essay by Kevin Barrett, “Interpreting the Unspeakable: The Myth of 9/11,” is part of a $20 book of essays by 15 authors, according to an unedited copy first obtained by WKOW-TV in Madison and later by The Associated Press. (More on the “unedited copy” later—B.)

The book’s title is “9/11 and American Empire: Muslims, Jews, and Christians Speak Out.” It is on the syllabus for Barrett’s course at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, “Islam: Religion and Culture,” but only three of the essays are required reading, not including Barrett’s essay.

Hmmmmmmmm…. We’re wondering if any of these required “essays” have anything critical to say of Professor Braindead’s steaming heap of pig semen & manure posing as a legitimate “theory”?

Barrett, a part-time instructor who holds a doctorate in African languages and literature and folklore from UW-Madison,…

That, and a $1.59, will get you a large cup of coffee at the neighborhood Circle K.

…is active in a group called Scholars for 9/11 Truth. …

And that will get you laughed out of said Circle K and, most likely, the shit kicked out of you if you mentioned it to a US miltitary veteran, fire fighter or cop… :lol_tb:

…The group’s members say U.S. officials, not al-Qaida terrorists, were behind the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001.

The group also believes that pixie dust and peyote buttons are gifts left behind for humanity by the Zorglodaxian transvestite demi-gods from Planet Smegmalabia.

“Like Bush and the neocons Those Damned Joooos! (Go ahead, Barret, you can say it.—B.), Hitler and the Nazis inaugurated their new era by destroying an architectural monument and blaming its destruction on their designated enemies,” he wrote.

And morons in the real world would find themselves out of their jobs if they proved, beyond a shadow of a doubt, to their employers, on a daily basis, that they are full-goose fuckin’ insane and incapable of even the most rudimentary mental/social functions other than constantly slamming their sippy cups on the table, scooping shit out of their adult diapers and throwing it at the customers…

Barrett said Tuesday he was comparing the attacks to the burning of the German parliament building, the Reichstag, in 1933, a key event in the establishment of the Nazi dictatorship.

“That’s not comparing them as people, that’s comparing the Reichstag fire to the demolition of the World Trade Center, and that’s an accurate comparison that I would stand by,” he said.

Uh-huh. Saying that Bush deliberately killed nearly 3,000 of his own citizens and brought the country to the brink of economic collapse, all so that he could get his filthy-rich friends lucrative military contracts so that they can become even filthier-richer (So sue us), isn’t comparing them as people. Not in the least.

He added: “Hitler had a good 20 to 30 IQ points on Bush, so comparing Bush to Hitler would in many ways be an insult to Hitler.”

We’re sure that John “Fuckface” Qerry will be happy to hear that, since he proved that he was even dumber than Chimpy McBusHitler™ in college.

On the bright side, you know this slobbering dunce is a few monkeys shy of a greased-football clusterfuck when even a Mind-numbed Minion of Marx & Mao™ (aka Mainstream WI Donk) calls for his firing.

Democratic Gov. Jim Doyle and his Republican challenger, Mark Green, have both said they believe Barrett should be fired.

Of course, Doyle could just be trying to cover his ass until after the election in November…

As for the publisher of the book, here’s what they have to say about trying to stuff this much camel nutspunk between two bookends:

Moira Megargee, publicity director for the Northampton, Mass., publisher Interlink, said the book is due out at the end of November and the editing isn’t finished.

“It is not final and for all we know that essay may not be in the book or may be edited,” she said.

In layman’s terms that means “We were hoping that nobody would notice that we were trying to pack 15 pounds of shit into a 5 pound book.”

Here’s one pound of that felafel-packed goat feces:

One essay Barrett is requiring students to read is entitled: “A Clash Between Justice and Greed,” and argues that conflicts between Islam and the western world were made up after the “collapse of the Soviet Union to justify U.S. ‘defense’ spending, and to provide a pretext of controlling the world’s resources.”

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeah. We just “made up” all of those terrorist attacks that happened after the Soviet Union fell apart. We also “made up” those 6,000,000+ dead Jews in Hitler’s camps and those 20,000,000+ in the Soviet Union to provide a pretext for our attack and subsequent occupation of Germany so we could control the world’s supply of wienerschnitzel.

Here’s another pound of the colostomy bag drippings:

The author of another essay, “Interpreting Terrorism: Muslim Problem or Covert Operations Nightmare?,” contends some western intelligence agencies are commiting acts of terrorism to make them look like the work of radical Islamics.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. And all of those wild-eyed, spittle-flecked IslamoIdiots that you see on your TV’s every night, proclaiming loudly and proudly their acts of terrorism against The Infidels & Apostates™, are all just cleverly made-up Anglo-Swedish-American CIA agents.

The university’s chief academic officer, Provost Patrick Farrell, decided to retain Barrett for the course after reviewing his plans and qualifications. …

Which, at face value, should qualify Provost Farrell for immediate commitment to the nearest Alec Baldwin Memorial Hospital for the Terminally Insane & Chronically Stoopid™.

…He said Barrett could present his ideas during one week of the course as long as students were allowed to challenge them.

Which we all just KNOW happens all the time in our Esteemed Hallowed Halls of Asshatemia™. :thumbdown_tb:

He later warned Barrett to stop seeking publicity for his personal political views.

Barrett, STFU! If you’d just keep your mouth shut, we’d be able to indoctrinate, er, educate these future drones, aaah, leaders of tomorrow with our manifesto, uuuuuh, progressive agenda and no one would be the wiser!

Farrell said he has not seen the essay, but faculty can assign readings that may not be popular to everyone.

So much for carefully “reviewing his plans and qualifications“, eh Farrell? Do you really think that we’re as stupid as you sound?

“I think part of the role of any challenging course here is going to encourage students to think of things from a variety of perspectives,” he said.

As long as every “variety of perspective” remains slightly to the Left of Lenin, that is…

Perhaps you should put up a poll about this. Is this man serious in his belief, or is it a pose. Is he really deranged, or so full of hate he and ilk will do or say anything to denigrate America?

Wasn’t UW Madison named the number one party school in the Nation last year? I can only wonder why. MAYBE it’s because those poor students get so much indoctrination pounded into their little brains that their only relief from the torture is to head straight to the nearest bar to “pound” beers.
I’m not sure if this is true, but I also believe that Madison has the largest number of bars per capita in the country. What a surprise!
The last time I visited Mad Mad Madison, I was uplifted by the lovely smell of pot in the air, the coffee shops full of angry jobless lefties, and the colorful signage proclaiming, “Peace For Palestine” and “Kill Bush”.
    Truly uplifting.
Any parent who sends their child to that institution of unlearning should be convicted of child abuse.

Someday there will be a reckoning for these loose-changing freaks.

It would be wrong to simply shoot them like dogs, as they would believe that they were martyrs. I propose that we give them a taste of their own medicine and establish a re-education facility for Moonbats.

Patterned after the Disneyland model, the “Campus” would be divided into zones such as “Commie Land”, “Sharia Land”, “Tribal Land”, and “Back-to-Nature Land” (Please feel free to sugest other “lands”)

Here the social theoriticians could experience firsthand what life is like under the policies that they so cluelessly advocate.

We could hire Cuban prison guards, Taliban clerics, and Yanamamo tribesman to run the place. In the best free market tradition, operating costs would be defrayed by setting up cameras and making it a reality TV show. Fun for the whole family.

“Meanwhile, in Back to Nature land, The lab has almost completed the Sabertooth, Dire Wolf, and Cave Bear clones, let’s see how Professors Moonbeam and Sunflower are doing on their flint spears.”

    Great fisking, BC!
Doyle is the great savior of WI. Vetoed the carry law passed by the State house twice. He said he knew what was good for the people of WI and felt compelled to protect them, or words to that effect.
I don’t think DK likes him much either!

Brilliant! I think you should write up a proposal and pitch it to Mark Burnett.

That is why the only reason to go to college is to get a degree in the sciences, technology, engineering, etc.

Humanities are anything but HUMANities–they are now dedicated to the worship of the subhuman, and are, in the form they are taught, not worthy of study.

That is not to say one does not need to educate oneself in the fields of literature, music, arts, history. It only means one is better off doing it on his own.
