For my semi-annual contribution, I’m going to direct you to a Blackfive post featuring Australian singing artist Beccy Cole, who’s apparently pissed off some anti-war Aussie appeaseniks because she believes in what the allies are attempting to do.
Her response is below. And it’s damned good, too - well worth your time.
She can be my poster girl any day.

Thank you for letting us know about her. You’ve made a believer out of me. I suspect an album of hers will be my next purchase.

Never been a fan of country music but you can’t deny the message. She is awesome.
October 25th, 2006 at 7:56 amDamn, damn I say, my employer’s YouTube firewall.
I see that it’s at “http://www.youtube.com/v/0BZ6aqgvdFI”, but all I get is a “The Internet site you have tried to access ( http://www.youtube.com ) is not currently authorized by Delta. If you have a business need to access this site, complete a Site Authorization Request detailing the reason. The business need will be considered against the reason for blocking and a response provided.”
Does anyone have a copy of this somewhere else than YouTube?
By and large those Aussies have been a great supporter of saving the world from Islamofascism. For a country that hasn’t been attacked as severely as, say, the US, they still are one of the few that “gets it” when it comes to the TowelHeads wanting to establish a world-wide caliphate and place all us infidels underneath Sharia.
My son, who recently served as a Marine in Afghanistan, has told me that those Down Under folks are a tough bunch.
October 25th, 2006 at 8:14 amShe’s got a great voice and a brain, wow, nice combo… I may have to pick up a copy of one/some of her albums or songs sometime too…

Do a websearch for “free cgi proxy”.
October 25th, 2006 at 10:10 amThank you, Spats. If you are only going to post semi-annualy, do a good one.
Powerful answer to a series of Auzzie Moonbat crybabies. Wonder if we can trade the Dixie Twits for her.
I’ll throw in a first round draft choice and ten bucks cash.
October 25th, 2006 at 11:26 amIt’s hard to keep from getting choked up when listening to that song. I love it when people truly love their country, and proudly wear their patriotism for all to see. (note to leftists: bashing and blaming your country for all the world’s ills is not patriotic, no matter how much you knuckle-dragging moonbat fucknozzles claim otherwise.) I remember America in the months that followed 9/11. Everyone flew flags. You could wear your love of country on your sleeve, secure in the knowledge that leftist asshats wouldn’t dare to so much as comment or question it. For the first, and only, time in my life, we ceased to be Black, White, Hispanic, Asian, or anything else, and simply became “Americans.”
I wish it could have lasted forever.
Becky Cole gets it. I wish stations would start playing her music here in the States in place of those who support the our enemies.

October 25th, 2006 at 2:11 pmYa’ll can goto http://www.beccycole.com/ and sign her guestbook.
Those ‘Diggers’ are damn lucky to have support like that! WOW!
October 25th, 2006 at 3:34 pmNiiiiiiiiiiice!
Good for her. I’d buy her CD even if the rest of the album sucks.
But somehow, I have a hunch it doesn’t.
Off I go, money in hand.
October 25th, 2006 at 4:39 pmThx for linking her. Let’s see whether her album fits into the budget.
October 25th, 2006 at 5:10 pmAwesome song!! I was lucky enough to work with some Aussies when I was over in the box. Great soldiers and their attitude is pretty much like ours….let us do our damn job of killing the terrorists and get back home. They REALLY did not like the fact that some of their units could not go ‘outside the wire’. (Maybe that’s changed by now.) But it was an honor to serve with them.

October 25th, 2006 at 6:58 pmA Little trivia, Australia is the only country to fight by the USA’s side in every conflict we have been in since World War I. Beccy Cole is an example of why. Thanks Auzzies!
October 25th, 2006 at 7:10 pmI’ve watched this about a half dozen times today.
Spats, you have taken at least a dozen lines off my Christmas “What do i get for xxxxxx This Time?” list.
My wife threw in another ten bucks, a case of Sam Adams and another draft pick.
October 25th, 2006 at 7:19 pmWhoa, now this IS getting serious!
October 25th, 2006 at 8:57 pmMy mother was born and raised there, makes me proud of it. Now she is a conservative American.
October 25th, 2006 at 9:04 pmToo bad the dirtbags attacking don’t have the sense of shame to feel what they ought to when watching it.
October 25th, 2006 at 9:22 pm:furious_tb:
She’s great. The Dixie Chicks could learn somthing from her. Then again probably not. As stupid as they are.
October 25th, 2006 at 10:05 pmPoster Girl gets it…
Beccy Cole is a country music singer from Down Under. She went to perform for the troops in Iraq earlier this year and came home a changed woman. The result is the video below. Let’s just say that I know alot of Americans who would love to tra…
October 25th, 2006 at 10:55 pmMade my wild eyes tear up a bit, she did.
Beautiful, sexy, patriotic…thank you, mates.
ABC Shop has the download available. I’ve also requested that iTunes start carrying it.
Beccy Cole’s Website is located here.
October 26th, 2006 at 12:30 pmWow - that was great! I’ve been so gloom and doom lately - that that really picked me up.
October 26th, 2006 at 4:39 pmA Proud Australian…
Thanks to Blackfive, this beautiful tribute to Aussie soldiers, or “Diggers”, has gone viral among Americans. It was a nice pick-me-up today so I want to join in on the promotion of this lovely lady and her love for Australia.

It’d be great if she did an American tour.

Thats twice in the last month I’ve shed tears for an Aussie!
October 26th, 2006 at 9:08 pmThey’re worth it, mongrul…every tear and more. My Australian uncles fought the Japanese in New Guinea in WW2. They remain one tough bunch. Among the most affable and friendly of men, the first to offer you a beer or smoke, but do not hurt their mates. As one Japanese soldier found out as he was staked to a tree with a bayonet through his head, after being slashed from groin to throat. Seems he was torturing Aussie soldiers…….
October 26th, 2006 at 9:17 pmDamn! Now I don’t know if I like John Howard or this poster girl more. I know one thing, If I was not an American I sure would have Australia as my second choice as my country. If the Democrats mess around with America too much with their social programs I might have to move anyway. The more I read Australian history the more respect I have for that country. Let’s see wasn’t America and Australia settled by misfits that just would not fit into the standard mold of the times.
October 27th, 2006 at 8:38 pm[…] Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler and Brutally Honest, and probably a whole lot of others, have provided me with a valuable education about that country music stuff in which you plebes like to immerse yourselves up to your necks. […]
