Party of Stupid Keeps Digging
Posted by: Emperor Misha I in Politics, Useless Swine4:47 pm
After getting a thorough trouncing, the GOP decides to appoint wide-open borders and amnesty for felons Martinez as new RNC chair.
And he gets to keep his Senate seat as well, thus ensuring that he can ass-ream us all TWICE.
Goodbye, GOP.
And FUCK YOU VERY MUCH.
***UPDATE***: From LC Mike M:
According to a Michelle Malkin update, apparently the prospective RNC Chair must be voted on and approved by the various GOP State Chairs. They meet in January. If you are a Republican, now is probably a good time to let your state GOP committee rep know how you feel. Their contact information is available through the Republican National Committee website.
I’ve already told them how I feel and just where they can stick themselves if that sack of amnesty-loving shite is approved, in my usual loving and compassionate way.

For those driving the short bus and who parked it on the tracks. That light at the end of the tunnel ain’t sunshine.
November 13th, 2006 at 5:04 pmFuck! Shit! Damn!
November 13th, 2006 at 5:34 pmI’ll have to take comfort that winter is coming and a bunch of moonbats are headed down south to visit BC.
Bwuhahahahahaha!
Constitution Party anyone?
The Illinois CP wouldn’t let non christians be officers. As I’ve said many times before-I used to be Jewish
November 13th, 2006 at 5:56 pmIf the MO one doesn’t hold that policy, I’m game.
Yeah. That fuckin’ RINO Martinez just wants to expand his voter base, EXACTLY like the rest of the Socialist Nanny-statist JackAsses. He’s also opposed to drilling for OUR OWN FUCKING OIL in the Gulf of Messico. If he wasn’t just slightly to the right of Marx, I’d have voted for the Donk he ran against in ‘04. (Who was well to the Left of Lenin, Marx and Engels.)
Fuckin’ lesser of two evils shit…
Where’s that viable 3rd party? I’m ready to sign up.
:wallbash_tb: :furious_tb: :guns_tb: :flush_tb:
Maxx, it’s not so much the Migratory MoonBats™ that chap my ass. It’s the ones who come here and STAY.
November 13th, 2006 at 6:00 pmAs we say in Canadzaquatlacan…..porfavore, eh.
November 13th, 2006 at 6:13 pmThis nomination is nothing more than a carrot thrown to collect the illegal immigrant vote….
Looks like I’ll be sending RNC donation letters back empty for a while longer.
November 13th, 2006 at 6:31 pmI’ve been toying with the idea of joining the Libertarian Party.
But there’s a couple of issues that I disagree with them on, and I cannot get past it enough to join. (#1 being abortion on demand)
What alternatives do we have?
November 13th, 2006 at 6:53 pmWTF, over? :blink_tb: :bigsurprise_ee:
Do the Republicans actually enjoy being the minority party? Does the leadership of the Party of Stupid have some sort of repressed masochism that is finally coming to the fore? What the hell is going on here?
Too bad we’re all going to be shafted by the Democrats, not just them… :doh_tb: :wallbash_tb: :furious_tb: :help_tb:
November 13th, 2006 at 6:58 pmDamn.
Our very own howard dean.
How do you spell HEEEEEAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGG!! in mexican?
November 13th, 2006 at 7:11 pmI, on behalf of all conservative Floridians, apologize for Martinez.
BC sez
A yankee is someone north of the Mason-Dixon who comes to visit.
A Damn Yankee is one who stays.
November 13th, 2006 at 7:16 pmTHEY’RE BAAAACK!
Maybe Tancredo as the nominee for the CONSERVATIVE PARTY? It would be nice to have a viable second party in this country again, as opposed to the two wings of the Leninist party we have now. I wish us a LOT of luck the next two years. We’re going to need it, badly.
“Insert clever quote here.”
November 13th, 2006 at 7:24 pmMisha says:
Here we go again.
You’re characterizing the WHOLE G’DAMN PARTY for the ignorance of ONE moron, who calls himself a Republican.
It’s the tactic the Party of Big Mouths & Small Ideas used SUCCESSFULLY to win the majority.
Knock it off !
November 13th, 2006 at 7:24 pmYou know when you look at the election results.
Add in the fact the some people think that if milk-n-toast had fired Rumsfeld before the election. things may have been different.
Then put in a “One world Order” type in the RNC chair.
It’s almost enough to make one believe the conspiracy theories.
Once is an accident.
November 13th, 2006 at 7:37 pmTwice is a coincidence.
Third time is enemy action.
Who the fuck is appointing him???
SANTA FUCKING CLAUS? THE DAMN TOOTH FAIRY???
If you want me to ever think about getting near that corrupt, socialist parody of a party again, you’d damn well better help clean out the pig sty it’s become.
Their complete abrogation of the principles that got them a majority 12 years ago is what got them in the mess we’re all in now, so don’t expect me to help them get out of the fucking wilderness until they’ve learned their lesson and become a party worth at least pissing on again.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

November 13th, 2006 at 7:55 pmRanger:
The same, except with a “J” in place of the “H”, and remember to roll the “R’s”…
November 13th, 2006 at 8:08 pmDamn, seems we’re gettin’ it comin’ and goin’…and may God help the next republican calling me looking for campaign bucks. I’ll send it to the NRA instead.
November 13th, 2006 at 8:20 pmOr maybe JPFO instead?
November 13th, 2006 at 8:27 pmHeh, heh, the party’s coming Heather. And it ain’t the fucking Lib’s.
November 13th, 2006 at 8:39 pmGreat. We have Martinez as head of the RNC, and I live in the state that produced CHUCK HAGEL..he of the Martinez/Hagel bill.
Please…don’t shoot me…I DID vote for him, before, but really I have seen the errors of my ways. He won’t get MY vote again. It’s funny. Hagel is our resident RINO, and Nelson is our resident DINO. They should just switch sides.
November 13th, 2006 at 9:06 pmAccording to a Michelle Malkin update, apparently the prospective RNC Chair must be voted on and approved by the various GOP State Chairs. They meet in January. November 13th, 2006 at 9:14 pmSpeak for yourself. I’ll be giving mine to my local arms/ammo dealer.
November 13th, 2006 at 10:16 pm[…] The Anti-Idiotian Rottweiler is less than thrilled, which may qualify as understatement of the year. He includes this tidbit (via Michelle Malkin): According to a Michelle Malkin update, apparently the prospective RNC Chair must be voted on and approved by the various GOP State Chairs. November 13th, 2006 at 11:13 pmHey, you wanted to shake up the Repulican party, and you did it!!!
Congratulations!!!! Lookie what you got!!!
Welcome to Socialism 101. Hey, the Repulicans didn’t agree with EVERYTHING that their representatives stood for, so instead of supporting those candidates, the “conservatives” either stayed home, or voted for the enemy. Good choice!!! Not the Socialist/America/JOOO Hating liberals have taken over.
November 13th, 2006 at 11:37 pmGood luck getting them out of office now.
But I guess I’m over reacting….
Damn fuckin’ shame, ain’t it? Libertarians are a classic example of a great idea taken just a bit too far.
November 13th, 2006 at 11:47 pmHonestly, if it wasn’t for their platform on narcotics, I’d be willing to stomach the rest. Can’t win em’ all, but that hurdle is just too high for me to get over.
Nerbygirl: Even with a majority in both the House and Senate, Democrats don’t get to appoint RNC Chairmen.
This one was entirely the GOP’s own fault.
It’s unreal, I tell you. They get a thorough spanking in the midterms for abandoning their conservative principles in their ENTIRETY, not just a couple of minor issues, and they respond with more of the same.
They must LIKE being in the minority.
Oh, and once more: You’re yelling at the wrong conservatives. Most of us here (if not all), held our noses and did our duty. These are not the droids you’re looking for.
November 13th, 2006 at 11:47 pmtest
November 13th, 2006 at 11:56 pmIt works!!!!!!!!!!!! I will pick up the thread tommorow, its bed time. :clap_tb:
November 13th, 2006 at 11:59 pm*tomorrow*
November 14th, 2006 at 12:00 amAhh, but bear up, GOP-ers. Martinez may suck on little insignificant things like border control and immigration. But on REALLY REALLY IMPORTANT issues like gay marriage or civil unions, he is a stellar example of what the GOP needs at the job he is taking on. yessirree!
/do I have to?
November 14th, 2006 at 6:39 amI said:
To which you replied:
Don’t use that tone with me…You’re acting like a li’l whiney Democrat.
We have options, as pointed out in your update…Let’s get back to basics.
You don’t solve the problem by throwin’ a hissy-fit, and cuttin’ n’ runnin’ from the Party…After all is said and done, it’s the only Party you have…Realistically.
November 14th, 2006 at 6:42 amWell now we have a fine difference of opinion regarding Mel Martinez…
Since we already know how Misha and Ms. Malkin feel about Senator Mel, one should consider another blogger who’s stuff has occassionally been linked to on this site, Sweetness & Light says: “It’s also encouraging to see that the Soros Brownshirts at Wikipedia are already trying to tie him to Jack Abramoff — with undocumented and absurd accusations.
So he must be a good guy.”
The ACU rate Sen. Mel a 100 for 2005
November 14th, 2006 at 7:07 amThe GOP is DOA to me:guns_tb:
November 14th, 2006 at 9:07 amListen Up, You Congresssional Morons! This guy says it all.
November 14th, 2006 at 10:06 amThe state RNC chair is elected by precinct committees.
If you fail to take on and take over your local precinct, the RINOs will see to it that the floggings continue.
And don’t even consider the Losertarians … I was the State Chair for the Libertarian Party of [ state redacted ] for two years … becomming a member of a third party is a good way to have absolutely no political influence whatsoever.
The Libertarians are more interested in Anarcho-Capitalist debating games than actually getting folks elected, and the Constitutionalist Party is full of Fundamentalists Zealots and Common-Law/Posse-Comitatus Ghost Dancers.
What we need is a Conservative Party … but until conservative Republicans AND Conservative Democrats can be talked into a mass defection, we are stuck with fixing the G.O.P. if we want conservatives to actually hold office.
November 14th, 2006 at 10:20 amI’ll use whichever tone I please around here, thankyouverymuch. Oh, and if you’re aiming for a more civil tone, this isn’t helping:
I am, am I?
Listen, you may have already forgotten it, but you were the one howling about me abandoning the party because of “the ignorance of one moron who calls himself Republican”, conveniently overlooking the fact that he didn’t appoint himself.
It’s not his presence in the GOP that I take issue with, we’ve had worse and survived it (Lincoln Chafee, anyone?), it’s the fact that the GOP leadership apparently think that someone slightly less intelligent than a lobotomized poodle who is all about leaving the borders wide open and handing out amnesty to 12-20 million criminals would make for a wonderful RNC chair.
Working part-time too.
I repeat: He wasn’t nominated by the tooth fairy, he was nominated by GOP leadership. You know, the PARTY.
And you think I’m a whiny lil’ Democrat for abandoning a party that has long since abandoned anything it ever stood for?
I’d make a LOUSY Democrat, since I’m completely unable to act like a drone.
Obviously, that means that I’ll make a lousy Republican as well, since apparently the motto of the GOP these days is “shut up and vote, you peasant.”
But that’s fine, because I really never was a Republican to begin with. I am and was a conservative, not a GOP-bot.
November 14th, 2006 at 11:58 amI distinctly recall you saying, you were considering not voting.
And, I VEHEMENTLY argued against that idea, when you first proposed it.
What kind of “Conservative” ideal is “not voting” ?
Could it be?…P’haps, I’m a little further “right-of-center” than you?
November 14th, 2006 at 1:21 pmTrue. The operative word here being “considering.”
But I forget: Which part of the Conservative Handbook makes voting mandatory, even when there are no conservatives to vote FOR?
November 14th, 2006 at 1:41 pmAs Jaybear correctly pointed out, “conservatives” lost the majority by 50,000 votes.
You get a lot of traffic thru this blog.
I have to wonder, how many people took your advice?
We’re not gonna’ win back the majority by whining about our own tribe.
November 14th, 2006 at 1:47 pmIf you’re talking about the incumbents, then they left my tribe years ago. I just need them thrown out of my party as well.
Every. Last. One.
November 14th, 2006 at 2:09 pmAnd, that all begins at the ballot box, doesn’t it.
Case: Closed
November 14th, 2006 at 2:16 pmFAE: However, if the voter base votes them into office, they’ll get this cockamamie idea that the voters think their horseshit is somehow acceptable.
Basically, you’ve got the Party of Sheep and the Party of Idiots. You decide which is which. In truth, it doesn’t matter, since both appellations apply equally aptly to both parties.
Further-right-than-thou? WTF? This easily makes the top ten list of Stupidest Comments I’ve Ever Seen or Made On This Blog™. As if being further right of center makes you somehow the winner of the argument or the better man. Sorry, dude, you sound like a bragging little idiot, and it does nothing to prove your point.
I voted Republican myself, but only because I absofrickin’lutely despise Steny Hoyer. (Yes, Steny Hoyer is my Congresscritter. Weep with me, fellow LC’s.) Frankly, neither party has been acting like sentient life for about the last ten years, and it’s high time we all got together and tossed both their sorry asses into the Capitol parking lot and had real men and women debate the issues. Men and women who are more interested in the good of all and the good of their constituents than in lining their pants, their pocketbooks, or their beds.
November 14th, 2006 at 2:18 pmIt does indeed, but what’s your point?
I’m hoping and praying for a veritable bloodbath in the primaries of ‘08, because otherwise we, as a nation, are screwed on a truly cosmic scale.
Until then, I’ll continue “whining” about the dismal state that the party is in right now, with or without your approval.
Judging by the GOP’s idiocy in nominating a knuckle-dragging chowderhead right after they got their collective asses handed to them, it’s going to be a full-time job.
November 14th, 2006 at 2:33 pm:devil_tb:
Looks like, I lit a bit of a fire…heh,heh,heh
The next time someone suggests “not voting,” you can believe it…Stupid ol’ ME, will be right back in yer shit.
November 14th, 2006 at 2:36 pmSo what’s the decision on Martinez?
Is Martinez merely a R.I.N.O. or is there something to his ACU rating?
November 14th, 2006 at 5:34 pm
