Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler » So How’s By You? Have You Seen this Joo? (UPDATED w/VIDEO)

(Via LC & IB Bill Quick)

Our profound apologies to Weird Al for leveraging a line of lyrics from him, but it makes for such a headline. Oy.

We don’t know about you, but we like this guy. We really, really LIKE him.

Former Israeli Interior Minister Uzi Landau, a leading contender to succeed Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, was in the United States last week to sound the alarm on Iran.

He believes the world needs to wake up to the threat from Iran, and compared Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Adolf Hitler in 1938.

“In 1938, the world faced a gathering storm, when there was a fanatic enemy who publicly said he was going to destroy you, and the world did nothing.”

Thank Heavens SOMEBODY gets it. Now, if only he could get the ear of the President, but President McClellan doesn’t speak “common sense.”

If you can’t see the obvious parallels between Hitler and Ahmacamelshit, you’re frankly too effin’ stupid to even bother talking to. And that goes for the parallels between Neville Chamberlain and Jim “I’m too Stupid to Tie My Own Shoes” Baker the Third Turd too.

Here’s a primer: You have a maniac who is threatening to wipe a people off the face of the Earth, a fanatic that has declared himself quite willing to throw his country into a cataclysmic war without as much as a second thought, a lying weasel who repeatedly “agrees” to talks while continuing to do exactly whatever he wants to do, showing absolutely no willingness to address in the slightest the subject of the talks.

Does it sound like Hitler?

Does it sound like Ahmadinnerjacket?

Answer: Both of the above.

As minister of public security in the government of Ariel Sharon in March 2002 when a Palestinian suicide bomber murdered scores of Jews at a Passover dinner, he advocated a full-scale invasion of the Palestinian territories and is known for his hard-line approach to Israel’s enemies.

Wow. Do we EVER love this guy!

Somebody whose response to being attacked is to attack right back until the threat is eliminated. What a sadly rare thing in today’s pussified global community, and what a refreshing sight once you find one.

During Hezbollah’s attack on Israel this summer, he told NewsMax that Israel should strike Damascus because the Syrian government was harboring the Hezbollah leadership and allowing Iran to openly supply missiles and other weapons to the terrorist militia in Lebanon through the Damascus airport.

That would seem logical, wouldn’t it? Attack the problem at its source, rather than swatting away ineffectively at its tentacles.

Of course, that’s only logical if you’re actually equipped with a brain, which automatically excludes all of Washington DC as well as Ehud “Limpdick” Olmert.

Landau says he was dismayed by the recommendation of the Baker-Hamilton commission for the United States to open negotiations with Iran and Syria. “This is 1938 revisited,” he said.

OK, Mr Landau. Time to come out of the closet. You’re a subscriber to the Rott, aren’t you? Give us your screen name so that we may bestow a title upon you.

“The Baker report recalls Chamberlain’s policy of appeasement,” Landau said. “One would have hoped, instead, for this report to sound the alarm.”

A futile hope indeed, considering that the commission was made up entirely of geriatric fools with absolutely no knowledge of the subject matter, put on the commission as a result of the inbred Culture of Mutual Favors that has replaced actual leadership in DC.

If not, we’d like for somebody to explain to us how the fuck Sandra Day O’Cowfart ended up on a commission examining options for fighting a war in the Middle East. You might as well have put Barney the Dinosaur on it, but obviously he wasn’t owed any favors by the cluetards on the Hill.

“What does Israel have to do with the United States getting bogged down in Iraq?” he wondered. “This all goes back to Arab rhetoric, and State Department rhetoric. This is a view that is totally detached from the realities of the Middle East.”

Exactly. The disgraceful, shameful, dishonorable suggestion from the Iraq Surrender Group that Israel should be made to pay the tab for President McClellan’s refusal to actually fight the war is nothing but an open approval of the Hajji meme that “it is all the fault of the Jooos.” Our first thought when we read that bit of the Iraq Surrender Group’s report was: “that would have sounded so much better in the original Arabic.”

Not that it ought to surprise anybody. After all, Jim Baker the Turd’s law firm is, after all, representing the Saudis in the suit brought against them by survivors of 9/11.

Remember where 15 of the 19 came from?

So it’s little wonder that Jim Baker the Turd sounds exactly like an English language version of a Wahhabi cleric.

Here’s hoping that Uzi Landau replaces Ehud “Run Away” Olmert soon.

Preferably YESTERDAY.

***UPDATE:*** Thanks to Sir Christopher, we present you with this video illustrating our point perfectly:

The world has been looking for this generation’s Churchill. Perhaps the search is over. If not, let’s support the unleashing of this man’s vision and once and for all end the war.

I’m beginning to realize there may be a reason that the famous submachine gun is called an Uzi: because Israelis with the name Uzi are equally dangerous to those who would be enemies. Go Uzi!

Nice to see someone on the right side who actually appears to possess not only testicles, but decently sized brass ones.

Let’s hope we don’t pressure Israel to sweep him under the carpet, the way we do with every other unpleasant issue they want to raise.

Uzi’s not a member of the present Knesset, so, in accordance with my understanding, he can’t run for PM during any upcoming election. And even if he were to be eligible at this time (i.e., a Knesset rep), Bibi’s the head of the Likud (Uzi’s party) and so the best Uzi can hope for is cabinet minister (defense?).

Bibi as PM and Uzi as his Minister of Defense.

While I would love Uzi Landau to become the Prime Minister, several things are working against that reality:

He is Netanyahu’s primary rival. It’s not a pretty rivalry. If Netanyahu becomes PM, Landau has an outside chance of getting a lesser portfolio, but DM is going to Silvan Shalom or Effie Eitan. Or a coalition member, which is the in vogue “magnanimous” thing to do (Peretz is Labor while Olmert is Kadima)

Landau is something like #15 on the Likud list. The number of seats your party gets in Parliament (total 120) is based on the percentage of votes won in an election. Depending on your placement on the list, you either are in or out as a member of Parliament. #15 used to be a safe number for Likud as a main party. Now that most of the centrist suckasses bailed and joined Kadima, it’s really anyone’s guess how Likud will fare in the next election. Remember that Kadima is Sharon’s cult of personality and with him on permanent vacation, Olmert’s ability to hold the party together can only go so far. The Second Lebanon War may have woken up the Center and Left to the truth that Kadima borked the job.

Uzi Landau channels a little too much Rabbi Meir Kahane for The People to be comfortable with him. He is an unapologetic hard-liner and that makes him unpopular with all but the most right-wing (read: me) populace.

He tends to meander in his speaking (firsthand knowledge). Not a good trait in a politician, who needs to produce sound bites for the six o’clock. Netanyahu is WAY more polished than Landau.

Most of the right wing prefers to vote for more religious and nationalistic (read: Zionistic) special-interest parties.

Other than that, he’s got my vote ;-)
