Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler » That About Sums It Up

From the Dept of Summaries that His Majesty wishes he could’ve made himself, LC & IB Steve sums up the reason why Ahmadinnerjacket can get away with doing what he does while all of Washington DC are busy trying to come up with new and fascinating ways of surrendering to him:

We’re pretty easy to humiliate, because about 40% of us are basically flatworms. No spine whatsoever. Just about any country can humiliate the US. Because we resist for a while, and then the flatworms get their way, because they would rather play video games and build expensive kitchens and eat hamburgers and watch Youtube and wear stupid ribbons and meaningless rubber bracelets than face our problems. Sooner or later, if you live that way, a foreigner in a uniform comes to your house, takes away your video-game controller, and makes you work in a salt mine.

Sadly, he’s 100% correct.

It is often said that spending too much time in your recliner, eating chips and watching “American Idiot”, will make your arteries clog up and kill you off.

I only wish that the process was a lot faster.

Then the next of kin can appear on “Jerry Springer”, behaving like inbred monkeys with a pituitary gland disorder while tearing each other to shreds over who gets to inherit the 46″ plasma TV and the La-Z-Boy.

While the flatworms wipe each other and themselves out, those of us with a fully functional cerebrum can then get on with life without interference from useless, flabby sacks of skin that oughtn’t be allowed to breathe, much less to vote.

Thatisall.

But then, sire, all those of us WITH aforementioned backbone must work all the harder to repair what got fucked up. We really ARE the majority. I suppose that the laziness factor prevents the sufficient number from preventing it, then the “heroic” factor causes us to finally stand up as we should have in the first place. I’m still thinking the “service guarantees citizenship” concept has validity. Hey, Switzerland works quite well as an example.

*nods* I tend to agree with the whole “service guarantees citizenship” concept. Seems harsh, but if you want the power, you have to prove that you can handle it.

Indeed… we WILL have to work very hard, to fix the mess, but I’ll gladly do it as community-service voluntarily.

I’ll contribute the extra perspiration for the gift of riddance to the flatworms.

I only wish that the process was a lot faster.

ummm..how about FREE cable and/or satellite TV. Five channels of programming: The View, Oprah, Springer, Tyra Banks and Friends (we need a shit-com in there).

I would eat a .40 cal SJHP round in 30 minutes (or less) of exposure to that swill. Think “Clockwork Orange” movie scene.

Frankly, I tend to agree. Or at the very least voting rights, ability to hold office, and ability to work in any federal agency (and probably state too) should be restricted to veterans. That would at least help reduce the bureaucracy a bit… heh. That alone would make such a system worth it.

Not sure this is in the relevant section, but once again I would just like to congratulate Mr Emperor Sir for his services to humanity. As you may remember(?) I live in England. You know - you speak my language and we eat your ham(?)burgers. Anyhoo, I am sick to up to HERE watching the BBC lie and suck up to our friends with the death wish (PBUT) and I so love to see you speak the TRUTH and rant like a REAL MAN. You one tough hombre. Hats off. Peace and respect from the UK!!! Keep fucking rocking!!!

I’d like to see an unrestricted, full on, balls to the wall air war waged against Iran right about now.
Nothing fancy or elaborate, just lay waste to their entire infastructure and kill their military, dead.
    Fuck occupation, just kill it.

Funny, I just tracked down a new copy of Starship Troopers, along with The Forever War which apparently rebuts it and Bill the Galactic Hero, which takes the piss out of it and is actually one of my favourite books of all time.

Having re-read it during the dull shift in the hotel where I work, I could not help but think to myself that it seemed -so- right.

If you think about it, to put your life and comfort at the disposal of the body politic, for the survival of the body politic….. that seems to prove beyond a doubt that you are engaged and willing to do the best for your society. And remember, it wasn’t only military service, but any nasty, dangerous or unwanted job the Federation decided to give you that counted, so you can be a pacifist and still gain franchise doing hazardous environmental cleanup or relief work in blighted regions.

    But you had to -serve-.

Who’d have thought sane, sensible and admirable government could come from a sci-fi novel?

And sorry for the double post, but Tarquin if you follow the advice of a countryman:

    Leave and do so quickly.

My home has transformed itself beyond recognition in the last five years, in a sickening direction of a society lacking in social worth for all its social work. For all the surveillance and government restriction, the UK has become a cesspool of violent crime, drunken youth and appeasement of those who would destroy it from within.

The state controlled media is one step from Marxism and the target audience are eating it up with a spoon, because it’s easier than noticing the lies.

She didn’t speak to me for a week, but it was worth it.

Misha, what do you think it will require to get a Federation style government set up in the US? I like the idea of service-to-earn-franchise.

I know that ain’t my name at the beginning of that question, but this is a subject I’ve been mulling on a -lot- lately.

Heinlein probably predicted it correctly: The continued failure of “common man” democracy, wish-voting and the inevitable collapse of state brought about by pandering to every lazy bastard out there combined with oppressive monolithic states only interested in retaining power and pacifying their populations with bread and circuses are what brought about The Disorders and the subsequent will to order on the part of the Aberdeen veterans, the citizen militia that took the reins of power not from greed but from necessity.

I suspect it will happen in the US at a border state, where the Government inaction on illegals will stoke the situation between US citizens and drug traffickers/coyotes to the point where the local citizens are forced to take armed action to preserve their life and community.

As always, the Federal Government will vigorously disagree (Waco anyone?) but will underestimate the negative opinion their heavy-handed brute-force tactics will meet.

From their, other citizen militias will form, connect and eventually form into a congruent Citizens Defence organisation who’s goal will be to defend us against our own government….. And the rest, I hope will be history.

Rather than spinning, why not rise up like THIS GUY

Now -that- is a thing of beauty. I’m sure the English part of me has a drop or three of the right blood, for indeed it did raise the hair on the back on my neck.
