Mexican Act of War Update

For those of you interested in an update on the Mexican armed violation of our border, and we’re sure that some of you are (unlike the MSM or the White House, neither of which seem to think that armed forces crossing our borders at will are a big deal), there’s an extensive and detailed one here, courtesy of LCs and IBs Heidi and Kit.
Our Imperial Gut Instinct tells us that we’re talking drug cartel mercs here, testing our defenses. Well, now they know what the rest of us have known for a long time: President Arbusto won’t allow anything to happen that might in the slightest offend the Mexican government.
The proper response to an incident like this would have been to scramble a SPECTRE and create a red smear in the desert, then drop a jumbo bag of Tostitos in the middle so the Mexican cleanup crew could have chips with their salsa.
But that would undoubtedly offend the Mexicans that Jorge Arbusto seems to think elected him.
Citizen militia, anyone? It’s pretty obvious that the government isn’t willing to do its job, so could some Constitutional scholar out there inform His Imperial Highness whether or not it would be Constitutionally permissible for the militia to do their job for them?

Bush cannot redeem himself as far as I’m concerned but he could leave office doing the right thing by pardoning the two border agents convicted of shooting an illegal drug runner carrying a truckload of narcotics and the soldiers convicted of killing Islamofascists too well in Iraq.
If Bush abandons those men for a second time when he leaves office then I hope he becomes a pariah in the US.

And whether you can get away with it without either getting arrested … or sparking an outright civil war … or both… that I’m not so sure on.

If I read Militia Act of 1792 correctly, the President has to call out the militia for it to be legal. And we all know that will never happen on El Presidente Jorge Arbusto’s watch.
But there may be some loopholes to be found in the links at constitution.org’s Militia site in the links at the bottom of the page that allows “We, The People” to do the job no American Ruling Class Elite wants to do.

They will spend over 10 years in prison while the smuggler, caught with over 360 kilos of marijuana, was given amnesty.
These two cops were railroaded.

Is it hatred to want to defend your home (even your adopted one), life, liberty and livelihood? Is it hatred to want to live with people who believe in the same things as you do? Who have the same values, aspirations, cares and expectations? Is it hatred to want to know your friends and family will be safe, secure and free from malign influence, terrorist assault or common crime?
I don’t think it is and to classify what you read and see here as hatred does a grave disservice to the people who express themselves through this board. We are all guilty of anger, hyperbole and harsh words, but I do not see hatred. I see frustration with our politicians, our self-elected and biased media ‘elite’ and the sleeping flocks of this nation. I see disquiet and anger at the steady erosion of our way of life. I see fear that -we- are the dwindling minority and that we have stayed silent too long….. But again, I see no hatred.

Second, there is a whole lot of difference between not repeating the mistakes of now marginalised groups who allowed hatred to be their primary focus, rather than solutions. I for one would rather not be lumped in with the Klan, the Muzzies, the National Socialist Party, the IRA or the Government of Zimbabwe.
When you are perceived to be spewing nothing but simple hatred, people stop listening to you. When you make an impassioned objection or a rebuttal that demonstrates well controlled anger at an issue, they listen even if it’s only to refute your point.
Our job, as Conversatives is to change minds. To try and bring the people back into the fold, to strengthen our position through a conquest of words. Much as I hate to use the phrase, to ‘win hearts and minds’.
I’ve noticed that the least fair weather supporters of the Right are those who have come there later in life. When I was a lot younger, I had swallowed the Socialist bullshit I was force fed in school (in case the name doesn’t give it away, I’m English). It was only through careful enlightenment that I was able to cast off the mantle of entitlement and watered-down Marxism and start to think for myself. If I had been preached at or my converter had simply spewed “fuck this, fuck that”….. I doubt those lessons would have hit so true.
So if you publicly declare hate as your primary means of discourse, enjoy the margins, because the more we rant and rave and spew invective the less people are going to listen.
And Kristopher, ohiorightwingnut, I’m not aiming this little rant of mine at you in particular, but at our regrettable habit (myself included) of letting our emotions provide more fodder for the Left in the form of angry words they can spin to our disservice.

Hatred is a perfectly good word, and in some cases a perfectly valid response.
I am not going to let the left redefine English, or make any part of the language forbidden to me. You should reconsider your decision to allow this Orwellian Language redefinition to stand.

In an argument directly with the leftards, using invective, even if the other side is using it, knocks the legs out of your argument, because all that will be focused on is the tone of your speech. I prefer “Walk softly” (speak reasonably), “but carry a big stick” (use facts).
Here, however, I expect the vitriol to come out in heaping piles. That’s why I come by every day. Where else can you really spout off, sometimes just using your gut feeling, and still be part of the debate?
Here’s to the 2nd amendment (what’s left of it) and our Emperor (for providing us with a forum to bitch and hash things out…without PC constraints).
Let ‘em. If they don’t find it here, they’ll make it up, cause it’s not the actual thing you said, it’s what they divine it to mean.

It has stopped so many really good ideas, ruined so many smooth operations, and now threatens to destroy our country. Why? Because you can’t publish the truth. It would be considered “hate speech”. Yes, you should use tact, but you should be able to speak the truth. Truly, calm facts do speak much more loudly than spittle spewing invective. But you must be allowed to speak the truth. How many people around the nation have even heard of these border invasions? I’m sure that those who have given it any sort of thought at all have figured that this must be one of the ways drugs come in, but how many have heard of the militant invasions and firefights?
