Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler » Pull Out NOW!!! It’s A Fuckin’ “QUAGMIRE!!!™”

We know what you’re thinking… “Has The Imperial Torturer™ finally watched the Helen Thomas/Shillary Klintoon/Nancy Pelosi Triple Tuna Taco Supreme™ (w/Extra Sour Cream) 3-D IMAX® w/Smell-o-Rama-Vision™ DVD o’ Doom™ and gone over the edge to join the Frothing Fucknuggets o’ Frisco™?!?!”

The simple answer would be “No.” The not-so-simple answer would be “No, but we’ve got it on ‘Pause’ while we readjust the straps and eyelid-holder-openers on the latest victim troll guest in the Imperial Dungeon Game Room™ and wait for the Emperor to get back from the beer run with JackBoot.

While we’re waiting, check out the latest news from the most dangerous city on the planet.
(Here’s a hint to the Lobotomized Lickers of Lenin’s Lilliputian Left Testicle™: It ain’t Baghdad.)

Police plan to set up checkpoints beginning Wednesday to help curb a crime wave that has claimed nine lives since the start of 2007, …

Mogadishu perhaps? Beirut? Kabul? Gaza City?

… Mayor Ray Nagin said, …

:lol_wp: Yep. Good ol’ Nawlinz, Looseranna. A place run by The Party of People With A Plan™ for well over 100 years.

…stopping short of imposing a curfew on this tourism-dependent city.

Stopping short of actually solving any problems by actually doing something that might actually, you know, “work“.

The checkpoints will operate between 2 a.m. and 6 p.m., when about a third of the city’s violent crime occurs,…

Thus ignoring that mere two-thirds of other violent crime…

…and will target drug and alcohol violations as well as motorist insurance.

We’re all for cracking down on uninsured motorists, but this is supposed to cut down on violent crime how?

The first one was to be held in a crime-ridden area of the city.

That narrows it down to a mere 99.995% of the city, doesn’t it?

Nagin said the police force would also increase foot patrols, sheriff deputies would supplement the force,…

All well and good…

…and authorities would increase the number of surveillance cameras in high-crime areas.

Aren’t the Librulz the ones screaming bloody-murder “Big Brother!” and “Profiling is RACIST!” when anyone, other than a fellow Librul, even suggests that we should conduct “surveillance of likely suspects“.
:ponder_tb:

Speeding homicide cases through the court system is also part of his plan.

Has the ACLU been notified? How about CAIR?

“This city will focus on murders,” Nagin said, flanked by Police Superintendent Warren Riley, District Attorney Eddie Jordan and others speaking at the bloodstained site of the city’s first murder of 2007.

Instead of playing Teh Race Card™ and whining about how those Eeeeeevil Neo-Cons created Katrina and steered her towards Nawlinz and blew up the levees so that they could drown all of the po’ Chocklit Peepulz™ and turn the entire city into a Skull & Bones Mega-Casino & Brothel? Or will you still have a task force coordinating those efforts?

“We’re drawing a line in the sand, and we’re saying, ‘We’ve had it.’”

Perhaps you should have used that sand to reinforce your levees?

A curfew had been opposed by the city’s tourism leaders, who said it would further hurt businesses struggling since Hurricane Katrina. …

Aaaaah. We see the task force is still in place.

…While Nagin did not declare a curfew, he said the message to citizens was to stay off the streets in high-crime areas and in early morning hours.

Isn’t that a bit like telling a cat that it’s probably not a good idea to walk into a room full of pit bulls and kick the meanest one of ‘em squarely in the nuts? It’s called “survival instinct“, Mayor Yellow Submarine. It doesn’t need to be spelled out. Hmmmm… Now that we think of it, these ARE the drooling dolts who re-elected No-Go Nagin AND William Jefferson. Nevermind.

Nagin acknowledged the criminal justice breakdown extended beyond the police force and said a corps of volunteers will be recruited to monitor homicide cases moving through the courts. “We’re sending a signal that the system that used to allow you to commit a murder and there were no consequences is over. It has been easier to commit a murder than another crime in New Orleans,” Nagin said.

The system that the Socialist Succubi™ have worked for decades to create, by emasculating the judicial system to the point where it’d have to go to 24/7 Skid Row sperm bank to scrape up some pubes from the sticky floors and, through extreme luck, perhaps find a pair of spare testicles laying around.

Also Tuesday, Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., called on the Federal Emergency Management Agency to share more information on trailer residents with police, especially in New Orleans.

:eek_wp: How that Suppurating Sack of Syphilitic Semen™ managed to say something like that and not have her lips fall off is something of a major miracle. Mary wants information on her own citizens, but doesn’t want us to listen in on time-sensitive communcations from terrorists overseas without going through umpteen layers of bureaucratic bullshit.

Law enforcement officials say the large trailer sites - where about 3,000 people still live in New Orleans - have turned into hot spots for drug dealers, prostitutes and even murderers. …

Same ‘hood, different zip code.

…FEMA has been very tightlipped about who is living at the sites, which has hindered police work, St. Bernard Parish Sheriff Jack Stephens said.

“We’re largely still in the dark,” Stephens said. “They won’t share information.”

It’s called “The Privacy Act“. You really should look it up sometime.

Rachel Rodi, a FEMA spokeswoman, said the “records of applicants for FEMA assistance” cannot be shared, a policy all federal agencies adhere to. However, FEMA turns over information to investigators if they have “a specific, legally sufficient need,” she said.

“Mr. Ass, Meet Mr. Boot.” :lol_wp:

    that’s 16 hours.

More federal dollars that racist ray and mr freeze jefferson can misappropriate? When the hell is the GAO going to do their follow-up on how federal monies were spent in that cesspool? And, why haven’t the dhimmis been screaming for an investigation into the election of racist ray? They bussed in people from Houston and other evacuee cities to vote. Those people then returned to their new PERMANENT homes. How the hell is that a legal election?

Let’s assume that is a typo and it should read “6 p.m. to 2 a.m.”. That still would be one third of the day and one third of the murders. They would be profiling people that murder at night.

Once again, you have mistaken New Orleans tragi-comic minstrel theater for reality. This is the same crap Nagin, every predecessor of Nagin, and every other mayor of every other crime-ridden city in the world says in an attempt to pacify the sheeple flock. New Orleans has always been on the edge of anarchy, good and bad anarchy–raucous, joyous celebrations of life and dismal, violent spasms of death. As you might expect, the MSM is only reporting the latter. There are still far more of the former going on. After facing the largest natural disaster to hit the United States in modern times, there’s more anarchy and less order, again, good and bad, but it’s still mostly druggies and gang bangers killing each other on their turf. When the violence leaks out, the response has to come from the would be victims to be effective here, just like everywhere else. An off duty cop hired for security at a mid-city bar & restaurant iced a would-be robber–the patrons also pelted the robbers with bottles and chairs. Not much action in that area after that. Last week, a nice young family tragically fell victims to some sort of home invasion in the Marigny, an area where any decent people who aren’t armed should have bells around their necks to keep the sheep(le) together. It would be good if politicians everywhere would acknowledge and target the cultures that produce crime and violence, but that would require that descriptions of perps include their skin color, names, and/or national origins, which politicians of almost every stripe are afraid to do and the MSM won’t report anyway. It’s real easy to see in post-Katrina NOLA, because there’s an obvious and direct correlation between relocations and returns of certain demographics and the increase in crime, particularly violent crime. Don’t expect to see any truthful reporting of those facts, though. Instead, buck up and come to the best partying, eating, and finally football playing town in the U.S. and be sure you’ve got your carry piece and concealed carry license with reciprocity here. We’re happy to have the camaraderie of all from the Rottie Empire.

The really ratso crime-druglord-gang punks stayed too, to sponge and leech and loot, legally and illegally. So you have two segments of a society left, who are not and never were gonna be BFF’s.

    Voting in New Orleans

Why do we keep re-electing these idiots? To a great extent, we don’t. Dead people vote in our elections on a regular basis. People are bussed to the polls by candidates, and given $5 and a piece of Popeye’s for this privilege. Mind you, there isn’t a single part of the city where the polls aren’t within walking distance of all people they serve. People were bused in from HOUSTON who have no intention of ever returning to New Orleans to vote in the most recent elections.

Another thing to consider - the vast majority of New Orleanians are fundamental idiots. Remember all those people on rooftops and crowded in the Convention Center and the Super Dome? Those are the idiots who were too stupid to get out of town in the face of a Category 5 (at the time) hurricane. And those idiots get to vote, often 3 or 4 times per election. (and don’t give me the bullshit about not having a car or the money to evacuate. My cousin and his then-fiancee now-wife have no car, and have 5 cats, but were able to get rides to Memphis and then to New York).

I think they should have kept the checkpoints to get back into the city that they had in the month after Katrina - where you had to have a valid N.O. license to get back in. And they should have run criminal checks on each person trying to get back in, and if you didn’t pass, dammit, you wouldn’t be allowed back into the city. That would have been a lot better than violating the 2nd amendment and stealing law-abiding citizens’ firearms, IMHO.

PS - anyone from outside of LA want to hire a lawyer? I graduate law school in May, and want to get out of here!!!!

He was the 10th homicide victim in the first nine days of 2007 and his death was followed by two more killings Tuesday.” Sheesh, makes NOLA seem bucolic.
