No, I’m not going to launch into a rant about the unfairness of it all because, truth be told, I am enjoying myself far beyond the limits of what ought to be legal watching the shenanigans of the Idiotarians committing political seppuku every time they open their barely literate mouthes. From Dr. King’s widow’s funeral:

The funeral took on political overtones as former President Carter said of the Kings:

The funeral took on political overtones when the most overrated Idiotarian Ignoramus in all of history decided to flap his wrinkled gums? Knock us down with a feather!

“It was difficult for them then personally with the civil liberties of both husband and wife violated as they became the target of secret government wiretaps.”

…because we all know that there’s absolutely no difference between people with contacts to known terrorist organizations post 9/11 and Dr. King trying to get our nation to actually implement what we promised a hundred years prior. Oh, but that’s not what he meant. Right. And I’m a monkey’s uncle. Actually, given the state that humanity is in as a whole, I’m not sure that I’d be all that opposed to being a monkey. At least they’re not pretending to be intelligent.

Later, he said that Hurricane Katrina showed that all are not yet equal in America.

That dastardly racist hurricane caused by BusHitler’s friends in the KKK (who must have been introduced to him by Sen. Byrd (D-KKK)) and their nefarious weather control satellites. If this isn’t the very height of clownery, then we don’t know what is. All Dhimmi Carter needs is a red nose and a pair of shoes as large as his inflated ego. No, leave that last bit out. We don’t believe that there’s a shipyard capable of building that.

And both Bush and his father winced as they sat behind the pulpit and heard the Rev. Joseph Lowery, who co-founded the Southern Christian Leadership Conference with Martin Luther King Jr., take several jabs at foreign and domestic policies.

That’s because the Bushes are obviously more polite than His Majesty is. I’d have been laughing my tuches off. Nothing pleases me more than watching people making total arses of themselves in public, and I’ve more than once been told to keep it down when I erupt in explosions of mirth on such occasions. Oddly enough, the number of times that I’ve been told that is exactly equal to the number of times that I’ve found myself with one of my boots firmly planted in somebody’s rectum. That’s funny. Never thought of that until now.

“We know there were no weapons of mass destruction over there,”

Which puts the good Reverend at odds with every single intelligence agency on the planet. If only the clergy had spoken up when we were considering our options back then, no?

…but Coretta knew and we knew there are weapons of misdirection right down here,” Lowery said, complaining that were far too many in the U.S. are living in poverty and without health care insurance.

And how, in the name of George Soros’ Sagging Scrotum, do those two things tie together? We’ll never know, I’m sure, but perhaps the Crack Clergy CIA can tell us? Oh please, G-d, make it stop! The pain, the paaaaainnnnn!

“For war, billions more, but no more for the poor,” Lowery continued, a take-off of a lyric from the song “A Time to Love” which drew a roaring standing ovation.

What? The song or the mindless pap from the pulpit? Doesn’t make a lot of difference, I suppose. Nevermind. The next time we’re faced with a national security threat from maniacs murdering thousands of our citizens, we’ll just respond by creating another midnight basket weaving ball program (see? Two initiatives with one genius Imperial stroke!) and all of our troubles will be solved. Or we could just stack the poor like cordwood and use them for cover.

Sorry, but I have to go wipe my eyes now. Those tears of laughter are interfering with my vision.

    Carter Kills At King Service…

While the funeral of the first lady of the civil rights movement, Coretta Scott King, could have been a dour affair it turned out to be quite the opposite thanks to a stirring eulogy by former President Jimmy Carter….

dhimmi carter has never been known for common sense or taste. The people in the audience who actually applauded him deserve a swift kick in the ass. :moon: How dare the dumocrats use a funeral as a platform to ridicule the President. Well we are talking about the same party which started the kkk to keep the “slaves” on the plantation. Must be why they keep using that reference. They do know so much about it after all. How can people of color be so fucking stupid as to support the very party which started segregation and the clan to enforce their idea of justice? They don’t have a fucking brain cell between them. The reverend lowery is a fucking asshole with jesse look at me jackson syndrome. If he gave up a 10th of his income to help the poor, then he would possibly have the right to spout that bullshit. Otherwise, he needs to keep his damn hypocritical trap shut. :stfu: The family shows their lack of respect for their mother by allowing these morons to use her even in death to push their twisted vision. :puke: No matter how bad a republican candidate is I’m voting party lines in every election locally. No more. He’s a bitter, mean-spirited old fool who openly sides with America’s enemies and never passes up any opportunity to take malicious digs at the Republicans in general and Bush in particular.

And I’m sure that History’s Greatest Monster reminded everyone that it was the KENNEDYS that were responsible for that. No?

Jimmy Carter was the worst President in modern US history. His administration was a bigger failure than Harding. Bigger than Hoover. Bigger than Grant. In the two decades that followed his crushing defeat in 1980, he was ridiculed by everyone, including Denocrats.

Now, all of a sudden, he is embraced by the DNC leadership as wise and noble. That in and of itself speaks volumes about the current state of the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party isn’t just bankrupt when it comes to ideas. They are actually proud to embrace ideals that failed so miserably when put into action. This would just be folly if we weren’t at war.

But, we are at war, and Democrats are dangerous to our survival.

I thought it was interesting what Clinton said. I notice the news doesn’t cover THAT quote where he basically said let’s not forget this here is a woman (pointing at the coffin) and this is about her.

It appears that Hil’s influence is waning and his daddy figure Bush Sr just may teaching/influencing this man to have a little class.

Funny, the MSM avoids that because it basically makes the toolheads look like the biggest tackiest asshats. Had this been a Repub, they would have printed it with a byline saying hoping to derail previous comments bullshit.

Typical of the MSM. Suprising coming from Clinton. That is why the DNC is hailing Carter, they are starting to consider Clinton a turncoat.

    I have a plan.
It is a plan to redefine the standards of decency.
It is a plan to make a new low the new high.
It is a plan flaunt our ability to transform any venue into a rally,
    A rally against common sense,
    A rally against reason,
    A rally against common courtesy.
I believe we can hijack the funeral of a B-list civil rights figure.
I believe we can pay lip service to the dead, and make the stage a bully pulpit.
I believe we can insult the leader of the free world, to his face,
In a venue where his standing, and his general manners will prevent him from saying or doing anything in response.
I believe we can get away with it, because we have sold the press on the immaculate sanctity of our stance, on any subject.
I believe we can get away with it, because the President’s advisors will fail to tell him that he needs to get up with his wife, excuse himself politely, and leave, when it ceases to be a funeral.
I believe we can get away with it because our supporters are rabid, and shrill, and will support anything we do to hasten the fall of this great nation,
I believe we can get away with it because we have distracted and divided the people of this country.
We have cried “Racism!” where none exists.
We have cried “Unecessary Death!” over the corpses of those who volunteered to defend us.
We have cried “Poverty!” where to poorest of us has luxuries undrempt of in much of the world.
We have cried “Health Care!” as we have shoved the last french fry down our brother’s throat.
We have cried “Civil Rights Violation!” when those charged with the safety of this nation have acted on their mandate.
    I have a plan.
And though I may not be there in the ruins with you, I dream of the destruction of all that has made this country great,
Of forcing it in to the mediocrity from which it came,
Of discouraging the forging of something greater than the sum of its parts,
By fostering the belief of hyphenated-Americanism.
I have a dream, now given form, that will unite the entire world,
The unity of fear, of mediocrity, of despair, of destraction, of death.
    The death of liberty.
    The death of innovation.
    The death of hope.
It is the promised land, where everyone is equal, because everyone is the same.
It is coming brothers and sisters,
And We are doing all we can to usher its arrival.

*What??? You mean it has already been done???
Damn.* Turns off the light and shuts the door.

I sent the Southern Christian Leadership Conference an email yesterday. The president’s box was full, so I had to use the regular forum. Here is the email:

    To Whom It May Concern:

I find your organization to be noble. I have always respected the Civil Rights Movement, especially the way the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. went about helping secure long overdue rights for many Americans. His “I Have a Dream” speech is beyond touching and the phrase “judged by the content of their character, rather than by the color of their skin” brings tears to my eyes. The concept of civil disobedience is inspiring. I must say however, that I am saddened by the actions of Rev. Joseph Lowery today. His statements are not productive, not unifying, and above all, extremely disrespectful to Coretta Scott King. Politics have no place at a funeral. Everyone has the right to express dissent with any decision made by our government; however, I was raised to believe that there is a time and a place for everything. This wasn’t the time or the place. He should be ashamed of his behavior and your organization should distance themselves from his actions. Thank you for your time.

Yep, the Donks are still stuck on stupid…

…I can’t say I’m surprised at their behavior at the King funeral, and I strongly suspected, once I learned that President Bush would be attending, that at least some of the Donks would use the opportunity to launch the usual childishly-spiteful partisan attacks at the President. Once again, the Democrats have put the welfare of their party above everything else, from such mundane matters as simple decency (showing respect during a funeral) to the very security of our country and the safety of our citizens. The Coretta Scott King funeral gave the Donks the same opportunity to display restraint, class and decorum that Jyllands-Posten gave the Muslim world when it published those now-infamous cartoons…and produced much the same result.

This is just further evidence that Donks cannot be entrusted with any political office more important than that of dogcatcher. And even then, they’d probably concentrate on rounding up the household pets of Republicans first…

Considering that it was One AG named Kennedy who did it, someone seems to be devloping selective Altizimers.

And Peanut Dick did such a good job about Iran. Hey isn’t the president one of those Embassey hostage takers? I would have had Peanut dick with some rope and a tree with some assembly required.

and about Katrina: Governor Blancho was more worried about image then Doing something like I dunno- Asking the federal Government for assistance!

I watched the funeral along with some of the speakers. It was only one notch below the Wellstone “memorial/rally”. This was simply an opportunity for the left to get more FREE television time to use for policical gain and don’t think the rest of the country didn’t notice.

These people are below pond scum.

I was flipping thru the XM radio channels today and ran across Air America for the first time. I could only tolerate a few minutes of it. These people have completely lost all sense of morality. Their hatred for the President goes far beyond anything healthy.

The left might wish no direct harm to the US or our allies, but I seriously don’t think they want to see the President get ANY credit for what good has taken place over the past 5 years. They are more than willing to amplify soldier deaths, business failures, natural disaster etc. occur if they can put the blame in the Oval office directly.

I am looking forward to the coming elections because those of us on the right are really getting fucking sick and tired of this constant bitching by the left. Either come up with some suggestions or options of get out of our way.

So Hillary is saying that President Bush should have captured Bin Laden by now. (????)
