Next Time, Let Them Rot

(Thanks to too many LCs to mention, as well as LC & IB Jay of Stop the ACLU who provides us all with an excellent summary)
I’m ashamed.
I’m ashamed for suggesting in the past that the objectively pro-terrorist “Christian Peace Team” activists who got kidnapped by terrorists in Iraq should be rescued regardless of their views.
I’m ashamed for assuming that they, regardless of their idiotic views, were just misguided fools with the best intentions who didn’t deserve to have their heads sawed off with a rusty knife.
I’m ashamed for having let my humanity think the best of vermin who ought to be killed in the worst ways imaginable to mankind.
As you all know by now, our forces, at great risk to their own lives, managed to rescue those bastards, yet they cannot find it in their “Christian” hearts to thank their rescuers. Oh no, not only do they not have a single “thank you” for the fine people who saved them from a grisly beheading at great risk to themselves, they add insult to injury by blaming the whole thing on those very same soldiers who saved their worthless asses.
Well, no more. From now on I’ll be cheering for the terrorists when they nab those assholes. I’ll even pay for their hacksaws, should one of them break while cutting through the necks of those stinking, filthy, useless ingrates.
May Satan curse you and your families and friends to the seventh generation for your ingratitude, and may G-d grant me the joy of watching your horrible, painful and inhumane punishment over and over again.
I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.

The “Christians” who do this have an axe to grind. They see Bush as responsible for the conflict and they are blind to the larger issues of global war. They concentrate on the tragedy of individuals, without recognizing that some destruction is an unavoidable consequence of the struggle for peace. Don’t expect a thanks; they believe America is at fault for all the evils in the world. In spite of seeing one of their own killed by these barbarians, they probably still misplace the blame.
I have dealt with this self-righteous kind before, when I was waitressing while I was in college. On Sunday nights, like clockwork, a large group would show up after a church function (I couldn’t tell you what denomination they were). They would plow through the salad bar, leaving a major mess in their wake. You could always count on a toilet plugged with God knows what. You would run your feet off catering to their whims (we all have to be on special diets, and we all have to have separate tabs! Don’t forget - it is our privilege to completely rearrange the dining room and let our children melt crayons in the fireplace!) Never an apology, infrequently an insultingly meager tip. Often, they would try to waylay the waitstaff so they could impress upon them their message of salvation.
I was raised a “Christian”, and I have no need for Christians like these! Actions speak louder than words, and these people who go to Iraq like this don’t accomplish much except to endanger other people. One good Christian soldier (and I mean that in the sense of our military personnel who are there in body and spirit) will accomplish more good than 50 of these fools. I say, issue one final warning to these misguided idiots about the danger of their behavior - then we should wash our hands of them.
March 23rd, 2006 at 7:36 pmSo the rescuers acted more as selfless Christians than the hateful people they rescued who say they are Christians. this shit is just insane, i can’t really digest and compute it…
March 23rd, 2006 at 7:44 pmWell this organization just hurtled to the end of the “rescue queue”. And in fact, I imagine the “rescue queue” just became a straw full of peas and when you fall out the other end… well maybe Darwin was on to something after all.
Misha, this is not the time to get all weak on worthless fuckwits. Only seventh?
March 23rd, 2006 at 7:53 pmDon’t hold back, Sire. Tell your loyal followers how you really feel…
March 23rd, 2006 at 7:55 pmShould have let them die,
the world would be a better place for having lost them.
I can’t believe it.. not even a “thanks.”
Where is Vlad the impaler when you need him…
March 23rd, 2006 at 7:57 pmI can believe it. I’ve known their kind…and laughed in their face when they damned me to hell. No problem, I’m just waitin’ for the self righteous hankerin’ for their front row seat judgment day. I hope they get it….and I’ll still be laughing.
March 23rd, 2006 at 8:02 pmAlright, I hate to blaspheme, but goddammit this pisses me off!
These fucktards are the polar opposite of Fred FuckADuck Phelps. They think we’re to blame for the goddamn war? Bullshit, it’s fuckin Islamofascism.
Alright, I know these tards don’t represent an inkling of Christians, as I know em, but what kind of moron thinks they ought to go to Mooslimb Land and try and kiss ass to the mullahs and the headcutters?
At least when missionaries of old were in danger, they took firearms and a Bible. They were prepared. These fuckwits were not. They were prepared to fuck over the USA and our allies. They were prepared to take the side of Nick Berg’s murderers. They were and still are prepared to dare say God only hears their prayers and agrees with them only.
Bullshit.
God does not fully agree with any one man, because let’s face it, each man has sin and God does not agree with sin.
He disagrees with my language, my drinking, and probably how I love eye for an eye responses.
However, I bet God isn’t too crazy on the Pussy Patrol in Iraq. I bet he wasn’t too fond of these posers endangering our troops and our allies, who had to rescue them.
My honest opinion. If you’re a missionary and you’re doing your mission work for some geopolitical bullshit, like these peaceniks were, you forgot God years ago. You forgot your roots and that people will risk themselves to save your worthless ass. Stay the fuck out where you’re not wanted, you peacenik dicklicks!
Otherwise, we ain’t coming back to help your stupid asses!
Anyone see THE UNIT this past Tuesday? It dealt with the head officer going solo to rescue some missionaries. They stayed in a hostile zone, in Indonesia. REal smart Christians. I shudder that’s what TV thinks Christians are. They stay and demand the US officer NOT RESCUE them. Going against my better judgment, he ties em up and takes em all back.
I’m sorry, I hate to sound bad, but if you willingly go into a war zone and think you aren’t gonna be susceptible to bullets, physics, and the laws of probabilities in war zones, then maybe you need to leave the world before you get someone else killed.
No offense to any Christian missionaries who are doing good and have enough sense to keep the US Embassy or Military on speed dial.
March 23rd, 2006 at 8:07 pmI say we give ‘em back to the islamonazi’s.
March 23rd, 2006 at 8:19 pmAll day I checked, Mischa, knowing you would say what we all wanted to. And you did.
March 23rd, 2006 at 8:35 pmIt makes me sad-you know. Gratitude is one of the hallmarks of being a Christian.
All they had to do was say-”thank-you.” It would have meant so much.
Here’s some pics of the CPT clowns after four months of the tender mercies of the terrorist towel heads…
March 23rd, 2006 at 8:45 pmTie ‘em up, drop ‘em back off in front of the raided house and leave a brand new set of Cutco® knives as a “parting gift”. (Or an old, rusted bucketful of butter knives.)
F.E.T.E.
March 23rd, 2006 at 8:46 pmjuandos,
I could have gone the rest of my life without seeing that.
Anyway, we should drop those ungrateful ingrates bastards back off where we found them. And by drop, I mean from 30,000 feet. No chute. With concrete boots.
March 23rd, 2006 at 8:55 pmHow anyone,Christian or otherwise could act like that towards people who risked their lives to rescue them is beyond me. I just don’t get it!
March 23rd, 2006 at 8:59 pmthey’re not Christians. They’re using that label to try to lend validity to their seditious views. We should tell these so called “peace activists” that if they bring their freakshow to a theatre of war, then they are on their own…..expect no help if they get in trouble.
March 23rd, 2006 at 9:03 pmCould we substitute hogs for concrete boots and make sure the drop zone is Teharan?
If that doesn’t work, we can always ask the Chinese to work it out…
Report: Cosmetics firm using remains of executed Chinese
A Chinese cosmetics company has been using skin taken from the bodies of executed convicts to develop beauty products for sale in Europe, a London newspaper reported.
An agent for the company informed customers it is developing collagen for lip and wrinkle treatments from skin taken from prisoners after they had been shot.…
Really does make one appreciate this country for all its alledged and real flaws, doesn’t it?
March 23rd, 2006 at 9:06 pmI was furious most of the day over this. Still am, a bit.
I did notice something. I haven’t looked through all of the press reports, etc… did the hostages themselves make statements? Or just their organizations? I’m just wondering if the hostages themselves felt gratitude (and expressed it to the rescuers), and their handlers just wrote the normal filth. It wouldn’t be the first time that happened in some form or another.
I know I tend to be an optomist to the point of annoyance… it was just a thought… But, yeah… the organization, as a whole, can rot in hell for all I care.
March 23rd, 2006 at 9:06 pmTrue dat.
Hell, we could do one better. Load up a few C-17s with all manner of swine in the the cargo bays and eject them all over Tehran. Now that would be a sight.
You could even use different sizes.
Piglets and potbellies: Cluster Piggies
Standard size: 500 Pounder All Purpose Porker
Wild Boars: Bunker Oinker
Rosie O’Donnell: MOAB
Methinks you might need a C-5 for the latter though.
March 23rd, 2006 at 9:28 pmSend their organizations a bill for the rescue.
March 23rd, 2006 at 10:00 pmThe combined special forces (Brit, Iraqi, USA) did a great job to make the rescue without firing a shot.
I am proud of them.
As for the CPT nad other moonbat missionaries in Iraq, if they get taken hostage - WE MUST TRY AND RESCUE THEM, no matter how ingrateful and rude they are after the rescue.
Our military is composed of fine people, who are so superior to those CPT folks. We defend their lives and their rights to be idiots. It can be thankless duty, but it is a patriotic duty.
BRAVO ZULU to the rescue team
March 23rd, 2006 at 10:15 pmNope.
That attitude is dead and buried, as far as I’m concerned.
Mind you, the reason for it isn’t that they’re a bunch of ignorant, terror-supporting, America-hating assholes, it’s not their fault that their mothers chose to raise the placenta instead of the baby.
The reason is, in a nutshell, that this isn’t the movies. When those fine soldiers went in to rescue their sorry asses they risked their lives. They could’ve been killed. Somewhere in the world a mother, father, brother, sister, husband, wife, son and/or daughter would get that dreaded knock on the door and their lives would be shattered.
That goes with the territory, it’s part of the job, but if the shitbird who gets his worthless ass saved as a result of a complete stranger risking his life for him can’t even find it in himself to utter a simple “thank you”, then the risk ain’t worth it. Not only is it not worth it, it’s a complete waste of human life.
From now on, my attitude is “let them be beheaded, I don’t care.”
I don’t want to share a planet with subhuman scum as ungrateful as that, and I certainly don’t want to risk my life or ask anybody else to risk theirs to save them.
Let them die. Better still, let’s round them up, tie a bow on their heads and hand them over to the “insurgents” with our compliments.
I’ve had it with ingrates.
F.E.T.E!
March 23rd, 2006 at 10:26 pmRoger that….
Emperor Misha, I’m kinda torn on this issue. Torn between letting the islamobeasts have their way with the ungrateful bastards or rescuing them and itemizing the expense of the rescue mission, then billing their host organization for the costs. Being that these are mostly “charitable” or “non-profit” organizations, after picking up the bill for a couple of rescues…they won’t be able to afford any more peace vigils on the soil of our enemies.
Now God forbid that any of our heroes get killed on one of these missions, but if that does happen then the family should have legal recourse to sue the crap out of said host organization as well….
Blackiswhite is there any legal precedent for that?
March 23rd, 2006 at 10:53 pmI don’t have a problem with the expense involved. Heaven knows we waste money on worse causes than that.
I do, however, have a problem with the potential loss of human life, and no amount of punitive and restitutory damages can make up for that.
No more.
If they want to be assholes, let them. I’m not lifting a finger to save them from themselves.
Personal responsibility and all that.
And I haven’t been asking for a lot either. I don’t expect the morons to become conservative hawks as a result of their lives being saved.
All I’ve been asking for is a simple “thank you.”
If they can’t find even that in themselves, they’re not worth wasting breath on.
March 23rd, 2006 at 11:18 pmSure is. Coast Guard and the Forest Service bill for rescues if the people being rescued have ignored warnings before getting in trouble.
March 23rd, 2006 at 11:24 pmIf you go to the cpt.org website, you will see that they have a strange affinity for the terrorists. They stand in front of Israeli troops to try and get them to stop fighting the muslim terrorists, but you don’t see them standing in front of the rock throwing terrorists. You also don’t see them riding Israeli buses trying to stop homicide bombers. And strangely, you didn’t see them in Iraq while Saddam was “king” trying to stop the murder of the Kurds.
Smells like hypocrisy.
http://saintknowitall.blogspot.com/2006/03/peace-activits-dont-love-all-of-their.html
March 23rd, 2006 at 11:51 pmIt seems they may have had their “righteous” noses stuck high enough in the air to smell some stink about their ingratitude after all:
I guess this recent revision to the above link is at the least a reluctant “thank you”, but note also the caveat about no shots having been fired. Perhaps they’d have been even stingier with their gratitude had a few islamofascist dogs been killed in the process.
March 24th, 2006 at 12:20 amHere’s a rather poignant quote from Orwell (The Cruel Pacifist):
Just goes to show that the more things change the more they stay the same.
March 24th, 2006 at 12:25 amWow.
They actually got around to saying “thank you”?
Now, their gratitude for “no shots being fired” I can accept. You can interpret it as gratitude for nobody being harmed which, although I personally don’t really care if terrorists are harmed, is not necessarily the same as saying that you love the terrorists. You just abhor violence no matter what the reason. Very humanitarian, even if it’s utterly stupid.
The problem is, seeing as how it’s an “addendum”, that I’m not buying it. The very first words out of your mouth when you’re rescued from certain death should be “thank you.” You can then add whatever nonsense you wish, that falls under your right to be a moron.
The way the CPT offered their “thanks” is nothing but damage control, and they can go fuck themselves.
I’m still not buying.
March 24th, 2006 at 12:30 amSend CPT the fucking bill to pay for the time and effort those troops had to put forth to save their shitty asses, as well as the medical treatment, shelter, and subsequent trip home. Why should the American taxpayer foot the bill for these cowards? If they do go back, they deserve whatever happens to them.
March 24th, 2006 at 7:26 amI was with you until the cursing part, Misha.
Speaking as a practicing Pentecostal, I was frankly more than a little perturbed when I read that particular ‘graph. I’m not a mystic or one of those Christians who thinks every bit of trouble that smacks her on the head should be blamed on the Devil. Nevertheless, it’s not cool to curse people like that, even if they’re ungrateful about an act of kindness. Forgive my bluntness, but that makes you sound like you’re into witchcraft. And that, as you should know, isn’t a basic Christian tenet.
I suppose I could say “trust me” on this, but that would be the easy way of saying, “I know what I’m talking about, and I might not have evidence for it, but trust me, anyway.” Well, I do know what I’m talking about - I’ve seen things most people don’t pay attention to when it comes to verbally cursing people, witchcraft and shit like that that would make your skin crawl. (That, after all, is why Pentecostals can sometimes be a pain in the ass when you talk about the occult, the Holy Spirit and other stuff of the spiritual nature.) That’s where I place my creds when it comes to this type of thing.
Smack ‘em for being ungrateful, uncouth and generally stupid, but leave the cursing business to God. I’m serious. Otherwise you might get more than you were asking for, and the consequences won’t be pretty for you or them.
March 24th, 2006 at 9:16 amTo those of the CPT,
March 24th, 2006 at 10:11 amIf you truly “love your enemies”, then you would direct your love towards the U.S. and coalition troops in Iraq and elsewhere, and towards the members of Israeli Defense Forces and Jewish civilians in Israel, because it is clear from your despicably one-sided activities around the world that you view your enemies to be the U.S. government and military, as well as the Jewish State. I have never heard from your organization a single world of sympathy with those those who suffer at the hands of Islamic extremists; to the contrary, you blame such victims for creating the circumstances that have “forced” the extremists to wage bloody war that does not discriminate between soldier and civilian.
Thus, the Islamists are not your “enemies”, because your efforts are spent pleasing them and expressing understanding for their cause and attending to their dubious needs. Your rivals are clearly those that fight them - so where is your vaunted love for American soldiers and the people of Israel - your most bitter enemies?
You are not the servants of G-d, but rather patsies of the devil, and you’re full of putrid shit.
Very Truly Yours,
Because the “Lions of Allah” scurry like roaches when faced with faced with Americans who aren’t trussed up for carving like a Christmas turkey.
I doubt that these “peace activsts” will return to Iraq, as a book deal and the college lecture circuit now awaits them back home. They will be lauded for the courage of their convictions; having watched their friend sliced and diced, then being spared a similar fate by a timely and heroic rescue, and yet they wtihold any gratitude and still blame the bad ol’ US of A. This is what today’s Left considers moral fiber.
That is why I shifted to the Right. The Left has become infected with the mush-headed dogma of New-Age thought, where people are judged by how strongly they feel about their beliefs and not the actual substance of those beliefs.
March 24th, 2006 at 10:55 amThese activists will be praised for being willing to die for their cause, just as the Islamists laud the suicide bomber for being even more willing to die for theirs.
What separates children (of all ages) from grown ups is the ability to make objective and quantifiable value judgements. If you can’t evaluate, you have no value as an individual. In other words, these people are truly worthless.
Interesting points, Rhi.
I shall definitely have to ponder them some more. Yes, cursing is a serious matter that should not be undertaken lightly, but I do believe that there’s some precedent for it.
Nevertheless, good points.
March 24th, 2006 at 4:42 pmBlackiswhite is there any legal precedent for that?
Can’t say I’ve looked into it. I know that an ambulance company can send you the bill for a ride to the hospital, I’ve heard that the Coast Guard will bill the knuckleheads who go out on Saginaw Bay when the ice is melting (I don’t know if they bill or not.), but in either case, it isn’t the same as being rescued from your own stupidity in a war zone.
Seems to me a humble, but genuine “Thank you.” might be in order.
March 24th, 2006 at 6:52 pmIt seems that in addition to feeling no gratitude and not saying even a “Thank You”, these ingrates decided not to help either.
Assholes
March 24th, 2006 at 10:12 pmYou guys probably already know these creeps at CRT.ORG have an “Adopt a detainee” program, don’t you?
These people are not and never have been Christians.
Just another attempt of the socialist left to hijack a title that they think will confuse people.
Sad.
March 24th, 2006 at 10:22 pmOops, thould be CPT.ORG.
My bad!
March 24th, 2006 at 10:23 pm
