Just a reminder to all LCs (and Denizens too, since this’ll be cross-posted in the Realm™) -

Don’t buy anything today.  Big-ticket items, groceries, gas if you can possibly avoid it - anything.  Keep your wallets in your pockets and your purses at home.

Instead, buy everything you want/need/gotta have/can’t do without tomorrow,  May 1st.

The reason, as you should know by now is that the pendejos  who are still here illegally plan on attempting to cripple our country’s economy - as if they think that the 11-12 million of them  is somehow a larger number than the 280-290 million  of us.

Oh, and if you should happen to notice any businesses closed tomorrow for this illegal alien temper tantrum, make a note of it and resolve not to do business there again.  Let us know, too, so that we can show them our  economic clout, as well.

Thatisall.

Better yet, if you can do it take Tuesday off from work. Go down to where the illegals hang out waiting for day labor work. When someone shows up looking for labor, raise your hand. Spend a day doing a job “American’s don’t want to do.”

The gall of these sons a’ bitches. “Yeah, we’re here illegally, and you better like it or else.” And the anthem in Spanish - that’s just another thumb of the nose at us - “well, okay, we’ll do the anthem, but we’ll do it our way, and if you don’t like it you can go to hell.” I used to be open borderish, because I lived in the fool’s paradise of thinking that they just wanted what I have, and how could I deny them merely because I chose my grandparents more wisely? But they don’t want to become part of us. They want to take over. And if we don’t kick them out before they do, it will be our fault.*

This event is being billed as “A Day Without Immigrants”, which is, of course, utter bullshit. What we’re really talking about here is a day without illegal aliens. I don’t think that just a one day boycott is enough to convince us of their indispensible value to our country. Personally, I’d like to see them take off at least a year if they really want to make a statement; stay away from work, stay away from our schools, just stay the fuck away. Somehow I think we’ll figure out a way to get by without them.

It’s also probably too much to hope for that the invaders will also boycott our public roads and parks, free medical, fire and ambulance services, spawning “anchor” babies, muling dope over the border and engaging in gang crime - even for one day.

We will feel it at work big time tomorrow. Most, and I do mean most of the painters are illegals or sympathyzers. Amd many have made it clear they won’t be around. Imagine that? I will be able to actually TALK to my customers…. My company knows this, so I don’t give a shit about how they feel……..but in the company’s defense they do not hire illegals. They sell to them but won’t hire them. Now why am I grinnin’? Very strict about that, you gotta have a clean DMV, no rap sheet and are checked out by company security.
As for buying things? Well, at my store they do sell wasp killer aerosols…maybe I’ll pick up a case. Been thinking about it. I will cruise by Home Depot tomorrow to see how many day laborers are out and about. Gas is easy, with my one forty or so mile round trip commute I buy gas every day. I just home and pray none of these mother fuckers try to keep ME from going to work………….

We are talking about a finite situation here. Business is effected whether you spend your money today or tomorrow. It all evens out.

I certainly am not going to curtail my shopping needs on either day. In fact, the silver lining in all of this would mean that the lines at the registers and all of the good parking slots will be available.

Mark6591 , you are correct. Out here in Mexifornia, I being in the Central Valley…half of my friends are of Mecian descent. And one is flat out embarrassed by these antics. Another is coming to work, his wife is pregnant and they need the money. But a story to warm my heart. My wife also works for a paint company, a competitor located two doors down from where I be. Yes, Cogswells Cogs and Spacleys Sprockets, the subject of company lore far and wide. But where she is, a guy named Carlos, he worked his butt off and finally earned his citizenship papers. Just took the oath. One Mexican guy, guessing Carlos would side with him, asked him what he was going to do May 1. Carlos looked him square in the eye and said, in English…”I’m not a fuckin’ wetback…I’M AN AMERICAN! And I’m comin’ to work!”
I am quite aware we are simply trading days we buy things….but what it can do is minimize the daily effect it would have. If illegals don’t wish to buy May 1, no problem. I will. And they can buy May 2.
I won’t. So overall it would probably cna ge little. But on that particular day………..so it’s Manana for my wasp killer and stuff…….

However, the PR government is supposed to shut down tomorrow cause they’re broke until the end of the fiscal year. I plan to go out and spend lots tomorrow to a) screw the pendejos, and 2) support the local economy, which will survive in spite of the crooked politicians. Jaybear said something ive been thinking about as well.

Ask any Cuban if they are Hispanic and they will by all chance go ape shit on you. This i know , as at my previous place of employment, there were a few older Cuban guys who did not associate with the Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, Mexicans etc. as the others always went on how they felt they are both better than the gringos and also mistreated when they got everything they demanded from management.

The two Cuban guys i was good friends with had both fled from Cuba when Fidel and his commie buddies came into control. They were both very gratefull to not only have reached our shores and allowed to stay but to become American citizens as well and both were strongly Republican, anti-Castro and compared the Democrats to the Communists{saying that both political groups are practically the same}.

AS for Monday, all i can say that here were i live in Joisey there are very few Hispanics, and i have seen maybe a handfull of them{mostly doing work for landscaping companys}, the closests area with any large number of Hispanics being Dover which is about a 35 minute drive from me. I have been to the nearest Home Depot and i can say that all the employees i have seen where either whites or blacks{i prefer Lowes, to be honest, they have one just down the strip from Home Depot}.

I do know that the NJ Attorney General attended a rally by illegal aliens in Newark, NJ in SUPPORT of illegal aliens and this is the woman who is supposed to UPHOLD the LAWS of NJ and she wants them broken.
There is a push building up to have her removed from office.

I can only see that these protests by ILLEGAL aliens, who have broken laws to get here, will backfire on them and that the US politicians will wake up and do what the LEGAL AMERICAN citizens are saying about this subject..after all,WE got these politicians in office, wether Republican or Democrat, and WE can get them out…the ILLEGALS have no US Constitutional Rights as they are NOT Legal Citizens of America and as such shouldnt have any sway in OUR politics.

YOu know, the ones who risk all crossing shark filled waters on anything that floats only to get sent back to uncle fidel’s resort. I thought they might harbor some hard feelings towards the free ride their Latino brethren are getting by breaking the law. The Cubans in America are good people, and it breaks my heart to see the treatment they get compared to the illegals.

I had to turn off the news a couple of hours ago, they are treating this travesty as the sequel to the Selma March led by ML King. There is no comparison. Think what you may of King, but he led peaceful marches with legitamate grievances. This thing tomorrow is nothing more than a bunch of malcontents finding an excuse to miss work and school.

Speaking of school, the principal at the school where I teach sent a staff wide email saying that anyone who misses school due to the demonstrations MUST be marked absent and lose credit for any work due on that day….God bless her, she is one of good liberals.

Tomorrow’s “Day Without an Immigrant” demonstrations aim to highlight immigrants’ place in the economy — whether illegal or legal — by having them close their businesses, skip school or work and avoid spending money.

It seems like the Mexicans of Latin America are like the paleostinians of the Middle East. Not sure what got them that wrap but it is what it is.

Since Tyson Meats and Perdue Farms are is support of this boycott by illegal aliens I will never buy their products again. I’m not surprised they would show their support since they want a class of slave labor they can exploit. I only hope that liberals nationwide lose their jobs to illegals. If our spineless politicians want to legitamize these lawbreakers and open OUR coffers to them then I hope these employers say “Hell, if I’m not going to get in trouble for hiring illegals then Liberal Johnny and Liberal Sally YOU’RE FIRED! Rosa and Jose, go take their positions and you’re getting paid half of what the liberal idiots were making”. Illegals: “Gracias gringo! Hasta la vista Johnny and Sally! Stupido liberals.”

I spoke to one of my vendors last week who I suspect has some illegals working for him. I told him I expect my delivery Monday regardless whether some of them are gone protesting. I also said that he should take their absence as them quitting. I suspect he wont let some ingrates inconvenience the customers he’s in business to serve and will take action if they don’t show.

America is well on the road to its Latinization. Soon we’ll be on a fast track to socialism and this country will become the very third world shithole these illegals fled in the first place. Our neutered limp-wristed politicians better put a stop to the madness and enforce even stricter measures than originally outlined in the Sensenbrenner (sp?) bill. While watching the Sacramento/San Antonio basketball game I was listening to the Terry Anderson radio show. I’m lucky I only caught the last hour of the show because I would’ve developed an aneurysm if I heard more. Terry, who I like, was discussing illegal immigration, which he has for years, and he had so much infuriating info. We can all add Denny’s restaurant to our boycott of businesses that support this illegal alien march. Also one of our local politicians in California, Gloria Romero, will be participating in the protest. Californians, lets kick her out of office at our first opportunity. In the meantime someone put a burning bag of shit on her doorstep.

Terry then played audio of a racist Mexican professor. This piece of shit professor was saying that the “browning of America” is underway, that they’re “changing the country”, “there is a transfer of power” and “time is on our side”. These insurrectionists should be hung from a tree like a piñata and beaten senseless.

There were many outraged callers to Terry’s show and one woman, the daughter of Mexican immigrants, was so incensed over this protest. She said the new Spanish rendition of our national anthem was not only an insult for being translated but that the lyrics were also changed. She mentioned one line where AMERICANS WERE BEING MOCKED! The translated line says: “Do you still see your banners now?”……FUCK THEM!!!!

Another black man from Mississippi called and said he had a verbal altercation with some illegal alien supporters and they called him a monkey and told him to go back to Africa. America is THE MOST tolerant nation on earth and this diversity training bullshit is a scam.

    Do I hear an Amen?

Amen. It’s another of the shakedown scams, similar ti the old “Equal Opportunity Employer” that virtually every company with more that 3 employees states somewhere in their business plan. That was done to keep the Reverend Jackson and the Rainbow Coalition race card extortionists off their back. All it amounts to is a restatment that they’ll zealously obey the law, which they should be doing anyway. I wish they’d be forced to do it with the illegal invaders too.

One wonders why Librul Moonbats don’t comprehend how illegal workers at less than minimum wage drive down the employment opportunities for the low paid legal workers, the very workers that Libruls claim to want to help.

So let me get this straight - they’re marching in protest of what, exactly? 99% of Americans are in total support of immigration and believe in the importance of immigrants. The country was built by immigrants, albeit better ones than we have now. So these people must be marching in support of ILLEGAL immigration, then? Since when did a crime not become a crime? To add, why is it not acceptable to even consider illegal…well…illegal? What more do these people want? Is this march really necessary? Are we supposed to see them take a day off en masse and suddenly be convinced of how important it must be to have people working illegally? I honestly don’t see what they’re trying to accomplish with this protest. They’re protesting, it seems, the fact that their breaking the law is illegal. I shudder to think of how absolutely, unbelievably S.T.U.P.I.D. the target audience for this protest’s point must be.

How about a march of “THANK YOU”? That’s right, THANK YOU! Thank you for allowing me to work in direct violation of your laws, having 15 babies and for feeding them all. Thank you for allowing me to earn enough money to live a good life despite my being uneducated, not learning english, and not even applying for citizenship? How about THANK YOU for even considering to award me citizenship even though I’m here illegally?
Here I wallow in canada, 3 years and counting I have been trying to get citizenship legally. I would NEVER lower myself to insult the hand that feeds in such a disgusting protest, and I have way more reason to protest than these spoiled, ungrateful, uneducated, illiterate breeders.

Good luck with it. Most of us are pretty fed up with the denigration of the concept of nationality in the UK too.

It is perfectly true that when any group has become part of the economy, has jobs, businesses etc. that sudden withdrawal will cause problems. That does not prove that they are actually a net benefit.

It is mathematical absurdity that those on lower incomes than average can somehow increase average prosperity. If the jobs they do are so essential, how come, in a free market, that they are low paid?

The reality is that they probably just create their own market. More people = more services needed. This treadmill does nothing for quality of life of citizens.

Tom Tancredo Weighs In On the Boycott

Must read for all who oppose illegal immigration. Too long to quote in its entirety:

We are talking about illegal aliens, not mere “immigrants.” If legal immigrants stopped working for a day, we would miss the services of physicians, nurses, computer programmers, writers, actors, musicians, entrepreneurs of all stripes, and some airline pilots…as well as the CEO of Google. That would be more than an inconvenience, but it won’t happen because legal immigrants are not out marching angrily for rights that are already protected by our courts.

But if illegal aliens all took the day off and were truly invisible for one day, there would be some plusses along with the mild inconveniences.

Just got back from the doctor’s office. Got an 11:15am appointment when I called at 7:10am. Went to the local supermarket/pharmacy to fill the prescriptions. No stupid gangsta’ rap thumping, green/gold/orange/purple 1983 Olds Cutlasses in the parking lot. Went to the deli for lunch while waiting for the gov’t-approved dope. No line; just me. A grumpy-looking Latina working behind the counter served me, but didn’t spit in my food (I watched, just in case). Went back for the dope; the pharmacist asked if I saw the march that had taken place in front of the market. In a louder than usual voice I said that no, I hadn’t seen a bunch of Communist sympathizers lately. Everybody within earshot laughed (two Blacks, two Whites, a Mexican, and the Filipina pharmacist).

I also made a note of all the Mexican restaurants that were closed while driving to/from the doctor’s office and supermarket. Guess who never gets my money again?

Interesting how my day played out….initially business was dead slow. As I would expect in the construction industry. Especially seeing how it is rare you see anybody not Latino working there now, at least here. Some contractors are screaming bloody murder, I say FUCK ‘EM!
Those assholes helped create this problem, they can damn well live with the result. I’ve seen those larcenous bastards burn people for overtime, make them perform hazardous work. I’d much rather pay more for goods and services employing American citizens. Seein’ as how ass sucking Bush wants cheap labor and the socialist demos want the welfare votes. And realizing it costs the average California resident a cool hundred bucks a month to either incarcerate, medically treat or educate these illegals, Yeah, I’m a bit pissed! And that doesn’t include welfare, legal advice, etc.
Between the two I also realized I am sooooo screwed.
As I say, I’d rather pay more, not to mention I would probably make more.
I was told I could leave at ten, starting at six-thirty. Not that I mind the time off, mind you….figured I get my vengeance buying things.
And I did. Not a lot, just stuff I would normally get some other time, some other day. All in all over two hundred bucks. Not including gas. My paltry contribution. My time off was not wasted. Got my case of hornet spray, lots of nice steaks and such. My patriotic duty, you understand.
My kid told me I was full of shit…..but she will help me eat the steaks, no doubt.
I saw one protest coming home. Cruising through Los Banos seeing a Mexican flag flying from a pedestrian overpass. I was gonna’ flash ‘em a digital salute until I saw Old Glory, right side up, flying along side it. But about a thousand people on the sidewalk flashing flags and signs, etc.
The day laborers were all but absent at Home Depot. I would love to tell these people giving those folks work not to bother bitching to me about the illegal problem. No free lunch, we all pay it one way or the other. You pay it up front, the rest of us don’t pay it out back.
I owe them nothing..I was born in LA, you can speak English, obey our laws and quit feeling me I owe you a living.
Given my druthers…I’d TAX the shit out of the money they send back home, help defray the social costs here. I’ve never been accused of being poltically correct, what can I say?
But later, just before writing this letter, I called my boss. Business is back to normal now, or very close. Seems a bunch of people came in Saturday, we expect more than usual tomorrow….
The media will play it up, but on the whole it did little, or less, given what I’ve seen. Enjoy your day off without pay, assholes.
So protest all you want….I got some steaks to eat……and for what it’s worth, illegals….my Dad wasn’t buried beneath a Mexican flag..nor did I serve in the Mexican navy……nor will I ever.

    Well said Caveman….well said indeed.

Here’s my observations. The high school was unusually quiet and orderly today. There were no fights at lunch and the gangs weren’t squaring off in opposite corners of the commons area flashing signs at each other. The Hispanic kids that WERE in school today are the ones who are there to learn, to better themselves, they’re there to run with the opportunities that this country has to offer. What a world it would be if THEY were the ones that the “spit” MSM focuses on when they do their “Hispanic on the street ” interviews…but I won’t count on it, after all…they’ll probably vote GOP when they get of age.

It’s been a long time since the school has been this peaceful. What I hope, is that the principal and 2 assistant principals (2 out of 3 of whom have been assaulted breaking up fights this month)now have a good idea of who the troublemakers are and take appropriate measures to get them as far as possible from the kids that want to make something of their lives….those kids should get the benefits of this society, not the malcontents and slackers, and I now know who THEY are.
