While we’re busy staying at home to keep from being forced to use our Asshole Readjustment Tool in .45 on hordes of puling ingrates demanding rights that they have not earned, we’ve been busying ourself reading this splendid column by Tom Tancredo, “A Day Without an Illegal Immigrant.”

Make it a week, Tom. No, make it a month, a year or, better still, for-fucking-ever.

We’re sure we’d somehow manage to make do without criminals soaking up billions in unearned healthcare and schooling, not to mention not having to feed them in our prison system while they serve time for committing crimes that no Americans will commit.

Oh, and one more thing:

Interesting how my day played out….initially business was dead slow. As I would expect in the construction industry. Especially seeing how it is rare you see anybody not Latino working there now, at least here. Some contractors are screaming bloody murder, I say FUCK ‘EM!
Those assholes helped create this problem, they can damn well live with the result. I’ve seen those larcenous bastards burn people for overtime, make them perform hazardous work. I’d much rather pay more for goods and services employing American citizens. Seein’ as how ass sucking Bush wants cheap labor and the socialist demos want the welfare votes. And realizing it costs the average California resident a cool hundred bucks a month to either incarcerate, medically treat or educate these illegals, Yeah, I’m a bit pissed! And that doesn’t include welfare, legal advice, etc.
Between the two I also realized I am sooooo screwed.
As I say, I’d rather pay more, not to mention I would probably make more.
I was told I could leave at ten, starting at six-thirty. Not that I mind the time off, mind you….figured I get my vengeance buying things.
And I did. Not a lot, just stuff I would normally get some other time, some other day. All in all over two hundred bucks. My paltry contribution. My time off was not wasted. Got my case of hornet spray, lots of nice steaks and such. My patriotic duty, you understand.
My kid told me I was full of shit…..but she will help me eat the steaks, no doubt.
I saw one protest coming home. Cruising through Los Banos seeing a Mexican flag flying from a pedestrian overpass. I was gonna’ flash ‘em a digital salute until I saw Old Glory, right side up, flying along side it. But about a thousand people on the sidewalk flashing flags and signs, etc.
The day laborers were all but absent at Home Depot. I would love to tell these people giving those folks work not to bother bitching to me about the illegal problem. No free lunch, we all pay it one way or the other. You pay it up front the rest of us don’t pay it out back.
    I owe them nothing…..
But later, just before writing this letter, I called my boss. Business is back to normal now, or very close. Seems a bunch of people came in Saturday, we expect more than usual tomorrow….
So protest all you want….I got some steaks to eat……and for what it’s worth, illegals….my Dad wasn’t buried beneath a Mexican flag……..nor did I serve in the Mexican navy..nor will I ever.
    Tancredo’s my man!

I already liked him (Colorado Western man that I am myself), but this is exceptional. If only more Republicans could follow his brilliant example we’d have a majority so large the Commies… I mean Democrats, could never dent it.

He’s got my vote. I’m sure the American public is tiring quickly of seeing these jackasses on parade. If the War on Terror was Bush’s winning cornerstone issue last time around, a platform promising enhanced border security along with immigration reform and more stringent enforcement will certainly be the winner in ‘08.

As far as this demonstration nonsense goes, in addition to Tancredo’s great points, I’ve got a hunch that any income lost by retailers as a result of the invaders observing the “Buy Nothing Gringo Day” won’t be all that bad. In fact, it’ll probably be more than offset by savings realized from reduced shrinkage due to shoplifting as the border busters stay out of the stores. Look out tomorrow, though.

Enforce exisiting law. That includes treaties. If we have an agreement with another country, a treaty, it should be enforced by both parties. We have such an agreement in The Treaty of Guadalupe Hildalgo. Mexico should enforce it’s end of the bargain, or declare the treaty void and resume hostilities.

“IN THE NAME OF ALMIGHTY GOD
The United States of America and the United Mexican States animated by a sincere desire to put an end to the calamities of the war which unhappily exists between the two Republics and to establish Upon a solid basis relations of peace and friendship, which shall confer reciprocal benefits upon the citizens of both, and assure the concord, harmony, and mutual confidence wherein the two people should live, as good neighbors have for that purpose appointed their respective plenipotentiaries…”

    And Article V

The boundary line established by this article shall be religiously respected by each of the two republics, and no change shall ever be made therein, except by the express and free consent of both nations, lawfully given by the General Government of each, in conformity with its own constitution.”

If the Mexican government refuses to recognize our border then this treaty is void. If the illegal aliens refuse to leave: Annex Mexico. They all want to come here anyway. We can just make the “here” bigger.

  13. Apollyon Comment by Apollyon UNITED STATES

Each morning when I drive to work I’m usually in nut-to-but traffic. Today the freeways were wide open and I flew to work. I hope these illegal aliens and malcontents protest every day. I always suspected our traffic was due in large part to illegals and today it was validated. Business was slow but I still made money and I work in the construction industry.

I hope most Rotties™ are aware that May 1st is a communist holiday [International Worker’s Day] and it is not a coincidence that this protest, with communist groups in attendance, was planned for this day. We are under attack from within and the very foundation of our country is being assaulted. These open border dumbfucks don’t see the consequences of their foolish ideas. If we dissolve our borders and allow [for arguments sake] all of Latin America to flood into our country, by the tens of millions, does anyone in their right mind think that we’ll maintain the status quo? This country will undoubtedly turn into a third world shithole unable to provide for its citizens. We can kiss social security goodbye and our social services will have been destroyed. Unemployment will be at astronomical heights and wages will be well below the mandated minimum wage. Our lives will all be changed for the worse and the ones who will get kicked in the nuts the hardest will be the Americans on the lower part of the totem pole. And who’s going to stop the flood of immigrants from all corners of the globe once they realize we no longer have an immigration policy? One thing for sure is the very Latin [mostly Mexican] illegals demanding open borders will be the ones hurt the most. Why? Because there will always be someone willing to come from Latin America and undercut them as far as wages go. If the illegals are granted amnesty and thus earn minimum wages who’s to stop the employer from getting rid of them for a cheaper new wave of illegals? It’s an endless cycle. And once our sovereignty is forfeited and immigrants, much better educated than their Latin counterparts come over from abroad, then that’s even fewer jobs for Latinos and Americans who demand higher wages. We are on a very slipper slope.

I like Tancredo and would vote for him. Someone like him would be the savior of this country. But he must be ready to be hated and do what’s in the best interest of this country, not what’s best for some fringe groups.

One of my favorite quotes which is apropos to the communists/islamists/socialists/libturds at these protests:

“A nation can survive its fools and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly against the city. But the traitor moves among those within the gates freely, his sly whispers rustling through all alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears no traitor; he speaks in the accents familiar to his victim, and he wears their face and their garments and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation; he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city; he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared. The traitor is the plague.”

    - Marcus Tullius Cicero, Roman Orator - 106-43 B.C.

I was out walking around 10ish this morn and I saw about 8-maybe 9-school buses lined up in this area thats usually used for resting truck owner/ operators or those up to no good.
In the buses were what looked like high school students and some adult chaperones.
I crossed the street and polietly inquired as to what going on. (there were some parents/ siblings at the railing. I was told “They’re going to the march.”

I wish I could say that I riped the woman and her family a new one but I didn’t.
I was raised to be always proper.
I DID say that I was on the opposite side of the immigration issue and that while I hoped that the students stayed safe they would have benefited more staying in class and learning to become better citizens.

Talk about a RCOB moment for me. The school district ALLOWED this kids to essentially cut class and supplied transportation for them to do it.
This was paid for with MY taxes!!!

I don’t live in the town in question-BUT I DO live in the same HS district.
In 2008 my son is scheduled to attend the sister school of the one that pulled the crap above.
    I should say WAS scheduled.
He’s going to be homeschooled for certain now.

Shouldn’t it cost SOMEthing, for a person to be worthy of the name, ‘patriot’? Even if it’s just a willingness UPFRONT to pay any price, whether or not actually called upon to do so. Those who find ‘nothing more important than their own personal safety’, should be relegated to skulking in the shadows were they hid from the beginning!

Also, sadly we all know how much people value what is given away for free….
