This from LC & IB Michelle, whose other post on the issue you shouldn’t miss either.

Remember the heartwarming “excuse” for them acting as an intelligence agency for a foreign power? The one about “protecting the rights of Mexicans”, that is to say illegal Mexican invaders crossing the borders illegally?

Seems that el Border Patrol has a rather liberal interpretation of that:

Sara Carter, a reporter with the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, reports today that she found documentation on Mexican government websites that show higher ups in the United States Border Patrol have been tipping off the corrupt Mexican government as to the locations of the Minutemen along the border.

This article does not report information told to the MCDC media offices that the Border Patrol chiefs have also been passing along intelligence reports to the government of Mexico on the activities of Minutemen not only at the borders, but in locations such as Utah, Nevada, Illinois, Massachusetts and Tennessee. Perhaps a follow-up story is coming tomorrow or an over zealous editor took the info out?

Part of a report distributed last August to the Mexican government from Border Patrol bureaucrats read over the phone to the MCDC media offices contained not only numbers (estimated chapter membership) of Minutemen in Illinois, but a statement on their activities and that they didn’t seem to know any politicians there, indicating that the Illinois Minutemen didn’t yet have any political clout.

Bushito’s Border Patrol, protecting the rights of illegal border crossers in, er, Illinois?

If Bullshito knew about this, or if he doesn’t do something about it now that he does, and does it yesterday, there can only be one logical conclusion to this undermining of the sovereignty of the United States, undermining of the Constitution and providing intelligence to a foreign government:

Impeachment.

Let’s give him a day or two to explain himself and stop it, NOT a few weeks or months, and then, if he fails to do so, let the hearings begin.

Go for it, Democrats, you have my full and unreserved support.

I’ve got more letters to write….like Misha said, give it a coupla’ days…say by this weekend, then let my fingers do the walkin’..or typing. The Other Half spent some time calming me down after my nice, relaxing rant…..she said I wield a wicked pen…….not that she isn’t angry, simply more composed. I tend to gesticulate wildly, say bad words and such, lewd references to one’s character and ancestry, that sort of thing…..and I expressed to her how I found myself damned grateful I try to be a self-sufficient sort…all the way down to thousands of dollars of stuff here, stuff to eat, stuff to drink, medical stuff, stuff to make electricity, filter water……a whole lot of stuff..even got a grand stashed in the safe…….and most importantly, the means to defend it. Friends welcome……..bring ammo, stuff to eat and drink, cash…..and gas, if you can afford it.

This is just fucking insane. It literally makes absolutely no fucking sense to me why our own government would do this, and why so many Americans *still* sit on their fat asses and don’t even bitch about it to their reps. I plead, beg, rant, and even rag on friends to get up and do something, yet the apathy is so fucking thick you’d think you were swimmin’ in a huge sea of honey. My disgust at so many Americans is almost depleted and I’m more and more finding myself *hoping* the ragheads do something else similar to 9/11 *AND* the wetbacks invade en masse, just so those of us who actually give a shit about this country will have a right to just start to mete out justice the way it should’ve been done from the beginning.
*sigh*…it’s just so fucking sad that our reps won’t and don’t give a fuck about this country anymore and they get away with it and impeachment proceedings didn’t start against that piss-hole Bush the second he proved he won’t try to protect our borders.

Yeah, right! And shout till your blue in the face, for all the good it’ll do you.

2nd Amendment reads: “A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”

Argue all you want with this, but, the operative word here is security. The shiny pants politicals will allow our citizen’s blood to continue to be shed in our cities with crime, drugs and gangs to protect their schemes and secure their jobs.

    Honorable Senator

I take my time out to write this message expressing my distguss in the actions of this Administration. I am not a liberal by any means and have supported the decision to go into Iraq, and Afganistan, and NSA monitoring of terrorists. However when the Adminstration activly encourages the distruction of American soverignty by engaging in espionage for no reason- these men were not terrorists, they were not working for Al queda, Hamas, Hezbollah, etc - in fact they were doing the Job the Border guard was supposed to be doing. This is a disgrace to the United states- and many see it as such.

Mr senator I ask only for you to stop this nonsence from a party that I expected to protect and sdefend america. If you do not I see another party that will use disaffected members and use them against you relegating the GOP to a minor party.

I ask that you think- then make a decision.

A byproduct of our open borders:

“Two predominantly Hispanic gangs—18th Street and Mara Salvatrucha —began to proliferate in Los Angeles during the 1960s and 1980’s and now, according to estimates, have fraternal links to some 130,000 to 300,000 members in Mexico and Central America as well as reaching out across the United States from Southern California to major cities and rural communities on the Eastern Seaboard.

The rapid proliferation of the Mara Salvatrucha to many parts of the United States has not gone unnoticed. The entire gang is on the verge of becoming the first gang to be categorized as an “organized crime” entity. The MS seen to thrive on violence and in my opinion, they are determined to spread fear everywhere they can obtain a base of operations.

In the Los Angeles area, there are said to be at least 10,000 MS13 members with 95 percent of the homicide arrest warrants against them still outstanding. In Northern Virginia there are 3,500 MS13 members reported by the police, with a concentration of 1,500 in Fairfax County alone. Research for this report has established significantly large MS13 gang concentrations in 15 states and some Canadian cities.”

Here’s the letter I wrote my Congressman, Steve Chabot. For those who know the district, I made sure list “Greentownship” as the city (Greentowship usually votes about 90% Republican).
    —————————————-

I just read this report at Fox News, linked here: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,194769,00.html

In a nutshell, the story claims that our Border Patrol is alerting the Mexican government where the Minutemen are stationing themselves.

    Is this story true?

If it is, it is unbelieveable and unacceptable. Unfortunately, it starts at the top, and George Bush’s disregard for our nation’s safety when it involves illegal immigration from Mexico sets the tone for the Border Patrol.

Is there anyway to impress upon our President that he is deeply angering his conservative base by not enforcing our nation’s immigration laws and by not defending our southern border?

Unfortunately, it seems as if the Senate and the President are willing to throw away the fortunes of the Republican party to cater to people here illegally (that does make them criminals, correct?), who march in our streets flying a foreign flag, and who drain our public coffers.
    ————————————–

I write my two Senators in Ohio, but like our Governor, DeWine and Voinovich are really Democrats and liberals. They just happen to call themselves Republicans. Anyway, I have no respect for Voinovich when he cried over the Bolton appointment. What a puss.

A byproduct of our open borders: (Part 2)

According to the National Drug Intelligence Center, an agency of the Justice Department, there may be as many as 10,000 members of Mara Salvatrucha spread across the country. The gang, also known as MS-13, engages in cross-border drug and weapons smuggling, illegal immigrant smuggling, purveying false documents, robbery and murder. In California the gang has allied itself with the Mexican Mafia to control the notorious gang culture that dominates the state prison system. Central American authorities blame MS-13 for a wave of murders in the region, including the killing of 28 women and children during a Honduras bus hijacking. Officials speculate that the gang perpetrated this mass murder simply to intimidate authorities with its brazenness and ruthlessness. There is even speculation that MS-13 may be cooperating with al-Qaeda in smuggling operations across the border.

Recently MS-13 leaders boldly threatened to retaliate against the Minuteman project, a group of civilian volunteers who sought to reduce illegal immigration by staking out portions of our southern border. In some states the gang has issued “green lights” to kill police officers. In recent months, federal authorities have become more aggressive in arresting MS-13 gang members. Among those arrested so far more than half had prior arrests or convictions for drug possession, murder, assault, arson or weapons violations.

In sanctuary cities the power of the police to deal with such violent gangs has been severely limited. At most they can keep these repeat felons under surveillance until they commit another crime. Clearly Special Order 40 endangers public safety, especially among the immigrant population itself. Mac Donald rightly notes that “the biggest myth about sanctuary laws is that they are immigrant-friendly. To the contrary: they leave lawabiding immigrants vulnerable to violence.”

Impeachment? Yeah, we’ve tried that before, and look where it got us…

The one big problem with Bill Clinton’s impeachment is that he was impeached for the least of his crimes. Among other things, Clinton openly traded this nation’s national security for campaign contributions from foreign sources, including Communist China, and used the FBI and IRS as political weapons against his opponents. Instead of those crimes, Clinton almost lost his presidency over obstructing a sexual-harassment lawsuit. What makes you think an impeachment of George Bush by a Democratic Congress wouldn’t follow similar lines? It’s not like the Democrats are going to attack Bush for failing to secure the nation’s borders and giving preferential treatment to illegal immigrants; they’ve got precisely the same approach to the immigration issue as the President.

So any “impeachment” proceedings against the President will involve the bogus accusation that the President “lied” us into a war in Iraq, and will be motiviated solely by Democratic resentment at losing two elections to Bush and lingering Democratic spite over one of “their” presidents being impeached for lying under oath. Prominent Democrat politicians (Reid, Pelosi, Feingold, Dean) have been openly gloating about what they’re going to do with subpoena powers should they regain control of Congress. Impeaching the President over his handling of Iraq and the War on Terror is the only logical endgame for them.

Whether or not Bush survives a Democratic impeachment attempt is irrelevant; the damage the Dems will do to the country and to executive power in their effort to bring down the President will in the long run do far more damage to the country than even Bush’s weak immigration policy.

Just put the mailing address (preferably the one in Washington D.C.) of your states rep(s) and congresscritter(s) where it says to on the image. Print off one of each image, then take the two prints you made to a copy place and make as many copies as you can afford and spread them around.

I have talked with some border patrol agents. Almost 100% of border patrol agents are against any guest worker program because they see it as a smokescreen for amenesty. The Border patrol see the minutemen as basically a neighboorhood watch group for the border. If their higher ups are trying to sabatoage the minutemen’s efforts, its because someone is paying them off, not because they were ordered by the president. Corruptin does happen in the Border Patrol. It’s not widespread and those responsible are arrested but this happens all the time in Mexico and it’s possible that it has spread. There is basically a human traficing mafia the same way there is a drug mafia and they have a lot of resources.

It happens everywhere, and point well made.

Which is why all the President has to do to regain some credibility is to take active steps to clean out the shithouse. Get up on the podium, sign a few executive orders, show the nation that he’s serious about this.

That’s all I’m asking. He’s not the Emperor (I am), so there ARE limits to what he can do in practical terms, but the buck stops with him and he DOES have a bully pulpit that he needs to use and he DOES have executive powers that he needs to exercise.

I’m not asking him to act outside of his powers.

I’m asking, no demanding that he ACTS.
