(Crossposted at Imperial Rebbe Laurence’s Dead Pool, in which His Majesty is a proud participant)
Which means, of course, that you’re free to say whatever you please, as long as it happens to please the government too:
FRANCE’S highest court yesterday convicted the far-right leader Jean-Marie Le Pen of inciting racial hatred for telling a newspaper in 2003 that Muslims would one day run France and strike fear into the hearts of the non-Muslim population.
Considering that they’ve already struck fear into the hearts of the non-Muslim population (not that it’s a particularly hard task in a country known chiefly for its ability and willingness to surrender so quickly that the parties they’re surrendering to aren’t always aware of the fact that they’re at war yet), we have to admit that we’re finding it hard to see just what it is that le Pen is inciting here. Sounds more like a statement of fact after the fact to us.
Oh, and what’s all this about “inciting racial hatred?”
In a country that is rapidly becoming the #1 hit for Google searches on “synagogue burnings” and “anti-semitic violence”, one would think that there’d be some convictions for the same dropping on muslims, er, excuse us, “youths (of bafflingly indeterminable ethnoreligious extraction)” all over the country. One would think so if one were expecting consistency from the EUrabian courts, that is, which one isn’t.
Which brings us back to that odious gasbag Jean-Marie le Pen [who, rumor has it, is a man - EM1], who just so happens to be one of the more malodorous anti-semites of the Grand EUrinal. Oddly enough, nobody has yet seen fit to convict him because of that but, then again, it is fwance we’re talking about, a country mainly known during WWII for its record export of Jews. In cattle cars. To Auschwitz.
May we hope that this ruling against le Pen is the same as a fatwah, then?
Because if it is, then there’s hope that he might end up with his head occupying a space not residing between his shoulder blades which would, happily, lead to a score for us in the Dead Pool.

So now we have a Jew hater warning people about Muslims taking over the country. I gotta’ hand it to karma, she’s a mean bitch at times. Either way I won….sounds familar somehow……
May 14th, 2006 at 12:20 amMaybe the Fwenchies will realize thatwhatthey are seeing from their laughable courts is nothing short of the failure of the legal system istself.
When a legal system becomes arbitrary and inconsistent, rights from property ownership to Habeas Corpus are endangered. Without those, you have Mexico– for example– and all of Araby.
Fuck that.
Obviously, Bush has done one good thing in the last few months, and that is getting his nominations confirmed for Fed benches- people who believe in the immutability of our constitution.
That’s what pisses the thinly-disguised commies on the left off so damn much- we are reinforcing our committment to the most basic vaules of property rights, and self-defense. Without those two, the others are just birdcage liners, and we might as well live in the socialist sewers of Eurabia.
How’s this name sound:
“The United Emirates of Francistan”
May 14th, 2006 at 12:46 amLe Pen takes the arab coin, no doubt about it. This is to ensure he is not seen as too close to his backers. Le Pen and the islamists supported each other in the last french elections.
May 14th, 2006 at 1:28 amHopefully the 2 bunches of fuckwits can kill each other off.
What’s really baffling is the recent Al-Qaida fatwa on Denmark, Norway AND Fwance. Those countries are to “be drowned in blood” due to their printing of the cartoons. Obviously, Al-Qaida doesn’t read newspapers or blogs : both Norway and Fwance were faster than greased lightnings to bend over and apologize when the burning of flag and embassies started.
May 14th, 2006 at 4:52 amThe French don’t like to let inconvenient facts get in the way of a good theory. The few remaining European-born, Christian-derived residents of France still cherish the notion that they’ll get their decade or two on a State pension before the Muslim tide completely overwhelms La Belle Patrie.
Hey, God? If You’re open to suggestions, how about a Human Being Mark II, this time without the wishful thinking lobe of the brain? Just a thought.
May 14th, 2006 at 5:01 amNever let an apology get in the way of a good fartwah.
This is the same pattern as with the Jews. Percieved slight…Kasim rocket….Jews apologize….fartwah…Jews give a concession….splodeydope…Jew
apologize….splodeydope..etc.
The islamonuts just focus on the their anger over some minor thing and let it fester into a huge boil. Everything they do is a “response”. Time to take a large knife and lance this thing.
May 14th, 2006 at 6:16 amSounds very political to me since he did run against Jacques Chirac…
We all remember how ole Jacques baby had a particularly soft spot in his head for towel headed dictators, right?

May 14th, 2006 at 6:59 amSunday Funnies…
Expose The Left and Hot Air take a look at Gore’s wishful thinking. Oh, and we also learn that Cindy Sheehan is more representative of people’s thinking.

May 14th, 2006 at 10:13 amIt is sad that Euroweeniestan’s native-born inhabitants surrendered reason in favor of politicl correctness, a doctrine that has no power unless you willingly give it yours. Now the sorry bastards are tripping all overthemselves to abandon their culture and religion in favor of the barbarian advance guard, who in terms of modern civilization, aren’t even housebroken. Thousands of years of progress, halted and flushed down the toilet of history because some intellectuals got the ide that it would be good to accept “Multicuturalism” and at the same time reject the moral underpinnings of their legal system. Watch and learn, my freinds. We’re on the same path here.
May 14th, 2006 at 11:06 amBlackiswhite sez:
So true, my friend….
You see it every day on the Muslim Supporting Media. A media so afraid of upsetting the poor muslims, that they can’t even call the islamic child murderers in Iraq terrorists. A media so terrified of the jihadis that they won’t show cartoons of their sex offender prophet, and when they do…they pixelate the face, but they’ll show us Abu Graibh photos all day as long as they can get traction with the story.
Hell, when was the last time that you heard any mention of our war heroes? These media collusionists are too busy ramping up for the glorious countdown when our military casualties equal the deaths on 9/11…They’re already talking about that!!!!…I wonder if the NY times will drop the silver ball when that happens….sickening.
I remember a story from the Civil War (here I go again). There was a journalist named Edward Cropsey, he wrote a false story claiming that Gen Meade had urged a retreat after the Battle of the Wilderness (The army advanced after that battle). Meade had Cropsey arrested, paraded through the ranks of the Army of the Potomac while wearing a placard with “Libeler of the Press” written on it. When that was done, Meade had Cropsey banned from the field and from traveling with the Army.
Hell.. if we did that now, there would be a libeler parade every day.
My every day wish is that I hope that there are enough true red state Americans left to turn this thing. One good note though, I was talking to a Marine Corps recruiter at our high school the other day and he says that their recruiting numbers have been zooming up lately…there’s some hope right there.
May 14th, 2006 at 1:39 pmIf the media ran just one paragraph mentioning a soldier as performing a heroic act and saving his squad or even just opening a school, the screaming of government propaganda would be deafening.
The rule have been set…bad news=reporting, good news=propaganda and flag waving.
May 14th, 2006 at 1:49 pmBacon Boy (#2) says: ““The United Emirates of Francistan””
Yet another lovely & hilarious backhand to bent over Euro-Weasels of, “Francistan“…
Good one Bacon Boy!
May 14th, 2006 at 1:58 pmJaybear My Friend,
Let’s not forget the “Copperheads” either. Good historic parallel, they used Democrat politicians and leftist newspapers to build their platform.
Clement Vallandigham, an Ohio politician and attorney was arrested, tried, imprisoned and ultimately banished to Tennessee as a “wily agitator”. Lincoln had considered trying him for sedition, but was loathe to martyr him, as that charge would have no doubt resulting in his hanging.
BTW- To all the mewling fucktards out there. Vallandigham was tried by Military Tribunal for uttering disloyal sentiments and actively interfering with executive powers of prosecuting the war. The Supreme Court of the day ruled in favor of Lincoln’s decision, as within the scope of executive war powers. Vallindigham was a US Citizen and you assholes want to give criminal trials and rights to scumbag terroist goat-molesters ?????
May 14th, 2006 at 4:56 pmGood History Lesson there, JackBoot…and you’re right, that is a great parallel to the seditionist opposition that we see today, Copperheads/modern Democrats…what’s the diff?. As you probably know, I’m an avid reader of history, and the more I read, the more I see the lessons of history being ignored by our decision makers today. If they just remembered their history lessons, the path to the right decisions would so well illuminated it would be blinding…..
I guess they would rather read their party talking points instead.
Here’s a reading suggestion for you:
The Sword of Lincoln by Jeffrey D. Wert. It’s a single volume history of the Army of the Potomac and well worth the time reading it. It’s loaded with historical parallels to today, that’s where I got the story I referenced in my earlier post.
You remember, Post #12…the story about the liberal…er libeler..jeeez, that’s too close for coincidence eh? Another historical parallel…mheh heh
Hey Jackboot, you’re right…we DO need to talk Civil War stuff…SOON.
May 14th, 2006 at 6:00 pmBTW- To all the mewling fucktards out there.
To keep this in perspective, of course, habeus corpus had been suspended, and the U.S. Supreme Court wouldn’t have dremt of telling the executive brance that it didn’t have the power to do so. Perspective only. No citizenship, then no trial with the same rights and restrictions as one for a citizen. This isn’t rocket science, after all.
May 14th, 2006 at 6:48 pmFYI, this site is the #4 Google search result for “fwance.”
