LC & IB John Hawkins has the inside scoop.

So the Bill from Hell is dead… For now.

The weasels are still hopeful that they might revive it and shove it down our throats, however:

“We are not giving up. We are not giving in,” Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., told reporters. He is the chief Democrat at the negotiating table for the immigration bill.

He then poured himself another six fingers of Scotch and asked for his car keys.

“When it is recognized by the American people that the Senate has not acted (on immigration), I believe there is going to be a wave of support for what we have been trying to do,” said Sen. Arlen Specter, R-Pa., who also is on the negotiating team.

There’s going to be a wave alright, Arlen Sphincter, but you won’t like it one little bit. Updated your resume yet?

Graham said he talked extensively with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and is confident the bill will return for senators to take another crack at developing a comprehensive plan to legalize millions of foreigners living unlawfully in the United States.

And if not, Lil’ Lindsay will throw another hissy fit and bang her sippy cup against her high chair until she turns blue in the face.

“There are ways we can do this,” Reid said later. “There can be an agreement on the number of amendments. Hopefully we can do that in the next several weeks. We’re very close.”

That’s funny, because a day ago, you were telling everybody that if you didn’t get your cloture, then the Bill was dead, dead, DEAD.

Gee, a politician lying? Who’d have thunk?

“Who will care whether it was an extra three days if we can achieve the result that we’re talking about?” Kyl asked.

I’ll tell you who will care, KY-gel, they’re called constituents. YOUR constituents, I might add. Oops.

Keep the pressure up, and don’t let the weasels know a second of peace until that ass-reaming of a Bill is dead and buried.

As you may know, the Coburn Amendment to the Zhamnesty Bill of ‘07 was rejected.

What the Amendment was about was committing the government to enforcing the laws already on the book.

In other words, every single Senator who voted against the Amendment is on the record as being against enforcing the laws that he or she was sworn to uphold.

In any normal line of business, refusing to do the job you’re hired to do means that you’ll be flying out the revolving doors with a boot print on your ample arse in short order, and there is absolutely no reason why that same rule shouldn’t apply to Senators, so get ready to fill in their walking papers.

LC & IB Michelle has the list.

Unfortunately, it turns out that one of the Senators declaring openly that they will violate their oath of office is Kay Bailey Hutchison of Texas.

And by “unfortunately” I mean “she won’t like the letter I just sent her one little bit. Oh no, not one tiny little bit.” It was, how shall I put it, a bit on the mean-spirited side.

Now you go forth and check the list as well. There might be somebody on there in dire need of a nastygram from YOU.

…and we’re sure that Jorge and Linda will tell you that you’re a Nazi unpatriotic racist if you don’t agree (via IB Daily Pundit).

WASHINGTON (AP) - A bipartisan immigration bill narrowly survived a potentially fatal challenge on Wednesday when the Senate turned back a Republican bid to limit the illegal immigrants who could gain lawful status.

The close vote on a proposal by Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, to bar felons—including those court-ordered to be deported—from legalization reflected the delicate position of the contentious immigration bill, which remains under threat from the right and the left.

The McKennedy Coalition of Weasels don’t want to shut out the criminals committing the felonies that no Americans will commit.

Cornyn had painted his effort as a key vote for any presidential candidate—a sign of the degree to which the contentious debate is bleeding over into the GOP campaign fray.

The amendment “is a defining issue for those who seek the highest office in the land to demonstrate their respect for the rule of law and to demonstrate their desire to return law and order to our immigration system,” Cornyn said.

It is indeed, and everybody reading this ought to keep that very MUCH in mind come primary season, not to mention the general election of ‘08.

RINOs who want felons and illegal aliens awaiting deportation to become citizens:

Craig (R-ID)
Domenici (R-NM)
Graham (R-SC)
Hagel (R-NE)
Kyl (R-AZ)
Lugar (R-IN)
Martinez (R-FL)
McCain (R-AZ)
Specter (R-PA)
Voinovich (R-OH)

If three of these had had any respect for the laws they’re sworn to uphold, the amendment would have passed.

UPDATE: Let’s take the toll free direct line to your Senators again:

Praise or cussing out as appropriate.

DON’T LET UP!!!

Via Daily Pundit, we come across this highly interesting bit of info. It’d be even more interesting if we didn’t know it to be true already but, then again, we’ve always been about 2000% smarter than the average RINO (not that it takes much).

Endangered Pander? McCain supports legalization of illegal immigrants, loses 5 points over the month among Hispanic Republicans in California, according to SurveyUSA. Fred Thompson blasts the legalization bill from the right and his support among Hispanics quintuples, putting him ahead of McCain (and Giuliani) among Hispanics.

But who cares? As El Presidente and Linda Chavez say, they’re nothing but filthy, unpatriotic, bigoted RACISTS WHO HATE MEXICANS!!!

We hope Jorge and his fellow Scamnesty RINOs believe in their own talking points because if they don’t, then nobody does.

Townhall’s Chuck Muth eviscerates, chops up and sets fire to El Presidente’s insulting remarks the other day in a manner so determined, methodical and thorough that even His Majesty is in awe.

We can confidently say that nothing more needs to be done about that speech now. All that needs to be said has been said. With interest.

Bravo!

Probably not, he’s too fucking stupid to get a Clue if he was standing in a Clue Field with Clue Magnets glued to every square inch of his body, but it makes us laugh. More of the same, please! (Link thanks to LC Chance):

The Republican National Committee, hit by a grass-roots donors’ rebellion over President Bush’s immigration policy, has fired all 65 of its telephone solicitors, Ralph Z. Hallow will report Friday in The Washington Times.

Must be all of those unpatriotic, sexist, racist, bigoted, Nazi conservatives daring to disagree with His Arbustoness again.

Faced with an estimated 40 percent fall-off in small-donor contributions and aging phone-bank equipment that the RNC said would cost too much to update, Anne Hathaway, the committee’s chief of staff, summoned the solicitations staff last week and told them they were out of work, effective immediately, the fired staffers told The Times.

Na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na, hey-yay-yay, goooooodbye. Perhaps you can change your names to Chavez and get one of the jobs that no Americans will do?

The national committee yesterday confirmed the firings that took place more than a week ago, but denied that the move was motivated by declining donor response to phone solicitations.

They’d deny the fact that the Sun rises in the east if doing otherwise would mean that they’d have to face reality, so that’s not much of a surprise.

“The phone-bank employees were terminated,” RNC spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt wrote by e-mail in response to questions sent by The Times. “This was not an easy decision. The first and primary motivating factor was the state of the phone bank technology, which was outdated and difficult to maintain. The RNC was advised that we would soon need an entire new system to remain viable.”

With Jorge the Tijuana Donkey in charge, you’re about as viable as a sack of ice cubes in the Sahara, “technology” or no “technology.”

There has been a sharp decline in contributions from RNC phone solicitations, another fired staffer said, reporting that many former donors flatly refuse to give more money to the national party if Mr. Bush and the Senate Republicans insist on supporting what these angry contributors call “amnesty” for illegal aliens.

“Everyone donor in 50 states we reached has been angry, especially in the last month and a half, and for 99 percent of them immigration is the No. 1 issue,” said the former employee.

Maybe you can get some of the future freeloaders with Z-Visas to make some of the contributions that no Americans will make?

Die, GOP, and may posterity forget that you were ever our countrymen.

P.S.: Yes, His Majesty is saddened to hear about the firing of the GOP phone beggars. We were looking forward to heaping obscene amounts of Imperial Grade Derision upon the hapless twits. We guess we’ll just have to start looking for some orphans or cripples to abuse instead.

Laura Ingraham decides that she’s tired of stumping, campaigning and taking the body blows for an Administration that couldn’t care less about the ones that gave them their jobs.

You’re not the only one, dearest, and what an utterly marvelous audio-Fisking as well.

Good job!

Not content with calling people concerned about upholding the laws of our country “racists” and “bigots”, El Presidente Jorge Arbusto takes it one step further:

The presidential stop came during a congressional recess, with senators back home and facing pressure from the left and right on the immigration plan. Bush’s aim is to build momentum for the legislation, perhaps his best chance for a signature victory in his second term. The Senate expects to resume debate on it next week.

‘A lot of Americans are skeptical about immigration reform, primarily because they don’t think the government can fix the problems,’ Bush said.

1965?

1986?

Whatever could possibly give us the idea that government has no intentions of living up to their promises? That’s so unreasonable of us bigots, anti-immigrants and racists.

‘And my answer to the skeptics is: give us a chance to fix the problems in a comprehensive way that enforces our border and treats people with decency and respect. Give us a chance to fix this problem. Don’t try to kill this bill before it gets moving,’ Bush told students and instructors at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.

Fine. OK by me. Here’s a suggestion, you lying, fuckheaded, backstabbing weasel: Enforce the laws FIRST, THEN we’ll talk.

Hey, what’s the problem with that? You are promising to enforce the laws, aren’t you? I mean, it’s not like you’ll promise us the moon and then, when you’ve gotten your amnesty for your beloved illegal immigrants, stab us in the back just like your predecessors, right?

‘Those determined to find fault with this bill will always be able to look at a narrow slice of it and find something they don’t like,’ the president said. ‘If you want to kill the bill, if you don’t want to do what’s right for America, you can pick one little aspect out of it.

“Don’t want to do what’s right for America?”

Is that your latest attack on the ones without whom you’d still be clearing scrubs back in Crawford? We’re unpatriotic for wanting to enforce our nation’s laws now? Un-PATRIOTIC???

OK. That’s fucking IT, you despicable mound of shit. That’s it, you louse, you inflamed polyp in the nether regions of humanity, you filthy sack of dog’s vomit, you disgusting, treasonous, insulting, piss poor excuse for a human being.

You’re calling ME “un-patriotic???” ME???

Go fucking choke on a pretzel, you swine, and don’t ever, EVER dare ask me for anything, don’t EVER come begging for support, don’t EVER expect any and please, for the love of Texas, when you retire DON’T profane my beautiful state with your presence. Go live in Mexico. You love that country more than you love this one anyway.

Fucking asshole. Time for the impeachment hearings, Dems, or are you all talk and no game? You’ve got my support, no matter WHAT charges you’ll bring, 110%

I have never been this fucking insulted in my life.

Mitch McConnell is confident that the American voters are too stupid for the Kennedy/McPain Zhamnesty of ‘07 to have any consequences for RINOs voting in favor of dissolving our borders and pardoning 20 million criminals “doing jobs that no Americans will ever again be allowed to do.”

“This is a divisive issue” for both parties, said McConnell, a Kentucky Republican RINO. But, he said, “I don’t think there’s a single member of either party next year who is going to fail to be re-elected over this issue.”

Wonderful.

We’ll see about that, won’t we?

But you’re right about one thing. When you RINO sellouts get another spanking a la 2006 in ‘08, you’ll all be pretending that it had nothing, nothing to do with your complete and utter sellout of our nation in ‘07.

Just as you’re still pretending that the kick in the groin you received in ‘06 had nothing, nothing to do with you outspending Bill Clinton, expanding government according to the motto “Gruel in Every Pot, a Bureaucrat in Every Garage” and various and sundry other betrayals of conservative principles that would make even a liberal blush and hesitate.

Time to fill in the hole the GOP is in, stomp the ground down around the carcass and take a long leak on the mound.

But hey, Flores was only “trying to live the American dream, raping the children that no Americans want to rape.”

Yeah, Cherkoff, let’s give people like Flores a “path to citizenship”, why don’t we?

Douchebag.

Contact your representative today!!!

P.S.: If you want to bypass the usual waiting lines and go directly to the Senator’s office, use this phone number:

800-417-7666 (Hit “1″, then “1″ for your senior Senator or “2″ for your junior Senator)

It was set up by pro-amnesty fucknozzles so that people might skip ahead in the queue (why does that sound familiar?) and lick the butts of the pro-amnesty Senators, but there’s absolutely no reason why it shouldn’t be used for — other purposes.

Hey, the pro-illegal crowd is paying the bill for that number, so what’s not to love?

Oh, and if they say “it’s not amnesty because the illegal aliens have to pay a ‘fine’”, ask them if letting murderers off of Death Row as long as they drop a quarter in a hat on the way out “isn’t amnesty” either.
