Sorry, Bill, but there really is no better headline for this entry, so I’m just going to steal yours.

Since everybody’s talking about the NIE’s sudden discovery that the Iranian nuclear weapons program doesn’t exist anyway and has been stubbornly non-existent for four years now, we figured that we might as well say something too, but we’ll keep it short and sweet. We try not to waste too much electronic ink on self-evident displays of massive ignorance like that one.

We’re still waiting for the liberals to announce that the NIE’s latest is a bunch of bollocks that can’t be trusted, however. Isn’t that what they’ve been telling us about their (and the rest of the world’s intelligence agencies’) estimates about Saddam’s WMD programs? It’s almost as if they only believe the NIE when it happens to agree with their agenda. Besides, lest anybody throw the same charge at us, the pre-Iraqi Freedom estimate, we repeat, agreed with what pretty much every single intelligence agency in the world was saying at the time. This time? Not so much.

Over to you, Ehud Barak:

Defense Minister Ehud Barak said that he was familiar with the report that had been shown to him by US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates during the Annapolis peace summit last week.

“I am familiar with the American intelligence assessment,” Barak said following a meeting with Hungarian Chief of Staff Gen. Andras Havril. “Nevertheless, I say again that Iran is today a central threat on the world and the State of Israel.”

Could Ehud Barak be wrong? Of course he could, the NIE could be accurate, but when somebody’s pointing a gun at you and threatening to kill you, common sense dictates that you ought to take his word for it, rather than waiting to see if it’s just a toy gun.

And, besides, Bill says it so well that we can’t possibly improve on it:

Frankly, given that intelligence “estimates” in the United States have become political footballs - or worse, guided missiles launched by defensive bureaucracies at presidents they despise - I would tend to take Israeli intelligence a bit more seriously, given that for them, such estimates are a matter of life or death. (Via Hot Air)

An Israeli scientist is now saying that the nuclear plant hit by the IAF earlier this year wasn’t merely a nuclear plant, it was a nuclear bomb plant.

ISRAEL’S top-secret air raid on Syria in September destroyed a bomb factory assembling warheads fuelled by North Korean plutonium, a leading Israeli nuclear expert has told The Sunday Times.

Professor Uzi Even of Tel Aviv University was one of the founders of the Israeli nuclear reactor at Dimona, the source of the Jewish state’s undeclared nuclear arsenal.

“I suspect that it was a plant for processing plutonium, namely, a factory for assembling the bomb,” he said. “I think the DPRK [Democratic People’s Republic of Korea] transferred to Syria weapons-grade plutonium in raw form, that is nuggets of easily transported metal in protective cans. I think the shaping and casting of the plutonium was supposed to be in Syria.”

Your mileage may vary, but His Omnisciency would suggest that it isn’t. It’s a bit hard for us to imagine that an appeasenik and lily-livered fucknozzle like Ehud Smolmert would acquiesce to an armed attack upon a neighboring nation with all that that implies, just because he was worried that Damascus might get cheap electricity.

At any rate, it clearly demonstrated to Syria (and, *cough*, a certain turbaned titweasel in Tehran) that Eretz Yisroel won’t be sitting around with their thumbs up their arses while their enemies prepare Shoah II, the Sequel.

No matter what the State Dept. and Gondolapisser Rice say.

Sorry for not posting much, but the Muse has been absent for a while, and still refuses to come back in full force. And we have a great staff here at the Rott, so it would be criminal of His Majesty to pollute their excellent posts with half-hearted drivel from yours truly.

But this caught our interest (thanks, Sir Christopher). Looks like things might be heating up as the genocidal maniacs in Tehran ratchet up the rhetoric and bang their scrawny chests.

A claim by President Ahmadinejad that Iran has 3,000 working uranium-enriching centrifuges sent a tremor across the world yesterday amid fears that Israel would respond by bombing the country’s nuclear facilities.

Of course, Ahmadingdong may just be full of shit as per usual, but it’s not like Israel can afford to take that chance, now is it? Picture the last living Jooo sitting around in the radioactive ruins of Tel Aviv saying “but we thought he was bluffing!” Not going to happen. Mahmoud, may the devil curse his scrotal sac with painful, oozing sores, is about to get a lesson in what not to say around understandably nervous Israelis.

Here’s a hint, Ahmadillydally: The retards at Columbia might think that you’re hot shit and not much care about your constant threats to finish what Hitler started, but the good folks of Israel and, more specifically, the IAF are paying very close attention. Just ask your boyfriend Bashar “Giraffe” Assad.

Amid the international uproar, British MPs who were to have toured the nuclear facility were backing out of their Iran trip.

Probably not a bad idea, British MPs. The ambient temperature of certain regions of Iran might be going up quite a bit in the near future.

Israel responded by serving notice that it would not tolerate a nuclear Iran. “Talks never did, and never will, stop rockets,” said Ehud Barak, the Defence Minister, after talks with the security cabinet.

Well put, sir. Somebody needs to take those words, chisel them into a marble slab and bang President Waffles in DC about the head with it for an hour or seventeen.

Mr Ahmadinejad, speaking yesterday at a rally, said that UN sanctions had failed to halt uranium enrichment. “The world must know that this nation will not give up one iota of its nuclear rights . . . if they think they can get concessions from this nation, they are badly mistaken,” he said.

But hey, let’s have more TALKS, right? Oh, and those dreaded sanctions that are obviously about as effective as peeing on a forest fire. A few weeks ago the “hawks” in DC, amidst much fanfare, announced that they’d declared the Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization and, as we all know, Iran surrendered the next day. Oh wait, they didn’t. Well, how about having the credit card companies freeze their frequent flier miles? THAT’LL teach ‘em!

Go for it, Israel, because it’s pretty damn obvious that nobody else will.

We hesitate to unconditionally embrace anything appearing in the MSM as the truth but, on the other hand, The London Times aren’t the worst offenders out there and, at any rate, we’d hate to let excellent news like these just pass us by. But apply the 48-hour rule to it, just in case (via LC & IB Patterico):

IT was just after midnight when the 69th Squadron of Israeli F15Is crossed the Syrian coast-line. On the ground, Syria’s formidable air defences went dead. An audacious raid on a Syrian target 50 miles from the Iraqi border was under way.

At a rendezvous point on the ground, a Shaldag air force commando team was waiting to direct their laser beams at the target for the approaching jets. The team had arrived a day earlier, taking up position near a large underground depot. Soon the bunkers were in flames.

“That’s an awfully nice bunker complex you’ve got there, Pencilneck. It’d be a real shame if anything were to happen to it, wouldn’t it?”

House Stretchface Lugosi must be livid with rage by now, fuming and sputtering in the general direction of those Evil Jooos who dared hurt her new best friend forever, Chinless Assad.

Rumor has it that the bunkers contained unspecified materials of NorK origin. The kind of materials that glow in the dark, if you know what we mean. If true, and we certainly hope that it is, the neighborhood should be quite — interesting — by now and for quite a while to come.

Am Yisroel Chai!

[By Alexander Maistrovoy, journalist with the Russian-language Israeli newspaper “Novosty Nedely” in Jerusalem]

According to last reports, Olmert has agreed to hand over Biblical Judea and Samaria to the Palestinians and dismantle most of settlements there.

There is not something new. On the contrary, it’s routine attempt to get rid from “occupited territories”. Last decades this desire has turned to a fixed idea of the Israeli establishment. It tries to realize it by any means: from the formal agreement to unilateral departure.

They hope to appease Arabs. However in the reality dismantling of settlements not only will not approach the peace, but will make the peace …impossible. Settlements are not an obstacle to the peace. On the contrary they are …the indicator of whether peace is possible in the Middle East.

The core of the problem in the Middle East isn’t settlement activity, boundaries, refugees, Jerusalem, or terror but that most Arabs — not only in Saudi Arabia and HAMAS, but Egypt and FATH too - refuse to recognize the legitimacy of a Jewish State. They refuse to recognize the legality of the Jewish presence here, if it is not more than a group of inoffensive ultra-orthodox Jews. They refuse to see in Israel the fulfillment of the prophecies, inscribed in sacred books of all monotheistic religions, including Koran, and don’t want to see any link between the Jewish State and the Kingdoms of David and Solomon. And what is more, they deprive Jews of their history and connection with Palestine altogether, declaring that Jerusalem Temples are “fiction”, and calling Jews descendants of Kyzars, African Berbers, etc. Israel is thus transformed into a “colonial project” and a “malignant tumor in Arabic world.”

Islam is unwilling make long lasting peace with such an “artificial” formation. Only a temporary settlement — a “hudna” — is to be considered.

Give us more, O Emperor! »

And we’re sure that Ehud Smolmert and Gondolpisser Rice will immediately respond by insisting on more concessions from Israel.

The Sderot Parents Association decided they would not take their children to schools and day care centers beginning Tuesday, until the government changed its policy regarding ongoing Kassam rocket attacks on the western Negev town, The Jerusalem Post learned Monday.

It followed a salvo of seven Kassam rockets that landed in and around the beleaguered town Monday morning. After one of the rockets thudded into the courtyard of a day care center, soldiers scrambled to evacuate everyone inside. Twelve people, including some of the babies, suffered shock and a building was damaged.

Footage of one of the attacks here, in case you’re having trouble imagining little children running for their lives while rockets are landing around them. I know I do. That is to say I used to have trouble imagining it until I learned about the subhuman scum inhabiting the Terrortories. Now nothing surprises me anymore.

Oh, and what did the demented, deranged, degenerate camel-humpers have to say about their deliberate and murderous attack on innocent children?

In total, seven Kassam rockets landed in and around the western Negev town as Sderot children started their second day of the new school year. The Islamic Jihad said they had fired nine Kuds-3 rockets, saying on their internet site that the attack was “a present for the start of the new school year.”

No. I won’t talk about transfer anymore. It’s too late for that. Exterminate them all. Wipe them out, let them rot in the sun, then build a pyramid of their skulls.

Not that we find it in the least bit surprising:

On the first day of her Middle East tour, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on Tuesday signed a joint statement with Egypt, Jordan and six Persian Gulf states, endorsing the 2002 Arab peace initiative as one of the foundations for Middle East peace. Visiting the region with Rice is Secretary of Defense Robert Gates.

The initiative offers Israel normalized relations with all Arab countries in return for full withdrawal from the territory Israel captured in 1967.

“You’re either with us or — we’ll offer you somebody else’s land in exchange for ‘peace’.”

Anybody thought about asking, I don’t know, the Israelis about this sudden eruption of generousness with other people’s property?

17 months left of that backstabbing, terrorist-appeasing fuckwit Administration, yet it feels more like 17 years.

Hey, Shrubya, ya chatichat hara, leh tezayen kivsa!

First Ehud Smolmert (thanks, LC Adam) fucks up the war with Hizb’allah, then he starts releasing child murdering paleoswinian terrorists, and now he’s fucking ARMING THE TERRORISTS ON YOUR DIME??? (via the one and only Imperial Linkmaster General):

Israel authorized the transfer of 1,000 rifles from Jordan to the security forces of the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank, Israeli and Palestinian security sources confirmed to Haaretz Wednesday night.

This is the largest arms transfer authorized in recent years, and it is meant to aid forces loyal to Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas in preventing the possibility of a Hamas challenge and possible takeover similar to that of the Gaza Strip.

The weapons were delivered to the PA security forces three weeks ago following Israeli authorization.

A few days ago, we were jokingly saying that Smolmert (or Abu Brainfart)’s next move would be to order the IDF to randomly blow up Israeli pizzerias so as to take some of the workload off the paleoswinian splodeydopes.

Now it’s suddenly not all that funny anymore.

Oh, and to add insult to injury:

The transfer of the M-16s was kept under strict confidence on both sides, in an effort to prevent any possible leak that could undermine Abbas’ standing.

So not only is Abu Smolmert Brainfart directly arming Abu Mazen and his murderous hordes, he’s also doing what he can to not “hurt his standing?”

If, that is, he isn’t really concerned about his own standing, the fucking Kapo.

It’s like the Jews of the Warsaw Ghetto volunteering to reload for the SS.

Thanks to LC Darth Bacon, who alerted us to this vitally important report on the inhumanities suffered by the innocent paleosimians locked up in the Zionist Overlords’ Damp, Dank Dungeons of Doom™.

As you all know, Ehud al-Olmert (or Abu Brainfart, as he’s also known among some of us), in the best tradition of other idiots before him who thought that the best way of getting genocidal apes to like you would be to release the terrorists trying to kill you, decided to let 256 child murderers loose from Israeli prisons so they could go back to killing Jooos again.

Sources inside the Knesset inform us that Abu Brainfart’s next brilliant step on the Roadmap to Birkenau Peace will be to order the IDF to randomly blow up an Israeli pizzeria every month so as not to inconvenience the poor paleoswinians, who are having some trouble smuggling explosives and splodeydopes into Eretz Yisroel because of the Evil Zionist Wall that his predecessor built. The same wall that “wasn’t going to work”, then was a “crime against humanity” and finally, once it was built and terror attacks fell by 97% or so, in a fit of pique from the Perpetually Aggrieved was declared to be the same as the Berlin Wall (sound familiar, by the way?). We weren’t aware that Arik built it to keep oppressed Israeli Jooos from fleeing to the much freer and more prosperous Terrortories, but there you go. Don’t say you can’t learn something from libtards and other terrorist-lovers. As long as you don’t mind about the things you learn being completely batshit, knee-slapping, howling at the moon insane.

But we digress… Wildly…

As we said, Abu Brainfart decided to release those 256 subhuman, murdering scum in order to appease the Nazis. Worked so well in the past, didn’t it? Finally, those poor oppressed pallies would escape the deprivations, starvation and wall-to-wall torture of the notorious Zionist Death Camps, right?

Nazzo fast, Moishe:

( One of the 256 terrorists slated for release Friday as part of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s “good will” gesture to the Palestinian Authority has said “Thanks, but no thanks” to the offer.

The prisoner chose to remain in an Israeli prison, according to Pardons Department director Emmy Palmor, because he prefers to continue receiving free medication for arthritis.

That must be some truly horrible Zionist dungeons, we tell you.

Don’t expect this to get too much play among the MSMidiots. Wouldn’t quite fit the narrative, don’t you know?
