It is night. It is dark..not a star to be seen.. You are aboard a KC10 Extender fully loaded with fuel.

Iran is on your right.A major, big ass thunderstorm is on your left.

You go right, you get shot at.

You go left, the storm will tear you into confetti…if a lightning strike doesn’t turn you into a fireball first….

And then the windscreen starts glowing.

What?

You thought that just because His Slave-drivingness isn’t looking over your shoulders for a couple of days, you can take a break from earning those enormous privileges and powers that you enjoy as Citizens of the Empire?

Think again.

Thanks to a tip from LC Beth* A and LC & IB Orion, we learn that there’s a support email shortage affecting our beloved Marine Corps.

What’s even worse, SGT Deboard of RCT-6 is doubting that we can manage to flood their inbox and sink their server with heartfelt, grateful and loving messages. I do believe that’s what’s known as a dare, ladies and gentlemen, a dare that we have to respond to.

So what’s it gonna be? Is the Empire to stand up as one and meet the challenge head on, overwhelming, nay vaporizing that server with messages of support and gratitude, making the good SGT work overtime going through an Avalanche of Appreciation on a truly Biblical scale? or are we to let the gauntlet lie in the dust unattended?

You know the answer to that one.

So get to scribbling, citizenry, write an email to our Marines, a few paragraphs or a three volume epic, letting them know how you feel about them and their mission.

This is the address.

And tell your friends and family too.

We all know how much we love and support our military. It’s time to let them know too.

LC & IB Sig 94, Imperial Peace Officer Extraordinaire™, hooks us into a veritable cornucopia of Good News™ that the Frothing Moonbats & Morons™ (aka The Seditious Supporters of Michael Moore-on’s Mutt-fucking Minutemen™) and their fellow Idiotarian Lamestream Midiots™ don’t want the plebes around the world to have access to.

Go read it. That’s an Imperial Edict™.

Today is a day dedicated to remembering and honoring our fallen, the ones who gave all to protect us and the ones to whom we owe this Shining City on a Hill that we call home.

It is a day of reflection, of gratitude and of taking stock of how we’ve used that precious of gifts that our noble fallen bought us with their own blood, but it is also a day of joy. Joy because we have such men and women, and joy because of all of the blessings that their sacrifice has given us.

So today, as you get together with your families, be joyful that they existed, be grateful that they loved this nation and you so much that they gave their lives to protect her, and raise a glass to the invisible ones guarding the perimeter around your dinner table.

Thank you. We will never forget.

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

– Lt. Col. John McCrae, 1872-1918

LC 0311 Crunchie was kind enough to forward this article to us, in which Chief Warrant Officer Jim Funk, a Blackhawk pilot of the Iowa National Guard currently in theatre, shares his feelings about the MSM and their relentless war to demoralize the troops, the American public and providing good cheer, aid and comfort to our enemies.

A snippet, but don’t you dare not read the whole thing:

“Hello media, do you know you indirectly kill American soldiers every day? You inspire and report the enemy’s objective every day. You are the enemy’s greatest weapon. The enemy cannot beat us on the battlefield so all he does is try to wreak enough havoc and have you report it every day. With you and the enemy using each other, you continually break the will of the American public and American government.

“We go out daily and bust and kill the enemy, uncover and destroy huge weapons caches and continue to establish infrastructure. So daily we put a whoopin on the enemy, but all the enemy has to do is turn on the TV and get re-inspired. He gets to see his daily roadside bomb, truck bomb, suicide bomber or mortar attack. He doesn’t see any accomplishments of the U.S. military (FOX, you’re not exempt, you suck also).

It’s not fair when some people state that the MSM don’t understand the importance of propaganda in a war. They understand it quite well, and they apply that knowledge to their trade every single day of the year.

The problem is, they’re fighting for the other side.

Rope. Tree. Journalist.
Some assembly required.

And now for something we don’t do near enough, courtesy of LC Theresa, some stories about our heroic men and women overseas.

In case you’re thinking that our airmen spend all their time playing pool and hanging around in bars, here are a couple of reports that should put you straight:

“Mean Streets”, on patrolling the streets of Baghdad and training the Iraqi cops.

“Carnage”, on just what it is that our troops and the Iraqi cops are up against.

That last article, by the way, is what Harry Reid and the Dem Cong want the Iraqis to face every single day, only they don’t want our troops helping them. It would make the Dem Cong’s friends in al-Qaeda irritated, after all, and maybe they would even go as far as to withdraw their endorsement of the Dem Cong party, which would leave Reid and Lugosi without a friend in the world.

Long Tan, El Alamein, Tobruk, Gallipoli, Europe, East Timor, Afghanistan, Iraq,Kokoda,Borneo, and even on the River Plate, in searing desert sands and stinking jungles, far from home and from all they knew and loved, they fought and fell in all corners of the globe, small in number, yet fierce of heart.

Today we remember their sacrifice,we honour their courage, and we give thanks for the freedom we take so much for granted.

God of our Fathers known of old, Lord of the far flung battle line
Beneath whose awful hand we hold,Dominion over palm and pine.

Lord God of Hosts be with us yet
Lest we forget
Lest we forget.

The tumult and the shouting dies,The Captains and the Kings depart,
Still stands thine ancient sacrifice,a humble and a contrite heart.

Lord God of Hosts be with us yet
Lest we forget
Lest we forget

Far called, our navies melt away;On dune and headland sinks the fire:
Lo, all our pomp of yesterday,Is one with Nineveh and Tyre!

Judge of the Nations, spare us yet,
Lest we forget
Lest we forget!

If, drunk with sight of power, we loose,Wild tongues that have not Thee in awe,
Such boastings as the Gentiles use,Or lesser breeds without the Law—

Lord God of Hosts, be with us yet,
Lest we forget
Lest we forget

For heathen heart that puts her trust,In reeking tube and iron shard,
All valiant dust that builds on dust,And guarding, calls not Thee to guard,
For frantic boast and foolish word—Thy mercy on Thy people, Lord!

Lord God of Hosts, be with us yet,
Lest we forget
Lest we forget

LC Maxxdog hooked us up to this utterly devastating ClueEnema™ that was administered to the Simpering & Seditious Socialist Succubi™ of the Left, who have been feeding off the blood of our brave US military members for the past 5+ years. The inimitable Bob Parks also pulls out some quotes (that the Lamestream Midiots™ are doing their damnedest to try and make everyone forget were ever uttered or written), from a few of The Party of Treason’s™ High Priests of Hypocricy™, and ClueClubs™ the KosTardian KoolAid Drinkers™ into a bloody, oozing mass with them.

If you’ve got 8 minutes of free time (or even if you DON’T), you are hereby ordered to go watch it in its entirety.

(Note: It might not play in FireFox®. You might have to use Intestinal Explosion® to open the video.)

That. Is. All.

LC Deathknyte informs us that our buddy and longtime Rottie LC Krondax has left the life of luxury in the Frozen LiberIdiot EUtopia of Wisconsin™ (aka The Kalifornia of the MidWest) for US Army Basic Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Many of us know how much fun Basic is, with all of the free time and hot, nubile, scantily-clad babes running around playing “Cut the G-String™” and all, so it would be really nifty if some of y’all could take a few minutes of your time and drop him a line while he’s soaking up the sun ‘n’ sand in the lovely tropical locales of Oklahoma.

Just e-mail myself or JB and we’ll happily give you his info.

That is all.

Yes, it is time for us to promote this worthy cause again, because it simply cannot get too much attention.

This is how you go about supporting the troops in a very real and important way.

And it’s not even hard. All you have to do is to go to Soldiers’ Angels’ website and adopt one (or more, if you so desire) soldiers, then start writing and sending care packages. No, not 47″ plasma TVs (they’re a bitch to hump around on top of your standard issue battle rattle), just a word and a taste from home, a reminder that yes, we DO care and yes, we DO support them, no matter what the Haji Propaganda Ministry, the MSM, try to tell them.

You have no idea — well some of you do, obviously, but I’m sure not all do — how much a letter, a postcard, and/or a box of Hershey Bars and a good book can do for morale. It’s not the “what”, it’s being reminded that not only are you fighting the good fight, a fight that matters and must be fought, you’re also backed up by those civilians so very far away that the MSM keep telling you don’t care.

As an added bonus, as if you needed an added bonus, we’d like you to know that you will be able to almost single-handedly destroy years of the MSM’s tireless work to undermine our troops’ morale and hand a victory to the Democrat Party’s terrorist allies. All of that just by sending a letter and a package every now and then.

Every time you cheer up a soldier, Nancy Pelousy cries.

How’s that for a slogan?

P.S.: If there’s ONE thing that we hear are in high demand over there with all the fine, talcum-like dust flying around and getting into everything, it’s baby wipes. Lots and lots of baby wipes. But don’t forget snacks as well. Lots of snacks.
