Ever thought about all the things that you never had a chance to ask your parents and/or grandparents about? Ever thought about writing it all down for your children and grandchildren, just in case you get run over by a truck tomorrow, not to mention that it’s another way of living on forever and never having future generations wondering just what kind of a person grandpa was and what all he’d gone through in life?

Maybe you have, only to decide that it was a great idea, but writing such a thing requires, well, writing skills and, besides, who has time for that sort of thing?

Why not do it the way the “pros” do: Get a ghostwriter? Well, look no further. The Imperial Firearms Advisor is not merely a splendid writer in his own right, he also has a passion for exactly this sort of thing (and he’s cheap too).

Take a look and see if you’re interested.

[Full disclosure: Kim is a dear friend of mine, as you all surely know already, but I wouldn’t dream of suggesting this to you guys unless I was absolutely convinced that he’d do a great job, and I am]

We just got a message from a fellow blogger, Eric, who politely asked if we’d take a minute to inspect his site, and now we’re glad we did. Right at the very top of the page was an article about why the New Duranty Times is swirling the drain, doing its damndest to become the laughing stock of the NYSE.

It opens like this:

The Jayson Blair (aka New York) Times is on the verge of collapse. It is in free fall. It did not have to be this way. It seems that they followed the Palestinian business model for success.

…and it gets even better after that.

Welcome to the Dept. of Information, LC & IB Eric, and thanks for stopping by our humble Empire. Glad to have you on board.

Since the pro-amnesty RINOs and their lying camp followers (whores, thieves and moneylenders) love to trot out the tired old nag of “you bigoted Nazi unpatriotic homos don’t have any BETTER ideas”, we thought that it might be valuable to point towards an alternative to full amnesty and open borders from sea to shining sea.

The Imperial Educational Advisor has just such a one.

…I don’t know how else to describe how I feel after reading this.

Right now, I’m just stunned. Allan, or “Skipper” as he was more affectionately known, has been around for so long that I don’t even remember when exactly, and he’s been a friend of the Empire for at least as long, so learning that he is no more, that his particular style and ability to deliver precise, devastating written blows to the tender parts of Moonbats will no longer brighten my day.

I’ll miss you, Allan, I’ll miss you a lot, and you’d better keep a cold one or twelve ready for when we meet again, so that we can share the beer that I never got to share with you in this life.

My prayers go out to your two sons. May G-d give them strength and may your memory forever live in those of us who were lucky enough to know you either online or offline.

Rest in peace, my friend.

Horrible, horrible news.

LC & IB Bill Quick mentions a case where the relatives of an illegal immigrant were awarded $2 million in a “wrongful death” suit, allegedly because of a local cop’s “reckless behavior.” Among the usual whining, handwringing and maudlin bullshit uttered by the family’s land shark attorney, there was this:

“Had Officer Newman simply followed the law, we would not be here,” said Lawrence Ruder, attorney for the family,

Wait a minute… *Snaps finger*

Thank you, Mr. Imperial Nanotech Violinist. That was an exquisitely sad song.

We’re afraid it doesn’t hold a candle to LC & IB Bill’s delightfully appropriate and vicious response, however:

If illegal immigrant Lopez had simply followed the law, he would have been in Honduras, and entirely safe from Officer Newman’s supposed recklessness.

Hehehehehe.

Nice. Misha LIKES!

The Imperial Minister of Truth has penned a new essay (in two parts), “You Are Not Alone.”

Part one starts here.

(The link to part II is at the end of part I).

Enjoy.

…in the immortal words of Captain Malcolm Reynolds.

“A Republic, if you can keep it” — Benjamin Franklin.

Well, it looks like we won’t be keeping it for much longer if our elected politicians on both sides of the aisle have their way. The Dem Cong want guaranteed new voters in order to realize their dream of a socialist dystopia with themselves permanently installed in their lavish dachas, and the RINOs want cheap slave labor for their corporate donors.

The rest of us, as far as they’re concerned, can go fuck ourselves and the Shining City on the Hill that our Founders bought us with their own blood.

Maybe it’s time, as this writer suggests, to start “misbehaving.” (hat tip to LC Wes).

Worth thinking about, at the very least. Remember, the Founding Fathers weren’t exactly thought of as “model citizens” by King George and his sycophants either.

We report, you decide.

We learned, courtesy of LC WC Varones, that we’d gotten some online twit’s panties in a big, uncomfortable bunch with this post and went over to have a look, hoping against hope that there might be something of interest contained within his indignant temper tantrum.

Sadly, there wasn’t. Just the usual “how dare you call St McCain names? Don’t you know he’s a bona fide WAR HERO???”, coupled with the even more usual pro-amnesty line of “you’re just against amnesty because you don’t like immigrants!”, which the bumbling fools use ever so often, knowing full well that criticizing somebody for being against illegal immigration isn’t likely to impress anybody except for Democrats and, well, lawbreakers. When the truth doesn’t work, make up a lie and use that instead. A technique popular among intellectual midgets all over the world.

So I left a comment, letting him know that yes, I do know that McVain has an outstanding service record, but that I wasn’t aware that such a thing automatically meant that you could never be called names or criticized ever again. After all, Benedict Arnold’s service record was even more impressive than McVain’s, yet I never hear anybody defending his later actions based on his earlier great deeds. At least not anybody that I would credit with being a sentient life form.

And, of course, I had to point out the humor in hearing some insufferable clown accusing an immigrant of being “anti-immigrant.” I just never can seem to get enough of that line; it makes me laugh every single time I hear it. Laugh with a combination of mirth and pity for the fool uttering it. Pity because of the horror I feel just thinking about having to go through life as ignorant as that. I’m not called “Misha the Compassionate” for nothing, you know.

And I thought that would be the end of it, but obviously this Paul Geary fellow wasn’t yet quite done convincing me of the unfathomable depths of his ineptitude, because he promptly scribbled down this post, undoubtedly to provide me with further evidence of his utter cluelessness.

Dearest Paul, I appreciate the effort, but you truly didn’t have to. No, really, I was already convinced halfway through your first post. But since you’re so hellbent and determined, who am I to ignore your desperate plea for the title of Dumbass of the Week? Only this time, I’ll use this site to reply since, quite honestly, the formatting options in your comments leave rather a lot to be desired, seeing as how they’re pretty much non-existent.
