It’s going to be such sweet irony watching The Great Goreacle’s Glow Bull Worming Ponzi Scheme™ being crushed under the boot of Turd Word® Revolucións!™ over the price of everything from tequila to tamales.
(Note: All emphasis mine—B.)
EL PASO, Texas (AP) — Each Christmas season since 1984 Gilberto Carrillo’s family has wrapped thousands of Mexican tamales by hand, but this year he must charge customers more than ever for the tasty holiday favorite.
It’s a routine that keeps his family business, Tamales Lupita, and other tamale shops very busy this time of year. But rising expenses have forced him and others throughout the Southwest to pass on the cost to customers.
Carrillo said his store charged $11 per dozen last year and now it’s at $12 per dozen.
“Everything is going up, meat, corn husks, minimum wage, everything,” he said as a line of customers filled his shop.
Why are the prices going up so quickly? Hell, even these non-college-educated, working class José six-packs have that figured out.
Tamale makers blame the jump in corn prices on the country’s efforts to use corn for ethanol-enfused fuel. Corn prices have risen about 55 percent since 2003, along with the price of petroleum products needed to ship and package it, according to the Texas Department of Agriculture.
Welcome to the future, where Gaia-worshiping fuckheads have duped the gullible masses into turning their food crops into fuel sources and left hundreds, if not thousands, of years worth of non-food fuel sources underground and not built any nukular power plants.
It’s A Wonderful Life.

…which will be bad news for the “alternative” crowd in Mass-o-Two-Shits, who’ll have to go elsewhere for their instant gratification now.
The clowns who keep electing Fat Ted and John Fuckface just might be stupid enough to let them get away with it too. At any rate, it shows how Nanny Statism continues to march onwards.
Lawmakers on Beacon Hill are set to consider a proposed ban on spanking children in the commonwealth.
NewsCenter 5’s Shiba Russell reported that the issue is set for debate at a Statehouse hearing Wednesday morning.
The Boston Herald reported that State Rep. Jay Kaufman filed the spanking ban petition at the request of an Arlington, Mass., nurse who wants Massachusetts to become the first state in the country to stop corporal punishment.
If this proposal does become law and parents are caught hitting their children who are under the age of 18, they could be charged with abuse or neglect.
Leading, of course, to even more unruly, snotty brats who, having never encountered limits or consequences prior to their 18th birthday, will be prime candidates for celebrating their 19th in jail. If they’re lucky.
But don’t argue with the Almighty State. They’re not your children and, besides, you have no clue what’s best for them. Leave that to overpaid, barren spinsters with a theoretical education in child rearing.
Then, when your undisciplined runts enter real life and are smacked in the face with real consequences, they can always blame you for not doing a good enough job.

In a move that shocked, SHOCKED, we tell you, the Imperial
Dungeon Game Room™ staff, the brain-dead, dictator-loving idiots omniscient & omnipotent Nobel committee members gave this year’s LefTardian Socialist Succubi Sycophant “Peace Prize” to none other than the Master of Mastication™ & Academy Award® winner , Michael Moore-on. No, wait. That’s not right. They gave it to Rosie O’Donnell.
“That’s wrong, too, you morons!”, you say?
Well, didn’t they give it to someone whose only contribution to “Peace” has been eating enough food to feed several starving African nations and putting out unwatchable Celluloidal Sphincter Spew™? Ooooooh, they did? But it’s not one of the two aforementioned America-hating assholes? Who was it, then? WHO?!?! Yer shittin’ us, right?!?!
Actually, we’re not in the least bit shocked by the results of this “unbiased & factually-based” decision by the Nobel committee. After all, past winners have included such “peace luminaries” as Yasser “Kill Them Jooo Babies” Arafuck & Jimmuh “It’s OK To Kill Them Jooo Babies, Yasser” CarTard. Never mind that the Gorebot was up against a Catholic social worker who just happened to save around 2,500 Jewish children from being sent to the Nazi gas chambers in WWII. After all, who gives a shit about a bunch of Jewish kids when there’s trillions of capitalist dollars to be redistributed to the proletariat through
The Great Glow Bull Worming Scam™ Carbon Taxes & Offsets™. (With just a few trillion skimmed off by the “More Equal of the Equals™” of the proletariat.)
PS: We apologize to His Imperial Viciousness & Vindictiveness™ for dog-piling on the Gorebecile and burying His post so quickly.

Yeah, it’s an old article, but truth is never “outdated“.
Underlying all “gun control” ideology is this one belief.” “Private citizens don’t need firearms because the police will protect them from crime.” That belief is both false and dangerous for two reasons.
First, the police cannot and do not protect everyone from crime. Second, the government and the police in most localities owe no legal duty to protect individuals from criminal attack. When it comes to deterring crime and defending against criminals, individuals are ultimately responsible for themselves and their loved ones. Depending solely on police emergency response means relying on the telephone as the only defensive tool. Too often, citizens in trouble dial 911 . . . and die.

I suppose the Emperor with all the palace transfer woes, forgot the change in Imperial Staff™ working hours. Or at least in my case, an early morning visit for some medieval dental surgery, followed by a few hours of drooling as the Novocaine from Hell wore off, I’m back at work now.

US Slipping In Life Expectancy Rankings
Ahhh, a pitch for Mickey Mastodon’s latest crockumentary, SicKo. Well let’s read on…….
Americans are living longer than ever, but not as long as people in 41 other countries.
Just one more reason to pack the old kit bag and move to anyplace other than here in “The Two Americas”. Of course our wonderful Rottie readers immediately know what’s coming in a sentence or two, right?
For decades, the United States has been slipping in international rankings of life expectancy, as other countries improve health care, nutrition and lifestyles.[Emph Mine-It’s a teaser]
Countries that surpass the U.S. include Japan and most of Europe, as well as Jordan, Guam and the Cayman Islands.
“Something’s wrong here when one of the richest countries in the world, the one that spends the most on health care, is not able to keep up with other countries,” said Dr. Christopher Murray, head of the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington.
Ahh the wonderful Cayman Island health care system that I’ve seen in person, fortunately not as a patient. As I recall it was a cinder-block, one-room shack with a window air-conditioner. The waiting room was spacious and had a distinctively open-air feeling about it. Call it Waiting Room Al Fresco. Dr. Murray, giving head for the ’cause’ of free health care for all.
A baby born in the United States in 2004 will live an average of 77.9 years. That life expectancy ranks 42nd, down from 11th two decades earlier, according to international numbers provided by the Census Bureau and domestic numbers from the National Center for Health Statistics.
2004? Unless, I accidentally triggered one of the sekret Rott Admin Backstage Buttons, I do recall it’s 2007. Smell Factor up another notch.
Andorra, a tiny country in the Pyrenees mountains between France and Spain, had the longest life expectancy, at 83.5 years, according to the Census Bureau. It was followed by Japan, Macau, San Marino and Singapore.
Taking a page out of the James Hansen, school of statistical gerrymandering, Murray finds a sufficiently small sample populace to show the ‘horror of it all’ as the U.S. keeps slipping away to sing with the bleedin’ choir invisible.
The shortest life expectancies were clustered in Sub-Saharan Africa, a region that has been hit hard by an epidemic of HIV and AIDS, as well as famine and civil strife. Swaziland has the shortest, at 34.1 years, followed by Zambia, Angola, Liberia and Zimbabwe.
Civil Strife? Oh you mean genocide don’t you? That does tend to decrease a given population’s life expectancy. Maybe you need to pluck another dingleberry out to impress us with your shameless socialist promotion.

Bend over, grab your ankles because Teh Most Ethical Congress Evah™, just pulled a quick stunt to redistribute your wealth even more. Don’t count on the Nadless Nabob from Crawford to find the veto pen for this piece of socialist, punitive legislation. It’s literally chock-full of bullshit and libtard swindles covering the real intent of lifting even more drachmas from your wallet. The putative target- Eeevil Big Oil. What the clue-deficient, elected elites can’t seem to understand is basic economics and, whenever taxes go up on any portion of the energy pipeline, “We The People” ultimately pay the tab.
House OKs new taxes for Big Oil
Declaring a new direction in energy policy, the House on Saturday approved $16 billion in taxes on oil companies, while providing billions of dollars in tax breaks and incentives for renewable energy and conservation efforts.
Tax increases for the companies actually capable of meeting our energy needs and breaks and incentives for pie-in-the sky ‘efforts’ to keep the “Wormening Gorebots” happy. You know, the idjits making biodiesel out of used burrito frying oil etc. Nevermind that all the burritos eaten in Kaliforniastan annually, would produce enough used oil to supply a dozen Yugos for 2 trips to the organic market.
Republican opponents said the legislation ignored the need to produce more domestic oil, natural gas and coal. One GOP lawmaker bemoaned “the pure venom … against the oil and gas industry.”
G_d forbid we ever allow a single drop of oil or gas be drilled from areas actually under our control. After all, it might upset the single-testicled, barking cockroach’s habitat. A solitary GOP member finds the cojones to call this monster what it is, venom, pure and simple. Can’t have those big corporations actually making a profit and employing workers. That’s not a good thing for the collective good of the ’state’. Furthermore, those assclowns don’t get it that they’ll (The Eeeevil Big Oiiiil™ companies) just add the new taxes into the cost of doing business and pass it right on down the line to everyone doing business with them.
The House passed the tax provisions by a vote of 221-189. Earlier it had approved, 241-172, a companion energy package aimed at boosting energy efficiency and expanding use of biofuels, wind power and other renewable energy sources.
Look for the formation of a new Federal Incandescent Bulb Police, to begin unannounced inspections to ensure no one is using those evil devices in their homes. They just can’t help themselves from continuing to bally-hoo those favorite buzz-words to keep the eco-freaks well-aroused can they? It just doesn’t matter that none of them are anywhere near practical for all but small businesses (such as retail) and residences. Heavy industry is decades away from obtaining any significant portion of their requirements from renewables, but don’t let that stop the ultimate source of ‘hot’ wind-power from making regulations to use non-existent technology to appease the hippies in time for the ‘08 election season.

I sat down earlier this week and penned this out as the opening monologue for my radio talk-show, Tuesday Truth I cleaned it up a bit and decided to post it for the pack to gnaw on.
The hard left, being the target of most of my writing and talk is an interesting, although malignant ideology. The entire concept of liberal thought presents a dichotomy of reason, intellectual snobbery and deceit. They claim to stand for many things, such as cultural and religious tolerance, diversity, globalist governments, freedom of speech and always the ‘little guy’ or the latest manufactured ‘victim’ group. Moreover a careful look into what they purportedly ‘stand for’ reveals they actually stand for little if anything. In other words their entire ideology consists of oppositional behaviors. Their elevation of the insane, yet brilliant ideology of Marxism and his defender Trotsky is clearly seen in reading the classic tome ‘The Communist Manifesto on which socialism is based. They vehemently deny classification as socialists or communists, yet virtually every ‘idea’ they put forth can be directly linked to that writing.
The manifesto, rife with the concept of class warfare, is full of contradictions cleverly disguised by academic, elite articulation. It supposes that the only proven method of generation of wealth and power, free market economies, is merely a sham in which the proletariat class lives in thrall to an amorphous bourgeois class in total and merciless pursuit of power and wealth. Concepts of private property, an individual’s freedom in the to generation of wealth by individual’s efforts (and by extension, power) are counterproductive to the catchy lie of the “common good”. It’s summation concludes that only the elimination of the ‘bourgeois class’, replacing all control of the production of wealth under state control. Of
course in such a system the state would necessarily be an elitist class (under a false pretense of ‘the party’), assumed to be honest and capable of making proper decisions for all based on the amorphous ‘common good’.
Since it’s inception, intellectuals have seen it for what it is, a method to permit a select group to attain and maintain total power. The rational mind will see the gross paradox as it’s merely the substitution of one class for another, with the new ‘ruling’ class self-established.
The very nature of the liberal mindset and socialist culture puts the ideology, 180 degrees out of synch with conservative rational viewpoints. Moral equivocations being a prime example of this disconnect. Taken to it’s extreme, the elitist, ruling class of individuals (a large centralized government) are permanently installed into having the ultimate power and control over the ‘working class’ purportedly the system is protecting.
Contrasting the ideology of Marx and Lenin as written then, with the far left of today is starkly obvious. Virtually every key concept formulated by those madmen are fully embraced in the liberal views of ‘ideas’ of the far left.
The methodology is simple, create various classes by rhetorical subterfuge, and then imbue each class with a ‘grievance’, conveniently solvable by the nanny-statist government. The phony smiling leftist ‘pats’ the ‘victims’ on the head, assuring them justice and protection from the evil classes, if only they put them in charge at the ballot box.

Worried that nobody will bother to listen to their message of high taxes, record unemployment, Cuban-style “healthcare”, defeatism and surrender, the Dem Cong are pushing to get the Fairness Doctrine brought back from the grave. (Via LC & IB Dan Riehl):
According to two members of the House Democrat Caucus, Reps. Nancy Pelosi and Steny Hoyer have informed them that they will “aggressively pursue” reinstatement of the so-called Fairness Doctrine over the next six months. In January, Democrat presidential candidate Rep. Dennis Kucinich announced that he was going to pursue the Fairness Doctrine through his Government Reform subcommittee. That announcement was greeted with silence. But now, Pelosi has moved things to the front burner.
We have an election coming up next year, after all, and since Err Amerika proved that most Americans would rather have root canals performed with a jackhammer without the benefit of anesthesia than listen to the Dem Cong drone on and on about their visions of a socialist dystopia, Stalin’s heirs in Congress sort of have to pursue “other methods” (or, as it is called in the original German, “andere Metoden.” As with most other things coming from the Dem Cong, it too sounds better in German. With a hint of an Austrian accent. True to their roots).
The decision to press for re-establishment of the Fairness Doctrine now seems to have developed for two reasons. “First, [Democrats] failed on the radio airwaves with Air America, no one wanted to listen,” says a senior adviser to Pelosi. “Conservative radio is a huge threat and political advantage for Republicans and we have had to find a way to limit it.”
Totalitarianism 101. To Hell with concepts such as the free marketplace of ideas. When the goods you’re trying to peddle won’t sell, you just force your customers to buy it. Preferably by taking over the whole marketplace and shutting the other side out entirely, but since that would most likely cause a bit of a stir right now, you can always start out by forcing the stores in the marketplace to devote half their shelves to your unsellable merchandise.
And we’ve seen it all before. Every totalitarian regime throughout history has used that playbook. It’s all about controlling the message. Control the media, control the schools, control, control, control. “For your own good” of course or, in this case, “in the interest of ‘fairness’.” How it is “fair” to force somebody to carry a message that nobody wants to listen to is, of course, beyond the ken of intelligent beings, but that is yet another page of the totalitarian handbook: Control of language. Up is down, war is peace, ignorance is wisdom and we’ve always been at war with Eurasia.
To some, this may seem like not such a big deal. “So what? They want to push their nonsense, but nobody’s going to listen to it anyway.”
Oh, but you’d be wrong, and one of the reasons that conservatives in this country keep failing in their fight against the single most virulent, murderous ideology in the history of man, socialism, is that they haven’t properly understood this. People do listen, particularly when the message is hammered home 24/7, relentlessly, from cradle to grave. It doesn’t matter how nonsensical, how self-evidently bizarre the message is, if you keep repeating it over and over again, people will internalize it. I know because you don’t even have to go back in history to see it in action, I grew up in it. You would be amazed at some of the ridiculous notions about America that are alive and well in Europe, considered to be the unquestionable truth. Not because Europeans have seen for themselves, not because they’re naturally malicious, stupid or ill-disposed toward America, but because it’s all they’ve ever heard.
They went to school and were taught from textbooks full of socialist claptrap, textbooks edited, censored and controlled by government. When they got older and started reading the news, they were treated to a grand selection of nothing but the same, written by people who’d gone through the same indoctrination process. Turn on the TV, more of the same. Every single day of their lives, from sunrise to sunset.
Or take a look right here at home. Remember the story not too long ago how they were having trouble in Florida finding a jury for the upcoming Padilla trial because too many prospective jurors hadn’t yet made their minds up about who caused friggin’ 9/11? The “sixteen words” from President Bush’s State of the Union Address in 2002? Ask a random sampling of people on the street whether Niger was mentioned in there and, on the off-chance that you find somebody who reads the news, they’ll answer “sure.”
It doesn’t matter how much of a lie it is, it doesn’t even matter that you can go look up the original text on the Internet in a matter of minutes and see that it’s a flat out lie, as long as the lie is repeated often enough, it becomes the truth sooner or later.
But you have to get the message hammered home and, in a free market, if people won’t voluntarily tune into the stations airing your lies, then you have to force the ones they do listen to to carry them.
That’s not “fairness”, that’s totalitarianism of the very first water, which is why it’s hardly a surprise that a political party like the Dem Cong, as devoted to government control of every single aspect of our lives as they are, would embrace it fully and push it every chance they get. They don’t want you to think for yourself, they don’t want you to choose for yourself, because that would threaten their dreams of total control.
“For your own good”, of course. Because they’re smarter, they’re better than you and they caaaaaaare!
They care alright, but it’s not about you.
And that’s why this is a big deal.
They’ve already grabbed control of our schools, they pretty much own the MSM, they’re itching to get their hands on healthcare so they can ensure eternal rule by having the threat of taking it away from you unless you vote for them, and they really, really want to shut up those who expose their agenda.
And they will stop at nothing to achieve that goal.

Funny how the DemCong are always wailing, pissing and moaning about keeping the Christofascists out of their bedrooms, particularly when there is no area of life that they’re not just itching to lord it over by decree. First, they outlawed toilets that you only had to flush once, and now they’re working on outlawing incandescent light bulbs.
Forget about convincing us that it might be a good investment, seeing as how the fluorescent ones use less energy and last longer, forget about letting the free market work its magic, let’s just order the serfs in our DemCong paradise to do as we tell them to. For their own good, of course.
I don’t like meddlers, I never have.
As a matter of fact, saying that I “dislike” them is an understatement on a cosmic scale.
They make me angry. Very, very angry.
And I get so damnably unpleasant when I’m angry like that.
And don’t start pissing me off by trying to convince me how wonderful fluorescent bulbs are. I’m well aware of their advantages and I’m not at all opposed to the idea. That’s not the point. The point is that it’s none of government’s damned business to tell me what fucking bulb to stick in my lamps. If I switch bulbs, and I’m sure I will at some point, it’ll be because I want to, not because some Idiotarian, overpaid, busybody sack of rancid ratshit in government tells me to.
Government’s first order of business should be to do all they can to stay the fuck out of my business.
If they don’t respect that, they’ll be sorry.
Very, very, very sorry.
