The Sunday LA Times
1) is a cool article on this guy that’s been giving military haircuts for decades:
I can’t get the damn thing to copy. If you search barber at latimes.com, it will pull up yesterday’s article. sorry. I hoped to be more useful. I tried three times.
2) front page is “41 Iraqis freed from insurgent hide-out.” tipped of by locals, US raids Al Qaeda site amid more bloodshed
see–it’s good news not buried in the back of the paper. That’s generally been my experience with the papers (I don’t do the tv news)
I don’t know if I can do this. I’m all stressed about what grief I’ll get for posts tomorrow. The intellectual debates are fun, but people get psycho about Michael Moore and flag burning as a first amendment right (never have and never will burn a flag). Now there’s the Cuba thing. Oh vey. On the bright side, the people involved are very pleasant, so maybe it won’t be so bad. I am known for being the ultimate worrywort.
