TJ the Anti-Contrarian has an interview with one of our guys on the sharp end of the spear that is more than well worth reading.

Unless you prefer to get your news from MSNBC, of course.

The treading water and babbling fun of Jim Webb (D-Hypocrisy) continues:

The staffer, Phillip Thompson, told U.S. Capitol Police that the gun belonged to Webb, a freshman senator who describes himself as a strong supporter of gun rights. Thompson also said he forgot that the gun was in a briefcase and meant no harm, authorities said.

What? The gun meant no harm? Guns KILL PEOPLE, don’t you know? Oh, it’s you that meant no harm. Well, that’s OK then. His Majesty supposes that that means that he can carry wherever he damn well pleases from now on, JUST AS IT SAYS IN THE CONSTITUTION, as long as he remembers to state that he “meant no harm.”

That’s wonderful news, since we don’t ever mean harm toward anybody except those who mean harm toward us. If we’re arrested when we go to the post office packing heat, we’ll make sure to refer to this case as precedent. (For the terminally cluefucked passing by: No, we will NOT be packing at the post office. We know full well that we, being an ordinary citizen, has to abide by the rules unlike our Congressional masters and their henchmen who are, after all, so much BETTER than we are).

Webb told reporters today that he was in New Orleans when he learned of the incident. He did not confirm or deny that the gun belonged to him, saying he would not discuss the specifics of the case or the way he provides for his security.

“I think this is one of those very unfortunate situations where, completely inadvertently, he took the weapon into the Senate yesterday,” Webb said.

And we’ll keep that in mind, should we ever run afoul of one of the un-Constitutional infringements on our 2nd Amendment rights.

“It was one of those very unfortunate and inadvertent situations where we happened to break the law. Case dismissed.”

Hey, Jim Webb’s footman isn’t the only precedent. Remember when Sandy Pantsburglar “inadvertently” stole classified documents by “inadvertently” stuffing them down his pants, after which he “inadvertently” hid them under a dumpster so he could “inadvertently” return to “inadvertently” pick them up later and “inadvertently” shred them?

Sorry, pal. As even our very own Imperial Tech Wizard DJ pointed out: If you break the law, you pays the price, even if it’s a stupid law. If you don’t like the law, you work to change it, you don’t get an exception because it’s “unfair”, nor do you get to claim special privilege because you’re so much more important than the mere voters without whom you wouldn’t have a job in the first fucking place.

“I’m a strong supporter of the Second Amendment,” Webb added. “I have had a permit to carry a weapon in Virginia for a long time. . . . It’s important for me personally and a lot of people in the situation that I’m in to be able to defend myself and my family.”

It’s important for everybody, you freakishly deformed mutant. Take a look at the statistics for a moment. How many Senators have been killed in recent memory? How many ordinary, law-abiding, innocent, unarmed citizens have been killed by goblins in the same period of time?

Yes, you do have a right to defend yourself, we support that fully, but your right isn’t more important than anybody else’s. You’re not one whit more important than anybody else, nor are you any more in danger than anybody else is. As a matter of fact, given the level of security that you’re surrounded on on a daily basis due to your post, you’re in considerably less danger than most everybody else in this nation.

So don’t qualify your support of the 2nd Amendment by pointing out how much more important and “special” you are. (you’re special, alright, though not for the same reasons that you think that you are). You’re no more and no less than any other citizen of this nation, and it’s high time that you and your elitist fellow travelers learned to accept that fact.

Your shit stinks just the same as the shit of the rest of us.

And don’t get us wrong, Jimmy, we fully support your right to carry, as well as your buddy’s right to do the same, but thanks to your Dhimmicrat fellow travelers, that right has been eroded to the point where it’s ridiculous, and that’s why your friend got in trouble. You or your buddies do NOT get to claim “executive privilege” to break the laws of this country at will, so just suck it up and deal with it.

We don’t need two separate classes of citizens in this country, and if anybody, including you, insists on perpetuating such an un-American system, then we have ways of dealing with that too. See “American Revolution, the” for further information on the subject.

On the other hand, if you’re as sincere in your professed support of the 2nd Amendment as you claim to be, then it would be a good idea for you to start practicing what you preach. You see, this is one instance where you actually DO differ from the rest of us citizens, because you’re an elected member of the legislative branch.

You have your hands directly on the levers of power, so you’re in a unique position to fight for the beliefs that you profess to have.

Make good use of it and you will find a fierce supporter in us.

Use it as a talking point to get yourself and a friend out of trouble, claiming “special privilege”, and you’ll be exposed for the lying, opportunistic, hypocritical mound of pig shite that you are.

Your choice, Jimmy.

Your choice.

In this week’s episode, we start out by learning, once again, that Fayed the terrorist is nothing but a helpless innocent Muslim who can do nothing without the help of the REAL mastermind, Gredenko the Evil White Russian Supremacist (because Muslims never committed any acts of terrorism in the entire history of the world, of course), that Gredenko himself is helpless without the assistance of an autistic brother of a security guard, that Nadia the Token Arab Chick Mole is as innocent as the day is long (because Muslims never committed any acts of terrorism in the entire history of the world, of course) and that President Allstate Jr, who was until recently in an induced coma because he’d, at best, end up as a brain-damaged vegetable if he wasn’t kept in it, wakes up like Lazarus at the very last moment to prevent the retaliatory strike against Fayed and Assad’s home country (because Muslims never committed any acts of terrorism in the entire history of the world, of course), none the worse for wear and prepared to take on the world.

I’m done.

Let somebody else do the recaps of this CAIR propaganda piece from now on, because I can’t stand watching that terrorist cock-sucking show anymore.

If they’d at least broadcast it in the original Arabic, then it’d have some novelty value.

As it is, they should tell al-Jazeera to stick to blood libels, because they suck donkey’s dick when it comes to writing TV shows.

The End.

***UPDATE:*** Oh what the Hell… Since tradewind asks so nicely in the comments, here we go. But let me warn you: There is precious little I can do to make last night’s episode sound any more retardedly absurd, even with my considerable talents, so if anything in the following makes you go “no WAY, that’s TOO much artistic license, Emperor”, chances are that I’m just quoting the script verbatim. Yes, it’s THAT ridiculous…

WASHINGTON (AP) - An aide to Sen. Jim Webb was arrested Monday when he entered a Senate office building with a loaded pistol, Capitol Police said.

Spokeswoman Sgt. Kimberly Schneider said the aide was charged with carrying a pistol without a license and possessing an unregistered firearm and unregistered ammunition.

The office of Webb, D-Va., identified the aide as Phillip Thompson and said he was “a former Marine, a long-term friend and trusted employee of the senator.”

So that means that he can commit a felony without consequences?

“To our knowledge, this incident was an oversight,” the office said in a statement.

The weapon was revealed when the aide went through an X-ray machine at an entrance of the Russell Senate Office Building, said police spokeswoman Schneider. She said the man had a loaded pistol with two additional loaded magazines.

Hopefully, the notoriously violent and ill-mannered Senator will use this as an opportunity to eliminate the elitist laws of Washington DC that create two separate classes of citizens. Those who CAN exercise their 2nd Amendment rights and those who cannot.

Right after monkeys start flying out of His Majesty’s Imperial Butt.

We’ve tried to stay away from it, it’s far too early anyways, but in case you’re wondering, the Imperial Candidate for ‘08 so far is Fred Thompson.

Granted, there is the minor problem that he hasn’t, so far, thrown his hat in the ring, but as we said: It’s still early.

Unless somebody better comes along, and we can’t frankly imagine that happening, he’s got our vote in the primaries.

If we can get him to RUN, that is.

We found this video (beneath the fold to decrease overall load times) at the Jawa Report, and we highly recommend watching it, in case you’ve ever found yourself wondering why on Earth liberals seem to be so disconnected from anything that might be considered logic.

And if you’re not going to take a NY Jooo and former liberal’s word for it, then who are you going to believe?

It’s quite long (47 minutes, to be exact), but if you go ahead and watch the first five minutes or so, we guarantee you that you’ll want to stick with it ’till the end.

Okay, here is a quote for you:

“I have got to go back to Arkansas,” the former president recalled telling his soon-to-be wife when they were in their final days at Yale Law School. “But I have to be in politics or I will evaporate—and that‘s what you have to do…you should go back to Chicago or move to New York…” — Bill Clinton as quoted by Newsday

Have fun with it.

The New York Slimes has been running a story about a poor oppressed womyn in the Armed Forces who was raped and is now suffering under horrible mental consequences from her deployment to Iraq.

Fetching story, isn’t it? Well, it would be if it weren’t for the fact that the nearest she’s ever been to Iraq was Guam.

The New York Slimes are now excusing themselves by noting that the poor woman is mentally disturbed and might be convinced that she was deployed to Iraq. Oh, and of course, by chastising the Navy for not doing the job that no New York Slimes “journalists” will do, which is vetting their sources before going to print.

Of course, the fact that their source was obviously mentally disturbed, something that the original article wailed about with vigor, should in no way suggest that they might want to, you know, look into her claims before splashing it all over the front page. That would be too much like reporting, after all, and G-d knows that the New York Slimes hasn’t been doing any of that since time immemorial.

Some stories are just too damn good to check, dontcha know?

I recently got an email from a PhD Candidate at Stony Brook U, asking me if I could help him out a bit with his dissertation. He’s doing some research, and he needs data.

Well, I’m such a genuinely nice guy and, besides, having written papers that required surveys and research data to be collected, I empathize a lot.

AND it’s an interesting subject, if you ask me.

So here it is:

Exploring the Role of Internet Advertising in American Politics
