After all of the magnificent well wishes and expressions of friendship and thanks shared amongst the LC’s here yesterday, I hate to be the wet blanket to snap us all back to reality, but apparently thanks and well wishes are not on everyones minds in the world.

Y’all remember the recent assassination attempt on Benazir Bhutto in Pakistan right? Just another example of fundie haji’s willing to blow themselves up to kill innocent people and get their 72 syphilitic goats in hell. Well, there’s a little more to the story. (Via ROP).

The homicide terror bomb used in an assassination attempt on former Pakistani Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto last month may have been strapped to a 1-year-old child who was being carried by his jihadist father, The Australian newspaper reported Thursday.

Let that sink in a while folks. If you are a parent, look at your child and try and imagine the barbarity needed to use the pure innocence of a ONE YEAR OLD BABY as a bomb delivery device.

I’m to disgusted and enraged to write anything more. This is the evil we are facing people.

I am sneaking in here while the Emperor is still sleeping because I feel the need urge to write this post. Sitting here watching the MACY’S Thanksgiving Day Parade with the boys, I just thought how THANKFUL I am to have my family and how much I love them. Then I got to thinking about our Troops and all our wonderful “Rotties”.

So I thought…. why not write a post and wish everyone a happy, healthy, and SAFE THANKSGIVING. Soooo… here goes, but first I would like to take this opportunity to list the reasons I am giving thanks this year! (Ok hold on to your hats and please be patient with me!)

First, I am thankful for my family because they are so awesome and love me for who I am. They support me and comfort me when I need it, they brighten my day, and they give me a reason to get up every day. The heirs are so adorable and say the cutest things, they make me smile everyday. I love them with all my heart and can never tell them enough how much I love them.

Second, I am thankful for all our friends both local and far away. These wonderful people have enriched our lives and given us support and comfort in times of need, and just generally made our world a better place to live! We love you all more than words can ever say. (Well more than my words can ever say, Misha on the other hand has a bizzillion words and can adequately express how much y’all mean to us-although he will never admit it!)

Last but not LEAST, I am thankful for our men and women of the armed services. I am thankful for all that they sacrifice so that the people I love can live free in this beautiful country. I am thankful for all the things they do and all that they give. In my opinion they are HEROES!!! They take time away from their families so that I can live happily with mine. They miss Christmas’s and Thanksgivings with their loved ones so that I can celebrate these holidays in the manner that I choose to. They give the ultimate sacrifice for their country. They are selfless to give so much for people like me that they may or may not know. Also, let me not forget their families… the wives and children, mothers and fathers of these HEROES. They sacrifice too. They are also HEROES, only they don’t get the attention or gratitude that the soldiers do. So I would like to take this opportunity to THANK the families of our soldiers for loving and supporting their loved ones and sacrificing time with them so that this wonderful country can be free and safe.

I have gotten a bit emotional sitting here thinking about all of these wonderful people and how much I am thankful for them. Good thing this isn’t on camera, y’all would all see the tears in my eyes! Just a lil embarassing. I never used to be this emotional until I became a MOM and then it all changed. Seems that now I have alot more appreciation of things these days.

In closing,.. I would like to wish EVERYONE a Happy, Healthy, and SAFE Thanksgiving!! I love all of you from the bottom of my heart!!!

Thanksgiving, a holiday for family, friends and feasting, but the true history is little known with the revisionist teachings in our halls of indoctrination, carefully present it as a secular day of thanks.

The first Thanksgiving is generally thought of as that celebrated by the Calvinist-Protestant pilgrims for three days in November 1621. They had arrived the prior year, suffered a loss of nearly 50% of their party in a brutal winter, but were befriended by the Wampanoags inhabiting that area and were able to reap a rich harvest.

Trouble soon followed that first Thanksgiving. They had determined to place the fruit of their labor into a collective. Everything the fledgling colony would produce would be placed into a commonwealth for distribution to each according to his own needs. Socialism, nearly 200 years before Karl Marx produced his malignant ideology. Of course, the idea immediately failed as the ne’er do wells and down-right lazy, realized that they could benefit equally with their fellow colonists, at a fraction of the actual labor. The colony was under pressure from their backers in Europe to apportion half of their output to the financiers and saw the concept as one most likely to keep the investors satisfied and repaid. Within two years the Colony was foundering due to it’s financial folly, and faced with blighted crops, drought and famine.

Governor William Bradford wrote in the history of the colony that 1623 brought them to the brink of total failure. The Pilgrims recognized that their only hope was to ask for Divine intervention and set aside a day of prayer for help in their distress. They were rewarded soon after with favorable weather and the crop production was saved.

The little group decided it would be inadequate and inappropriate to privately show their gratitude and decided upon a public day of Giving Thanks to the Divine for His manifold blessings. This became the true Thanksgiving Day, one of humble gratitude to the Almighty, not just a celebration of a bountiful harvest, friends and family.

The colony leaders soon after, abandoned their commonwealth production arrangement and each family was given a parcel of land, apportioned to the family size, that they might of their own responsibility, trust to themselves to produce befitting their individual efforts. Socialism, a failed policy from the very first time it had been tried. The newly bestowed private land-owners recognized that in addition to meeting their own needs, they could prosper by producing more and trading for other goods and services. They prospered rapidly, never forgetting that Day of Thanks to the Divine for their blessings of freedom, civil and religious. The practice spread throughout the colonies and was commonplace throughout the Revolutionary War.

In 1789, after adopting the Bill of Right to the Constitution, one of the first acts of Congress was to set down and approve a National Day of Thanksgiving. Presidents Washington, Adams and Madison recognized and celebrated the day during their administrations, though it was not officially recognized by the Executive Branch until Lincoln, during the Civil War called upon all Americans to “observe a day of thanksgiving and praise to our “beneficent Father”, asking for penitence from the horror of warring among themselves.

Thanksgiving was formally codified to be the third Thursday in November by an act of Congress in 1941.

So as we sit down today, keep in mind that our thankfulness is for much more than what is placed upon the table before us.

May G-d continue to shower down his manifold blessings on this great nation of a just and righteous people.

Wow. There are few things I can really add after the two awesome contributions below. I fear that anything I might add will seem bloodless and trite by comparison, but that never stopped me in the past, so here goes:

I give thanks for the best family any man ever had. My patient wife who manages to put up with me (no small feat there) and, as if that wasn’t enough, manages to love me on top of it. And, of course, she’s the one who gave me two beautiful little boys and suffered mightily and bravely in the process, something for which no amount of thanks will ever be sufficient.

I give thanks for being an American, for being one of the lucky few to call this shining city on a hill home and, of course, thanks to America herself and her citizens for the warm, unconditional welcome I have been blessed with.

I give thanks to Almighty G-d for putting up with the grumpy, hedonistic atheist that I used to be for decades, all the while smiling patiently as He made wonders happen in my life regardless. While I may never have seen His face, I’m sure that, when I finally found Him, He had a warm smile on his face as he said “welcome home, my wayward son, I knew you’d find your way eventually.”

I give thanks for having the smartest, most compassionate and loyal readers and friends in the world, people that I, in many cases, have yet to meet in person but who, nevertheless, have always been there for me and mine as if we’d known each other forever and lived right next door to each other. A special thank you to the Rottie Staff™ for their tireless work in keeping this site full of excellent content even when I am being a lazy bastard and, of course, to the Imperial Tech Wizard Deej for keeping the pumps pumping and the pipes piping.

And last, but certainly not least, I give thanks to our military heroes, our brave, selfless men and women overseas without whom we’d be just another hole in the ground waiting for the next dictator with territorial aspirations to overrun us (that should have been written in fwench, by the way). I am grateful every day for what you do, what you sacrifice for our sakes here at home, but never more than when holidays roll around and I enjoy them with my family, knowing full well that I wouldn’t be doing so if it weren’t for YOU giving up the opportunity to do the same. And, like my wonderful wife, I would like to extend the same thanks to the families of our troops who are making the exact same sacrifice, only more so because it wasn’t their decision. But if it weren’t for those families’ support and love for their military loved ones’ decision, we most likely wouldn’t have any troops to speak of at all, because no Army can fight for long without the support of the ones they fight for.

Never forget that.

I know the other Imperial Correspondents will be posting this as well, but today I have been reminded of all the blessings in my life and I want to share them and give public Thanks for all that God has given me, which is surely more than I ever deserved.

I am thankful for my wife, a woman who is so much more than I deserve, a woman who saved me from a life of spiritual emptiness and solitude. With out her, I would be a bitter and miserable creature consigned to a life of hate and fear. Thank you Bangie Thing for saving my life.

I am thankful for my children who have made me whole and have become the sole focus of my life, showing me that I was not put on this earth for myself alone. I have two wonderful little Princesses who make every day a new and exiting adventure, and a son who has filled me with more pride than I thought possible.

I am thankful to have been born an American, to be the recipient of liberty and freedom that the rest of the world envies. And I am thankful for having been able to serve her, in a small way. I am thankful that I was allowed the honor to wear the Eagle Globe and Anchor and to be a part of the brotherhood of Marines.

I am thankful for a job which I enjoy, allows me to pay the bills, and that allows me to continue to serve others.

And I am thankful for the most loyal and generous friends a man could ever wish for, the Loyal Citizens and Denizens of the Rottweiler, my second family. I am thankful for the incredible friendships of Misha, BC, and Jackboot, who have been mentors, guides and true friends. And special thanks for Misha, who helped a decrepit old war horse make it through the passing of the torch to my son, and helped me put my own service into perspective. A truer friend a man could not ask for. And I am thankful for the trust he has placed in me, and the privilege of being a member of Management. Words can not do justice to the true feelings I have about the great people on this site that I am honored to call my friends.

Lastly I am thankful for the service and sacrifice of all those who wear the uniform of the United States of America, and for those on the home front who are also thankful and supportive of them. Organizations and people such as the ones Michelle Malkin talks about here.

Happy Thanksgiving to you all, my dear friends and family of the Rottweiler.

Some of you may remember the Troll Caps that Management could put in a comment to quickly identify those people who came here to disrupt things.  Those comments were easily identified by the following symbol:

The problem was that it was Management who had to manually do it, and eventually it just got forgotten.

Well, now the fun is back.

Most of you know we’ve had a recent visitor coming here sounding more like a cartoon plant than a true believer.  But nevertheless, a little like the person who steps into the room to fart, then leaves the smell behind for everyone to choke on.

I am not a fan of redacting — it takes a lot of the fun away.  But I think that everyone should have a say as to who is leaving behind those smelly comments.

So now you have a chance to VOTE whether a person is a “Troll”.  Right now, five negative votes will award that person a “Troll-Cap”.  I may adjust it later depending on how many “false trolls” we wind up with.

You will notice the two choices:   for Troll and  for a good comment.

The more people voting for the good comment will make it harder for someone to vote for the Troll.  Hopefully it will keep someone from maliciously marking someone just because they can.    But like I said, I can increase the threshold in case that is happening.

Okay, go forth and have fun!

Or, rather, the absence thereof.

For years, a black robed intestinal worm made a habit of trespassing on somebody else’s property until, one day, he claimed that his illegal behavior had led to an “emotional attachment” to said property.

The result? His thoroughly corrupt buddies and cronies in the “legal” system promptly awarded him with 34% of the property. I wonder how much he paid them to come down with that verdict.

Oh, and the property owners spent $100,000 in legal fees trying to defend their own property from “legal” theft, money that they most likely won’t ever see again either.

Yet another good reason to shoot trespassers on sight. Or, if you want to save the ammo, a good rope and a tree will do the job just fine. Leave his rotting carcass dangling on the property pour encourager les autres.

Rope. Tree. Judge.

You know the drill.

It is the time when we feel the urge to point out that the Rott has gotten a couple of new sponsors on the left sidebar that we’d like to point your attention toward since they’re every so helpful in keeping the site running AND they have some nifty stuff that you might want to check out.

The first is an old friend of ours, Realm Dekor, who have more wickedly kewl accessories for your home than you can shake a well-sharpened stick at, and the second one is an ad for a new book, “America Falling”, by Don Brockette about terrorists launching a campaign of bloodshed and murder in the U.S. All too plausible, unfortunately, thanks to the spineless feckwits in D.C. who bend over for every pisslamic terrorist in the world and their fifth column helpers in this country (yes, CAIR, we’re looking at you), not to mention their open borders policies that mean that any camel bothering, dish towel-wearing caveman can leisurely cross into the country any time he wishes.

Check ‘em out.

Sorry we didn’t cover this when it first appeared, but we were a bit under the weather and caught up in Other Things™.

RIYADH (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia defended on Tuesday a court’s decision to sentence a woman who was gang-raped to 200 lashes of the whip, after the United States described the verdict as “astonishing”.

The 19-year-old Shi’ite woman from the town of Qatif in the Eastern Province and an unrelated male companion were abducted and raped by seven men in 2006.

Just a recap: Our “Eternal Friends” in Shoddy Retardia had a case where a young woman was gang-raped by 7 Assholes for Allah, and their famed pisslamic “justice system” promptly responded by sentencing the victim to 200 lashes. Maybe the poor girl didn’t perform as well as the subhuman fig farmers’ favorite goats?

Ruling according to Saudi Arabia’s strict reading of Islamic law, a court had originally sentenced the woman to 90 lashes and the rapists to jail terms of between 10 months and five years. It blamed the woman for being alone with an unrelated man.

We stand corrected. According to pisslamic “law”, she was clearly guilty of having failed to invite a few friends along for her rape session.

We apologize for our lack of familiarity with “justice” under the religion of “peace.”

A State Department spokesman told reporters on Monday that “most (people) would find this relatively astonishing that something like this happens”.

If by “most people” you mean “anybody who ISN’T beholden to a ‘justice’ code that should have been wiped from the Earth 14 centuries ago”, you’re absolutely right.

The court also took the unusual step of initiating disciplinary procedures against her lawyer, Abdul-Rahman al-Lahem, forcibly removing him from the case for having talked about it to the media.

Our “eternal friends” are real big on freedom of speech too, it would seem.

“The Ministry of Justice welcomes constructive criticism … The system allows appeals without resort to the media,” said Tuesday’s statement issued on the official news agency SPA.

How you’re supposed to “constructively criticize” anything when the individuals in the know are prohibited from speaking about it is anybody’s guess, but we’re sure that our “eternal friends” have a perfectly good explanation for that too.

It berated media for not specifying that three judges, not one, issued the recent ruling and reiterated that the “charges were proven” against the woman.

How dare she be alone when she’s being brutally raped by seven cavemen?

It also repeated the judges’ attack against Lahem last week, saying he had “spoken insolently about the judicial system and challenged laws and regulations”.

How dare he be impolite when talking about a “justice” system that sentences the victim of gang-rape to jail and 200 lashes? Off with his head!

How’s this for impolite, you knuckle-dragging, primitive throwbacks to an era that should be mentioned only as a footnote in history books: Your so-called “laws” are the worst perversion of “justice” that we’ve ever heard of and, in our learned opinion, you all deserve to be brutally and painfully tortured to death along with anybody who as much as failed to spit on you when given the opportunity in the past. Your mere existence is a blight upon mankind, the fact that we continue to suffer your presence on the planet is a stain of eternal shame that we shall never live down and we pray humbly and desperately for Almighty G-d’s forgiveness for having failed to eradicate you and any memory of you from Earth?

Lahem was not available for comment.

Probably awaiting his beheading.

“Religion of Peace” my Imperial Arse.

I guess the checks must have arrived, because now the Useless Nitwits are realizing that the numbers they used to blackmail donations from taxpayers such as ourself may have been a tad lower than they initially reported. A teensy 7,000,000 tad, mind you (link thanks to Sir Christopher):

The United Nations sharply reduced its estimate of HIV-AIDS sufferers in an annual report Tuesday, saying a revision of statistics from India meant there were seven million less than previously thought.

Revised figures in the latest UNAIDS study slashed an estimate for total infections this time last year to 32.7 million from 39.5 million cases, the number given in the agency’s 2006 report.

“The single biggest reason for the reduction in global HIV prevalence figures in the past year was the recent revision in India after an intensive reassessment of the epidemic in that country,” UNAIDS said in its report.

At least they have the class to blame somebody else for their “slight error.” That was sarcasm, in case you didn’t know.

The number of people worldwide infected with HIV in 2007 totalled 2.5 million people 32.2 million are now living with the virus, the report said. More than two million people died from the disease in 2007.

Give or take 7 million, we’re sure.

“Reliable public health data are the essential foundation for an effective response,” said Kevin De Cock, head of HIV/AIDS at the World Health Organisation.

“We need to continue investing more in all countries and all aspects of strategic information relating to health,” he added.

No, we do not “need to” invest anything else based on your flawed, hyperinflated numbers, you parasitic growth on the lower intestine of humanity. And “Kevin de Cock?” How strangely — appropriate.

Numbers of people living with the virus were levelling out and the percentage of the population affected was now in decline, the report said.

So the numbers are leveling out and the percentage of the afflicted is actually in decline? This is an argument in favor of more money? Somebody needs remedial logic lessons, wethinks.

But hey, as long as it’s in a “good cause” (meaning: Keeping overpaid, underworked, useless parasites in a job paid for by yours truly), we guess it’s OK.
