Let me be the first to say, and I mean this with the most respect that I can muster on this day…F.U !!!
This is the downer of what was a good football weekend.

Well, I’ll help you make up for it when you can gig me after my recap/rant on the OU game tomorrow.

The Badgers are 5-0 and #5 (in both the joke-of-a-poll AP Coaches Poll and the poll-that-really-counts USA Today Writers Poll), the Packers are 4-0, and Da Bearz are 1-3.
‘Tis truly a great football season.

Hey, My Raiders are tied for first in the AFC West, who’d a thought?
ASU is in the top 25, and moving up.
USC won, but may lose #1 because they couldn’t beat Washington by as great of a margin as LSU beat mighty Tulane.
Denver lost!
But, “AMERICA’S TEAM”
has to go and pull one out.
Like I said, it was a good weekend.

Are you sure Da Bears actually benched Rex Grossman and played Brian Griese this week? Because whoever Chicago’s QB was today, he threw three picks and Da Bears lost again. To Detroit.
My Chiefs are tied for first in the AFC West, too. Despite the best efforts of Hermie *spit* Edwards.
Dwayne Bowe is certainly proving he was worth a first-round draft pick, isn’t he?
…Did I actually hear pissed-off Chargers fans chanting “MARTY! MARTY!” during the fourth quarter…? *snork*
…And the Missouri Tigers are also 4-0 and in the top 25, too. Life is good…

Best offense in football in Dallas, who’d thunk it with the defensive guru coming in.
Don’t look know, but they are playing a little D too

They’re only doing well because Jerry Jones threatened to move the new stadium to Garland if the ‘Boys had a loosing season. And he promised them ice cream if they could go an entire season without racking up a single misdameanor charge.

Well, looking at the four teams they’ve beaten, I ain’t too impressed.
My nephew, though, has got to be basking in glory just like you.
At least the Cardinals beat the Steelers yesterday.

[…] commenter JanetMae makes a good point - Dallas hasn’t really played a team of substance yet, although the Ram & Bear defenses […]

It’s time for TO to start acting up. With Romo playing so well he is bound to feel slighted for not being the center of attention.

Thank you Sooooo much Rad. Buddy. Pal. How about giving me a nice paper cut and pouring lemon juice on it? Nothing like kicking a man when he’s down. I haven’t seen a meltdown like that since Howard Dean. But, like the Red Sox fans have always said, “Wait til next year!”

Hey I like the Mets. As a matter of fact, one way I judge what is A Good Summer™ is whether they finish higher than the Spankees, further galling their shallow fans. This is definitely not A Good Thing™

Gee, don’t feel too bad Ten-Ten, just be glad I wasn’t around to give you a good old fashioned ribbing. But, since I’m here now…
Tells the New York Chokers that this Phillies fan thank them for helping us get rids of the Ghosts of ‘64, while I’m sure Cubbies fans are laughing at them as they remember on whose dime the Miracles Mets of 69 were able to get into the playoffs that year. Seriously, I thank them so much. CHOKES!!!!!!!!
Wait til next year!?! You sure you’re not from Brooklyn? G, D and RLH!
