Michael Yon tells the truth the media wont. Not much more to add to this, other than that we ARE winning, and that moments like this are what we have been fighting for. Michelle Malkin has a nice take on it as well.

It great to see actual pictures of the progess we are making. I have a buddy who was there for 11 months, every time I talked to him, he said the exact opposite of what we seen on a nightly basis. Sure it wasn’t all rosie over there it’s a friggin war, but listening to him and others who have told me the same thing, must of the Iraqis are just good people who just want to get on with their lives, but are glad we did what we did to save them, why don’t most fight? they are afraid. I guess living under the rule of a dictator ain’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Thanks Michael, keep the great pictures and posts coming.

That, gentlemen, is the image of victory! Muslims and Christians are living side by side in peace, even helping each other worship!

    We. Will. ALWAYS! Win.

That’s an image I needed to see if for no other reason than for peace of mind.

I hope that example of community across religious lines is contagious.

That is a newspaper cover worthy shot. Why is it not a newspaper cover? :em98:

Why is it not a newspaper cover?

Because they would be seen as the little back-stabbing bastards that they are, sensationalism whores ready to have their own soldiers killed and wounded for their first page. Because they are told by the lefties that these images would be in direct disagreement with the official headlines fed to the public, that’s why.

Day By Day is good. Funny, and sometimes they hit a nerve, in a good way.

I do wanna see how the libs can spin that pic of the Muslims and Christians living together as anything but good. Come on, lefties, it’s diversity in harmony, right?

For what it’s worth, some of the Muzzies, do take care of business. Turks, they off terrorists aplenty. Egypt does too. Morocco, and some of the few non Jihadist areas do. All the rest, too jihadi, or swinging that way. I do remember a story last year or the year before when an Iraqi or foreign terrorist was shot and wounded by Iraqi Ground Troops, and they just let a mob of pissed off Shiites or Sunnis rip him apart, like Kapos on liberation day, and a pile of Monkey Bread. If only more of them would go after the extremists, we could leave sooner. But, we can’t.
