They’re almost as much fun to watch as their patented car swarms, in which they swarm cars recently blown up by the IAF in order to snatch an ear, nose, arm or even (and this is the most coveted prize of the paleosimian car swarmer, seeing as how extremely difficult they are to locate) a piece of the genitals of the newly minted martyr.

Anyway, back to the memorial, this one dedicated to everybody’s favorite Nobel Peace Prize winner. No, we’re not talking about the Goreacle, we’re talking about somebody even more imbecilic and vile, hard though that is to imagine. We’re talking, of course, about the Gorebecile’s fellow Nobel Laureate, Yasser Arafish.

Hundreds of thousands of Fatah supporters fled in panic today after gunfire erupted at a memorial event for former Palestinian Liberation Organisation leader Yasser Arafat.

“I went to a memorial, and a firefight broke out.” Only in the Terrortories, ladies and gentlemen. More fun than you can shake a bangalore torpedo at. Not that you should let that stop you, as long as you remember to light the cord first.

The anniversary had given the defeated faction in Hamas-controlled Gaza a rare chance to hold a rally. Medical officials said at least 15 people were wounded.

Piss poor marksmanship, we regretfully have to point out.

Fatah officials accused Hamas forces of opening fire from the nearby Islamic University. Hamas said its men had come under fire from Fatah gunmen and shot back.

Who cares, really? As long as there’s shooting going on and it involves both factions of the paleosimian terror franchise. But we suppose that you do have to settle the issue eventually, so here’s a suggestion: Why don’t the both of you line up and settle it like men? With fully automatic firearms. We’ll supply the ammo, free of charge. Just do us a favor and do something about that “aiming thing” that seems to cause you so much trouble.

A sea of yellow Fatah flags and waves of emotion had filled a Gaza square for the biggest assembly Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’s secular faction has held in the territory since Hamas Islamists routed its fighters in violence last June.

We love journaljizzm. “President Mahmoud Abbas’ secular faction.” Because nothing says “moderate” better than having your children, sisters and wives blown up on buses in a secular fashion.

But as gunfire rang out and grew into what Hamas described as battles with Fatah fighters, even members of the crowd who had initially stood their ground bolted for cover.

Hopefully somebody got some good footage of this. It would almost certainly make for a highly entertaining watching experience.

In an earlier incident near the scene of the rally, Fatah activists said a Hamas security man fired at a vehicle carrying people to the assembly, killing one passenger. Medical workers said a body with gunshot wounds arrived at Gaza’s morgue.

Which, in Gaza, is about as unusual as somebody showing up at their doctor’s office for a flu shot over here.

Hamas said he might have been killed by Fatah fire.

“Today we all rise up and one day the Hamas aggressors will be gone,” said a teenager at the event who would give his name only as Khaled.

We’re not quite sure how “rising up” against the “aggressors” is best accomplished by hitting the deck or hiding behind dumpsters, “Khaled”, but whatever you say.

Hamas has banned opposition rallies since its Gaza takeover but any move to prevent a remembrance ceremony for Arafat, the iconic leader who died on November 11, 2004, would have been widely unpopular among Palestinians.

As opposed to opening fire on the festive crowd which, over there, is quite acceptable. We know that we don’t have a problem with it. Yasser must be getting lonely down there in Hell with nobody but Satan’s eternally horny, frighteningly well-endowed demons for “company.”

Huge murals of Arafat in his trademark Arab headdress, and a smaller picture of Abbas, had provided a backdrop for the event which organisers said was attended by more than 250,000 people.

And those Hamas Hamass-clowns only managed to wound 15? Sort of makes the Italian Army’s famous “stand” at Beda Fomm look like a major military success by comparison, doesn’t it?

Fatah nationalist songs blared from loudspeakers as many in the crowd voiced their longing for Arafat, regarded by Palestinians as a symbol of unity.

250,000 bullets would reunite you with that AIDS-ridden old lecherous pedophile quickly enough, you know. So hop to it.

“Abu Mazen (Abbas) is not like Arafat but he is our president now and we respect him. We urge him to end Hamas occupation,” Khaled said.

While you’re “standing up to the aggressors” under that falafel stand over yonder no doubt, Khaled.

Hamas erected at least 10 checkpoints on Gaza’s main north-south road to inspect vehicles heading to the event, local residents said. Fatah officials said some buses were turned back and passengers then set out on foot, but Hamas denied this.

That they set out on foot or that they turned back the buses? More importantly: Why would anybody possibly care?

WAFA news agency, run by Abbas’s office, accused Hamas of stealing dozens of pictures of Arafat…

Nope. Wasn’t them. We did it. Speaking of which: Would it be too much to ask for you to issue those pictures with the bull’s eye pre-printed, by any chance? Our printers aren’t cheap, you know.

…and 30,000 headdresses symbolising the late leader

Look for those on U.S. college campuses. The staff lounge or the dormitories, probably both.

…that came through an Israeli-run border crossing point earlier in the day.

A pro-Hamas Internet site quoted a Hamas security official as saying trucks carrying yellow Fatah flags and hats were seized “at a time when the Gaza Strip is being deprived of basic goods and medicine”.

“The Joooos stole them!”

Only if they were made out of soft double-ply, you deranged goatmolesters.

Israel has tightened border restrictions with Gaza since Hamas, which opposes Abbas’s peace moves with the Jewish state, came to power in the territory but has pledged humanitarian aid can go through.

Apparently, pictures of one of history’s greatest monsters as well as replicas of the dish towel he used to wear on his head now qualify as “humanitarian aid.”

But back to the important issue here: Would somebody please teach those Hamass-holes to hit?

Thatisall.

Odd, kind of surreal…watching them all waving the pallie flag that is to represent their ’state’, in honor of the man who walked out of Camp David in 2000, choosing hate/blood/death over an offer that was simply too good for even a savage like yassir to pass up….or so we thought.
Imagine if yassir actually cared about his ‘people’…they’d be waving those flags with safer streets, good food in their stomachs, and billions of foreign aid flowing hand over fist to their infrastructure. Now, they cheer from slums for the very cocksucker who denied them these things out of pure, childish hate and opportunistic bloodshed. The pawns are cheering.

I thought the BBC article started off very interestingly…

The violence occurred when Fatah supporters began taunting Hamas police and throwing stones, witnesses said.

The Hamas security forces reportedly responded by firing towards the crowd.

This whole crowd-pleasing should get be supported with more first-world equipment. A couple of Mk77 bombs, maybe a few nice frag-incend arty shells and a few German Handflammpatronen (single use phosporic flamethrower)…. That would save the civilized world a lot of trouble and the MSM the embarrassment of having to report this kind of crap…. But hey, scratch last. That’s what they love.

Might I offer a couple of GBU-12 (canuck’s 1000 pounders) for that special “we care” effect to add to your suggestion, along with a couple of passes using my trusted G61 GE 20mm Vulcan for “closure”..? Top this with a couple of smart aerobatics as a final salute (and reminder as to the price in indulging in terrorism) and I think we’d have a decent celebration.

Yeah, come to think of it, the markmanship (on in this case, lack thereof) is perplexing..? Maybe they find it difficult to hurt a “fellow terrorist”? Let me ask Achmed, the Dead Terrorist, he might have some insightful thoughts on the matter…

Amen to that. It’s incredible how the double standard is so utterly overlooked, being such a crucial key to the potential solution of this problem. And for the post above, indoctrination is pathetic at even some of the best universities. Read some of Alan Derschowitz’ new stuff on FrontPageMag.com, very eye-opening. That is food for thought, ACLPoo. Yet I wonder if they would be the dying breed, rather than those such as us here at the Rott? I somehow suspect they would be shocked as they either submitted to Sharia law or died. My guess is both. We suffer from no such delusions, and I for one, due to the revulsion I feel towards such types, would harbor little, if any compunctions in treating them in the same fashion I would any other traitor. Tolerance can become a close cousin to cowardice. Those having no principles deserve no consideration from those that to.

Yeah, I find this scary as well my friend. They don’t have a f.cking CLUE as to what they’re protesting against, yet they march and chant because that’s what they’ve been told to do by one or two people. They act like they are aware of the political situation, yet only spew forth mindless drivel. They are being conditonned and dumbed down, and they don’t have the least idea that it is happening. They can only absorb what they are taught… Nice job, so-called teachers! Bunch a socialist, communistic wannabe hippies who think they have it all figured out, yet have convinced themselves they can indoctrinate our children. What you saw was the result of theire so-called teachings. I do NOT have the patience to deal with any of these “protestors”, it’s not worth my time nor intellect to even listen to their mindless drivel.

what you guys said, you ought to see what’s going on up here in Washington State. For years the protest dopes have been screaming “Bring the troops home!!”. Well….one of our Stryker brigades are offloading their vehicles and gear at the port of Olympia, just returned from 15 months in Iraq….so they’re home!! just like the protestdopes want right? so the protestors are blocking the streets leading out of the port, and obstructing the trucks carrying the gear home to Ft. Lewis. They’re rioting and trashing the streets and even going so far as standing in front of the heavy equipment movers with their infant children on their shoulders!!…….what a bunch of pathetic losers, stupid and irrelevant….no wonder they all have therapists.

As for me, I used to ditch high school to watch the anti-war protests in 1970 -72, it was great sport watching REAL demonstrators getting whomped by the police. But hearing their chants and songs always made me hungry for some reason, even today whenever I hear the song “Give Pizza Chants” my stomach rumbles…..
