Great Moments In Journaljizzm, Part 3,449

LC Darth Bacon sends us this link about a Louisiana politician who apparently engaged in a bit of racist rhetoric:
HOUMA, La. — A state representative in a runoff election infuriated civil rights leaders after she ended a conversation with the mother of the NAACP’s local president by saying, “Talk to you later, Buckwheat.”
State Rep. Carla Blanchard Dartez, of Morgan City, acknowledged she made the remark during a Thursday night telephone conversation with Hazel Boykin to thank her for driving voters to the polls.
Yes, LCs and G.L.O.R.s, it’s time to play…
“Guess The Party Affiliation™”
Which party could this racist douchenozzle possibly belong to? The article doesn’t say and, in so doing, tells us exactly which party she belongs to. But, being devoted to accuracy in reporting and backing up our claims with facts (which pretty much guarantees that we’ll never work for the media), we checked out that new-fangled, highly advanced online gadget that impeccably credentialed journaljizzmers lorded over by umpty-leven layers of rigorously fact-checking editors can’t quite seem to figure out, bless their pointed little skulls, and found this.
YES! Our spotless prediction record remains spotless. We’re so proud. How many of you got it right?
Now imagine if the smart-mouthed suckweasel had belonged to The Other Party™ (no spoilers here). Do you think that party affiliation would’ve been scrupulously edited out prior to print then? You get three guesses and the first two don’t count.
What media bias?

Apparently they ‘updated’ the article and now it included this tidbit:
So not only can she not drive safely, her husband uses illegal alien labor.
November 13th, 2007 at 9:49 AMThe sad thing is that this bitch still might win.

I have guessed right!!! I’ll send you my home address so you’ll know where to post my cigar… They just love to do to themselves, don’t they!?!? Oh, I see she’s also part of the “Central Committee”… Is it like a Politburo type of committee? Judging by their actions, sure is easy to be fooled… My word, even though I live in Canada, I cannot WAIT to see your election results my Americans friends. Tell you what, as a show of support, should Hillarious Silly Bitch get elected, I’ll get totally shitfaced. If she does not get elected, I’ll get totally shitfaced. Former is for sorrow, the latter for rejoicing…
What a bunch of asswipes! (my apologies to asswipes everywhere…)

This is a pretty weird occurrence–a demoncrat gettin’ publicly cross-wise with some of her best supporters in her “captive” constituency. Notice the conversation was about “Buckwheat” Boykin drivin’ voters to the polls–after a stop at Popeye’s and maybe a packy for some 40s. That’s what votin’ rahts is all about–gettin’ fed and buzzed–at least ifn you’re a demoncrat. So why would Buckwheat drop the dime on her chicken ‘n’ 40-buyin’ Alfalfa? Best I can figure is it’s a total melt-down of the demoncrat machinery in most of Louisiana. Even the NAACP is dumping its former allegiances and flexing it’s race-baiting muscle to try to whip some new scum pols into line. You could also describe it as “eating their own young.” On stuff like this, La tends to be the canary in the coal mine. Watch for it in your local politics in the next couple of years. The positive spin is that this may be the beginning of death spasms for the NAACP and their race-baiting political cronies.

Hey! I was misquoted. I said “Buttmeat”, not “Buckwheat”.
Thanks,

Carla, Carla……when you pick em, you really pick em. Why not just go ahead and call up Jesse Jackson and order some watermelons while you’re at it?

Uhh…. Alex, I’ll take “What is a Libertarian”?

Nice going, Carla and Lenny; Huey Long would be sooo proud of you.

Buckwheat? I guess Stepandfetchit was just too wordy.
Nice job stepping in it up to your neck, Carla. Dumbass.

How can anyone question leftists’ patriotism? They just simply have a different kind of love for America!
November 13th, 2007 at 6:33 PMUsing
Hell, it was the republicans that got the 1964 civil rights bill passed, not the democrats. They simply took it over catering to the losers, sponges and those refusing to take responsibility for themselves.

OK,
I just forwarded this letter to the New Orleans office of Je$$e’s Rainbow/PUSH Shakedown Outfit in hopes of duping them into eating another of their own.
My guess is even they will find the rank, oily nature of Dem politicians unpalatable.
Dear Ms. Williams,
I wanted to bring this horrifying, shameful incident to your attention, in case it has not already been done.

Surely you agree we must all condemn this act of hate speech, and demand redress for the unpardonable sin of intolerance that belittles us all by extension. It goes without saying that political affiliation is not anything to hide behind after having uttered such a vile slur, and Democrat or Republican, we must all be called to account for our divisive and destructive biases.
Is there any plan afoot to try and compel some kind of public accounting on the part of Rep. Dartez? I should certainly hope there is- after all, so many of us do look to Rainblow/PUSH to lead the way in demanding civil rights, as well as freedom from such verbal offense, on all of our behalf.
Sincerely,
XXXXX X XXXX (my name redacted- DB)

I wonder where Al and Jesse are on this one? I guess their’s not enough money and photo ops to get involved.
November 13th, 2007 at 8:40 PMUsing
Right where they always are when one of their running dogs has a Macaca Moment™…whistling past the lane, knowing full well that their other running dogs in the media will memory-hole this one.

I saw this great joke about Al and Jesse. They wish on a star for racial harmony, and poof–they are gone.

Don’t think for a minute that they haven’t considered the fact that it says “State Rep.”, and that it might just make people think she is a Republican.

Here’s a blast from the past. Who said this?
[humming Final Jeopardy theme]
Give up? It was Dan Rather, in reference to CBS management and its handling of Chandra Levy news story.

Typical doublestandard of the libs and their press lapdogs. Jump all over a Trent Lott ot George Allen comment, but don’t say shiite about the Robert Byrds, Ray Nagins, Hillary Clintons, and other prejudiced posers of the proliteriat.
Some day, they’re all going down.

Here’s what the weasels at Je$$e’s Shakedown Outfit said in response- a steaming heap of excuses.
Mr XXXX,
Thank you for your e-mail. Rainbow PUSH is aware of the shameful “Buckwheat” comment made by Rep. Carla Blanchard Dartez during a conversation with Ms. Hazel Boykins. While we agree Rep. Blanchard’s comment are reprehensible and conduct not becoming of an elected official, Rainbow PUSH is not involved in any action as it relates to this matter. Our organization generally gets involved when requested by a person with standing i.e. Ms. Boykins, to date she has not requested our assistance.
Sincerely
Sheila Williams
Executive Director
Rainbow PUSH New Orleans
BWAHAHAHAH!!!
“Generally” they don’t get involved without a request. I wonder if the stripper in the Duke Non-Rape case requested Je$$e’s help…
