AAAaahhh, Christmas

Sitting here enjoying my “boys” enjoying thier new toys I am filled with pride, joy, and more happiness than anyone person ought to be allowed to have. I am SO thankful for my “boys”. Misha with his new cordless tools, Christian with his new guitar ( and totally rocking), Luke with his skateboard and hot wheels set, and Maverick with his raw hide bone (LOL). MY boys! I love each one of them dearly. I wish everyone in the world could feel what I’m feeling now!
Now that we have enjoyed our traditional Christmas morning I want to wish all our beloved LC’s a Very Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy New Year!!. We are blessed to know you and have y’all as a part of our lives. Thank you for your support, it means the world to us!
Also I want to thank all the men and women of our armed services for giving me the opportunity to celebrate Christmas the way I always have, and the blessing of being able to enjoy watching my “boys” enjoying their new toys. It means the world to me to be able to have these experiences. Thank you Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines!!!! We love you too and support you 100% for everything you do. This country is soooo blessed to have selfless people that are willing to risk their lives for others!! Never let anyone tell you ANYTHING any different than that. If they do, please remember my words–”little people”, ordinary everyday american citizens love and support you and what you stand for no matter what politicians or journalists try to tell you!
I also want to remember the families of our awesome military! Thank you to all the military families for sacrificing time with your loved ones so that my family is able to enjoy freedom, and do the things we love to do (like going to the gun range to shoot)! We love and support you too. Without y’all this country would be in a fix because I doubt that we would have the best military in the world. So Thank You to all the military families…. I just cant say that enough because y’all dont hear it enough!
I also need to thank Jesus because without Your blessings, love, and forgiveness I would be unable to fully appreciate and enjoy all the things I do. Thank You Jesus for being in my heart and in my life, and for my beautiful family (which i cherish). I ask in Jesus name, Please watch over and bless our extended Rottie family as well as our military and their families. Amen.
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!!

Found this little pearl over on LGF,
thought it would be a good present for Hardclimber,
Sorry if re-gifting offends anyone.
Dashing through the sky
In an F18 hornet sleigh
Over the clouds we go,
Laughing all the way;
Jihadists in my sights
infrared targets bright,
What fun it is to aim and shoot
My Ordnance tonight
Jingle bells, jingle bells,
jingle all the way!
O what fun it is to blow
jihadi scum away
Merry Christmas, all.

Merry Christmas to you and Misha and your sons, Empress! Delfts would second that, I know, but he is sawing a few necessary logs after a big after-opening-all-the-presents-under-the-tree breakfast!
We’ve got computer problems, though, so I’m sayin’ it from him as well, since the motherboard is a bit dicey this week and may blow up at any second.
Anyways, We hope y’all’s Christmas day continues to be wonderful.
Merry Christmas, fellow Rotties!

A very Merry Christmas to all my friend’s that I’ve had the chance to meet through the Rottweiler Empire.
In a small way, I can. It makes me think back to the good years with the borderline chaos of opening presents, gift wrapping everywhere and everyone wanting to play with their new stuff while trying to play with everyone elses new stuff.
This has been a sedate Christmas here. I had to work 12 hour shifts for 6 days, although today was only 8 hours. It made it hard to muster up any Christmas spirit. Get up before dawn, work, home after dark, eat, sleep, repeat.
I got to see my boy for over 1/2 hour when I got home before he had to run off to his girlfriends…going together for 5 years, so he’s part of their family too, and as much as I feel it should, the world just won’t conform to my schedule.
Once again, MERRY CHRISTMAS to all, the Emperor and his family, my friends here and of course to the men and women that have given up this time with thier family and allow us to enjoy this time with our family feeling secure in our homes.

Must mean that we’re all doubly patriotic.
It’s snowing LC’s!!! I’ve lived in the Pacific Northwest for 25 years and we’ve never had a white Christmas…..just when I thought the day couldn’t get more perfect. What a great Christmas present, and totally unexpected.
Merry Christmas to you all…….i need a refill on the hot cider

I just got off the phone with my Mom who live outside Portland, Or., and she said they’re getting a good snow….coming down lightly, turning the ground white and then slowly melting away…pretty to watch with no hassles.

Definately a white Christmas here in Utah! We have had a very quiet Christmas, our daughter is only 3 months so she is too young yet for a huge Christmas blow out. We are home this year after traveling for the past 2 Christmases so it has been just great.

1. Merry christmas to you, the Boss, and the Royal Heirs, Empress.
2. It snowed here in the south sound for a while, Jaybear, but then it melted.
3. Heir No. Two finally figured it out today…

Cherish those moments while they are young M’Lady. Glance away for a moment, and they’ll be graduating from High School. A short blink and they’ll be showing you and the Boss, the next generation.
Merry Christmas to the Imperial Family and many, many more.
And from the Imperial Ambassador’s residence to the entire Realm, G-d’s Blessings to all.

What a great Christmas. After tracking Santa on the NORAD sight, it was off to Midnight Mass. We didn’t get home from that and the traditional soirée at Bangies grandparents until 0400 so we had to wake the Princesses up at 0900 to tell them Santa had come. They were happy, even though we had told them Santa was out of the Barbie “Jam Jam” Powerwheels Jeep. Hehe, Santa was out, but WalMart still had one left
The best present I could get was being able to see the girls open their presents, courtesy of a good buddy who covered the first 6 hours of my shift at work.
And then to read all the great Christmas cheer my family here had as well. God Bless you all, and especially may he shine his love on those who are away from their families so that we can be with ours in safety.

Me again….
Merry Christmas to all, again, and a happy New Year.
No tree this year, but I have food in the house, a roof over my head, a job, and plenty of people who care about me, so I’d say I’m way ahead of the game.

Crunch, I remember playing the Santa game with my boys….we would read a story, either the Polar Express or the Night Before Christmas then look out the window to see if we could see Rudolph’s nose glowing in the sky. Any airplane light that had a reddish glow to it was good enough to start a mad scramble to bed for those guys, and I played it to the hilt….warning them that they better get to bed before Rudolph passed over the house…..
Like JB sez:
I got one in his Junior year at Seattle Pacific University and my youngest starts at Washing State next week…..where in the hell did the time go, and why didn’t I take more pictures?
We had Cornish Game Hens for dinner tonight, then dug out old videotapes of the boys when they were little at Christmas and watched them…..all in all, ’twas a perfect Christmas.
in case you all didn’t see it the first time around, here’s my Christmas cybercard to all of you,
takes a sec to load so be patient:
Merry Christmas

Seems I just read Santa was cited for drunk driving in LA, his reindeer impounded and was released on five grand bail. But reading of His Rottiness and his gifts…
And you just bought a house, Sire…..I hope you like building things, as I do.
December 25th, 2007 at 9:43 PMIm a word, you been had, Dad.
Last year, Christmas Eve, I recieved a beautiful set of cordess tools, real ballsy nineteen point two volt monsters. A nice saw, basically a monster jig saw, two drills and a cordless hedge trimmer.
The Other Half had been after me to build a gate across the carport door facing the alley behind the house.
Guess what I did Christmas Day?
She was happy.
Took six hours, two smashed fingers and a lot of swearing, but a nice new eleven by six foot gate now hangs there…….just had to dig four big strap hinges out of my boneyard along with other miscellaneous hardware.
Enjoy yourself….for the tools are truly a godsend, and no cord to cut through either.
Enjoy your new toys, Misha……

I got a nice missive in the mail on Christmas eve from a colonel friend in the Baghdad embassy. He really had me cheering for him when he told me he was involved in the Blackwater investigation. If you are wondering why the MSM’s aren’t saying much about it anymore it seems they were handed their hats when reminded about who has to answer to the UCMJ and Blackwater’s general permissions to operate in a war zone confirmed and okayed by the Iraqi government.

Quick story reference Christmas…
Once, I was part of a scramble of two birds to intercept a bogey off the coast of Labrador, no IFF, no radio contact, just a seemingly lost aircraft flying parallel to the coast line at angel 30, 125knots, south-east heading on Christmas eve, around 2215 hrs. Scrambled, made the intercept (a twin engine civilian Jetstream with comms malfunction) about 25 minutes later, escorted him to GooseBay, saw him safely on the ground, and headed back to base… Debrief and turnover to the next standby flight, then headed home to rest (made it home at six in the morning, tired but happy )and looked forward to celebrate once by boys were up and about. Well, they both were up and waiting for me, and their first question was “where were you dad?!? It’s Christmas you know!”… Told them I had to fly north and safely escort Santa into Canadian airspace so that he could finish dropping off the gifts and all. Should have seen their faces! “You saw Santa!? Did he have lots of gifts? Were the reindeer afraid of your plane? Is he coming here soon?”. That evening, while opening their gifts, they told my wife “Dad made sure Santa was OK so he could bring us our gifts!” One of the too few Christmas I was actually home…
Indeed, precious moments…
