Thanks to a tip from LC Beth, we found ourself shamelessly stealing this photo from LC & IB John Noonan, whose blog you should be reading every day if you aren’t already.
We know we are.

Pretty much sums it up, doesn’t it?
While our troops are fighting overseas, putting their butts on the line in defense of all of us, a depressingly large amount of self-indulgent, whiny couch potatoes here at home are too busy shopping, following Britney Trailer Trash’s escapades and watching American Idol to give a good damn.
And yes, we know full well that a good deal of the blame for this goes to the President, whose first words after 9/11 was to tell us all to go back to business as usual. His Majesty fully understands and agrees with the principle that the terrorists shouldn’t have the satisfaction of seeing us all holed up in our rooms, paralyzed with fear of the goat-buggering gimps but this principle seems to have been taken a little bit too far. Nobody said for you drooling dolts to just forget about the whole thing and pretend it never happened, you know?
For years, we’ve said time and time again that the Administration needed to get the message out, to stay ON the message, and too keep pounding it into the skulls of the mindless zombies out there in front of their dummy tubes, or it wouldn’t last until the next season of American Idol.
And the Administration has failed miserably in doing that.
Well, there’s STILL a war going on, and if any of you Oprah fans out there are thinking that you can just opt out of a conflict that has been raging for 1,400 years and make the Scary Men go away, you’ve got a second think coming.
We ALL have, which is what really pisses His Majesty off. If it were only the Idiotarians who can’t be arsed to take any interest in the Long War who would pay the price for their willful ignorance and eagerness to stick their heads in the sand, then we’d be tempted to say that they’d be doing the gene pool an enormous favor by taking themselves out of it.
But that’s not the case.
You think that you can just ignore the problem and it’ll go away, that we can just withdraw behind our borders and talk our way out of this conflict?
That worked so amazingly well for us back on 9/10/2001 and before, didn’t it?
Get your far arses out of the malls and off your couches, or you will, one day in the future, be looking back on 9/11 as a day you wish you could go back to, because the next attack will make that day look like a mild note of disagreement.
But hey, don’t let all of this depressing stuff distract you from that great sale at J.C. Penney’s now, y’hear?

F+++ anyone who doesn’t believe I don’t think about this gottdam war every minute of my waking day. I know that Misha’s just preaching to the choir here most of the time, but to think our troops are fighting over in that hellhole thinking we don’t care about them just fries my butt.
By way of Caveman, I joined Soldiers Angels. If there is anything I can do to help someone serving our country, I will be willing to do it.
I haven’t heard back from my “adopted” soldier yet, but I don’t care if she is ultra liberal, I will do my damnest to support her, ever if I don’t agree with her politics.
She is there and I am not, so we can talk about everything but politics if she wants, just so she knows someone back here cares.

Seems like people would wake the fuck up after the Utah Mall incident …notice how that hit the MSM and *poof* gone the next day…
What’s gonna happen when it’s ten of the mutt fuckers wielding shotguns and they mow down 100 Sheeple? …Shop on folks…shop on.

Speaking from personal experience, the troops know exactly who is supporting them and who isn’t…they seem to also realize that those of us that do support them are being drowned out by the whimpering mall rats…

Thanks for that. Seeing where you posted from (the little flag, thanks DJ) I’ll take your word that they know.
It was just the sign, which may have just been a motivator for someone in a shitty situation, made me go though a RCOB*.

I rememver after 9/11 the Prez saying, “You’re either with us or against us!”
What the fuck happened to that? Jordan,Iran and Pakistan are STILL supporting terrorism and nothing is being done. I know the Paki’s say they have no control over some parts of their country. So wouldn’t a few air strikes to the areas where the terrorists are crossing help? Fuck those governments that won’t send out their own to stem the flow!

The title of this post is accurate. After watching day after day about britney and anna nicole I feel like screaming at the news I”M AS MAD AS HELL AND I’M NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!! does anyone else on this blog ever feel that way abou most news stations? :question_wp: :mad_wp:

mindy1
I’ve been mad as hell for over 15 years now, and the only thing that save me was finding the internet which brought me here.
I use to have FNC running whenever I was home. Since these two women did their thing, I’ve given up on getting news from anywhere outside cruising the net.
At least I know what I’m delving into at the time and can find something that will really affect my life.

I know I do mindy, I’ve stopped watching any new on the idiotbox. I’ll get my news online where I can weed through the libtard chaff and find the real sories.

Hell my tv hasn’t been on in MONTHS! I never turn it on. If I can’t get the news I need from the Internet I don’t need it.
February 26th, 2007 at 5:17 PMI’d rather have my fingernails ripped off with pliers and have to watch video of BC and JB dancing in their boxers doing Karaoke to YMCA than to have to watch anything on the television and give any of those vapid, self important assholes higher ratings. :undecided_tb:

I have lurked for a long time, never felt I had much to add… but I agree 100% with your sentiments O Emperor… the dingbats must be fought everywhere, and fought hard. The only problem is that they are everywhere.
For example, right now, Charles J. of Littlegreenfootballs.com and crew (yes I’m one of the crew, but under another name) is involved in a “turf war” with seething, screeching progressives over at Digg.com.
We’re fighting hard, but they are really coming out of the woodwork to “bury” any stories that are pro-military or anti-islamofascist. Not to mention the screeching in the comments…
I know how patriotic you folks are here, if you’d like to lend a hand you can currently find the topic about the Digg.com “bury wars” near the top at LGF. Registering at Digg.com is easy, and if you’d like to roll up your sleeves and take on some foaming-at-the-mouth libs, here’s the chance.
Of particualr interest (and the tie-in for this thread) is a topic found here : http://digg.com/politics/The_These_Colors_Don_t_Run_Caravan_gears_up …The comments will make you sick.
One poster there on that topic claims to be currently stationed in Iraq, and there is some doubt to the validity of the information…
I would appreciate any help you can give, as nothing is more disgusting than a lefty impersonating a genuine hero.
He gives his “real” name, and the following:
Could anyone with the expertise figure out if this information is valid or not? Is this guy for real, or another imposter.

Mr. Krinkle, welcome aboard!
Army MOS 92A is indeed an Automated Logistical Specialist.
Translated into non-milspeak, he’s a supply wienie. Beans and bullets.
Young PFC (E-3) Graduated from Basic in September of 2005 (by his own claim). That makes him somewhere in the neighborhood of 18 - 19 months time in service. In a Combat Zone, he is either a stone fuck-up, been busted (not necessarily the same thing), or is lying.
Having read some of his comments, I’m inclined to believe he is a fuckup. Someone else may think differently.

I am with many of you. How soon America forgets that we are war being fought on a peacetime budget and dwindling support (at least in Denver) of our troops.
There are many Americans who lack the fortitude to realize, Radical Islam and their preachers of hate are not defeated. When we win in Iraq (G-D willing and RINOs /Dems don’t surrender) we will not be done.
This is only the beginning of a war that must be continually supported, and I am horrified by the adverage Americans view.
You can make a difference, two years ago I adopted a platoon. http://adoptaplatoon.org/new/
They now need more help, writing, care packages etc.
It only takes a few minutes to write a letter, or grab some bug repellent / sun tan lotion (summer is coming)etc while you’re at the store next time. Our soldiers deserve everything we can, to help them win this war.
Ozz out—

Hmmm, someone else has been thinking along some similer lines as Richard Perle (via NewsMax): “I have watched the president from the beginning and my sense is that his instincts have been pretty good and his policy decisions – the ones that he himself has acted on – are pretty good. But he has an administration that not only does not implement his policies, they are often hostile to his policies. He has failed to gain control of his own administration.”
Personally I think its more than mere ignorance or boredom that gets some people to act the fools, its pure, unadulterated sedition as LGF noted: Daily Kos Kidz Support Terrorists

Yep, he sounds like a F***up to me. You guys all remember the news stories before 9-11? Lets recap, Lost luggage, Gary Condit and Sandra Levy, plus countless other brain-dead stories for the American couch potato. We are going down the same path again, I belive that the next hit will make 9-11 look like a fender bender on I95.
February 26th, 2007 at 7:00 PMIt appears the “surge” is working since the media is not reporting anything about it, hell they wont even report about the Helo pilot who recieved the Medal of Honor today! (FOX new did ).
Then it was reported today that a large number of Generals said they would quit if we attack Iran, notice they could not name a single general. another bull shit story by the media.

I have a television for watching movies. The rest of it, I’ll find on the ‘Net.

Mrs. M sez:
Instead of risking neural decomposition by subjecting yourself to ANYTHING BC may have to present, allow me to suggest Food Network, American Movie Classics, and Turner Classic Movies.
Other than that hippie bitch Rachael Ray, I find little to gripe about at Food Network, and my cooking skills and recipe list has profited greatly from watching. (Not that I was any slouch in the kitchen or on the grill to start with. My Momma saw the future of the American Female, and made sure I had the necessary domestic skills to survive…)
On AMC, you can usually find a good western or WWII movie, or something that was made when America was still America instead of Bizarro World.
Same for TCM, except without commercials. Yeah, I know that fuckwit Ted Turner owns it, but without commercials, how much money can he be making on it?? They can’t be selling that many books and guide subscriptions…
February 26th, 2007 at 11:34 PMUsing
I once was glued to the television day in and day out for Food Network (which like you LC MoMinuteMan I can’t stand Rachael Ray…she’s one of those that just begs for a few sharp brain dusters that would make her eyeballs protrude from her skull), and also HGTV, and other such good programing….
But I have found that I simply cannot bring myself to turn on that big box sitting on the other side of the livingroom gathering dust at an alarming rate. I break out in a cold sweat, then hives, and then the migraine begins, and that’s before I can pick up the remote.
Like LC Guido I have a 5 disc DVD changer that gets use from time to time. I enjoy my movies, but that’s as much as I can stand.
Unlike so many other people that can’t stand the thought of NOT having their televisions on, I prefer to be in tune with the reality of what is going on in the world, rather than have my perspective royally screwed by the Mediots, Oprah, American Idol, and other such vapid bullshit.

It’s not just America - the whole world has a lot of waking up to do.
Every infidel has a stake in this whether they like it or not, and if we don’t start banding together soon we’ll all be chewed up and swallowed one by one.
