I just got word from the sharp end of the spear about yet another instance in which the fine men and women of the Patriot Guard Riders ensured that a fallen hero’s funeral was respected properly, and the likes of Phred Phaggot Phelps and his inbred traveling clown circus were kept away from the mourners.

In December, a memorial service had been planned for one of our NCOs, SFC Meredith Howard. Ffffffelps and his ilk planned to be in attendance, and, as you can imagine, we had very poor intel on the event from our location in Afghanistan, finding out about it nearly too late.

I was able to locate the PGR webpage only two days before the service. They provided top cover for our comrade, with virtually no time to plan.

These are great people, and great Americans.

LTC Dennis Morehouse

Indeed they are, Sir, indeed they are.

As to your question regarding whether I could please mention the PGR and how to get a hold of them on this site: Absolutely, Sir!

Actually, I should have done so a long time ago, because those fine people are doing a great service, so here’s the link to their website, where you can find all manner of information about them as well as offer your support in any way you can think of.

In addition, their logo and hyperlink have been permanently added to the sidebar on the top right of this site for future reference.

And Sir: Thank you once again for all that you and your brothers and sisters in arms are doing on behalf of all of us.

We’re as proud of you and grateful as it’s humanly possible to be, and you’re in our thoughts and prayers every single day.

It’s terrible that this sort of nonsense is even neccessary.

You don’t find good men. They step forward.

As a proud PGR member, I’m doing what I can to honor the men and women that have made the ultimate sacrifice to help keep me and the rest of America safe.

If Phred Felpz decides to show his face at one of our events, I’ve got a “Rod of Smiting” that will get some good use.

There’s a video out there on the ‘net that shows Phred and his Pfat Phuckhaeds getting seriously pwned. It’s fun to watch and laugh as real Americans show these nuts whatfor.

You don’t have to be veteran or ride a hog. Politics, religion and the like don’t matter. All that’s required is a desire to show our fallen heroes the respect they deserve. The words “Never Again!” mean something to this crowd! It is everyone’s hope the family is comforted by the Guards presense at the services for their loved ones and I wonder if the families really know how honored the PGR members feel to be invited. They often wave as they drive away from the cemetary, through the flag line that will not break ranks until every member of the family has bid their final farewells and departed. Through their grief they grace the flagbearers with a smile and mouth the words thank you. Many will walk the line of the PGR and shake their hands and voice their thanks. I’ve seen some big burley combat vets get teary-eyed although it was with slightly watery vision this was witnessed.
    If you’ve a mind, I’d say join.

Proud to be a Patriot Guard Rider. Have yet to go on a ride mission, most notably from failures in the organization to get the word out to riders in a timely fashion, but I know my day to ride will come.

I tried to access the Patriot Guard Riders homepage but all I got was a message reading “service unavailable”.
