A Word of Caution
Posted by: Emperor Misha I in Deserving Death, Lefty America-Haters, Useless Swine2:12 PM
…to the despicable swine in the video below as well as anybody sympathizing with them:
You may think (although I highly doubt that you’re capable of such) that you’re cute and are just “speaking truth to power”, but I’d like to remind you that the only reason you can get away with that thoroughly vile and disgusting behavior is the sacrifice of soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines whose intestinal flora is more worthy of respect than you are, men and women you that you “thank” by burning them in effigy while bleating chants about how you hope they’ll all die.
You’re crossing a very important and quite lethal (for you) line there, and I think it is time to remind you that the First Amendment protects you from the GOVERNMENT, it does not protect you from ME.
No, this is not hyperbole.
Try any of that crap around me and I will beat you to bloody, shredded pulps of steaming red meat.
The First Amendment isn’t going to help you one little bit there, and no amount of prosecution in my general direction after the fact is going to pull your mutilated, mangled corpses out of the morgue.
You think I’m kidding?
I strongly advise you against putting it to the test, because you won’t like the outcome.
That’s a promise.

Is there any mistake, or does it sound like a bunch of apes playing with drums, and a master ape playing with a lighter? I’m slowly having more respect for the pisslamic apes than these, but the gradient is very slim and not going to get much more than an inch above the ground level of the Mariana trench in the pacific.

Maybe some people did evolve from apes after all.
BTW Sire, I think that the government may have a duty to protect these slimeballs from you. Could be wrong though (there’s always a first time for everything :smile1_ee:).

LC Beeblebrox, President of the Galaxy–bzzzzt, wrong answer. 25 yard penalty and loss of down.
That question oddly enough, has been decided, contrary to what many might think. The government (i.e. law enforcement) doesn’t have a legally defined duty to protect you. The ruling arose out of a civil rights case where the plaintiff brought suit on the basis that the police had a duty to respond to a reported crime in progress. IIRC- The plaintiff wasn’t satisfied with the response time of the local PD. The court ruled without equivocation the government has no constitutional mandate to respond.
I had to vomit after watching and listening to this. The hoofbeats to the east grow louder friends.

No, I’m often a firm believer is street justice. The cops I know as friends loathe these assholes, no one in the military I know has any use for them. Guess they would have to get their own guns, wouldn’t they? Should they turn them on us, self-haters that they are….well, let the good times roll. Let them stand before our enemies, makes it that much easier, such as semiautomatics, repeating rifles, pump shotguns make it that much easier.

Are these guys pathetic or what? They can’t even burn an effigy right.
And then there’s the girl near the end saying that soldiers are brainwashed, but that they (the ones who have not yet mastered fire) are not. Because “I’m sorry, violence begets violence,” she says as she watches an effigy burn in the public streets of Portland, Oregon.
Ya think? Aren’t you glad that you live in a country where burning a soldiers’ effigy and the national flag doesn’t get you snatched, tortured, shredded, and your family billed for the expense?
Or … maybe not.

Could someone explain to me just what the hell is happening to this country? Are the people out there on the streets so rudderless…so without principles or any morals that they can’t see how utterly wrong actions like this are? If I wasn’t so outraged at them committing this blasphemy against our troops, I’d have genuine pity for them at their lack of purpose in their pathetic worthless lives.
I’m tempted to start carrying a squirt gun full of lighter fluid with me to the next protest. If I see any flags or effigies of soldiers about to be torched, I’ll move in real close and give the guy with the match a few of squirts on the head and face. It’s about time that these filthy bastards started paying a price for their sedition.

Those of us who are old enough can remember the treatment that those G. I.’s who were returning from ‘Nam got. They were spat upon, called “baby killers.” Not all that different from what’s happening today.
This country has been in a moral decline for decades, and it seems to me it started in the 60’s, when we DEMANDED that God leave this country, removed prayer from schools, and made abortion legal. We’ve been in a downward spiral ever since.
2 Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
I hope it’s not too late.

That’s the crux of this, they’re spoiled brats that have Mom and Dad paying all their expenses, so they can go out and do this shit.
They haven’t had a job, outside of maybe at Burger King to pay for dates and drugs, and think they know everything that is wrong with the world.
I was them too at one time. The difference is, I had my opinions, but I didn’t destroy property or insult the beliefs of other people to make my point…and over the years, I found out I was really naive back then.
My only fear is that when these kids do grow up, even if they move as far, politically, to the right as I have over my life, they would still be voting for Dean.

March 25th, 2007 at 10:25 AMUsing
It started a long, long time before that, my friends. We could pretty much trace it back to the pseudo-philosophy of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, who were just drawing on the ideas of the Continental Rationalists such as Erasmus and Rousseau as well as the British Empiricists like Locke. Only Marx and his descendants removed the Supreme Being from the equation. Once that was, noodnicks, albeit clever noodnicks like Derida, Foucault, and all of today’s Post Modern shills. We Westerners … Americans specifically, in our eagerness to be fair, balanced, egalitarian, progressive, moral and ethical, capitulated to the Godless Ones® thinking that maybe they were somehow correct in their view that religious differences had produced too much antagonism. Now we see that we allowed the pendulum to swing way to the side of secular humanism and we see that the other extreme — embodied in Islamofascism — is also unacceptable. Things will improve, although it will be a messy and maybe bloody readjustment. Just remember:
“By their acts you shall know them.”
People with superior morals, ethics and virtues emanating from faith in a Creator will recover this territory.
Those who would invent a religion without God are like those who would gather fruit without trees, have children without parents. You cannot have effects without causes; only the I AM is causeless. The fact of religious experience implies God, and such a God of personal experience must be a personal Deity. You cannot pray to a chemical formula, supplicate a mathematical equation, worship a hypothesis, confide in a postulate, commune with a process, serve an abstraction, or hold loving fellowship with a law.
True, many apparently religious traits can grow out of nonreligious roots. Man can, intellectually, deny God and yet be morally good, loyal, filial, honest, and even idealistic. Man may graft many purely humanistic branches onto his basic spiritual nature and thus apparently prove his contentions in behalf of a godless religion, but such an experience is devoid of survival values, God-knowingness and God-ascension. In such a mortal experience only social fruits are forthcoming, not spiritual. The graft determines the nature of the fruit, notwithstanding that the living sustenance is drawn from the roots of original divine endowment of both mind and spirit.

This moral decline cannot be pointed out too often. Strangley, as much as I despise the Iranians, they at least have done one sensible thing in not only bringing their God back into society, but back into the government where it belongs. We would be a much better place if we had our religious leaders overseeing our government.
Please don’t take this as support of Iran - there’s is a crazy releigion with wierd ideas.
March 25th, 2007 at 10:43 AMUsing
Wrong. Absolutely not, jaMo. We are not, never were, and shall never be a theocracy. It is one thing to have a government of religious, God-fearing leaders, and quite another to have a government of priests. Religion’s only place in government is that it guide the morals and wisdom of our lawmakers, not be the law itself.
March 25th, 2007 at 10:56 AMOur Founders were deeply religious men and women, but they were wise enough to know that religion and government do not a democracy make. What you are advocating or at least defending is anathema to our Constitution and our way of life.
Please reconsider this, or clarify in that I may have misread you.
Using
Ouch. I intensely disagree.
Which religious leaders? Yours? Mine? How about the High Priestesses of the Wiccans? Buudhist monks? Or how about the imams? After all, they already have a theocracy, and see how much good it does them.
As a Christian minister, I can say without any doubt that the LAST thing we need is a theocracy. Anathema, indeed.

No, Mindy, they don’t. They just get off on CALLING them that, another piece of evidence that the leftist masked freaks are a bunch of pathetic losers.
If they truly believed that our troops were mindless, sadistic killing machines, they wouldn’t be out in the streets burning them in effigy. They’d be cowering under their beds, snot streaming down their faces and their pants filling up with their own shit.
It is precisely because they KNOW that our troops are nothing of the kind that they dare do what they do in the first place.
Which only makes it even more despicable.

As embarrasing as it is to admit this today, I used to flirt with these kinds of elements in my younger years, and I can tell you that nine out of ten of these maroons wouldn’t know which end of Karl Marx to feed and which to diaper. Most of these kids are,as I was, bored, impressionable delayed adolescents, not political operatives. Oh, sure, they know all the slogans, and they listen to all the right music, but really they’re just looking for three things: attention, something to do, and getting laid.
Need proof? Look at the little girl in the front (white top, jeans,) filming the whole thing. I knew (in every sense of the word) a hundred like her in my day. Bored, cute, and a just a little bit spoiled, she’s been intellectually sodomized by her PoliSci 101 TA’s marxism (plus he’s super cute!) and she’s looking to “make a difference” in the “real world” after growing up in some bland surburban desert. By participating in “an act of civil disobedience for social justice” she differentiates herself from the tanned, blonde sorority sister goddesses she secretly envies, boosting her weak self-esteem and letting mommy and daddy know that I’m Not Your Little Girl Anymore (but please keep making the car payments). She also adds vital “street cred” to her dating profile, enabling her to dump the art-school bisexuals she’s been dating (note the shivering human chihuahua standing next to her) and get a slice of the gorgeous, long-haired Artiste types that inhabit the upper-level sociology and english classes. Unfortunately, after feasting on her virgin USDA prime suburban mall-quality booty, they’ll get her pregnant and dump her pre-graduation, but she doesn’t know that. By her senior year, she’ll have had two (possibly three) abortions, an upside-down car note, and a useless BA in psychology. Later, she’ll go back home to mom and dad, then marry a guy she met at Stuckey’s while getting gas. He owns his own used car lot.
Anyway, I wouldn’t pay too much attention to these “revolutionaries”. That’s what they want. Just let them have their tantrum and keep them from hurting people or property and eventually the Gods of the copybook headings will limp up to explain the facts of life to them in terms they can’t deny. That’s what happened to me. Power to da People! Right On!

A man without God is no better than an animal. That being said, I hope to never see the country I love turn into a theocracy, I’m convinced that that way lies the destruction of both government and religion.

Well not in my humble opinion. If you could point out a specific area that the dictate of a specific sect of religion should overrule Constitutional law let me know. Look at Germany with the divorce case, does that represent what the people think the law means, or does the law change next time because you aren’t of arab descent? Or now we apply “Christian” law?
Their religion is crazy and weird, and ours would be if we let religion rule over our lives instead of maintaining the guidelines that we should live by.
Misha’s seems to be in a bad mood (he normally doesn’t dismiss people this quickly), but I won’t label you as a troll at this time, but you have to think about this a bit.

Human nature being what it is, I would just as soon keep religion and government in different corners. To influence our personal decisions, yes, by all means…but to render legal decisions, no. We have a Constitution for that.
March 25th, 2007 at 1:18 PMUsing
OH HELL, NO! Can you say Neahmiah Scudder?
March 25th, 2007 at 1:43 PMUsing
Thanks Gang of One & Nixell.
I don’t mind if our leaders have their religious beliefs. They can’t make me share them, but it’s always up to the individual. Even if I would prefer someone whose decisions are based in ice-cold rationality, while being endowed with empathy for other human beings. (The two aren’t exclusive. Don’t believe the hype.)
The only thing I do require is that the Constitution be that leader’s bible.
If someone were to overtly establish a government beholden to religion (any religion) that directly contravenes the Constitution, I would be obliged to act according to my Oath.
I do mind when Mitt Romney essentially calls for a religious test, in violation of Article 6 and the 1st Amendment, though it doesn’t rise to the level of actionable.

Crunchie,
Beeblebrox (I sometimes like to talk of myself in the third person, kind of like Bob Dole) has was elected to President of the Universe a while back. Now, in the spirit of full disclosure, this is a role that involves no power whatsoever, and merely requires the incumbent to attract attention so no one wonders who’s really in charge, which is a role I, Zaphod am perfectly suited for.
Does that clear it up?

Well I’m glad to know that I wasn’t having a brain fart when I first read this and said “What the..????”
No…that is NOT what our founding fathers had in mind when they set down the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. They acknowledged G-d’s guiding presence and his power, but they knew that government and religion do not mix. They knew that those in Government service were prone to attempt to become godheads themselves. By putting the power of choice in the hands of the people, the power of the government was tempered by only what the people allowed it to have.
March 25th, 2007 at 4:17 PMIt is up to the people to live such lives that the leaders they elected would govern to protect the peoples right to freedoms that are G-d Given, and not government given.

By this time my smile would have cracked my face open…”Come on in Sailor, have a seat and the beverage of your choice.”
He told me he was reporting to San Diego, stationed on the Reagan.
“A good ship named for a great man.” Was all I could say. Well, “I was on the “E”, you know.”

As for President of the Galaxy, I got that title via a vote of the people. Remember, supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony. You can’t expect to yield supreme executive power just because some moistened bink threw a sword at you. I EARNED that position (but I am foregoing it for now for a much more important and flamboyant title).
But don’t let my career choices stop you from pursuing your avian management position. :cheese1_ee:

Beeblebrox etc etc etc sez:
Don’t worry about that, I’ll just have to kick my application upstairs, and if I get turned down???
the green chick referenced in post #70 has two sisters and they think I’m pretty hot….they’ll do ANYTHING for me. I may have to send ‘em over to management’s office :king_tb:

That’s “LC Beeblebrox etc etc etc” to you my friend :happy_tb:
As for management’s interest in large green women, I’ll leave that to others to fantasize about. Not my thing.

Damn straight, Misha.
March 25th, 2007 at 9:44 PMIn fact, the reason that I am to the right of things politically not only stems from my upbringing and deep knowledge of history, economics, and the way the world works (something that many leftists, esp. those who are of my age, lack), but the fact that many on the left are completely bugfuck insane. My high school had a number of neo-Marxists much like the ones in the video who must have lived in an alternate universe for much of their lives. It was this experience that caused me to reject leftist thought as complete bullshit.

I rejected it because it has never worked anytime it has been put into action. The brighter lefties like Mrs. Bill Clinton know that leftist ideology has not worked in the past but she was once heard saying (paraphrasing here) “that’s only because the right people weren’t in charge.”

I have a policy of not clicking comment links. Seems like I have the right idea.
On another topic, is there a setting to label Misha Watch as “Trollbacks”?

Is that an OFFICIAL policy or more of a guideline? I only ask because I sometimes link to spectacularly meaningful information in the course of a post.

I’d suggest next time you see some idiots trying to burn a flag, or an effigy of an American, help them out by providing a few squirts of lighter fluid. If your aim is a little off - well, it’s the thought that counts, right?
“In His Majesty’s Empire, Flag burns YOU!!” :devil_tb:
