East Timor.

We fought to make it free. We shed blood and worked for years to give those people a fighting chance. Thousands of Australians risked their lives every day to give the people of Dili a new home, a better place to live.

The rat bastard bombers of Kuta murdered us because we were there, two hundred souls lie sleeping, in memory bright.

Dili.

We built hospitals, schools,we built water systems, we cared for their children as if they were our own…we walked amongst the bodies of those whose only crime was to want independence from the brutal Indonesian government and their “insurgents”..and we swore we would make it right.

We went home when the job was done. We were proud of ourselves. We helped bring an independent nation into the sunlight.

And the UN moved in.

TEENAGE Timorese prostitutes gather just before dusk opposite a hotel on Dili’s waterfront where drivers in United Nations vehicles can be seen picking them up and driving away.

Weep for the children, weep for the future that they could have had, if these inhuman scum had never set foot in their country.

For the love of God , haven’t these people suffered enough????

Some of the 2000 UN police and civilian staff from more than 40 countries are openly violating what the UN promised would be a “zero tolerance” policy towards sexual abuse and misconduct in the deeply religious country, sources say.

Expatriates say a dozen brothels have recently opened in Dili, and that vehicles with UN markings can be seen parked outside them most nights.

When the UN Security Council established UNMIT in August, Sukehiro Hasegawa, then the top UN official in Dili, promised a crackdown on the behaviour of personnel serving in the mission, which includes 1600 police and 500 civilian personnel.

Yes,well we know just what those “promises ” were worth, about the same as a hundred of those meaningless and futile “resolutions” on Darfur, not to mention the venom thrown at Israel and the United States every single day.

The UN headquarters in New York had just received an internal report exposing a culture that covered up perverted and outrageous behaviour by UN staff in East Timor over years.

Like this?

And this?

AND THIS?????

How many more fucking reports will it take for the “esteemed” and “humanitarian” Secretary General to start cleaning the scum off his own floor before he has the fucking unmitigated GALL to open that yap of his about the “poor mistreated souls” at Gitmo??

030107sudan03.jpg

Look into this child’s eyes, you incompetent, negligent son of a bitch. Chances are he is already dead. him and millions more..whilst you sup on caviar and champagne

The report said peacekeepers had left behind at least 20 babies they had fathered to poverty-stricken Timorese women who were now “stigmatised” and in some cases “ostracised” by their communities. It also listed cases of sexual abuse of children.

And for each and every one of these “peacekeepers”, there is a special place in Hell, waiting, with their names on the door.

Since 1999, when UN personnel first arrived in East Timor, not one employee has been charged with a serious offence.

The UN will do what it has always done, what it always will do….until we kick their sorry asses out and tell them to take their stinking, corrupt paedophilic “peacekeepers” with them.

It will do……NOTHING

“Peacekeepers”

Rope.

Lots of trees.

MAJOR assembly required.

Sadly, it seems that there is nothing can be done so well, that the UN can’t undo it.

It stems from a lack of accountability - if this were US or Australian personnel, they would answer to ‘world opinion’ (EU countries) and the UN - Who does the UN have to answer too?

And how do we fix that?

“Who does the UN have to answer to? And how do we fix that?”

They have, ultimately, to answer to the civilized nations of the world that pay their bills, starting with the United States. And the way to “fix that” is to cut them off from their allowance until they either shape up or ship out. Preferably the latter; I’m not sure the UN can be salvaged at this point.

Yes, I’m aware that would require most of the leaders of the Western world to grow a pair. Nevertheless, reform - or abolishment, if necessary - of the UN damned well ought to be an issue in the upcoming Presidential elections.

Sickening. If the UN were merely an irrelevant waste of money that would be one thing, but to cause the sort of damage they do so often is atrocious. Shame on them. It sad how the power of inertia has kept the UN together and functioning long after it has ever actually benefited the world.

So is this waits for Iraq? When our troops leave, the UN forces take over so they can rape and pillage? It galls me that our freedom fighters are called criminals and that we are fighting an “illegal war” or we are cruel and inhumane to the insurgents. PLEASE! A few of our soldiers at Abu Graib made some terrorist killers stand naked and wear women’s panties on their heads. SO FREAKING WHAT! That’s “inhumane?????” The “humane” UN forces commit acts of child sexual abuse then also rape the local women in one third world country after another and go unscathed. No accountability, no recourse, no remorse. AND-we NEVER hear about it on World News Tonight or the rest of the drive by media. We only hear our boys getting berated.

Certain things in this world make me livid with rage. When I hear about them, I want to sieze hold of the scum responsible and pummel them until my fists shatter and their bodies are hamburger. Such things make me want to scream, fight. Breathe fire, spit acid.

And then there are those deeds — like the UN virii who violate third-world (and below) children — that evoke no anger, no rage, no fire. Just a Zen-like calm and the powerful urge to collect my power tools.

The UN isn’t worth the land it’s contaminating. Plow it under and salt the ground. And may God have mercy on our souls for not rising as one and slaying those complicit.

There are few greater examples of the moral corruption of this stain on society than what the UN peacekeepers get up to.

There have been some good UN peacekeeping forces. They were disciplined, had a mission and workable ROE.

But in the majority, the ’soldiers’ used for these missions are second rate, from second rate powers, who need the money. Dili sounds bad, but I’ve seen worse from the blue hats.

The ‘peace keeping’ missions that work are usually run independently of the UN. (Purely for example) I know you guys aren’t big fans of the Frogs (lol… who is, really) but they’ve done some good work in a fairly robust sort of way in Africa. I can’t see a Legion Etranger nutter taking orders from some pencil neck in a blue cap. Those guys are no gentlemen, and no doubt have a few black deeds to their name down there… but on balance, they’ve worked.

I have absolutely nothing but the highest respect for the Legion. They’re outstanding soldiers and a credit to their profession (not to mention an unholy terror to whomever happens to be unfortunate enough to be their enemy).

They’re also not frogs, which is where the “Etrangere” comes from. One thing you can say to the credit of the fwench is that they’ve realized that in order to get a job done, they need to get foreigners to do it for them.

I hope I didn’t come across as knocking the Legion as soldiers. They’re very good indeed. They are well trained, very disciplined in the field and with first rate, tough, experienced NCO’s.

I’ve always thought that the idea of the Legion is very good. Casualties to the Legion are seldom reported - as far as the French public are concerned, they are ‘foreigners’. If it were French lads dying, they’d do what the French always do when they’re upset - burn some cars. The Legion allows the French government to, when it suits them, use military force without worrying too much about domestic politics.

They would in my opinion be invaluable in Afghanistan, if the actual French brass could be convinced to stay at home.
