No, really. The article really does say that and, even more cosmically cluefucked, the Iowa muslims actually are claiming it. (Via LC & IB Robert Spencer).

Iowa Muslims are bracing themselves, fearful that allegations of a plot by six Muslim men to attack Fort Dix, N.J., will spawn new incidents of anti-Islamic harassment and bias.

So far, the grand total of “backlash incidents” of this “alleged” [somebody is taking liberties with the English language here, and it isn’t us — E.M.] terrorist plot remains at a steady zero, but the fear and whining sure is spreading like a wildfire, isn’t it? Provided that wildfires were known for moving 1,115 miles in a few days, that is.

“Everybody was talking about” the FBI arrests of the men, said Ibrahim Dremali, imam of the Des Moines Islamic Center.

Yeah. It was on the news and everything!

“Some are afraid backlash may be coming. People are becoming cautious again. I’ve told them they have to be careful.”

Still not quite clear what it is that all of those fearful muslims have to be careful about, because it can’t be the rest of us. We’re too busy being careful not to get blown up by domestic terrorists like the Ft. Dix Six to waste time giving muslims the dirty eye.

That sentiment comes on the heels of a nationwide survey by the Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations, which counted 1,972 incidents of anti-Muslim bias in 2005, up from 1,522 in 2004. The 2005 figure, from the group’s most recent tally, represents the largest number reported to the council, also known as CAIR, in its 12-year history.

For some background on the credibility of CAIR’s claims, look here.

Then again, considering that CAIR is a known terrorist front organization, the question we really need to ask ourselves is why a reputable (at least in their own eyes, we presume) newspaper would bother quoting a word they have to say.

The six New Jersey men, identified as “Islamic radicals” by the U.S. attorney for the District of New Jersey, Christopher Christie, were arrested Monday as two attempted to buy guns.

Best not to mention that the reason they were identified as Islamic radicals (nice use of sneer quotes, Des Moines Register. With practice, you’ll become every bit as credible as the Associated (with Terrorists) Press.) was their tendency to shout “Allahu Akbar” incessantly while training to kill infidels, swearing allegiance to Osama bin Laden and claiming in interviews that they were going to commit their acts of terrorism “in the name of Allah.”

Given that amount of evidence (and more), calling them Islamic radicals is also known as “describing the suspect.”

Authorities believe the men were “inspired” by international terrorist groups, although not directly linked to a specific organization.

Those crazy “Authorities.” Where would they get a wacky belief like that?

Members of the Muslim Community Center in Des Moines are praying that the general public will understand that they are as outraged as anyone else.

They should be praying, instead, for the courage to actually prove that they are because, quite frankly, after more than 5 and a half years of war and 8,275 terrorist attacks by muslims, some of us are beginning to wonder.

“If we learned of any person trying to do something like this, we would turn them over to authorities,” said Mohamad Khan, imam for the Muslim Community Center. “(As American Muslims) we hope Iowans don’t lump us all together in the same category.”

Who’s lumping here? Some of us are just wondering why we haven’t yet heard a peep from a single one of your mainstream denominations even resembling a denunciation of terrorism coupled with a clear message that terrorism is against islam and that the ones “hijacking” your “peaceful” religion are nothing but heretics destined for Hell or a reasonable facsimile thereof.

Every single time anybody starts wondering about that, we get that cookie cutter jeremiad that we quoted verbatim in the above, so how come that after almost 6 years, we’ve yet to hear the head of a single one of your denominations repeat it in public?

Huh?

Still waiting…

Time’s running out, Mohamad…

Dremali of the Des Moines Islamic Center has warned his congregation about being cautious when flying.

Ever since CAIR’s blockbuster, “Imams on a Plane”, quite a few of us have been cautious about flying, so we know the feeling.

Recently, a group of imams were pulled off their US Airways flight in Minneapolis after passengers accused them of acting suspiciously. Dremali, who has unsuccessfully tried to get his name off the Transportation Security Administration alert list, has given up flying except in emergencies.

Poor, oppressed musselman. The rest of us are giving up flying because of the TSA’s idiotic guidelines outlawing common sense, not to mention the suspicious behavior of “peaceful” muslims doing dry runs in the skies, so we’re a bit too busy feeling sorry for ourselves to bother dragging out the violin in your honor yet.

In a statement, CAIR praised the FBI’s foiling of the alleged plot, but also urged Muslims to report to police any incidents of harassment or vandalism against them.

Why bother? CAIR is going to make them up out of whole cloth anyway.

Ames Muslims said a growing feeling of skepticism can be found in their congregation because a number of federal anti-terror cases in the past have proved to be overblown, according to Syed Azam, president of the Darul Arqum Islamic Center.

The federal government’s policy of acting early and aggressively in cases of suspected terrorist plots has resulted in a few prosecutions that failed to live up to prosecutors’ initial assessments.

The federal government’s policy of acting early and aggressively, even if it means that they’ll have to eat humble pie later, is also what has kept us from having to bury another 3,000 innocents since 9/11, so shut the fuck up and deal with it, asshole. Or leave. The borders are still open.

Khan said: “Every time there is something political going on, when the administration is going downhill, these things seem to crop up. After Sept. 11, Muslims felt guilty. I think we’ve got over that now and we’re ready to stand up for our rights.

“They’re making it up to shore up their poll numbers!”

Damn, does this assclown for allah have a diary on The Daily Kotz, because we’re willing to swear that we’ve read those exact same words over there. About three or seven thousand times.

“We weren’t responsible for Sept. 11, and we’re not responsible for the latest incident. If those people are guilty, lock them up and let them pay the consequences. But all Muslims should not be targeted.”

And guess what? You’re right. You’re not responsible, and you certainly shouldn’t be targeted for something you didn’t do. I couldn’t agree more.

But you aren’t being targeted, you simpering shitweasel, so spare us the sanctimonious, self-serving shiite.

Number of terrorist attacks committed by muslims since 9/11 : 8,275

And, in that same period, the only serious backlash consisted on a group of bigoted, subhuman, racist scumbuckets gunning down a poor Sikh because he wore a turban. The perps were subsequently sentenced to death and life without parole, which was still far too lenient in our modest opinion.

Yet here we are, supposed to be worried and wringing our hands about you?

Are you the most egocentric, narcissistic asshats in the history of mankind, or are you just plain dumb?

Shut the fuck up, already, because it’s beginning to get more than a little bit old.

You know, my first response to hearing a muslim on TV talking about understanding is, “Ah crap. What’d they blow up this time”. It like Lileks (Or possibly Whittle) wrote a while back, “I keep expecting to see a headline reading: “Muslim Leaders Call For Calm & Understanding After Tomorrow’s Terrorist Attack”.

There may yet come a time when a sufficient number of Americans understand the con job that’s been laid on us all. But it had better not wait too much longer; no Western nation with a Muslim fraction of 5% or greater has managed to withstand the exertions of the followers of this pseudo-religion to place themselves above the law, and above all other men.

We must bar the door while there’s still a chance to do so.

Got some news for ya, crapweasel. If people onboard the flight were concerned enough to report, that defines acting suspiciously. It really is in the mind of the beholder. Otherwise, for such a bunch of pussies, they do seem to reproduce themselves well.

    innocent muslims

No such person exists. To be a Muslim, one must believe and accept the teachings of the Koran. The Koran calls for global jihad and calls for a world ruled by the only religion which is allowed to exist under the new theocracy - Islam. Either a Muslim believes and accepts this, and is part of the global jihad movement, or they do not believe and accept this and are not only not a Muslim, but are instead an apostate. Apostasy against Islam has only one punishment, death.

9/11 affected me greatly. I felt like I was in a waking dream. I used to have Muslim friends. On 9/12 I called all of them and asked them to explain 9/11 to me. What could possibly have motivated Muslims to do something like this? Every one of my former friends showed sympathy with the motivations of the 9/11 Muslim murderers. Not one of my former Muslim friends expressed horror at the attack, expressed any kind of empathy for the victims or in any way denounced the actions of the 9/11 Muslim murderers. They made vague statements about feeling “bad” but then defended the 9/11 Muslim murderers, usually by going on a tirade about Israel. Needless to say I no longer have any Muslim friends.

The Muslims claim that “moderate” Muslims are the overwhelming majority and that the terrorist Muslim gangs are an aberration and represent a small fraction of Muslims. Yet, the “moderate” Muslims never denounce the actions of the Muslim terror gangs, never show any sympathy with their victims or intended victims, never express outrage at the horrific crimes committed in their name. They do nothing to distance themselves from the Muslim terror gangs except make very vague statements when pressed on the issue, but they never come forward and make public statements.

It amazes me that there aren’t any real acts of retribution against the Muslims in this country. Can you imagine what would happen if any Muslim country had a large Christian minority and a Christian group was caught training to launch a terrorist attack in that country? You don’t have to imagine, you know what would happen. These lunatics riot and kill each other over a Koran being dropped on the ground. They would go completely beserk in that situation. The death toll would be in the thousands.

This is just so sick… When I had my website about leaving Islam I got so many death threats that I actually had a folder just for them. Some of them were actually funny, like the one that was going to leave my head on the steps of my church, but most of them were pretty scary. I realize that most idiots on the internet that are sending out death threats are adolescents without any sense or adult supervision but one of them actually found my home address and phone number and really scared me. I dismantled the website but am thinking about reinstating it since fear is the weapon that Muslims use to keep us slaves and dhimmis.

I agree with the first idea…but that second idea, well…
The problem is that, in my humble, the failure of the majority of muslims to speak out against terrorism and jihad identifies those muslims as collaborators. Taquiyya permits muslims to lie about their thoughts to infidels (like us) until the proper time…then the infidels are to be destroyed. That means that almost ANY muslim could be a sleeper.

I hate to sound paranoid, but these people are trying to kill us and dominate the world. You are either against them or for them. My advice: If you are against them, speak up. Now.

I remember the joking after some sort of media coverage about how they used the pat line of “we are a religion of peace”. Very simple. I do not care what G(g)od/s/ess/es you wish to worship, what language you speak in your own compound, your life in general, at all. But you keep your stuff to your self. If you ARE in fact a “peaceful” muslim, speak out. If you do NOT agree with this jihad shit, speak out. Silence is implied agreement in this case. This nation is at war with persons claiming YOUR variant of god as their cause. If you don’t agree with them, join us. Speak out. Fight. If you are not with us, and you do NOT speak out against those who would claim your religion a cause to war against us, you’re one of them not one of us. We don’t have time to consider individual cases. It is at the point of join us or die.

Hell, I have one student who lies for no other purpose than to try and get me to skew her grades upward, never mind for Islam. She still hasn’t picked up on the idea that I won’t do it, but it’s funny to watch her try. After all, I’m just an infidel: I must lie, cheat, and steal all the time.

Ah. Here’s the deal. It is so completely authorised in their “holy” book :lol_wp: to lie to an infidel for their advantage. It’s not her trying to get one over for any other reason than you don’t deserve truth, you’re an infidel. Fuck them. Kill them all, let allah sort them out.

    Japanese internment camps.

If backlash was going to happen, wouldn’t the same have been instituted for Muslims after 9-11?

(BTW, It was WRONG to imprison American citizens of Japanese descent during WWII, just in case you’re thinking I approve.)
