Ho Chi McCain Drops F-Bomb in Senate

During a meeting Thursday on immigration legislation, McCain and Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) got into a shouting match when Cornyn started voicing concerns about the number of judicial appeals that illegal immigrants could receive, according to multiple sources — both Democrats and Republicans — who heard firsthand accounts of the exchange from lawmakers who were in the room.At a bipartisan gathering in an ornate meeting room just off the Senate floor, McCain complained that Cornyn was raising petty objections to a compromise plan being worked out between Senate Republicans and Democrats and the White House. He used a curse word associated with chickens and accused Cornyn of raising the issue just to torpedo a deal.
Things got really heated when Cornyn accused McCain of being too busy campaigning for president to take part in the negotiations, which have gone on for months behind closed doors. “Wait a second here,” Cornyn said to McCain. “I’ve been sitting in here for all of these negotiations and you just parachute in here on the last day. You’re out of line.”
McCain, a former Navy pilot, then used language more accustomed to sailors (not to mention the current vice president, who made news a few years back after a verbal encounter with Sen. Patrick Leahy of Vermont).
“[Expletive] you! I know more about this than anyone else in the room,” shouted McCain at Cornyn. McCain helped craft a bill in 2006 that passed the Senate but couldn’t be compromised with a House bill that was much tougher on illegal immigrants.
And now, after helping to shred the 1st Amendment, your efforts to destroy this country are finally about to bear fruit and that peasant dares gainsay the Almighty McVain? No wonder you got angry.

Recent behaviors on McCain’s part would explain some of his past behaviors, based on my personal experiences with him. I had long ago determined I would never vote for the man. For I despise traitors more than a declared enemy. McCain Feingold was bad enough……. Thank God Thompson may enter the fray……otherwise I might be tempted to sit home election day and cry.

Look, I live here on the border and love some aspects of the Mexican Culture…but I’ll assure you, I don’t want to see the Mexican Culture subsume the American culture. American capitalism and American Govt (the conservative idea of it anyway) are what makes this country great….I’m all for anybody with a hispanic surname being AN American! The Mexican Culture is not conducive to prosperity as we know it in America,(just look at Mexico! A country rich in resources) it’s another long theme that I don’t have space to expound upon…but I see the problems of Mexican Culture here in this small border town on the US side …and If you’ve ever heard the term “Rio Linda”, then you might have the start of an idea of how Mexican culture destroys the American idea of prosperity (and it has to do with the pervasiveness of corruption in Mexico…among other things inherent in Mexican culture)
The elephant in the room on this discussion is the complicity of the Mexican Govt in the “immigration” problem. ….and drug problem….and organized crime problem…and…The Us Govt is afraid to destabalize Mexico by cutting off the huge revenues they recieve from the aforementioned (PS Mexico is a communist/socialist country ruled by a small a # of “big families…i.e. an oligarchs who are vested in keeping the “serf/lord” system that IS Mexico

Well, at least SOME folks have a good head on their shoulders! It looks like Sen. John Cornyn doesn’t want anything to do with the President’s deal to grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens, and neither does Sen. Jim DeMint.
Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC): “This rewards people who broke the law with permanent legal status, and puts them ahead of millions of law-abiding immigrants waiting to come to America” (mult., 5/17).
And on the U.S. House side:
Rep. James Sensenbrenner (R-WI): “I think the bill stinks” (”Evening News,” CBS, 5/17).
Rep. Tom Tancredo (R-CO): “Here’s the bottom line … that, if you are in this country illegally today, this moment, you will be able to stay under this bill” (”PZN,” CNN, 5/17).
Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA), asked if the new immigration bill will stop illegal immigration: “I don’t think it will, because the bill cuts my fence in half. … You have to put that fence in place.” (”Hardball,” MSNBC, 5/17).

To pass the U.S. Senate, bills must also pass a cloture vote to close debate and force a vote: 60 Senators must vote to end the discussion and debate, calling for all 100 Senators to vote on passage. That’s exactly what we want! If the full Senate never votes on illegal alien amnesty, it can’t pass.
