While the Weeniedick Administration continues to try passing off 7 month sentences as being “tough on terrorism”, here’s a clip from back when we knew how to deal with war criminals. (Via LC & IB Bill Quick).

Imagine the howling and screeching from “compassionate conservatives” if we were to actually enforce the laws of land warfare once again.

There’s a common assumption which has permeated our society throughout the ’80s and ’90s about “modern” war, “Nintendo” war, “winning the hearts and minds,” “precision” war, and other euphemisms for trying to wage war in a non-brutal, non-absolute way, using minimum deadly force in the manner of a police officer.

It cannot be done. If we do not have the conviction to kill as many people as we have to, we should not be at war.

In this, at least, the true liberals (unlike some moderates, and “compassionate” conservatives) are honest. They don’t believe the safety of Americans is worth killing belligerent Iraqis or Afghanis over, even knowing that some of their own compatriots will be killed in the Iraqis’ stead. They don’t believe that a collateral death is morally acceptable, even in these nations have failed to reform themselves and will live forever in slavery without military aid.

If you enjoyed…Ok, not enjoyed, but appreciated…His Majesty’s link, I highly recommend the Band of Brothers series on DVD. It’s refreshing to remember a time when being at war with the United States meant that you were treated like, you know, an enemy of the United States.

When I see the innocents slaughtered by these pigs lacking the guts to take on soldiers…..those poor souls in London, New York and other locales, their lives brutally ended. Why not try attacking some British commandos or American Marines? We all know why.

As for the Nazis in that video - good riddance. I saw a documentary on the neo-nazis in Kentucky/Alabama. If ever there was a purpose to use daisy-cutters, it’s on their compounds. Free speech aside: anyone flying the nazi flag like that needs to be treated to the same punishment as their ilk in that video.
I wonder if it will be necessity, or time, or a miraculous surge in common sense - that will secure our freedom and future as a nation. I don’t see how the left wing cannot see how weak we’re becoming as we continue to question every move in our fight against islam.

Why not try attacking some British commandos or American Marines? We all know why.

In an effort to try not to sound like an awe-stricken child, I have to say, there is scarcely anything scarier than a pissed-off, battle-hardened US Marine coming your way.
It’s one thing to train them so well, but it’s quite another thing to have them in the heat of battle for so long, as the real thing makes a soldier a soldier, despite the training.
While I would not want to have them have to see any more blood and want them to come home to well-deserved heroes’ welcomes - after Iraq, there is going to be a big population of super-ready Marines in the US Forces. Woe to any army that has to face them on the ground, be it Chinese, iranian or whatever.
On a side note, some of our Canadian Forces fellas are doing well in the Taliban slaughter. Did you guys know about the Canadian sniper record? I think it was about 4 years ago in Afghanistan, a Canadian soldier using a Canadian rifle and US rounds took out a Taliban at something like 1600 meters. I may be a bit wrong in the distance, but I remember it being a record for sniping kills. The first shot took a bag out of the guy’s hand, the second shot killed him. I should google it for more info.

Sorry for all the posts: Here it is.

    2001-2002

After the attacks on September 11, 2001, the Canadian Forces immediately deployed its elite Special Operations unit Joint Task Force Two. It was used in a vital role in calling airstrikes and directly confronting al-Qaeda and Taliban positions. Once the regular forces were on the ground in January-February 2002 the Canadians were used supporting the war effort until Operation Anaconda began. During the operation, a Canadian sniper team broke, and re-broke, the kill record for a long distance sniper kill set in the Vietnam War by an American Marine. Operation Anaconda was also the first time since the Korean War that Canadian soldiers relieved American soldiers in a combat operation.

A record of 35 years standing, for the longest combat kill by a sniper,[8] was broken during Operation Anaconda by a Canadian sniper from Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (PPCLI), using MacMillan long-range TAC-50 .50-calibre rifles. The record was set by Corporal Rob Furlong at a confirmed distance of 2,430 metres (1.51 miles). The target was a Taliban fighter armed with an RPK machine gun.

A five-man Canadian sniper team recording the new distance record and more than 20 kills were given Bronze Stars from the U.S military for their actions in the operation. Team members were MCpl Graham Ragsdale (Team Commander), MCpl Tim McMeekin, MCpl Arron Perry, Cpl Dennis Eason, and Cpl Rob Furlong.

You don’t have to go back to WWII; back in the Vietnam War our allies knew what to do with war criminals captured either committing atrocities or fighting out of uniform. The most infamous photo to come out of that war, the one of Saigon Police Chief Loan summarily executing a VC captured during the Tet Offensive, when there were thousands of VC in civilian clothes engaging in attacks all over the city, has been misconstrued for decades. The gentlemen you see getting shot in the head in the photo (and in the camera footage) had in fact just been captured after he had slaughtered an entire policemen’s family. He was killing civilians, he was wearing civilian clothes. Loan shot the son of a bitch with his own gun. They could not take him prisoner and have him tag along with them, and they could not let him go. So according to the rules of war, having captured a war criminal engaged in an atrocity while out of uniform, Loan decided to execute him, which he was within his rights to do.

Yet how has that incident been portrayed during the intervening 40 years? As some poor guy getting shot dead by our ruthless allies just because they SUSPECT he’s a VC. Nothing could be further from the truth. Even the guy that shot the picture later said he hated how it had been used and miscontrued over the years as an indictment of the South Vietnamese. The photographer that shot the film agreed the guy got exactly what he deserved. But the liberals got to paint what everybody took away from the event.

With the hysterical screaming that came out of the pussies in DC over the Abu Gharib photos and the purported “terrible” conditions and torture at Gitmo, actually applying the law of the battlefield would be out of the question. We all know that it’s gotten to the point now that the bad guys are actually taught to insist they’re being tortured and misused to evoke sympathy, so what would happen if a newsreel like that was shown today? BTW, for those youngsters here, that’s what that clip is called, and they showed them at the beginning of every movie in the theater! ;0)

And after all, isn’t killing a Muslim extremist doing him the highest possible service?

Dying at the hands of the enemies of Islam is after all not only a bona-fide pass to Heaven but ensures his gift of fruit/children to molest alongside Big Pedo Mo.

In the name of good relations, cultural understanding and religious tolerance, we need to re-hire the hangmen.
