Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler » Memorial Day-Silky Pony “Style”

I came across this little piece of idiotarian, traitorous drool over at the The Patriot Post in the Friday, May 25 Digest. Trying to fisk through it on top of Publisher Mark Alexander’s take, required a quadruple dose of my blood pressure meds and a pint of anti-emetic.

This preening, whimpering little prick is beyond any chance of redemption. Coming on the heels of arguing that the term “War On Terror” is a mere bumper-sticker slogan, he proceeds to shit on every fallen hero that we celebrate on Memorial Day, with ‘his’ cut and run (from everything) vision.

***DRINK and SPEW WARNING IS IN EFFECT***

Edwards Sullies Memorial Day

Here’s a teaser from Alexander’s comment:

At a commencement address at New England College in New Hampshire, Edwards called on people to send care packages and hold prayer vigils with the ultimate aim of demanding an end to the war in Iraq. [Emph Mine]

The Concorde Monitor Bird Cage Liner has more here: Edwards tells grads to help end Iraq war

Just when you think the socialist, peacenik swine of the left have finally hit bottom, yet another one starts digging more.

Memo to Breck Girl: Fuck You, your horse and your dog. You aren’t fit to lick the sweat off the scrotum of the lowliest private in the sandbox.

Shouldn’t you be spending time with your ill wife, instead of pissing on millions of patriot-heroes sleeping in graves around the world?

Congrats, zoomie. I know how good it felt to put that upper stripe on, especially after waiting 7 months.

Edwards and his ilk are just one of the many reasons I won’t return to NC to live. I’d hate to have to admit I’m in the same fucking STATE. As for respecting Memorial Day, you’d have to first expect Breck Boy to respect our military. And we already know the answer to that one, hmmmm?

I’m surprised his wimpy ass isn’t here on the Gulf Coast this weekend, being that it’s the Rainbow Rivera this weekend.

That’s ANOTHER thing that pisses me off, the gays inundate this area for THIS weekend, again showing no respect for the holiday.

Makes me glad I called the guy a “pompous, full of shit windbag” back in 1999 (maybe 2000) at a local NC Democratic Party fundraiser. Funny part was, my Democrat buddies there with me and quite a few of the Democrats I didn’t know agreed with me. For my part I also refused to shake his hand twice before I insulted him- I knew he was scum long before today.

I think the graduates should demand an end to the war in Iraq. It has waged on far too long in my opinion. Therefore, those graduates should serve their country, or support those that do. They should demand that our soldiers be allowed to search for, and destroy, the enemy without the restrictions placed upon them by the JAGs. In short, they should demand that all Americans do what they can to support the war effort so we can be victorious.

Had the leftards been on board after 9/11 instead of openly supporting the other side, this war would have been over already. Had Bush told then to fuck off instead of fighting a politically correct war, our brave men and women would be home already.

    Hi,
It’s me–the evil liberal who spends all her free time madly reading up on current events.
Congratulations for the promotion! and to the other people in the military. I really do mean that. I was violently opposed to the start of the Iraq War (which has detracted from the Afghanistan war, where the Taliban has been regrouping), but I do think we need to stay in Iraq to stabilize things further. It is possible to be a Democrat and disagree with the prevailing opionin. BUT Please explain to me–I truly do not understand. Why does wanting to bring the troops home mean that you hate them? They are living in horrible conditions, facing death at any moment, working next to contractors that make 2-3 times as much. Is that such a bad thing to leave? I mean seriously–explain it to me!
What on earth was that about liberals supporting the other side after 9/11? I’ve never met any one that did not think 9/11 was a horrible thing. Except for Jerry Falwell, pretty much the whole country was highly upset.
That’s ridiculous to complain the Bush had to fight a politically correct war. It’s only now with the timetable issue that there could be restrictions. This is the guy that signs laws and says “Oh–I don’t have to abide by them.” If Bush and Rumsfeld had listened to their GENERALS, the war would have been run properly, and the insurgents would not have taken such a hold.
Personally, Osama bin Laden does not upset me anywhere near as much as Al-Sadr.
-the traitor (somehow having a different view makes me unpatriotic)

By the way, Memorial Day will be a big shopping day. There was an editorial in the NY Times a couple weeks ago about how it was a nice day, and people were shopping, and seemed not to be aware there is a war going on.

    Psychochick,

first off…let me explain a protocol that I use in my posts. You’ll notice that I put your name in bold letters…that’s a sign of respect that I use, most people who come here to troll or debate don’t get that little piece of respect as they don’t argue from intelligence or coherence. You do both, and I acknowledge that (even though you are incorrect a lot of the time…mheh.) Welcome aboard and enjoy the ride.

    You say:

BUT Please explain to me–I truly do not understand. Why does wanting to bring the troops home mean that you hate them? They are living in horrible conditions, facing death at any moment, working next to contractors that make 2-3 times as much. Is that such a bad thing to leave? I mean seriously–explain it to me!

We all want them to come home my friend, some of us want them to come victorious and others want them to come home with the mission unaccomplished. Those who claim to “support the troops but not the mission” are only using them as political pawns in their hate Bush chess game….they care nothing for the troops.

I don’t know how many military types you know, I know quite a few from my years working with them…I did not serve, but spent ten years of my life working next to them, either in an office or in the field. I know a few who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan, they are old enough to remember what happened to the Vietnam Vets when they came home. They see a news media that seems bent on making sure that happens to them again, by promoting a very very left wing anti-war agenda nightly. Don’t believe me? watch CNN almost any afternoon and see what the overriding theme is, and count how many times wolf blitzer (notice his name isn’t boldened)asks this: “Do you think we’re losing in Iraq?” They are getting our troops killed by emboldening and encouraging the enemy. It is part of the jihadis doctrine to undermine us at home through our media, and the network airheads are fool enough to fall into it.

    Now you also say:

If Bush and Rumsfeld had listened to their GENERALS, the war would have been run properly, and the insurgents would not have taken such a hold.

roger that, you’ll find that most of us around here are HIGHLY upset by how this war is being conducted. From restrictive rules of engagement that our troops MUST follow, to punitive measures taken against them for mistakes made under fire, to not being allowed to harshly interrogate captured combatants (not detainees). Our so-called leaders are micro-managing this war, a mistake comparable to Johnson picking bombing targets during Vietnam. They also fight the war based on poll information…which is another way that the msm pollsters(no boldened letters there either)steer this conflict.

Bottom line Psychochick, you are on the wrong side…it is a side that is so blinded by it’s hatred of anything spelled Bush, that they will willingly undermine this war with the islamonazis if it makes Bush look bad. They care nothing about this country or it’s troops, and you are too eloquent and obviously too smart to be a part of that. Do one of two things please, either join us as an American and recognize what’s at stake in this war or slap the hell out of every liberal you know and tell them to WAKE THE HELL UP!!!.

Again, welcome to the Rott my friend.

BUT Please explain to me–I truly do not understand. Why does wanting to bring the troops home mean that you hate them?

Simple psychochick, they have sacrificed lives, limbs, and untold months and years away from their families for a cause they believe in. They are winning a hard fight, and winning big. Calling for them to be brought home is calling for them to be defeated. Plain and simple.

They are living in horrible conditions, facing death at any moment,

All part of the job and all the more reason that they should be allowed to finish the job, not told that what they endured was for nothing because some politicians decided the war was a better political tool to use against the opposition than a matter of national survival.

working next to contractors that make 2-3 times as much.

90-95% of whom are combat vets themselves and are generally highly regarded by the troops for their skills and expertise. No one begrudges the contractors the money they make, they earn it. Now, is that saying that we pay our troops a wage comensurate with what they do, no we don’t. But we all knew we’d never get rich in the service, thats not why you serve.

That’s ridiculous to complain the Bush had to fight a politically correct war. It’s only now with the timetable issue that there could be restrictions.

You need to speak to some trigger pullers about restrictive ROE’s psychochick. And the timetable isn’t a restriction, it’s a date certain defeat.

If Bush and Rumsfeld had listened to their GENERALS, the war would have been run properly, and the insurgents would not have taken such a hold.

Bush and Rumsfeld did listen to their Generals, as much as is appropriate. Remember that Rumsfeld initiated a hell of a lot of reforms in the Military to re-organize to fight just this type of war, and that stepped on quite a few polished toes. Generals aren’t above grudges and ill will towards their boss when he has to smack them around a little. As far as some of the tactical and strategic decisions made that may have contributed to the insurgency, mistakes are made in wars. And guess who made most of those decisions, yup the very same Generals you say Bush and Rummie should have listened to. You make rapid life and decisions under very stressful conditions during war, most of the time they are correct, but no one can is perfect and mistakes happen. A decision that is good and sound when made with the info at hand, can often times in hindsight with additional knowledge be proven wrong. Nature of the beast.

-the traitor (somehow having a different view makes me unpatriotic)

Nope. Legislating defeat, advancing enemy propaganda, elevating your own personal political power above whats best for the country, that does. You can hate Bush all you want, that’s a freedom that many have died and bled for you to have, but to allow that hatred to put you on the side of the enemy who wishes to destroy our civilization is pathological.

You’ll find no great love for Bush here at the Rott. We call a fucknozzle a fucknozzle when we see it. But I personally believe that when it comes to the strategic importance of the Long War, and the need to spread freedom over the status quo stability so long sought prior to 9/11, he’s dead on. And even no matter how much I may vehemently disagree with some of his other policies, I also believe just as strongly that he acts based on his core beliefs and what he believes is best for the nation. He is not afraid to make unpopular decisions and to stick to his beliefs. Others on the other side of the aisle, not so much.

  34. El Jeffmon Comment by El Jeffmon

I keep hearing (mostly democrat candidates, senators and representatives) saying they want to ‘end the war’. ‘Ending the war’ is not the goal. The goal is the unequivocal defeat of the enemy. The ‘end of the war’ comes as a result of our victory or our defeat. To espouse an ‘end of the war’ that does not come as a result of our victory constitutes treason.

U.S.C. § 2381 “…whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.”

    Seems pretty clear.

The only reason this nation has been dealing with Iraq for the past four years is because the world’s “leadership” in 1991 did not have the intestinal fortitude to do what was necessary then, namely finish what they started. Leaving Saddam in power created far more problems than what was solved in the ultra short term.

Does join us as an American mean that I am an American who should join your side, or that I am not an American because I am not on your side? There is a world of difference. Yes I hate Bush a lot. Why would that mean I wouldn’t want the war to go well and most of the troops to come out okay? I think you ascribe demonic motives to liberals unreasonably. Most people aren’t plotting against Bush trying to undermine the war effort. I know some of the things seem that way, but trying to bring the troops home is meant to be a good thing (even if it isn’t). It isn’t a plot to let the insurgents take over, which is of course what would happen, and why I want the troops to stay. There was a big lead article in yesterday’s lead NY Times online edition of the horrible things that would happen if we pulled out.

Boy, the adrenaline is going now.
