After a lot of wheeling, dealing and negotiations, I’ve finally nailed down a venue for the Tampa RottFest-2007. We WILL be staying in a large, 1st-class rental
palace home in a prime, up-scale area.
I’ve payed the initial security deposit to lock in our reservations. We’ll have the property from Friday, Feb. 16, 2007 with check-out on Monday, Feb. 19, 2007. BC and I spent days coming up with the best (and cheapest) deal we could find, trust us.
Now the SUPER important part. The full lease amount is required to be in the owner’s hands no later than February 5th or we lose the deal, period, end of story.
With that as a deadline, we need to get the $$$ together from everyone coming in time for me to get it paid, immediately. I’ll be using PayPal, allowing you to pony-up using a credit or debit card as well as a PayPal account if you have one (i.e.-it’s not required). PayPal direct (NOT PayPal eCheck) transfer being the preferred method.
It will take me 3-5 business days to transfer funds from PayPal into my personal account in order to have a Cashier’s Check cut and sent out in time.
Do the math from the deadline in reverse, along with getting this done around working full-time hours and you’ll see we MUST get the greenbacks in yesterday to pull it off, M’Kay?
The cost is about 1/3 of what you would pay for a decent hotel room in the area at this time of year (high-season), so we did get a bargain. Additionally the property has a full kitchen further keeping the price manageable to go out to the local
bars restaurants to eat as well, so it’s an unbeatable deal anyway you look at it.

I can’t stress this enough, we have to move quickly to pull it off.
As soon as I get your email, I’ll be sending a bill with instructions on how to forward the rental charge via PayPal (no YOU don’t need your own PayPal account), along with the venue address. It’s a pretty slick system, BUT all the transfers from your account to PayPal and then into my account (to get the Cashier’s Check) take time and that is very, very tight at this point.
Please accept my apologies for nagging, but the last-minute change in venue really left us scrambling to pull this off, and it’s shaping up to be a DO NOT MISS !!!
