Since the pro-amnesty RINOs and their lying camp followers (whores, thieves and moneylenders) love to trot out the tired old nag of “you bigoted Nazi unpatriotic homos don’t have any BETTER ideas”, we thought that it might be valuable to point towards an alternative to full amnesty and open borders from sea to shining sea.

The Imperial Educational Advisor has just such a one.

I just talked with an Eric @Greassroots which is a spinoff of the NRA.

I mentioned to him that we celebrate our Bill of Rights in many tangible, overt ways. We blog, write letters to editors, practice the religion we want., etc.

However the 2nd amendment that secures all the others is a day we do not demonstrably celebrate. Gun ownership was so important it was the second amendment

I suggested that on a day such as the 4th of July gun owners shoulder their weapons and carry them EMPTY to the local parade, or to the State Capitol , or to the City Hall. Long guns only.

It is a powerful visual image. I don’t know how many gu owners there are in the USA but if 10% or 20% participated the numbers would be in the millions.

The message. That we are willing to exercise all of our rights as citizens, especially the one that protects all the others.

Let the press cover that story! And our enemies note it.

Her suggestions seem reasonable to me.

I am still not sold on the ‘need’ for a fence or wall. The majority of people coming into this country are after jobs. Any ‘wall’ should be around those jobs, housing, and services. If there is nothing for them here, they will stop coming.

I agree that there should be some centralized system for birth certificates, and I think I would take it a step further.

I know I will anger some of you “privacy” people when I suggest this, but I think we have come to the point where we have no choice but to start thinking about biometric identification — for everyone. Fake documentation can be accomplished by a seventeen-year-old kid with a computer now, regardless of how many safeguards are put into place. (I mention this because my seventeen-year-old nephew was demonstrating his prowness this weekend by producing a rather convincing copy of a watermarked birth certificate showing his age to be 21. He also had a fake driver’s license)

I asked a question here about a week ago and nobody could answer me. That question was about the percentages of illegal aliens in this country.

When we talk about illegal aliens, an image is brought up of Mexicans crossing the border in droves. We don’t think about the thousands of people who come into this country each day on visas that meld into the background once their visas expire. I keep hearing that while Mexicans make up the single largest group of illegals in this country, they only make up 40 percent of the total number of illegals.

I know this is estimated, because there is no real way of knowing for sure. I suspect that the government knows the actual number of people here who have stayed beyond their visas, but they are being awful quiet about it.

If anyone can point me in the direction to find out what these percentages really are, I would appreciate it.

But the point I am trying to make here is that while the idea of a fence or a wall might make us feel better or somehow more secure, I don’t think that it is very effective against a lot of our illegal alien problems.

No I didn’t. The boss has been on Croacia all last week, and I have been suffering from excruciating pain as a result of oral surgury.

This site has a lot of information, including this document, which estimates that 83% of illegals are Mexican or other Latin American.

I’ve seen those sites, and as they admit because of the nature of being illegal in status, it is virtually impossible to keep an accurate number.

People who stay on expired visas are only discovered AFTER it is determined that their visas are in fact expired. This makes it that much more difficult to factor in the numbers. There is nothing that triggers enforcement once a visa expires. I know of two people right now who have overstayed their visas and aside from a post card sent to them over a year ago, asking if they were still in the country, nothing has ever been said to them.

ACCORDING TO SEN. DIANE FEINSTEIN (CA)

Illegal is illegal, regardless of race, creed, or color. If this country can only support an x-number of people given its current resources, then we have to restrict the number of people entering into the country until such time we are able to assimulate more. It has nothing to do with whether we “hate” someone who is not from around here or not. It is about maintaining our own standard of living.

I suggest we require any Mexicans who want a visa to renounce their Mexican citizenship and all loyalty to Mexico. That way we’d be stealing twelve to twenty million people from our southern neighbor. Don’t you wonder what the Mexican government, the same one that thinks its citizens have a right to a US job, would say about that?

I know I will anger some of you “privacy” people when I suggest this, but I think we have come to the point where we have no choice but to start thinking about biometric identification — for everyone.

I don’t have a problem with biometric identification per se, what I have a problem with is who’s in charge of how it’s going to be used.

I’d sooner trust a helpless, hog-tied infant with a starving, rabid lion than I’d trust government with anything, and that goes for both parties. Government is, if I have to express it as charitably as I possibly can, a necessary evil and they should be kept under close, armed supervision and in shackles at all times. Under no circumstances should they ever be allowed to as much as fart without a heavily armed citizen licensed to kill making sure that they’re not abusing the privilege.

And that’s my problem. Because I can guaran-damn-tee you that if there’s a way to abuse something for their own benefit and to our detriment, government will find it and they will make the most of the opportunity. Those NICS checks made when you purchase a firearm? I don’t have a problem with those either, per se, but if you think for a second that those records are really “destroyed” as we’ve been told, then I’ve got a nice bridge in Brooklyn that you might be interested in.

As to biometric identification, I promise you right here and now that the records won’t merely contain what is necessary to prove that you are who you say you are. Government agencies are like crack addicts when it comes to compiling information on citizens, with the main exception that crack addicts aren’t consumed by a perverse totalitarian desire to enslave you, they just want enough money for the next hit.

If, IF such a biometric check consisted solely of confirming that you were entitled to whatever it was that you were seeking and IF the record of the check was immediately destroyed from the system with no trace whatsoever and IF abuse of the system by government officials was a capital offense with immediate execution sans the benefit of a trial, THEN I might trust the government with it.

Please don’t say “private enterprise”. We already have ChoicePoint and Wackenhut collecting and disseminating more information about us than they ought to. For a couple of bucks, I can find out more about you than you probably know.

For me, the only logical entity to keep this information is the Social Security Administration.

As to biometric identification, I promise you right here and now that the records won’t merely contain what is necessary to prove that you are who you say you are. I think you would be alarmed to find out just how much DNA records our federal government already maintains, and how they’ve collected it. It is only a matter of time before the majority of people are cataloged with or without your knowledge. As far as them collecting information on you — your name courses through hundreds of servers at any given minute of the day. Your shopping habits are an open book to anyone with the know-how to tap into the system. If companies like ChoicePoint have this information, it is a given that the government does too.

We can bellyache and lament about this happening, but we’d just be complaining about water flowing over the falls.

We might as well make the most of it and put it to work for us.

Here is the email I just sent to the GOP (sorry bout the length):
The reasons I will not be supporting the GOP senate or congressional fund is because you will use my money to support RINOs like the never to be damned enough spector (no Caps on purpose). I will support Tom Tancredo, Mr. Hunter, or Fred Thompson for President. I will never vote for any of the present candidates, guiliani, the never-to-be-trusted violator of the 1st Amendment McCain, or Romney. I have been a registered Republican since I turned 18 and I used to defend President bush, but no longer. His push to allow 12 million (20 million more than likely) scofflaws to remain in the USA, without penalty (since we all know none will pay a dime of the fines he is always sure to mention) instead of performing his duty as Commander-in-Chief and securing the borders makes me and indeed my entire family, sick. I do not want, nor need, a “comprehensive” bill. SECURE THE DAMN BORDERS!!!!!!! Then worry about sucking up to millions of people who have no regard for our laws, or way of life, many if not most of whom think of themselves as mexicans, first last and always. Legal immigration is fine, but to attempt to screw the American people again like you did in 1986 with a “comprehensive border sercurity bill” is sickening to me. I will support Senators and Congressmen who vote to secure the borders, I will do everything in my power to insure the defeat of ANYONE who votes for any other bill if the borders have not been secured first. SECURE THE DAMN BORDERS! STOP ILLEGALS FROM RECEIVING ANY ASSISTANCE FROM US TAXPAYERS! GET RID OF THE “ANCHOR BABY” ROUTE TO CITIZENSHIP! STOP SUPPORTING SCUM LIKE spector, mccain, AND OTHER RINOS! Then I will support the party as a whole, but not before! I would rather we lose a seat, than have a RINO win and start stabbing us in the back like spector did right after he won his seat.

In L.A. (and I’m sure other places) they call it “Broken Window Enforcement”. In a run down area, you start citing people for having cardboard over the windows, the neighbors hear this is being enforced and start fixing their’s. Windows, 1 1/2 high grass, three derelict cars in the driveway…start enforcing the law and word gets around, and nobody wants to be threatened with the penalty.

All of a sudden the run down area starts to take on some pride and class.

The next thing is the residents actually want the police to stop the break-ins and other stuff going on, so the investment in their now descent looking property isn’t wasted.

    I’ve seen it happen.

Yep. I am getting new teeth and the first order of bidness was to remove all of the old ones. So, in order NOT to spread this out over a series of yankings, I opted to have them all removed at the same time.

I had impressions taken before they were pulled, but unfortunately, I required some reconstruction, so the teeth they delivered won’t fit. Now I am starting the whole impression thing over again — complete with implanted dentures — and I should be up and chomping again on or about July 21st.

I can lose weight by not eating as much, and I have quit smoking. In the mean time, it is a steady diet of Copper River Salmon for me.

Been there done that myself DJ. Back in April I had to have all that done to my top teeth. Be prepared to be on soft foods for a good three weeks. Trust me. And, food is going to feel VERY strange since you will no longer have nerves in those teeth. It’s amazing how much those top teeth allow you to enjoy food. You don’t realize it till they are gone. I can no longer tolerate rice or pasta. They trigger my gag reflex too much because of the way they feel when I eat.
As for losing weight…I’ve dropped 44lbs since having mine done.

That’s wonderful to hear–makes me happy. I’ve heard that even putting flower boxes up in blighted areas makes a difference.

This city (Central Coast) is kind of fascist about little things–can’t have your garbage cans visible from the street. Cars on lawns would not be tolerated. You get a ticket if your car is in the same place on the street for 48 hr!

so sorry. husband just had that done to all his remaining teeth (gradually). We’ve been married for 15 years, and this is the first time I’ve ever heard him complain about pain. I guess implants are 60 grand with no guarantee that they will work.

44 lb is awesome, but what an awful way to lose it (never commented on how you rule with Photoshop!)

You make yourself look stupid. Go do something worthwhile rather than hang around here jacking off at the posts connected to your name.

They felt sorry enough for you to pop for the salmon (you must really be in pain!)? Or did you ketch it yourself? Last I checked at Haggen, it was $19/lb!!! So, although I really, really wanted it, I bought chicken instead (because I’m cheap!). I’m going to check on that fish to see if it’s come down in price; I’ve been dreaming about it!

BTW, my friend had her teeth done last Wednesday. I was surprised they put the plate in right away, but she came home wearing her teeth. Had to go back in to have them adjusted after the swelling went down. I think she has to go in a couple more times. They said they wouldn’t have a “final” fit for nearly a year. She’s doing pretty well already, though, and called me yesterday to say she ate an apple (cut up in slices). It was the first apple she’s eaten in 10 years! Good luck with your mouth!

    biometric identification — for everyone.

This scares the snot out of me. I’m one of those Christians who believes in Revelation and the mark of the beast. This biometric identification gets us that one step closer.

I won’t even let the zoo stamp my hand when I visit. I don’t want to get complacent.

The only thing that I would add to Madame Du Toit’s fine proposal is this: Open a group of Federal Prison Farms/Factories, the output from which would be used to supply the Federal, State and local prison systems. Catch an illegal and sentence them to three years (minimum) at one of them. THEN deport their ass.

(These would also make a useful alternative for “minimum security” prisoners, particularly those convicted of fraud, insider trading, etc.)

Aaaaugggghhhhh! Had my husband check at the store last night, and Copper River Salmon was listed at
$29.99/lb. Can you believe it? Either I misread it the first time, or the demand/supply ratio has gotten bigger. Oh, well. Maybe next year! :)
