In that case, we may have something right up your alley.

Now, we haven’t read it yet but, based on the blurb below as well as our correspondence with the author, USMC CPL Matthew Reed, it sounds like this one will be quite worth the read.

Terrorists being eliminated by the Russian Mafia in order to bypass the bleeding heart legislation? Did we mention Haji trash being taken out in quite violent and satisfying ways?

“I’ve written a counter-terrorist Novel titled In The Death of Night. It’s about a retired C.I.A. Case Officer named Bill Carpenter who manipulates and leverages the Russian Mafia into killing Islamic terrorists inside Houston. This scheme is accomplished via the transfer of covertly obtained, inside information on Law Enforcement Operations against Russian Organized Crime, to a former K.G.B. Officer who, in exchange for the information, dispatches his syndicate’s ex-Spetsnaz and ex G.R.U. Russian Military Triggermen to brutally eradicate the terrorists. As the Novel goes on, South African Mercenaries and retired Special Forces Operators are hired through cash payments to conduct bloody and brutal assassinations of more high profile targets.

Retired Cops and other Military veterans who’ve read this Novel told me it could be used as a training manual on how to kill terrorists and were amazed at the level of tradecraft and detail.”

– Matthew Reed

Quite an intriguing idea, to use the Russians to wipe out terrorists. I’m reminded of the real life story from the Middle East where some Hizb’allah apes made the fatal mistake of kidnapping four Soviet diplomats back in 1985. They killed one, then mysteriously decided to return the other three. It is said that it had something to do with close relations of the Hizb’allah showing up dead on the doorsteps of the kidnappers. Well, parts of them showing up anyway. This was later denied by the KGB, claiming that the media reports were just a “bluff.” We’re not so sure about that. Anyway, the KGB Colonel denying the story, Yuriy Perfiliev, did mention that he’d met with the leader of Hizb’allah, letting them know that unless the diplomats were returned, the Soviet Union might just “accidentally” fire a nuke at Qom, Iran.

How we miss the good old days when men knew how to deal with subhuman scum.

I seem to recall that here recently, within the last year or two, that some Russian diplomats were kidnapped in Iraq or thereabouts.. anyone know what the outcome of all that was? I reckon I missed it, if it was resolved..

Yeah, I recall the story of the Russian diplomats. The KGB can deny it all they want, but there’s really no other explanation for their sudden release other then a few people being found dead in some very nasty fashion.

Too bad we’re too nice to not do some similar stuff to some of the present monsters out there.

Suits me just fine. The French and Spanish Foreign Legions, despite having the misfortune of being under leftard governments, do get business done. And yes, they do what they fell like, as they have nothing to lose. Most of the FLs, despite rumors otherwise, may have some criminal background. Not Charlie Manson bad, but handy with knives, weapons, and breaking security systems. Only the officers are French or Spanish, the rest, and their mean ass NCOs are all foreigners. Kind of harkens to the old days of WWII when there were Polish and Czech Legions that eviscerated Nazi and Fascist scum. And yes, the forerunners of the IDF Ground Forces, UK’s Jewish Brigades. Talk about vengeance killings. Read a book called The Brigades, about the Jewish soldiers, woooooooooo, they chopped up some baaaad men.

Hell, you can’t negotiate with radical muslims, PERIOD. The best thing you can give them is a hollowpoint bullet between the eyes. I’m all for taking some of their leaders, and after a few good hits with a club, cut them once on the face or arm, just enought to bleed and give off the scent of blood in the air, and then throw them alive and conscious into a pen full of hogs that haven’t eaten in a couple of days. do this to a few with a couple more watching, and let THEM go back to tell their buttpals what they’ve seen with the message “MORE TO COME!”".

Let’s not forget that the Spetznaz and the KGB didn’t (and don’t, regardless of what their name is now) by the same rules as we force ourselves to. Meaning simply, they do what it takes to get their people back, everyone else be damned. And if some camel felcher happens to be in the way, it must have been Allah’s will for them to be chopped into little pieces.

And, you gotta admire their style!

This has to do with the original book selection, not recovering kidnapped people from foreign countries.

I don’t know that I want to get involved in this, but when known terrorists are left running around loose in the US, isn’t it to keep them under heavy surveillance to figure out who all their contacts are? Then they arrest the whole nest of them. If they show signs of becoming active, they get arrested immediately. Is it really the best course of action to kill them before our intelligence agencies are through with them?

What’s the point in arresting them? The whole point of the exercise is to track them down, all of them, then kill them in ways so gruesome that it would make Satan himself enter therapy.

I have no interest in “arresting” child murderers. I’m only interested in seeing them die. All of them. Along with their friends and enablers.

If it were up to me, we’d impale them, gut them from the pubic bone to the sternum and let them scream themselves to death. Not only is it what they deserve, it would make any wannabes think twice about following in their footsteps.

I’m not registered at StratFor, but if any LCs are, one reference indicated there’s an article discussing that incident. Something like counter kidnappings of family members and a small body part delivered as a token of “good will.” I don’t much like the ruskies, but I sure like the way they work when they’re pointed in the right direction.
