Rahm Emanuel is now whining that he’s been “receiving death threats” over his obvious involvement in one of the nastiest corruption scandals in the history of our nation, which is saying a bit when you talk about Democrats.

Back at his home, Emanuel appeared “beet-red,” according to an ABC News cameraman who was invited inside by Emanuel to use his bathroom this morning.

“I’m getting regular death threats. You’ve put my home address on national television. I’m pissed at the networks. You’ve intruded too much, ” Emanuel said, according to the cameraman.

Awwww… What a sad, metrosexual pussy of a seemingly male member of the species. What happened to the Capone-like “man’s man” who once listed a number of defeated political enemies at a dinner, punctuating every cry of “DEAD!” by stabbing his steak knife into the table?

Time to brush the sand out of your vagina, “Rahmbo”, isn’t it?

And, by the way, where was your outrage when Joe the Plumber was subjected to similar treatment and worse simply because he’d had the nerve, nerve to ask your nutless empty suit of a Jug-Eared Marxist Freak Candidate an honest question that your neophyte dumbass Anointed One couldn’t answer without shooting himself in both feet?

There are “mis-spokes” and “inartfully puts” all over the place as the Fresh Prez of Bill Ayers’ staff scamper for cover, trying desperately to avoid the dread treads of the Campaign Bus of Doom.

It’s priceless. The Chicago Machine empty suit, Obambi, is already shaping up to become the most corrupt administration in living memory and he hasn’t even taken office yet.

But, then again, that’s sort of his whole M.O., isn’t it? Why wait for the actual coronation when you can fuck up time and time again before then?

Did resident-select Hussein, have anything to do with Governor Blabbervich’s dirty Senate seat dealings? Who the heck knows? What we do know is that he’s been lying up and down about the whole affair and his involvement in it since the story broke.

But, then again, we already knew that he was a pathological liar.

I’m under no illusions that Blagojevich will either be convicted or not pardoned. Fitzgerald has but 40 days to get a conviction before he is no longer US Attorney. Further, Blagojevich and Obama share a friend convicted on public corruption charges, Tony Rezko, and Obama will, as of January 20, have the power to make all of Blagojevich’s federal charges disappear.

Hmmm… I am under no illusions that the Obamessiah would dearly love to do just that, and I am also under no illusions that somewhere deep inside that megalomaniacal, narcissistic, jug-eared skull of his a tiny voice is telling him that He, the Anointed One, should go right ahead and do so, but…

On the other hand. The only thing larger than the Obamessiah’s ego is his lust and craving for power and his pathetic desire to be seen as Mr. Hope’n'Change, He Who Commands the Oceans to Recede and Who Makes the World Safe for Unicorns, Puppies, Children and Other Living Things.

Particularly so right now when he’s caught like a deer in the headlights, finally realizing that he’s not playing for the next job anymore, that this one’s for keeps and that the golden days of having no record and voting “present” to avoid getting one are well and truly over.

I’m not so sure that he’s all that interested to start The Age of the Obamessiah by absolving the sins of somebody who, by the looks of it and his previous history, is as guilty as Hell and wouldn’t leave anybody weeping if he were to be marched off to Club Fed for a goodly while.

He’s already catching plenty of flak for his incoming administration being made up almost entirely of old Clinton retreads, which doesn’t play too well with his “CHANGE!” mantra. I’m not sure that he wants to be known as the guy whose first act in office was freeing a scumbag that everybody knew was guilty of scumbaggery. It’s all about PR, perception and image, you know. Had this happened a couple of years into his administration it would have been different.

Add to that his complete absence of hesitation when it comes to throwing “troublesome” associates and life-long friends under the bus for personal gain AND the fact that Blabbervich is a low-level (compared to the office that the Obamessiah is now set to occupy) crook with nothing to offer him anymore and I think that it’s a very real possibility that the Anointed Fresh Prez of Bill Ayers and Personal Expediency will take one look at “Honest Rod” and think “hey, he’d make a perfect inaugural sacrifice upon the altar of “CHANGE, HOPE AND ACCOUNTABILITY!”

Unless Blabbervich has some really juicy dirt on the Chosen One, of course, which is also a possibility.

Returning to that particular subject, however, it looks like the Jug-Eared Prevaricator once again stepped in it when he declared, upon hearing of his buddy Rod’s predicament, that “he’d had no contact with the governor’s office.” Except, according to his other henchman, “Astroturf” Axelrod, he very much had been in contact with Blabbersandwich, particularly about who would get to take over the Anointed One’s Senate seat.

Ho-HUM. Another day, another blatant, criminal lie from the Anointed Jug-Eared Marxist Freak, and he hasn’t even been sworn in yet. It’s going to be a fun four fucking years trying to keep up with every single lie that serial prevaricator blows out his filthy pie hole.

Gov. Rod Blagojevich and his chief of staff were arrested today by FBI agents on federal corruption charges. Click here for the latest updates from the Breaking News Center.

A three-year federal corruption investigation of pay-to-play politics in Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s administration has expanded to include his impending selection of a new U.S. senator to succeed President-elect Barack Obama, the Tribune has learned.

Federal authorities got approval from a judge before the November general election to secretly record the governor, sources told the Tribune, and among their concerns was whether the selection process might be tainted. That possibility has become a focus in an intensifying investigation that has included recordings of the governor and the cooperation of one of his closest friends.

Before his perp walk, Gov. Blabberwich issued the following statements:

Speaking to reporters Monday for the first time since the Tribune revealed federal investigators had recorded him and others as part of their corruption probe, Blagojevich said his discussions were “always lawful.”

Although we have to issue a 48-hour rule on this one since it’s only just breaking and nobody’s speaking yet, it sure looks to us like the FBI’s definition of “lawful” might not be quite the same as Gov. Orange Jumpsuitovich’s.

Oh, and of course the typical liberal nonsensical pointing fingers and throwing around non sequiturs in order to escape blame for anything:

“I should say if anybody wants to tape my conversations, go right ahead, feel free to do it,” he said. “I appreciate anybody who wants to tape me openly and notoriously, and those who feel like they want to sneakily, and wear taping devices, I would remind them that it kind of smells like Nixon and Watergate.”

We could be wrong, but we don’t seem to recall that Nixon got the approval of a federal judge to break into the DNC’s headquarters and spy on them. But other than that, it’s exactly the same.

We do find it heartwarming and reassuring that Gov. Honest Rod has no problem at all with being recorded. As long as the ones doing the recordings tell him so openly and notoriously before they hit the “REC” button, that is. Which doesn’t at all suggest that he might say something, erm, “questionable” if they failed to give him “fair” warning first.

Now there’s the mark of an honest and open government official with nothing to hide, don’t you think?

The arrest is the latest step in a three-year probe of “pay-to-play politics” in the governor’s administration.

A statement by U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald and FBI Special Agent-in-Charge Robert Grant said Blagojevich and Harris “allegedly conspired to sell U.S. Senate appointment, engaged in pay-to-play schemes and threatened to withhold state assistance to Tribune Company for Wrigley Field to induce purge of newspaper editorial writers.”

“The breadth of corruption laid out in these charges is staggering,” Fitzgerald said in a statement.

“Blagojevich put a for sale sign on the naming of a United States Senator; involved himself personally in pay-to-play schemes with the urgency of a salesman meeting his annual sales target; and corruptly used his office in an effort to trample editorial voices of criticism,” he added.

Yep, he’s a regular Pillar of Society, that Honest Rod Blagojevich, no doubt about it.

Fitzgerald’s office said the 76-page FBI affidavit alleges that Blagojevich was taped conspiring to sell or trade Obama’s vacated U.S. Senate seat for financial and other personal benefits for himself and his wife, including an annual salary of $250,000-$300,000 at a nonprofit foundation or an organization affiliated with labor unions.

They also allege Blagojevich is heard on tape demanding a corporate board seat for his wife worth as much as $150,000 a year; promises of campaign funds, including cash up front; and a Cabinet post or ambassadorship for himself.

And now, at long last, it’s finally FITZmas!!!

But it nicely dovetails with two other Rangel escapades of late: That he failed to pay taxes on $75,000 in rental income from his luxury beach villa in the Caribbean because he—ahem—didn’t know it was income; and that he scored several rent-stabilized apartments in New York, each of which he must claim as his primary residence. Taken all together, it looks like the top tax-writer in Congress is a tax cheat.

You’ll notice that the LefTards and their mouthpieces, the Lamestream Midiots™, have been strangely silent about Pimp Daddy Rangel’s multiple, multi-year felonies, whereas they’ve been haranguing and hounding Sen. Ted Stevens (R-Alaska), endlessly, for having his house worked on by constituents, pro bono. “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste,” Rahm Emanuel, Mr. Obama’s new chief of staff, told a Wall Street Journal conference of top corporate chief executives this week.

He elaborated: “Things that we had postponed for too long, that were long-term, are now immediate and must be dealt with. This crisis provides the opportunity for us to do things that you could not do before.”

Yeeeeeeeeeah… Like taking over the entire banking and housing markets; instituting Socialist, government-run health care; bankrupting energy producers with idiotically insane environmental policies; taking over the auto industry through blackmail loans “bail-outs”; taxing businesses into bankruptcy (ensuring even more people end up on the government teat through welfare and/or unemployment); amnesty for illegals (ensuring even MORE 3-D’s [Dumb, Donk & Dependent]); outlawing the private ownership of firearms, etc., ad nauseum…

Bloomberg L.P., the parent company of Bloomberg News, said last week that it filed a lawsuit seeking information on the collateral that a group of banks pledged for some $2 trillion in emergency loans from the Federal Reserve.

Bloomberg asked a federal court in New York to require the Federal Reserve to disclose the identity of the banks that borrowed money through certain financing mechanisms, and to disclose what assets they pledged against those loans.

Bloomberg filed the suit after the Federal Reserve said that it would deny Bloomberg’s request for the information under the Freedom of Information Act.

“You do NOT need to see who we’re giving your money to and what they’re putting up as collateral, you silly plebes! After all, we’re here to take care of you!”

Ordered by the 6th Circuit to follow the law and let the election boards do their jobs, she has appealed to the Supreme Court’s Justice Stevens, who is known to show some latitude when it comes to interpreting the law as written, to intervene on her behalf, lest her Obamessiah risk losing Ohio.

At this point, I don’t care how much the Obamarx wins by, if he indeed does win, I will never ever recognize his office. If I were in uniform, I would furthermore be required to remove him from office by all means at my disposal.
