It’ll be interesting to see how Teh Great Gorebecile and his Gaian Groin Goiter™, aka James “If The Data Don’t Fit, You Must Adjust It!” Hansen, try to discredit Physicist Walter Cunningham, NASA Apollo 7 Astronaut and award-winning scientist, now that he’s dropped Thor’s Hammer o’ Doom™ on their Great Glow Bull Ponzi Scheme™.
It doesn’t help that NASA scientist James Hansen was one of the early alarmists claiming humans caused global warming. Hansen is a political activist who spreads fear even when NASA’s own data contradict him. [...] NASA should be at the forefront in the collection of scientific evidence and debunking the current hysteria over human-caused, or Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW). Unfortunately, it is becoming just another agency caught up in the politics of global warming, or worse, politicized science. Advocacy is replacing objective evaluation of data, while scientific data is being ignored in favor of emotions and politics. [...] I do see hopeful signs that some true believers are beginning to harbor doubts about AGW. Let’s hope that NASA can focus the global warming discussion back on scientific evidence before we perpetrate an economic disaster on ourselves.

What you said. This particular issue is my pet peeve (Globull Wormening). The last part of the article where Cunningham refers to the actual amount of Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere should blow the whole APW theory to hell.
Any one with even a passing interest in Science can find the actual amount of CO2 in the atmosphere.
The percentage is (get this): 0.0360% AND THIS TINY AMOUNT, less than a tenth of a percent is causing all of this gloom and doom. I ain’t buyin’ that :em72: for a minuite.

It’s way past time to cull the herd. Expose the agenda and the perpetrators. Charge them with everything that applies up to and including treason. There’s one sure cure for their treasonous disease. All proceeds from the firing squad raffle would fund a righteous Rottfest!!!!

With the lengthening solar cycles, we’re likely on the verge of another Little Ice Age. When 1/2 the world’s population had died off and the rest of us are huddling around the fires we’ve built from our homes, which we can no longer heat, the Goreacle and his acolytes will be either (a) screaming that the world is getting ready to burn up or (b) take credit for saving us from ourselves, before jetting off to Bermuda.

Good to see someone with NASA cred take on these AGW charlatans.
There are only a few key points we need to remember:
1. Elevated C0₂ levels in the atmosphere FOLLOW global warming, not the other way around. This alone puts the lie to “An Inconvenient Truth”.
2. If it were possible for man to warm the planet, IT WOULD BE A GOOD THING. Colder we die. Warmer we thrive.
3. We are now in our tenth year of global cooling. Expect MUCH cooler years ahead. (And thus, more famine and death on a global scale).
4. Expect DJ and other Flat-Earthers to deny these facts.

Great article. It was a hoot reading the comments after it. There was one (probably from a desperate “true believer”) that said Cunningham’s “only” qualification for participating in the AGW debate was his “going into space”. Hello? How does one get to be an astronaut (even in the 1960s) in the first place? Something about a strong science/engineering background, as I recall, not just stick-and-rudder skills. Plus Walter Cunningham is a real, no-kidding physicist. Physics is the sine qua non of scientifically understanding meteorology and climatology. Without it, you’re no better than a layman (a la the Gorebecile). The US military has known this for a long time. When I was in Army recruiting in the early 1980s, I helped place a recruit into an Army meteorology specialty. One of the prerequisites for his MOS was high school physics. He had it, plus the other qualifications, he got the job.
As other people have said, here and elsewhere, it’s all about control. It’s about controlling people, making them do what their socialist “betters” want them to do “for their own good” (can’t have too many uppity peasants around, doing as they please, now can we?) and controlling the West, especially the U.S. Nothing strikes fear into the hearts of the world’s dictators and other socialist trash more than an assertive, confident, wealthy U.S of A. At their base, global climate regulations are nothing more than an attempt to clip the Eagle’s wings.
