If the shoe fits, wear it and all that rot, you KNOW who you are.
We warned you the New Democrat party isn’t the party of your parents and grandparents. It’s strings are pulled by anti-American globalists like Soros and Company. Their “Progressive” policies are socialism as preached by Marx, Lenin and Alinsky. The two leading candidate are even admirers of the latter. Their vision of America is not one that our founders created and paid for in blood.
And our warning fell on deaf ears.
We warned you the the GOP and many politicians with an (R) behind the names were neither true republicans let alone conservatives. They aren’t of the party of Reagan, Lincoln and TR. They have no real principles other than what ensures they keep their power.
And our warning was ignored.
We warned you not to grow weary and apathetic about the Long War against implacable, fanatical, homicidal foes, that seek our total subjugation or destruction.
But you changed the channel to American Idol.
We begged you to inform yourself by reading and studying instead of absorbing sound-bites designed to brain wash you.
Yet you listened and believed the talking heads on TV and the op-ed pieces disguised as ‘news’.
We deplored you to understand that class warfare benefits no one other than the politicians seeking to acquire and gain power.
Yet you allowed yourself to become a society of victims, begging like dogs for a treat from your masters in government.
We tried to educate you that taxing the ‘rich’ and big business results in lost jobs and increased costs of good and services.
But you still cry for the government to punish the creation of wealth that gives us our standard of living, and hand it to the least productive among us.
We brow-beat you into taking seriously your civic duty as a voter, researching the candidates and making an informed decision, before entering the polling both.
But Britney Spears latest escapades were more entertaining than that dull “political” stuff.
In November you’ll be asked to vote for the next President of the United State and Commander-in-Chief. Whoever that is will directly affect your life in ways that will be painful and G_d forbid, possibly tragic.
The citizens of Florida yesterday, put us well on our way to ensuring that whoever wins in November, is neither willing or able to do that which MUST be done for our great Republic’s very survival, however unpleasant that might be.
We’re almost assured that the winner will once again, govern based not on principle, but on opinion polls, focus groups and what the editorial page of the New York Times says.
We here on the real right, the true Reagan Conservative right, have been egregiously betrayed by the party and our fellow citizens that lack any real principle and conviction of what the US needs at this point in our history as the occupant of the Oval Office.
Great empires have fallen, when they have achieved economic and social success, shedding personal responsibility to the hands of government that morphs into personal apathy, followed by utter narcissism and total collapse.
Have we begun that spiral into the pages of history? The Republic is in mortal danger from within by apathy and from force without.
My message to those of you that have ignored this clarion call, is taken from one of our founders, that recognized the danger of a free republic:
“If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.”- Samuel Adams
Consider those words carefully, the chains are just over the horizon.
Who out there in this great experiment in freedom and self-governance is willing to take a stand, shoulder to shoulder with our brothers and sisters on this hill, today?
I stand HERE.

Actually, we were cajoled into being open-minded. “Don’t be single-issue,” they said. “Reagan was great, but we need a big-tent party,” they said. We were lied to by the Rockefeller/Bush/Ford wing of the party.
Even so, the joke is on them because they didn’t win before Reagan, and the only way they did win since ‘88 was to pass themselves off as Sons of Reagan, an irony that looks really bad in the rearview mirror.
It’s time for the purge that should’ve happened in 1980. No more tolerance of country-club RINO’s. End of story. That way leads to socialism and bondage, as you say, a path we should have permanently abandoned in the 1980’s instead of trusting them in 1988, 1994, 2000, and 2004.

I am of the belief that this nation is in the process of collapse. We probably reached the high water mark with the landings on the moon. Since then we have been in a state of decay and collapse, punctuated by one man, Ronald Reagan, trying to stave off the fall.
I think we will see an economic collapse withing the next 2 years. When that happens, you will see the government move towards authoritarians, then to totalitarianism. (sp?)
If Hillary is president, she will move to make herself president for life. The only hope at that point would be the military remembering their oath and stepping in to remove her and her cronies. That thought is so against their mindset that I would suspect the military would disintegrate instead.
I believe that civil war is a very high possibility and with that the thugocracies of the UN will attempt to step in to “Secure the weapons of mass destruction.” In reality it will be the greatest looting expedition in history.
Get your guns and lay in a supply of ammo. I think the time may come when good men and women will have to step forward and refresh the tree of liberty.
God, I hope I am dead wrong. :em03:

By the way thepresenceusmc, I heard this idea floated while in the instant bark last Tuesday: Conservatives should break away from the GOP and form their own party, since the GOP no longer represents them.
Any takers on that idea? Anybody want a TRUE independent third party? Because I know for one I would.

Move over Bro. I’m standing with you.
We have been brainwashed to think that compromising with the Left will get things done. Oh it got things done alright….all that the Left wanted and not a gotdamn thing that can be remotely called progress away from the self-centered, indulgent, narcissistic Socialist downslide that we find ourselves in now.
It’s really odd that the Left screams “Compromise” when they have no intentions of giving in on their demands. Compromise for them means capitulation and surrender for us.
Compromise is for married people who can’t decide what sofa to buy. They opt for two recliners.
Compromise is for a group of friends that half want Chinese food and the other half want Italian. They all go eat Mexican.
Compromise does not work when half the country want all the Federally funded abortions that Planned Parenthood can pump out, all the Constitutionally amended Gay Marriages that can be performed in the shortest amount of time, all the Welfare dependent crack whores that can pump babies out at record speed, ensuring millions more Welfare dependent crack whores and gangstas, more Government control over our every waking moment, more and more taxes, our very National Sovereignty destroyed in order to bow down to the rest of the world that dreams of our downfall, and fully open borders ensuring that our Nation is totally overrun by those countries that are determined to take us down from the inside…….and the other half want our Government to do only that which the Constitution deems is it’s are of power, States in control of whether they want to allow abortions and gay marriage, less welfare, secure borders, strong Military, less taxes, and making it crystal clear to the rest of the world that we will drill for our own oil where we damn well please and this Global Warming shit is just that…shit. We will also no longer give aid to those countries that refuse to clean up their own corrupt governments to insure that their own people are taken care of.
So….what does the Left offer in compromise? Not a damn thing. They always expect us to bend first. Our principles have to dissolve first. Our standards have to be lowered first. Once that happens they always find a reason to back off their end of the deal.
F*ck compromise. It only benefits those that play dirty enough to turn it to their own devious ends.
We have been led to believe that as long as candidates had that magic “R” behind their names, that all is well and we were ensuring our country’s future. What has happened in reality is that we have allowed those with Leftist ideals to pose as “Republicans” and accepted whatever crumbs they chose to throw at us, instead of insisting on true Conservative ideals and actions. As they have slid more and more to the Left we have found ourselves having to sacrifice principles, standards and even our Constitution’s survival in order to keep those “R’s” in office. What we were actually doing was being led down the road to believing that surrender is the only way to live. We’ve become the nation that backs down the minute someone stamps their foot in offense for the smallest piss poor excuse they can manage to throw the “racist”, “bigot”, “homophobe”, or “Islamaphobe” charge at.
We can no longer speak our minds. We can no longer think about speaking our minds. We can no longer count on our Government doing what is right. They will only do what they deem is the best thing to remain in full power over our lives.
We have been railroaded into this place. We have been told that we have to keep “Republicans” in office or we’re doomed.
So what do we do when we’re destroyed by those “Republicans” who are really Socialist in a slightly more palatable form? Who do we blame then?

The idea of a new party has been floating around for some time now among us and our blogospheric brethren. It’s the only way BUT it’s a multi-generational task given the average time build a party, by necessity from the ground up. Starting a party from a national level would be a task entirely too costly for those of us that would support it.
Still and all, we do in FACT need a viable third-party, a Reagan-Conservative party, that embraces without wavering true conservative ideals as opposed to big-tent full of

To start a new political party, first you need to get like minded people to agree to it. You need to lay out the party principles and STICK to them.
Then you start at the bottom. Go for the local seats, school boards, city councils, things like that. Then move upwards.
Considering the coming disaster, a new party could be formed. However, if I’m right there won’t be any more elections in this country for a generation…if ever again. :em12:

My friends there is already an outlet for the disgruntled masses. I hate to toot my own horn but the libertarian party is always on the lookout for new members. We embody everything that the Republicans use to stand for; small government, lower taxes, property rights, states rights, respect for the bill of rights. Yet for years everyone as some here have so beautifully stated that there is no difference anymore between the two parties, not one stitch hasn’t been in a very long time. Now, after years of being crapped on by the two corporations(and no I won;t even try that shit where I cross out corporations and put parties like it was some kind of oopsie that I dared call them corporations) you have finally woken up and realized that the system is broken and that neither the Jackass party nor the so called Grand Ole Party wants to help because why fix something that is broken to your advantage. Ok, I’m not saying you should join the Libertarian party nor is it the perfect choice, all I ask is that you give us a look. Who knows, you just might like what you see.
January 30th, 2008 at 12:26 PMUsing
I’m a libertarian/conservative activist locally, and we’re all about the local offices. Bite off what you can win, then build toward regional and national success.
The thing is, the Dems and the Libertarians are going through their own “civil wars” right now, though they aren’t nearly as vital. See, if the GOP rolls over completely to socialism (beyond the Bush variety), we as a country are SCREWED. Outside of the GOP, the Constitution and Libertarian parties will become the last bastions of conservatism.
Let that sink in for a moment. If you don’t want to face surrender or exile at the hands of the RINO’s, now’s the time to take a stand. I’m an exiled GOPer in the Libertarian Party, though I re-registered GOP to vote for Dr. Paul. If that’s the kind of situation you want to prevent for yourself, you have to act now to prevent it. Pretty soon, people of principle will not be welcome at all in the two major parties, and the best we can hope fore is that the GOP will collapse like the Whig Party before it. It’s why I left, and many more people are boarding the lifeboats these days.

If you are suggesting that we aren’t up to the challenge of defending the Constitution, I can assure you we will do what is necessary but only when and if it is necessary. That is a very dangerous road you speak of, even if such a coup had the best intentions at heart it would still have the potential to do harm as well. That is why I will repeat, we will do what is necessary to uphold the Constitution, but only in the most dire circumstances would I even consider it. I’m not saying your wrong that we are in a pickle at the moment, but all this doomsday talk isn;t really that helpful. I hate to say it, but being a defeatist is the liberal’s job not ours.

There was some discussion over at Malkin’s Hot Air discussing McAmnesty:
- CABE: “That’s what you idiots get when you vote for McCain. You get an appeaser. You get someone who will concede issues to the left. And all this just because “he can win” in the general? Thanks for taking this party to hell.”
- Darth Executor: We get someone who has a chance at beating the liberal media slander machine.
- CABE: He’s ONE OF THEM!
- Darth Executor: “No, he isn’t, and this rampant paranoia needs to stop before Hot Air starts to resemble a Conservative version of the DU.”
We may all be witness, now, to the implosion of the Republican Party as the “moderates” led by McAmnesty take on the “conservatives” like Thompson. Guess which side the media will be pulling for?
The Republic is strong not because of its leaders, but in spite of it, as long as we have common people with uncommon valor in the trenches.

When the next national calamity occurs (on the scale of the Great Depression), that will be the point in which our country and freedoms will be at their most vulnerable. People who have already been rendered helpless by entitlements will be screaming for the gubmint to do whatever is necessary to bail them out and the gubmint will gladly oblige. Remember, those highly enlightened politicians and bureaucrats in DC know what is best for you and will gladly seize more power to shove their enlightened goodness down your throat. Seizing power during a real or contrived national emergency is an old, but proven ploy. Like Hitler in the 1930s.
A large city is vaporized, the economy implodes, feral humans loot at will… The government takes control promising order and you lose your guns and freedoms in the process.

There is no doubt that we cannot sit back and do nothing. If we do - we deserve worse than we get. Personally, I figure the system is broken. I think our Founding Fathers would be heartsick to see the extent of corruption within our two party system. It would be best to tear it down and build something new and rock-solid on the foundation our forefathers built. Millions of us are actively looking for leaders with a spine of steel and an unswerving loyalty to the American people and the sovereignty of our homeland! We won’t find them in either party. There needs to be a radical overthrow of the rotten parties currently in control.
It’s time to throw them all out - the spirit of the American Revolution burns deeps inside many of us. It’s time to ignite that fire and accomplish what lesser men and women have deemed impossible.
The unfortunate reality, as evilned pointed out, is that it already may be TOO LATE.

In the words of Benjamin Franklin
All great nations, societies or states must either renew their convictions of why they exist or they must fall. It was the way with the Greeks, the Pax Roma, Mayans and the European states that gave not only war but also greatness to the world. All these states were defeated first from within before the barbarians were even near the gates. These states were dead long before they were overthrown. All the invaders did was extinguishing the life; the soul and heart had already perished long before.
And that’s where we are now; we talk about “holding the line”, but for what? Haven’t our hearts and souls already been extinguished through a government that only exits to serve itself? Do we really want to defend something that only prolongs our agony and misery? People rise up and say we live in free country. Then say something offensive, try raising your kids by your standards not the states, carry a pistol in full view and see what happens. Ask to pray to your God and you’re treated like a mental patient. It’s not “Merry Christmas” it’s “Happy Holidays”. You send your kids to college you get back a bunch of Socialists that demand compensation for the years that you “abused them” because some professor said it so they must be right.
I love this country and all that stood for but now I look at what it is become but maybe it’s time for this nation to fall and maybe what are Forefathers dreamed for this nation can once again rise from the ashes. We as a nation have never had to live under the sword but we are slaves none the less. We’ve handed our freedom over piece by piece to get our 30 pieces of Silver. Clinton being elected is only one more piece that we’ll hand over to our masters.
Rome deserved what it got because of what it became a greedy, self-indulgent society that in the end had to hire merc’s to fill the ranks of the Legions.
Is there any difference between us now and them? I don’t see any…

Let me be clear and unambiguous:
The entire history of the United States is riddled with flagrant anti-Constitutional excesses made by our elected Representatives. At no time, however (except the recent Southern States Kerfuffle) have they been taken to task and run out on a rail. Our Esteemed Representatives in Washington have realized they can keep the Masses in Check by manipulating Federal spending and that wonderful computer-supported gerrymandered Congressional District.
It doesn’t mean a hill of beans who is President. What matters is the dreck we call Professional Politicians (and their bloated staffs) who the Masses elect to serve, but who really serve a) themselves b) their Political Party c) whoever pays them the most. THEY are the ones who have put this country into a near death spiral since they are, in essence, accountable to no one. Consider: Congress passed legislation that brought forth the Income Tax, Federal Tax Witholding, popular election of Senators; they are also responsible for legislation that permits them to KEEP any unspent campaign funds, provide a ‘Retirement Plan’ (how can one retire if one is elected to serve?) providing them upwards of 85% of their Congressional salary, automatic pay raises, get free parking at Reagan National Airport.
The idea of a Third Political Party (sorry, I can’t call the Libertarians a political party) has merit, but it will never happen. The sheeple of the past made sure future generations would be stuck with RINOcrats and Socialist-Democrats. I say, send Pink Slips to every Representative and let them go work for a living. Elect conservative, patriotic, Veterans to serve and then have them tell Madame President where she can put her veto pen and then rotate at 6 rpm.

If someone seeks to make herself president for life, she might find her goal is realized in an unanticipated mannre. Particularly if she is also notorious for insulting and disprespectign her Secret Service bodyguards.
Personally, I am unreservedly opposed to assasination; history has shown repeatedly that it turns the undeserving into martyrs whom you can never get rid of thereafter. Nicoa and Elena Ceaucescu were tried, sentenced and executed, and consequently never became martyrs. There are various politicians in Washington whom I would love to see hanged wearing an orange jumpsuit. Short drop please, and a couple of them would need extra strong rope. Of course, if a tyrant were struck down by his/her own bodyguards, the dynamic might be different.
I also absolutely do not want the approaching civil war. Nobody who has actually seen war does. And get it out of your minds that our Civil War II will bear any likeness to our previous war between the states with its regional character and organized regualr militaries. This second war will more resenble the early stages of the Spanish and Yugoslav wars, where friendly and hostile territories were defined by interspersed houses, blocks, and neighborhoods. Even apartments. And no quarter given or asked.
But what I want is not a factor; what is coming will have a mindlessness of its own and we will do our best.

Gee whiz, if we Liberals have managed to survive through two terms of Junior, The Boy Blunder, I’m thinking you can endure at least the next term with Obama.
Political control is a lot like a pendulum swing. Sometimes it has swung left and gets to the end of its arc, and travels back in the other direction. It is one of the things this country does to self-correct and make sure that things don’t grow stagnant or worse.
I’m amazed at some of the hand-wringing I see here, or the calling to arms, and all of that. So what, you have some bad choices for candidates this time around. It isn’t like the Democrats haven’t had bad choices themselves. Kerry was a real gem, as was Carter, Kennedy, Jackson, etc.
But I am willing to give Obama a chance. He couldn’t possibly do worse than President Chuckles has over the past seven years.
January 30th, 2008 at 3:58 PMUsing
Well, there is a RR candidate: Ron Paul. I’m volunteering for him, but I’m not under any illusions about his chances. After all, smaller government, no income tax, lower spending, states’ rights, and opposing the Roe v. Wade practically are not GOP platform items since Bush 43 was elected.
Unfortunately, he isn’t acceptable because he opposes the Iraq invasion. He refused the congressional pension, he voted against excessive spending, and he fought the RINO’s in Congress. And yet, this guy has been smeared, demeaned, and blacked-out in the liberal media because he stands firm on one issue…the Iraq orthodoxy. Go figure, “conservatives” supporting RINO’s over a conservative because of what the liberals are saying. Until this year, I wouldn’t have thought it possible, but it happened.
So, quit whining about there being no Renaldus Magnus candidate. He wasn’t good enough for you, and you declined to do your own research. If you let this opportunity pass, you’ll have to wait four or eight years (maybe longer) to find another, and you can thank yourselves. Sure, McCain and Romney are just what we need because Hillary and Obama will pull us out of Iraq…except that Hillary and Obama won’t pull us out of Iraq.
Conservatives fell for the 2-party Kansas City Shuffle: Ending foreign aid is racist. Ending a national bank and income tax is anti-semitic. The New Republic smears a man, and we take their word for it. Opposing open borders and unlawful wiretaps is un-American and pro-terror. This is why we’re looking at an MSM-engineered fake choice between the Dems and McCain.
It’s easy to talk about civil war, but when we can’t even be bothered to look beyond the MSM for information about candidates, we have no business talking about taking up arms because we haven’t exhausted peaceful options for reform. If we’d get out of our Pavlovian Klintoon “politics of meaning” mindset, we could actually fix this peacefully. HOWEVER, that would require analysis beyond talking head and buzzwords (even if they’re on FOX), and I haven’t seen too many signs that it’s going to change.

It is an honor to be among fellow American patriots. America is not lost. Freedoms flame cannot be extinguished. Though the flame may be dimmed in the soul of many, I deeply believe that Americans will yet feed the flame of patriotism and freedom and succeed in ensuring that our posterity will enjoy the freedoms we cherish and must defend.
How bad do we want freedom? Do we want freedom as much as others want power? Power motivates many in the political class. Power has corrupted or made lax many good men and women who have entered the political class in our country. What are we willing to do for freedom? Are we willing to write letters to newspapers? Are we willing to have conversations with our friends and associates encouraging American ideals? Are we willing to serve our country? Are we willing to run for local office, serve on school boards, work to better our communities, and engourage the enaction of laws which reflect good governemnt and the elimination of bad laws? How bad do we want freedom?
But I condemn myself. What have I done?
I am not afriad of any administration. As powerful as the president is, the American constitution still rules our nation. Congress and the bench will not let any president usurp unchecked power, for they crave power themselves. All three branches of government need improving, but we are fortuante to have three branches. Iniertia keeps the political class in power, but things can happen fast. How long before the Berlin Wall fell did it seem impossible? A few years? Perhaps we are not as far away as we may think.
I stand HERE.

Actually, he isn’t acceptable because he doesn’t understand Islam in the slightest nor the jihadi threat. He blames America for the insanity of the Middle East that is due to the corruption, savagery, and dysfunction inherent in Islam. He naively thinks it’s because we have troops in Saudi Arabia. That depth of misunderstanding and that ability to blame America first is exactly why Ron Paul is not acceptable.
January 30th, 2008 at 4:36 PMUsing
Jeez, enough with the Ron Paul already. He is non-electable. His biggest problem is he is an isolationist and he’d get us all killed because of it. Disengage the terrorists, bury his head in the sand while our enemies arm themselves to the teeth with NBC weapons. They get stronger while we engage in magical thinking. Next thing you know, half a dozen cities are melting under a Jihadi nuclear fireball. No thanks, buddy. There is a war for cultural dominance on this planet and nuclear proliferation has made it so that even a cutthroat band 7th Century camel fucking retards can bring a nation as powerful as America to its’ knees. All of Paul’s lofty ideals won’t be worth a shit if he won’t engage world troublemakers. Overall, I like his ideas. Who wouldn’t? But how long would it last if we refuse to shoot the rabid dogs trying to bite us?
The system is corrupt and bankrupt. We have entrusted the Republic to vipers and flim flam men. We allowed this to happen and we are responsible for returning it to what our Forefathers had intended. As far as I’m concerned, every option, sans Ron Paul, is open for consideration.

And we put up with two terms of the Klintoon Krime Kartel on this side of the fence. However and it’s a BIG HOWEVER, 9/11/2001 changed everything, like it or not.
In addition to a general war of terror, unchecked mass illegal immigration, a nuclear ambitious Iran as well as an increasingly blustering North Korea the country faces known enemies on multiple fronts. Simply put we’re electing much more of a Commander-in-Chief than a Chief Executive Officer.
We haven’t dialed the clock back to 1992 and can let the good times roll with feel good domestic policies and even bigger government programs unrelated to domestic security.
As much as I’ve come to dislike the Crawford Crawdad, he’s kept us safe from another attack and made two fledgling democracies from former countries that harbored, aided and abetted enemies of the west.
The stakes are an order of magnitude higher now, almost if not higher than they have been since FDR died and Harry Truman found himself unprepared to sit in the Oval Office.
This go-round ain’t about silly playground politics, we’re at war. GET IT?

LaVache,
It all boils down to this IMHO. Republicans and RINO’s actually believe in the law and generally want to help the country. (Ok, clean off you monitor and stop laughing), By this I mean they generally think of the country first, they re-election second and their constituents third.
Liberals always think of themselves first. The country and their constituents aren’t even on the radar. They want to “Do good” because it makes them “Feel good.” They don’t like the constitution since it gets in their way to do good, but they will scream to high heaven if “Their” rights are interfered with.
Now Hillary is a rather unique case. Like the slickster, she is a Tranzi. [1] Nothing matters to her except power and the best way to attain it and to keep it. She does not believe the laws apply to her and that she is above such things as “elections. She hates having to campaign. If given the chance, once in office she’s going to do everything she can to stay there.
As I’ve said before, Hillary Clinton is the Democratic Nixon without the ethics. [2]
I’m sure someone can confirm this, but wasn’t that mass murdering scumbitch Janet Reno selected as AG by the Iceberg? Reno won’t be back in office due to illness, but you can bet the Mad Cackler will fine someone else just as odious. Wanna bet we see a lot more Ruby Ridge/Branch Davidian scenarios in another Clinton administration? [3] [4]
1) Trans-national one world socialist
2) In the end, Nixon resigned for the good of the country. He might have held on and had the military arrest the congress. Could he have gotten away with it?
3) Ruby Ridge Begat Waco Tx. which brought along the Murrow building. May McVeigh burn for all eternity.
4) This is NOT the place to discuss the history of those raids etc. I bring it up as a historical note and to show what may happen again.

I really don’t want to see this nation come apart at the seams, not only because I (and my father, and my uncles, and grandfathers and so on, not to mention the Fruit of My Looms, presently on duty in the world’s biggest litterbox) invested some pretty serious sweat, as well as other bodily fluids, in keeping that flag up there. More importantly, I have kids, and step-kids, and grandkids, all of whom are more precious to me than anything in the world, and I shudder to think what will become of them if the Biodegradeable Fertilizer hits the Rotary Wind Current Generator.
That said, I also, long long ago, stood up in front of God and a Navy JG and promised, so help me G-d, to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against ALL enemies, foreign and domestic. Unless and until someone can show me an expiration date on it “that is what I full intend to do.”

Redhead Infidel #37
Since I am not a dialectical materialist, I believe that nothing is inevitable except death, taxes. and human stupidity. :em98: Oh, and cabbage farts. But due to the human factor, some things can become far more likely, and I do see all the major political and social trends moving in a direction leading toward a perfect political storm. Plus there are numerous factions and individuals on the left who all seem to think that history is on their side, and also a few Nut Goodie Bars, nominally on our side, with a similar attraction to “let’s start it now”. I’ve found some of them amongst the wild-eyed fringe libertarians. And no, I do not have an idea about time frames; if I did, I’d be clever enough to head it off - or at least to make a Soros-sized killing in the stock market. In 1978 I was certain that the USA could not survive the second Carter administration. My mistake was that I failed to detect a first Reagan administration two years in the future.
Deeply troubling is a good, healthy perspective to take. If more people thought like that, the odds of trouble would be far less likely. And if you’re the same Redhead Infidel I suspect, then you know some of the wacko’s to whom I’ve referred. But in that case, I also tell you than IMHO, your kids will be quite well prepared to cope with the situation.

You are of course correct. It was The Beeste who selected Janet Reno after her two previous choices, Kimba Wood and Lannie Guenier both crashed and burned.
You are also right about the difference between the Repubs and Demons. Evil will get tired and take a break, or kick back to enjoy the fruits of its work. But the the practitioner of good is tireless and relentless in his driven obsession to inflict good on the entire world. Lord preserve us from the social workers and reformers, for they will give us no peace till we or they are in the grave.
And as an aside. Whichever party we consider, we should remmeber this principle. Cadres is policy. This is another major problem with Ron Paul. Even if you find many of his stated princilpes attractive, as do I, if he gets elected, he will bring in his supporters for government posts. And then we will need to spike the White House drinking water with Librium.

Masculine republics decline into feminine democracies and democracies into despotism. ~ Aristotle
For those of you who are :em98: at the thought of 4 years of leftist rule — under either Clinton or Obama — may I offer the consolation that the implosion of the great American experiment (which I anticipate, sorrowfully, is on the 5-year horizon, unless pushed back) will be the fault of not only a Democratic president (let’s be honest here: McCain is Dole circa 1996) but of a member of one of the protected minorities.
A bitter irony, I know, and certainly petty, but the identity politicians are a big part of what’s destroying the American political structure, culture, and society. So I say let them turn upon their own vomit, and may they choke on it. :em96:

I’m not sure John McCain even qualifies as a “Shrillary Lite.”
Seriously.
A McCain/Hillary election would boil down to a choice between two hot-tempered, mean-spirited, big-spending nanny statists of demonstrated personal corruption and complete indifference to the Constitution.
Both of whom despise principled conservatives.
Both of whom have spent the last seven years fucking over their President and his party out of nothing more than resentment at losing the last Presidential election.
Both of whom would be disastrous for the country because their personal ambition completely trumps the welfare of the country at large.
Where’s the difference? Which of those two choices qualifies as the “lesser” evil?
Screw it. If those two are the nominees, I’m likely to stay home. Or if I do go to the polls, then as long as I’m throwing my vote away I’ll simply vote for Satan or Cthulhu as a write-in candidate. If evil will occupy the White House in 2009…it might as well not be a lesser one.

It’s well beyond the simple question of who will be the next POTUS: it’s a clarion call for the Republican Party to stop trying to be Democrats. If I wanted Democrats in office I would vote for them.

I am quite the shy, timid one… Let me see if I can “open up” a bit.
If the fix is in with the Republican powerbrokers, then McLame sure as shit is the nominee and there is not a damn thing we can do about it. Do you think for one minute the RNC listens to us anyway? What, pray tell, since the Republicans took control of congress in the ’90s has OUR party done for us Reagan conservatives? Bob “In the Third Person” Dole? GW “let’s see if I can out spend the Democrats” Bush? McLame is the anointed one, the worthless multi-term Capitol Hill POS squatter that will get the proverbial nod while us RR Conservatives get the knob - AGAIN! Oh, and FUCK YOU Julianne and Schwartzenpecker for endorsing McLame. Some big surprise there.
Jaybear, I sure as hell hope you’re right and I’m wrong about derailing McLame. It’s open season on ROMNEY now, so I expect lots of media and RINO poo flinging at him between now and Tuesday. It is as predicable as the next sunrise. I get to participate in the OK primary on Tuesday and I assure you, Romney will get my (and Mrs. Major’s) support. Everybody we know is aware of why we are voting for him and we have managed to turn a few away from McLame. I just have this gut feeling that, this time next week, the Empire will be lighting up the Death Star over McLame’s delegate count.
I agree that, whether or not we become the unwilling recipient of a McLame enema, we should start putting our personal efforts into creating a solidly conservative Congress. I WILL NOT vote for McLame. I’ll write in Alfred E. Neuman, Elmer Fudd or Ricky Ricardo before I’ll lower myself to vote for a RINO shit ball.

Jaybear #67-
I wasn’t talking about giving up or giving in or civil war for that matter. The intent was to awaken, hopefully the rest of the country (The other Floridiots, as BC so aptly put it) that a lot is on the line here.
It’s not about crying over Fred, but the reality that lies before us, in this election cycle. It started seconds after W took the second oath of office and continued into the 2006 mid-terms. The media with it’s constant drum-beat and endless polls and analysis have lulled some of us into a trance or perhaps more properly fatigue with the process in general.
The result of this has been to distract us into a false sense that somehow, in some magical way a perfect candidate would emerge from the herd of someone wearing the mantle of Reagan would ride into town on a white horse and save the day. A pipe dream at best, and madness at worst.
The game goes on and it isn’t over until the fat lady sings, but now isn’t the time to piss, shit and moan over what should be, but what is and where we need to go to avoid or at least minimize the damage already done.
Simply put, it’s time for a wakeup call and a boot in the ass to put our game faces on and get to work on damage control, and that requires ALL of us to keep in the game, go to the polls and get local, state and federal politicians into office to hold the line at what we’re likely going to end up with seated at 1600 Pennsy.
We’ll do some research and see about getting a list of solid conservatives posted appropriately, but that task necessarily is best done in your own home. I’m not all that willing to take any organizational ‘ratings’ of find Waldo the conservative in your district.
Keep hammering away on your own blogs, read others, listen to talk radio and above all else do your homework.

Greetings to all, long time reader, first time poster.
I realize that I have no analytical material to back up this assertion, but I will say it anyway. The problems we are seeing with this Presidential race and with the politicians in DC will not go away until all of the hippy/60’s critters are out of government. For some reason, the people in that generation have the need to be “liked” so they tell people what they want to hear and spend my money like drunken sailors (as opposed to drunken infantrymen). They want to be “inclusive” and not “divisive”. I’m 33 years old and I realize, along with a significant portion of my peers, that I will not be getting Social Security and that my tax dollars are being flushed down the toilet on social programs that are worthless. Once the McCain/Clinton et al. generation of politicians are no longer in power or pulling the strings, I think you will see a much more realistic group of officials that are willing to make the hard choices. This may be wishful thinking on my part and not reality, but I think this is a correct idea.
On a side note, I don’t think the US is at the brink of falling apart like Rome. As long as you continue to see the extremely strong enlistment and re-enlistment numbers we have now in our Armed Forces during a time of war, we aren’t to bad off.

I pray every day that I’ll get to die old & gray, peacefully in my bed, with my family and friends thinking I was a something of a paranoid nut — but should things go differently, MOLON LABE.
As for the rest of the discussion herein: I will not vote for McCain. I will not vote for McCain. I will not vote for McCain. Period. End of story. Sorry kids, but I won’t accept your temper tantrums of blame when I refuse to vote for a libtard, regardless of the letter they tack on after their name. “We” had our chances to pick a real candidate (Hunter? Fred?) and you early states blew it (and don’t get me started on how far from the Founder’s vision we’ve strayed with this whole presidential election farce…), so if McInane is the best that can be fielded by the Republicans …then to the Republicans I say don’t let the door hit you on the ass on your way out. As a relatively young conservative I’m sick-and-damn-tired of voting for the lesser evil of the available evils.
Will my stubborn-ass write-in for Fred! mean the country is destroyed by Queen HRC? I doubt it. But I’ll allow a “Perhaps, perhaps not” — and then submit that if the outcome hinges on whether or not I vote for McAmnesty in ‘08, then we as a country are already well and truly FUBAR’d. If we’re really that close to the edge, then I say let’s shit or get off the pot so we can get to cleaning things up sooner rather than later. “How can you sleep at night knowing that you contributed to the coronation of Hitlery Rotten Cankles!??!?!!!11,” you might be screaming. Pretty easily, says I: by my calculus at least I’ll be able to tell my children, as we’re runnin’ guns for the Conservative Resistance in the Second Civil War, “Hell, kids, we tried to stop it from coming to this, but a large number of your countrymen just couldn’t be bothered to turn off the friggin’ ‘American Idol’ and THINK.”

Agreed. There’s some great arguments here….from everyone.
DJ Being that the pendulum is swinging hard left wouldn’t be a concern to you, by your own admission you are left of center.
I would submit to you and those opposing your views however that those of us on the right, center, and yes some on the left, are watching with growing concern over this “swing”, because there seems to be no “correction” any where in the future.
This is a little long but here goes…
From my view this leftward “swing” has continued unabated for the better part of 20 years, Bush Sr was no angel of the Regan era, in fact, him and Regan differed greatly on many fronts, “Read My Lips, No new Taxes” ring a bell????
Then we get that followed by 8 years of Clinton followed by 8 years of RINO Bush, both administrations hiking taxes and pushing further and further left. Thats 22 Years. Or pretty much my whole adult life.
Remember Bush II had a “budget surplus”, not counting the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, he has now allowed congress to nearly triple the federal budget on purley DOMESTIC issues, Medicare Perscriptions, No Child left Behind, etc, face it the man couldnt find his veto pen the first 6 years of his terms unless some one would of stabbed him in the eye with it.
He touts his “tax cuts” as ending the recession, but he made those so called tax cuts without steming the bleeding of the public coffers for social programs I-XXXVVVII. This makes him a full blown left of center big government RINO.
It is no secret that the tax income going INTO the federal government has increasesd by huge amounts under both his and the Clinton’s admin. And the beltway bandits laugh all the way to the bank, because the sheeple are too damn enamored with Brittnay Skank Spears to give a shit, as long as they can oggle some skank’s breasts on thier shiney flat screen LCD TV’s who cares?!?!? No one is watching the big picture here, it’s all 15 second sound bites and smoke and mirrors.
Let me get back on track here, What I am driving at here is, Sooner or later the pendulum is going to hit the “stops” so hard it breaks them. We’re seeing that now.
Once those stops are broken and that pedulum is allowed free travel to the left unfettered, we will find ourselves in a full socialist nightmare. That is the concern of myself and millions of others including a lot of folks I’ve talked to with “D” solidly in thier voter registrations.
In fact I personally fully feel those stops broke a long time ago, in the Clinton Era, if not broken, they got bent very badly.
I’m not even a “good conservative” by any stretch of the word. But I want the U.S. Government and it’s nanny state socialist agenedas OUT of my pockets, out of my home, and out of my life.
Mcain is not going to do that, Hillarly will make it worse, Obama will make it worse. That is why the “right” and “Conservatives” and “Centrists” are so pissed off. 22 % approval ratings for Congress anybody?
We, and I mean Left and Right….have no viable alternatives and we’re being force fed a bunch of bullshit by the power brokers in the GOP, DNC, and DC.
On the right, We’re told to vote for Mcain to avoid Hillary in the white house or Obama in the white house, all the while Mcain is going to sit in the WH and rob us blind.
On the left I find it hard to swallow and think the whole Democratic party is that happy with thier choices, due to the fact a lot of BLUE collar types are Dems, these are your Union folks, and they ain’t digging this whole election cycle either.
They look at the two hard left canidates and “champions of the middle class” with a suspcious eye and one hand on their wallets, because they too are in the same damned if you do or damned if you dont situation the rest of middle class America is in.
Anyhow, In the end you and others are right, Civil War is probably a pretty far out concept, I will pay my taxes and what not as I am required to but sooner or later as the pedulum goes too far left, myself and people like you and millions of others are going to start loosing that which we have worked for all of our lives to obtain and that is unacceptable.
Am I claiming that Mcain’s, Hillary’s Or Obama’s lock step jugernaut will come in and seize mine or your homes, my cars, our whatever?
No I am not, HOWEVER, when I or otheres can no longer afford to put food on the table or I am bringing home 10% -15% less a month to fund the welfare state, illegal aliens, governmental health care, and G-d knows what else, and I am forced into a choice of selling my property, or even my home, because I can no longer afford to maintain it or pay the taxes on it?
Then yes I’ve lost something I worked for and it is in fact the U.S. Government through their over reaching that took it away from me.
This is where the “pedulum” is headed ….
And I will submit to you….It is not the U.S. Governments RIGHT to take a damn thing from me or you or anyone else, that we have earned.
When they do attempt that, be it overt or covert actions through massive tax hikes to fund thier latest boondoogle… we have a consitutional DUTY and Right to stop them, it’s called the reset button and yes it is in the Consitution.

Beautifully written. It is so sorrowful to see how many sheeple’s are in and running this country. Our “Elected Tormentor’s” have gained way to much power and privilege and have become legends in their own minds. The appointed “Black Robes of Judgment crowd” have decided in many cases that they are better at setting policy instead of following the laws as laid out in the Constitution. The MSM (Main Stream[ing load] Media) have some how acquired the ‘right’ to load our plates with their masters views. The air of “Political Correctness” now attempts to suffocate those few remaining Freedom loving individuals by brandishing them with every hateful name they can acquire. Both political parties which once were viable candidates of the people have now; for almost everyone involved, become one in the same. Concerned only about their power and disdaining of the people who put them there.
But really the saddest part of all. . . is how so many of our fellow citizens have given up their inalienable rights because they are just plain lazy both in mind and body and spoiled. That apathy is the fertilizer that strengthens the growth of the corruption we now see and recognize.
Is it too late to stem this advance? I pray not. But I no longer see the spark of Liberty and Freedom in the eyes of most of my fellow man. Those of us that still have it are now the shunned ones, the lunatic fringe.

Look for the “Email This Post” link at the bottom-right corner of the initial post here or on the front page. Click that link, put in all of the important information — including your email address (for the FISA Court), and send it on its merry little way.
I think you might need to re-calibrate a bit, because while it has probably swung to the left of you, it has barely passed into the light-blue range yet. It still has a long ways to go before it gets into the darker blue — and then I will start to fret a bit.

Yes, Rurik. I’m the Redhead you’re thinking of. We met in DC during GOE I. I haven’t been around in a long time, but I haven’t been out of the fight - I was just in a different arena. But now that Hunter is down and out, I’m free to roam the blogs again and speak my mind.

If we are as disgruntled as we think and the leadership of the GOP won’t bend to our will, remember the Republican party didn’t exist until 1854. people were mad at the Whigs and decided to do better. in 6 years they went from nothing to the presidency.
I say support the conservatives this election but be working on a conservative party to replace the republican party that has forsaken its roots and sold out to the insanity that is liberalism.

LC CiSSnarl5.7 Chariot Builder @ 88:
You’re kidding, right?
BILLIONS of OUR dollars a year thrown out to “combat poverty”
I know that the number one enemy of the true conservative is to completely roll back FDR’s New Deal and LBJ’s Great Society, but both have been the reason why we were able to develop a large middle class in this country and maintain it for so long. But over the past twenty-eight years, there has been a concerted effort to dismantle them and as such, we have seen the middle class start to shrink and falter.
But has it pulled all people out of poverty? Of course not — there is always going to be a poverty class. It is utopian to think that poverty will be completely wiped out.
educate the chiiiiildrun
Now there is a dastardly thing to do. How dare we educate our children. We wouldn’t want our children to become better off than we were now would we?
A recent report had the US ranking 29th behind other developed nations when it comes to science education, 25th in math, 12th in reading. All were declines from 2003.
The “No Child Left Behind” program might have actually worked, if Bush had chosen to actually fund it. But I am not a fan of teaching to a test, like they are forcing teachers to do these days.
Save the Great spotted Owl
Stupid as this was — me being from the Pacific North West, and can rant all day and night about this, wasn’t this a Reagan-era thing? It was a push-back against Reagan’s plan of literally selling off our national forests that consisted mainly of old growth timber to Japan.
Jackboot mentioned Teddy Roosevelt in his initial post here and I had to chuckle a bit. Teddy was the one who initially set aside all of this land as ‘national lands’ to be preserved. Reagan and Roosevelt would have had some serious arguments when it came to the need to preserve our environment and resources.
War on drugs
The War on Drugs started with Nixon, and was heavily expanded by Reagan. But because addicts and dealers weren’t considered much of a constituency, BOTH parties used them to show how “tough” they were on crime. That is why we have probably the most draconian drug laws in the world on the books. But most of the insanity, namely, the War on (fill in blank) comes from Republicans who think that you can just declare “war” on something and it will magically battle it into submission. That was how we ended up with a war on a tactic of war, terrorism. What an assinine concept. You might as well call for a war on the sneak attack, or the war on out-flanking, or something like that.
Bridges to nowhere
Wasn’t that Senator Stevens, the crusty old Conservative from Alaska with his bridge to serve 50 residents on an island? Explain to me how that was somehow a Liberal plan. I know that it was because of us Liberals that it was finally stripped from being an earmark.
The point I am trying to make here is that the fringe of neither side has been able to stay in power long before the pendulum starts swinging the other direction. We have a unique way of correcting our course when we start straying too far left or too far right. Right now we are just starting our swing towards the middle. When things get too far to the left, then we will start swinging the other direction.
Have patience.

I hope you’re telling me we are at the apex of the leftward swing and are ready to head back to the right.

It’s pretty bad when your presidential choices are Mr. Douchebag vs. Mr. Shitbag… This crap is what causes people to turn to wine and anarchy. :em03:
It would be a great day indeed when it would not really matter who is president, because the power of the government is so limited, it is only preoccupied with its direct, legitimate functions: defense, police and courts… But I know that to wait for that time is as useless as wishing to fall asleep broke and wake up a billionaire. Staying home this election is very tempting indeed.
Oh, about the Death Star…

Do I look like I am kidding? ..Oh wait you can’t see me..never mind.
No I’m not kidding DJ. The Federal Government is so far out of it’s charter and role as written by the founding fathers it is criminal.
OK let me refute a few of your comments.
Now I must ask you if your kidding? You are aren’t you? Jumping Jesus on a pogo stick man!
We have a stable middle class because people work hard and try to better themselves, it has NOTHING whatsoever to do with any US Government hand outs.
It has been proven time and time again that those on welfrare and social programs generally stay there, it breeds maliase and sloth and will continue to do so. There are rare exceptions, but for the most part they stay on the public dole, where do you think the term “Welfare class”came from. This just doesn’t happen over night.
It has nothing to do with race creed or relgion, but it has EVERYTHING to do with giving people the chance to excel, rather than a measly government hand-out.
Government hand outs know no racial boundries hence for blacks and other minorites we have ghettos and for whites… trailer trash, and a small segment of the population lives in poverty and squalor it always will.
To illustrate the color blind aspect, I live in a small place I see it illustrated in stark detail, you have your small town folks that commute and work and do what they need to do to better thier familes lives, and you have the parasites, the white trash.
Where I live the population is 98.9 % WHITE, and still poverty lingers, why?
In fact from what I’ve seen every minority classes in that area of TN is actually doing quite well for themselves they own businesses and there are no slums, but there are plenty of trailers ..why is this? I’ll tell you why…There are those who live all on government hand outs, it’s not that the jobs aren’t there, it because they wont WORK. (And please, before you accuse me of being a snotty rich republican I LIVED in a trailer for a long time, I was “poor”, I know the bite of poverty, but I applied myself and I worked hard to better myself and my lot in life…so DONT GO THERE Or I shall haul your ass into the Arena and lop your head off!! :em01: )
And you’re exactly right poverty is never going to be irradicated, but to hear Dr. Dumbelass on the Hill talk about it, they have the situation well in hand and after 50 fucking years and trillions of dollars wasted we’re winning the war on poverty…yEAAAAH RIGHT.
I call bullshit. There is always going to be social parasites among us, those too lazy to work to suceed , and I say fuck em…it’s not my place or yours or any other person paying out hard earned taxes to continue to fund these leeches, and thier habits and thier decadance.
Harsh? You betcha but if the war on poverty were “winnable” and warm fuzzy programs like Welfare and what not were actually working…do you not think poverty would of been erased by now?
Basically most anyalst agree that it takes upwards of 8 years for any Adminsitration’s policies to trickle down to the average American, unless it is a sudden tax increase or other governmental manadate that directly improves or degrades ones income, most Americans do not see or feel the results of any law or actions in DC for 8 years.
So FDR and LBJ put these programs into place…It’s been damn near 75 years for one and almost 50 for the other…so tell me again …..why isnt poverty erased DJ? It’s had MORE than enough time to take effect… You know why, because government stipends and handouts DO.NOT.WORK.
You were born and raised in Canada were you not? Did you go to school here in the US as a child?
The reason I am asking is because some 20 odd years since I’ve graduated the face of education has changed drasticly. If you were not educated here how can you possibly sit there and tell me that education is not a complete and total cluster fuck these days? And that after 20 some odd years of government meddleing it’s not working.
Any LC that wants to chime in on this one feel free, because I am certain I am not the only one that sees this, I went to school and got an education, I learned the basics, and I learned things like History and Principles of Democracy, I even studied WHY our Society was different from the Soviet Union. I studied the classics like Shakepear and took a language. I also had 4 years each of Art study, Photography, and graphic desgin, in other words my education was very well rounded.
Ask a kid today what the Soviet Union even was and you’ll get a blank stare, and this is only a short interval since the fall of the Societ bloc in Eastern Europe.
After billions being spent on feel good head start programs and vouchers, this no child left behind that, it is obvious to anything but the most rabid socialist that the educational system is failing…does it not occur to you the simple fact that there IS a correlation between Federal Government meddleing in what used to be State guided education programs and between these pathetic scores and rankings?!
Do you not think there is some sort of reasoning behind the fact that homeschooling and private schools where parents have more of a say in what thier children learn is starting to take a bigger and bigger role in education and all these parents are doing this because, why?…..they’re rabid right wing death beasts like me? ? Wake up man.
I’m not going to answer your post line by line here, you know where my argument lies with your assertions, however I will point out that like any left winger immediatly does, you jumped on the fact that my examples
such as the bit about the spotted owl, and the bridge to nowhere are all REPUBLICAN disasters…and that’s exactly what I wanted you to do.
In a way, You just FULLY illustrated my underling point that it matters not whether there is an R or D behind any politicians name, At This point in time….the entire lot of them are useless and the Federal government is way out of bounds in it’s reach into American life.
I’m outta time here so I got’s to get going…I look forwad to your commnets.

Crap, it ate my post!! Oh well, here goes the re-entry…
First of all, Rurik and Readheaded Infidel, good to see you here! I too spent last St. Pat’s day with a good case of windburn. Then I went on to GOE II, GOE III (where I seriously thought I was going to lose my life; the “discussion” was pretty heated on my little corner of the world), the lobbying effort, the press conference…
Which is to say, Jackboot, when the time comes, you can count on me for food and sunblock. Hey, I sunburn easily and my response to disaster is to hit the kitchen and start cooking. It’s what I know.
CiSSnarl, I have a story for you– I have a good friend who went to VCU, possibly THE most liberal college in the entire state of Virginia. Friend was decidedly NOT a liberal. In one of his classes, some girl was spouting off PC BS about welfare, public assistance, etc. and Friend said he was not a fan. The girl immediately rounded on him and said approximately, “Of course you would say that– you’re an upper-middle-class white male!” Friend countered immediately with, “Number one, my mother is Mexican. Number Two, I grew UP on food stamps, and Number Three, you should keep your mouth shut until you know what you’re talking about!”
Friend is now an officer in the US Air Force. I went down a few years ago and helped to pin his rank on. :em93:
That being said, I have another example, whom I’ll call “Aunt Carol”. She had beaten the odds by managing to work herself back OFF the dole, not once but TWICE– once as a young wife and mother after a bitter divorce, and once after 9-11. (All 3 of her kids are gainfully employed and not living in her basement, by the way.) She recently had to go back on it after being diagnosed with lung cancer while serving as a contract employee (i.e. no health insurance). And I can tell you, she HATES the lack of dignity. She appreciates the assistance, but it really sticks in her craw that other people are making decisions about her life and what she’s allowed to have… she’s mentioned several times her desire to go back to work, even if it’s only part-time retail or something.
Once you know what REAL independence feels like, no substitute will do.

Heh-heh! That brings back memories. My freshman year at Boston College, philosophy class. End of semester, so we had a discussion about current society. Some little bitch started opening her cock-holster in praise of socialism and “soaking the rich”. I turned around and told her: “Until you work for a living, and not just hold a summer job to pay for candy and new clothes for your Barbies, don’t you dare try telling me what to do with my income. It is mine, I earned it, and until you earn yours, keep your hands and your policies out of my wallet”. You should have seen her face crumple. :em99:

You will find that is a fav tactic of leftist idiots: accuse others of being the oppressors when in reality they themselves are more oppressive than you will ever be. I’ve had the “middle-class white male” thrown in my face several times, when the fact is my mother gets food stamps and housing assistance. She is NOT a welfare mom, she works hard to bring home money to feed my three brothers and help put me through college. It is these elitist bastards who think themselves so “progressive” (read “facist”) who simultaneously say they want to “help” her and beat her farther down when she actually tries to raise up out of the dregs. Hypocritical bastards.
